Chuck's Roadhouse Bar & Grill in Leamington

The food is great, the service was impeccable and the lighting, temperature and visuals were perfect. I will make Chucks my regular.

Really Dismal Service. Like really bad. Basically invisible. Sat at the bar at dinner time, 6pm on a Sunday, place was moderately busy. After 15 minutes of not being acknowledged or greeted, i needed to flag down any person working there. A server serving bar booths caught me waving her over, she came to let me know the bartender was off doing something. I asked if I could place an order, with hesitation she agreed. Ordered a pint and asked for a menu and ordered an appetizer. Kitchen staff brought appetizer, other girl poured beer. Eventually, the bartender showed up sometime 25 minutes after Ive been sitting there, didnt acknowledge me or say anything. Oddly, another couple came some time later and sat beside me; within a minute the bartender returned and greeted them and took their drink order, still not saying anything to me. Must have been my second head growing from my shoulders. After finishing my app and draft, bartender passed by me several times, I had to stop her and ask for my bill. Naturally, no tip. For a chain restaurant, they really need to step up their customer service game. I hope this isnt the regular pace of things here and maybe just someone having a bad night. If this is regular, the management here needs to recognize feedback like this and implement some changes. Not returning.

Brought me the wrong burger and i accepted is so it wouldnt go to waste and not only did i get charged full price i got a 3% fee for their awesome service what a joke at Boston pizza they messed up a side and gave me 50% off

Been vacationing near Point Pelee for over 20 years and have gone to Chuck s Roadhouse several times over the past few years and it was good. We returned today for lunch and were disappointed. We waited at least 15 minutes before a waiter came to our table and only because I had to flag down the waiter to as us what we wanted to order. One of us ordered a hamburger with Onion Rings (not fries). She repeated our order THREE times verbally to confirm. The hamburger came with fries. I had the rib and wing combo. The ribs were dried out and tough. The wings were acceptable. Totally unlike our previous experience at this location. Very disappointed.

We were in town for a baseball tournament and popped in for dinner with the kids. Place got packed quickly but our service was super fast, and our server Abhay took the time to talk one of our group through the different steak choices and make recommendations. Chicken tacos were delicious, as was the steak, good selection of beer on tap too. Definitely recommend! Kid-friendliness: Had a whole group of kids from a baseball tournament who all left happy and full.

Got a table right away, waited for over 15 minutes. Not a single worker acknowledged our table. Ended up walking out and went elsewhere

Management have turned off parking lot lighting for the past two months making it hazardous for customers at night. Mediocre franchise fare.

We walked right in and got seated. The server was very attentive to us. Our food came right out. And was cooked to perfection. Prices was good for me. Lobster and filet mignon with backed potatoes and corn for $35. Definitely worth the try.

Restaurant was short-staffed. Waitress not cognizant of who was waiting in line. Tried to give next table to people who came in after us. Yelled at us that table had been cleared for customers who came in 10 minutes after us. Very upsetting. Told our waitress of conduct and she said they were understaffed and rude waitress was excitable. Ruined my meal. Did not eat it. Will not be returning. Meal took a long time to come. Felt like we were being punished. Awful experience.

The Indian manager who works the night shift is not a good manager, he is very arrogant. I think he should be fired, he is not a very arrogant service.

First and last time going there. Waitress pressing us for our order before we had even sat down. Burger had a fishy taste, and there was no sort of follow up after receiving the meal. Then the server pops up out of nowhere with the bill rushing us out? I would have had a couple more pints...Lady working seemed coked out. Hopefully the Kingsville location is a different owner.

I had chicken parm about a year ago it was very good I had it today it was the worst chicken parm I ever had it was like a M&M meat chicken breast with very little spaghetti and that was it no soup no salad no dinner roll no parmeson cheese I will never go back there it was a waste of my money

If I could leave zero stars I would. We were sat in a booth as soon as we walked in. Watched many tables be served that were seated after us. After 20 minutes of being blatantly ignored, our group of 4 got up and left. We were watched as we left but still not approached. Sad to see this place has gone downhill so much

We always look forward to our weekends in Leamington during the summer and they always include 1 or more meals at Chucks , we have been to other locations but none of them can compare to Leamington , consistantly great food and service every time !!!!

