First time eating in at this location. Service was great, listened to what we wanted and got our order correct. Ordered the chicken sandwich and a double chicken with fries. Everything came out hot, with sauces and tons of fries! Very delicious. We will return again

I see I’m not the only one who comes to Swiss chalet in Leamington only to be told they ran out of chicken! My husband and I came in last night to dine in to purchase the chicken festival meal deal (which is advertised by huge sign as you walk in front door), only to be told they didn’t have any white meat chicken. We decided to leave. This location is so poorly run. We have given it so many chances only to be disappointed again. I guess we will have to experience Swiss Chalet in Windsor and Tecumseh in the future.
Never get my order correct here. Again, just now I ordered 2 festive meals. Was told I’m wrong about the side choices only to self correct herself. Long wait time for food, missing food items, missing drinks, will not be going back again. Had enough. Prices are too high for this kind of service. Not impressed.
Great Place for the Chicken Dinner before shopping in Leamington
Went to pick up a big order and the staff was friendly. I already know the food is good. Every time I’ve come here it’s delicious. Only problem was that they ran out of food we wanted when we ordered in advance and when we went to pick it up they were out so we had to wait an additional 15 minutes when we had to be at a dinner. Suggestion: call the customer ahead of time to let them know of the problem 😃
We had a wonderful experience eating here. Lisa who took our order and made our food was so kind, and the food was fresh and made to order. I would highly recommend this restaurant. We had the quarter chicken and the wrap from swiss chalet and the burger and chicken fingers from Harvey's. Everybody said there food was exceptional! Great service and very friendly kind staff.
I have had much better times with the Harvey's attached, but the Swiss Chalet has had a lot of problems. My most recent visit is what motivated me to write this review. First of all I placed my order an hour before picking it up. I showed up 5 minutes before pickup, and waited in line to report my pickup. There was one person a head of me, and spoiler, that person along with another and some people who were seated, all got their orders before me. It took 30 minutes for me to receive my order, about 25 minutes pass my pickup time. My family was waiting in the car too, since this was supposed to be a quick stop on the way home. What is worse is that my order was wrong with some sides being the wrong thing, and a missing item. This isn't the first time I had issues along these lines too. Picture attached is what you get for $50 and an hour and 25 minutes. Update: The restaurant addressed my concerns and provided compensation.

The Triple Pickle Poutine is Ultra Fantastic!! This is my 2nd one this week and I love it!! We come here often and like the quarter chicken also.
Decent food, friendly helpful staff. They didnt have a lot of the items on the menu which was a little frustrating. The chalet sauce is still amazing! The last couple times they didnt include the chalet sauce even after I confirmed it was in the box before leaving. Their quality control is definitely lacking.

This is one of the worst eating experiences.Ive ever had in my whole life I rather eat a burnt tire I got a double Bacon cheese burger and it tasted like a grilled burger but if you put it straight into the coles it was very burnt the frys were cold yet dry and after all this my mom and dad waited for 30 min just for burnt chicken and the most mid ribs ever the frys also the same and there coleslaw being moldy the chicken some how looking wet but dry will make you run to the bathroom which are not clean and I was scared to go in there. My mother when stepping out side and coming back to her food said And I quote I have lost my appetite will never come back here ever if you The only reason we came here in the first place was because we had coupons and they didnt let us use them the end .
SHUT IT DOWN!! This location is horrible! I ve ordered through food delivery service 3 times, and every time the wait far exceeds the given time frame and items from my orders are ALWAYS missing. Last night was my final order from here. Part of my order was a chicken on a bun . Now usually this sandwich is just packed full of chicken, but last night they barely put any chicken in the sandwich. The top of the bun was literally touching the bottom of the bun because there was almost no chicken. In addition, they never give the Chalet sauce that is supposed to be included with the sandwich. As my side, I ordered mashed potatoes with gravy. Wouldn t you know it, they didn t send the gravy. No Chalet Sauce, no gravy and barely any chicken on the sandwich. To be fair, I know mistakes happen, which is why I kept giving them a chance. But each time, it s just gotten worse. I honestly feel that this location should be shut down. They don t care about their quality or accuracy. They don t care about the money a customer spends on their food (and ensuring a customer actually gets their items). They don t care at all about the customer s experience and they quite clearly don t care about their reputation. In response to one of the other reviews for this location, Swiss Chalet said, this is not how we do things. Read the reviews, this clearly IS HOW YOU DO THINGS. Absolutely shameful.