Was rushed through ordering .after ordering waited for an hour for 2 burgers and 1 chicken fingers food never came and we walked out people beside us never got therir cutlery for their food they ended up going and getting it themselves even after asking for it. Only 3 tables in the dinning room service was terrible. Wont even try to go back

We were seated as a table of 12. Unfortunately our waitress got our order wrong - understandable, we had no reservation and it was a loud Saturday night. When our food was brought out to us she said she would tell the kitchen to correct it (the correction being five plain boneless wings). After about half an hour we asked our server about the correction to our order and we were told she wasnt allowed to correct the mistake unless we purchased an additional 10 boneless wings for $13.99. Weve never had an experience like this at the Leamington Chucks location. Before today we only had good things to say about Chucks. They must have a new manager. The food here is always great. The prices are fair for what youre given. My only issue, and Ive discussed this with management, is that the bartender is expected to leave their post to wait on tables. Leaving everyone at the bar waiting in my opinion is a big fail.

Located in Leamington... the food was well priced and tasted good.

My husband and I went to this place and the food was spot on. I even called out the manager to let him know how wonderful and well presented everything was. The waitress Melinda was very kind and responsive just a little forgetful. But in all honesty she she was the only wait staff there. I would definitely recommend this place. Thank you for a wonderful meal.

The worst food Ive had in a while. The chicken was chewy, and covered with an oversweet sauce. Staff were efficient and pleasant.

Ordered a ribeye, got served a New York strip. Asked for the manager, he told me it was for sure a ribeye. I asked him if a ribeye steak was supposed to have fat in it, mine had zero fat in it (besides the NY strip of fat on the top). His response was that the type of steak depends on the the thickness of the steal. He obviously doesn t know even the basics of the restaurant he manages (also they had the news on instead of the playoff hockey game) The manager also brought out 2 UNCOOKED steaks to my table and told me to choose which cut was was. He did this with his bare hands! I m completely disgusted by this health code violation and the lack of food safety, this place has horrible management and it shows.

My biggest issue with this place is the prices. For two meals, two drinks, and an app it came to about $60 with normal tip. That is a lot especially for lunch. We didnt even get anything special, no alcohol or steaks, just basic meals. For the food, it was kind of a mix bag. My burger was just ok, it wasnt anything special and was kinda small. My wifes chicken wrap was really good though (she gave me a bite to try). Both meals came with a small amount of fries. The app was again, just alright. The service was fine, could have been better with the refills, but overall no complaints. Im not a fan of the pub style atmosphere, but thats what this is, so cant complain about that. Overall I wont be returning due to the price.

First time visiting this establishment and it wont be the last. They are very willing to help make you comfortable and move tables or chairs around to accommodate your wheelchair. The atmosphere was great and the aisles were more than wide enough to accommodate people in wheelchairs or walkers easily. I would recommend Chucks Roadhouse to visit if youre near them. The food was incredible and the service with being in a wheelchair was way above par. Wheelchair accessibility: Very easy to maneuver around the restaurant.

We were there at least 15 minutes before we even got a waitress, people were sitted after us, they were waited on and got their food before us. I asked for a med well steak and it came med rare I had to send it back. As I was waiting my sides got cold. It got worst I had no steak knife and fork and my daught had ordered the haddock fish and chips. She was able to able the fries but she cant fish without tartar sauce. We sat there trying to get someones attention but it didnt work. So I went to the kitchen and got the stuff we needed. My family and myself werent impress with Leamington Chucks Roadhouse at all!!!!

If I could give less than 1 star I would! Poor service, poor management skills and questionable hygiene. This service and management team both fail exceptionally in the customer service industry! Where a server has a prior personal issue with a patron, refusing to serve is both unprofessional and immature. Chuck s management should be ashamed they handled this situation so poorly, definitely would not recommend Chucks Leamington!!

Our server Taylor was the best. We love chucks and this location is the best. The manager came over to meet us to make sure everything was ok and went beyond to make our experience the best.

Cant sugar coat it, we go to most of the typical 5 star restaurants and its impossible to compare Chucks. I cant give it a 5 star but... There is nowhere else you can get a decent steak dinner for two with decent wine for this darn cheap! Value proposition? It may not feel as fancy as the Keg but wed rather go to Chucks, chucks never got our steaks wrong! Cheap beer too, especially if the Leafs are playing. Speaking of, you can see the game from almost anywhere in there. And their Klondike Crumble is sooo damn good, I wish they sold personal size at the South Windsor location,its too big for even the two of us to finish. (The Leamington location DOES have a personal size, drizzle a shot of Frangelico over it for perfection!). The service is always efficient, kudos to the staff always! My only complaints is the tables with a speaker overhead, annoying...and the lighting OMG blinding. Those bare bulbs are annoying to me and drive my wife to literal headache everytime. We gotta hit and run, no staying for a nightcap! If Chucks had Lonestars lighting, wed visit twice as often Im sure Overall, you cant go wrong at Chucks if you arent looking for fancy!

Good burgers. Not enough staff .

We got there before the lunch rush, got our order taken, drinks and appetizer served. then proceeded to wait an hour and a half for 2 burgers and a steak. We watched people that got there after us get their orders taken and leave in the time it took us to get our food. There was a large party that showed up half an hour after our order was taken that had finished everything before we even got our order. We tried to leave twice but was reassured by staff that it would be out any second. They didn t refill our drinks once or offer any type of compensation for making us wait so long. We showed up at 12:45 and left around 2:30ish. Absolutely absurd. There were no apologies. Never ever going to eat there again.

Absolutely disgusted with this establishment, questioning people with a service dog that had a visible service vest and even when the lady provided the necessary papers they still put up a stink, its illegal to ask for papers first of all and second to put up such a stink where these people were so visibly upset and pissed off they left. I feel so bad for those people and will not be back to this establishment Our server was jordan and he was awesome not one thing bad to say about him, they need more people like him in there.

We used to be regulars but something changed including the cooks attitude. The Assistant Manager wasn t helpful either. We recently ate there for my wife s birthday and ordered an appetizer which came with heated pita bread and a dip. The pita bread was soft and buttery wet which meant you couldn t dip it and upon asking to have the pita replaced, they said that s the way they cook it and they d be charging for more. That s fine, we won t give up on Chucks but we re done with Leamington. Imagine if I said my steak wasn t cooked. I ll drive where Chuck s value their customers.

I had the steak and lobster tail the problem was the lobster tail was the size of a small shrimp very disappointed in the portion for the price

Horrible service by the manager of the restaurant. When we arrived he asked how many and when we said 11 of us, he rolled his eyes and sighed. It wasn t even late (9:40pm) and there weren t many people. My uncle stood up to take pictures and he came and yelled at us and caused a scene. Was this because we were a Mexican family? Because he did not have a problem with the other guests at the restaurant. It upset me knowing that he was the manager. He didn t offer anything to make the situation better. We always spend minimum $200 plus 20% tip. Parking: There s parking on-site.

We hadnt been to Chucks in a very long time. We went on a whim. Im glad we did. Food was fantastic. Kim the bartender/waitress was excellent. We ordered Caesars, our meals and then after we ate we ordered a pint each. THEN the manager turned up the volume on a soccer game so loud we couldnt talk across the table to each other. My husband asked him to turn it down and he replied People have asked me to turn it up. He scoffed. Fast forward to yesterday 10 of us went there for dinner. Again great service and food. I headed from the patio to the restroom and same manager, in front of costumers berating his bartender. I asked his name and he refused to give it to me. My husband asked for his business card. He then asked if our party had paid and when we said Yes he asked us to never come back. We werent going back anyway. Hes very unprofessional. The only way back is with him replaced.

I rate service 5 star. Everything else - Terrible. Food was old and tasted like it had been in the freezer for months. Very gross. Bill was over $130.00 for the 3 of us - Youd think the food would at least be ok. I was sick the next day, my money is on this. Everything was covered in BBQ sauce, I think it was to cover the smell and taste of the food. I cant believe I ate any of it! Please avoid - Especially if youre passing through town, you may get sick on your trip and thats the worst.

Most locations are great, but theres a lot wrong with this one. It seems to be poorly managed. Our dishes piled up on our table. Asked the bus girl to take some and got attitude. My glasses of beer had someones lipstick still on it. Server stunk like BO so bad my nose was burning. The food wasnt terrible, though. The supervisor was kind and apologized, but it didnt really rectify the experience. Wont ever go back to this location.

This was the worst meal Ive had in a very long time. I ordered a T-Bone steak dinner. I was able to super chew about 10 bites. The remainder was grisly and greasy. There was no filet, and I was told that how they come when they order them when I inquired. For $25 plus a very laughable AAA beef charge, save your money. My husbands dinner was also terrible and didnt even come with a veggie. We will not be back, and this establishment will never be recommended by either of us.

Absolute sleeper of a place for wings. They top shelf, out in 5 minutes and $12 for 16 of them after 9pm, 7 days a week is a great deal. Servers were hustling and on the ball. Always wondered why this place is packed when I drove by. Now I know.

If your waitress doesnt like her job and just wants to talk in the kitchen maybe she needs to find something that makes her happy. 1.5 hours for half cooked meals, cold fries, no condiments (had to ask for ketchup and mustard). Dont waste your money go elsewhere.

We had Morgan as our server tonight and she was fantastic. Knowledgeable, personable and checked in a couple times but wasnt intrusive. The food was good and the drinks were really reasonably priced. We had a great time!

Not impressed at all. Normally go to the Windsor chucks and they are awesome, but thought I d come local. I was there for 2 hours total. Took waitress 15 minutes just to ask us if we are ready for our order to be taken. Then waited another 45 mins just to get our food. I asked for a medium rare steak and got super rare, also forgot my sour cream which then I waited another 5 minutes just for her to come by and ask. Then 10 mins for the bill. Still then also had to pay full price. Not impressed with the food nor customer service at leamington location. Will not be going back

First time here, what a great place! We sat at the bar, and had the double Chuck burger, delicious, cooked just right.....OV beer was fresh and cold. Kim was the bartender and looked after us great. She was so full of energy and life, great server!

The bartenders and servers are very attentive. Clean bathrooms, good ambiance and an outside eating patio. The steak bites are excellent, especially with added mushrooms. Burgers are good. They serve a side of Chucks Road House BBQ sauce and it enhances any meat order.

Fish and chips without coleslaw, most other dishes without a vegetable side dish make the meal seem incomplete. My fish was overcooked, my partners chicken was tough, and our guests ribs were the smallest I have ever seen. But no vegetables and a schrug from our waitress when asked. She, by the way, did a good job of trying to keep up to servicing her diners but, in the end, fell way behind.

I love this place, I really like coming to dinner with my family and friends, I come to this place at least once a week, but the last 3 weeks that I have come to the place the attention of the staff has been very bad, it takes a long time to arrive everything, besides, food, the staff also takes a long time to take your order, the food is no longer very good nor do the drinks have a bad presentation and flavor, I want to continue arriving at the place every week

I ordered a medium rare porterhouse, got medium well. No big deal right? The restaurant will replace it. Well not in this case. The manager Fayaz offered me a free desert which I waved. When he finally came to the table he accused me of eating most of the steak I admit I had a few bites but I was nibbling, I mean what else are you going to do when it takes 30 minutes to log a complaint. The worst part was the interaction with the manager and while I got them to remake my stake eventually, I would not recommend the back and forth push that I experienced just to get tge order right. In the end we had a party of 5 and ended up spending upwards of $250. And we were treated poorly because we spoke up about the steak. My recomendation : steer clear. You have much better options in this area.

Popped in last night for a quick dinner. It was quite busy for a Tuesday evening but we were seated right away and drinks were quickly served. We ordered an appetizer, burger with onion rings and a two piece fish and chip dinner. Appetizer was decent for two people - 7 pieces of shrimp with a spicy sauce on the side. My dinner companion enjoyed his burger and onion rings. My fish was good, but should have ordered only one piece as these are good sized portions! Wait staff was attentive and service excellent!

1st and last time eating here. Ive ate at Windsor location several times. Never a bad meal or bad service. Here your served with an attitude until it comes time to pay bill then she wants a bigger tip so she warms up to you. Never I my life have I ever been brought the bill and machine to pay in the middle of eating our food and to stand there waiting for me to pay while Im eating. Weird. I also hate going to a restaurant and paying $60 for me and my son to eat and we both leave still hungry. I literally had maybe 10 french fries on my plate, you will see by picture I post. The gravy was like eating a blood clot, cold and chunky. My sons fish was over cooked and very greasy although he did get a good portion of fries. When I spoke to manager about small portion size I was told every costumer get 8oz of fries. I said oh you weight the fries, he says yes, I said well if my plate has 8oz of fries then my son plate has 24oz of fries. I was then told you can always order a side of fries. Im not ordering a side of fries when my plate is $20 for a burger with fries. Come on management, fries are your filler not the appetizer. Everyone knows that. I even mention to manager about my experiences at the windsor location compared to here. Hes says same franchise different owners, different run restaurants. Well they should take lessons from windsor restaurant in food preparation, waiting staff friendliness. I dont reccomend this chucks location in leamington at all and I will drive to chucks in Windsor next time. Oh did I mention yet that leamington chucks does not serve or have coleslaw. Unheard of. Windsor has coleslaw. Also 1 more thing. They should clean the high chairs after previous kids use. The high chair was disgusting and full of many previous kids foods, gross. The reason the burger is been eatin is because that is how long it took manager to come to table to see the portion size. The fries were not touched yet.

Wed invited a family that had just helped us recover from flood damage and repairs in Kingsville. This restaurant had something for everyone, including my wife with multi allergies. The young lady handling a rowdy hungry group brought everybody a great meal, and didnt get one order wrong. Thanks, Chucks, so much for helping us get together after a rough time. Well be back... Dietary restrictions: Wait staff not afraid to check with kitchen to ensure allergy restrictions handled with ease. Offered work arounds to ensure we all enjoyed dinner. Cant say that about several others in the area!

Went to Chuck sin Leamington had a piece of quesadilla, 2 wings, a couple of loaded fries and a couple of nachos with beef, horrible diarrhea and still up with cramps, twisting and turning :( all night not sure if I should go to hospital

Went there with my dad yesterday. Absolutely horrible service. We stood there for 10 minutes waiting to be seated. They saw us standing at the door but ignored us. Finally when we where seated it took forever because our waitress was flirting with some guy near the bathroom. She finally took the order we ordered apps, and mushrooms for the steak. Well only our main course came out no apps or mushrooms. This will be the last time we will be coming here.

Pros - food was warm and cooked. Cons - 18% forced tip on a party of 12 Waitress never checked on table Waitress never offered refills Waitress got orders wrong serval times Waitress told us the restaurant was out of ketchup Split bills for each couple wrong stuff on wrong bills I normally tip, but I wouldnt have tipped her. Wont be back. Wait staff did a horrible job known they would be tipped regaurdless. Emailed the Chucks account that messaged me on Google 0 reply

Great food but im extremely unimpressed with our waitress. After paying our bill with cash we were asked if we wanted change and when said yes ill take $5 back our waitress then pulled up on the machine what an 18% tip should be and proceeded to ask do you still want the 5 back and actually pressured us into tipping more then what we wanted to. I have worked in the service industry a long time and learned that tips are deserved. You don t question what you are being tipped or even assume you are being tipped. It was extremely disrespectful and inappropriate. Morgan was her name. Be better.

Server appreciation post. Morgan makes my night whenever shes working. She is one of the biggest reasons Sunday night is my favorite night to go to Chucks. I appreciate her conversation and smiles, as well as her competence. Thanks for being amazing Morgan. 1

Great dinner spot. Sarah our server was very friendly and helpful with the menu. Good value too.

KATIE. thank you for the wonderful accommodation. You certainly have me and my husband excellent customer service even though we were the last persons to dine in. Everything was delicious! The chicken wings, spanish dip and nachos, mmmmm we enjoyed the food very much. Yum!