I have been there a couple of times before and visited yesterday as well. All the food is really good. All the staff are managed well. I met their supervisor Rohit there. He is a nice person and provides excellent service,Keeps everything well. Keep it up Kid-friendliness: I had a toddler with me when I went there for lunch and was crying . Rohit helped me to make him calm and a happy kid. We enjoyed our food after that. Thanks to Rohit for amazing service.

My server Farzy was lovely! One of the most personable and funny people I ve ever met! She is very polite and extremely professional! The service was outstanding and the quality of the food was excellent, but I feel Farzy made my evening to be honest! I can t recommend the Heartland branch enough and when here make sure to look for Farzy!
50 plus dollars for dinner and the food is cold. Fries are frozen... and you are swarmed by fruit fly.... gross... wont be back

I would give a zero for food and service if I could. Checked online for hours before stopping in. Arrived at 7:30 and told they were out of chicken and closing in 30 minutes (online stated holiday hours 9pm) My daughter ordered for herself and hungry 2 year old...rib dinner, dry and almost no sauce visible, cold fries. Was butter on the plate but no bun. She didnt realize a drink wasnt included and wasnt ask if she would like to order one. My Harveys order was good, was brought to the table 10 minutes before closing. We ended up sharing my drink and taking some items with us as we werent finished.

This place will never give you scene points for Swiss Chalet even if you eat inside from the Swiss Chalet menu . Shame on everybody working there from ripping people off. Here is what the Scene point wrote. While the purchases that you made where off the swiss chalet menu the location that you were visiting was a Harveys in order to receive the additional 200 points for any purchase over 30 dollars you would need to be visiting a Swiss Chalet location, otherwise you will only earn the standard points of 1 point for every three dollars spent minus any taxes or gratuity. I am very much of thinking not to eat here any more. Here is the response from the manager Good evening Mr. Flettmar I just received your email that you sent off to Head Office regarding your Scene Points as well as read your Google review. I can assure you that nobody in my store is ripping people off of their Scene points. They are a third party and we have zero control over how the system works. Visited this establishment for the first time (the one in our hometown closed) was impressed on the service, the politeness, the quick service and how good n hot the food was. Will be back.
We went here on Tuesday for lunch. The food was delicious and plentiful. The food was served hot and quickly. The staff was polite and the restaurant clean. We miss Swiss chalet at home so really enjoyed it here.

This place used to be clean and does serves good food.. Dirty tables, left hanging at the counter for Service, no menu offered, Wow get some serious health department in here its bad, So Sunday October 1st 2023 , we decided to go back in for Some Harvey burgers and frings , Food was OK, but this place is disgusting, I will call the health department , could hardly see through the windows, tables where not wiped , window sills where dirty , the floor was sticky , I understand because they are understaffed, the franchisees should be over there and taking care of the problem ,Clean it or close it , its disgusting ,if still like this the next time , if there is a next time ? If I could register a Zero rating I would. Filthy at 2:00 PM on a Saturday. Tried to order a Rib Combo... No chicken. Ribs were so dry, they were not edible. It took forever to receive the order. Pointed out a puddle on the floor - never cleaned it up. Talked to the alleged manager and he was oblivious to my concerns. Never finished the meal. This should be closed, sanitized and a new franchisee put in place.
Cold baked potato and dressing, butter as hard as a rock and chicken pieces were VERY small AND so MANY flies in the restaurant!!

ordered 100 bucks worth of food .All of it was no good especially the fatty, slimy rib meals I got. Called and ask to speak to a manager , the girl who answered claimed to be manager, but then told me I had to call back the next day to speak to a manager ,when I stated my complaint and that I wanted a refund on just he rib meals,.When truly a refund for the whole order would be appropriate,due to the lack of quality .
Gross food. Paid $50 for 2 pathetic sandwiches which had dry chicken in it, gravy was gross and store bought whole wheat bread on top lol. Never eating here again that s for sure.
The only thing worse than terrible service once, is it happen twice! The General Manager was asked to follow up with me 2 weeks ago, that still has not happened. When I picked up my familys take out meal, the Swiss Chalet sauce was missing. The most important thing is the sause, that is why I went. I called the store directly and spoke with a man who informed me that he is very sorry and would take my name and number to ensure the next time I go there will be a $15 credit for the mistake. I thanked his and a few days later I went back. When I gave my information I was told it could not be found in the book. I informed the woman of what happened and asked if she could please contact her manager to resolve it as this was there chance to make it right after the first mistake. I was told that the manager said if it not in the book she doesnt believe that it happened. I was appalled that I would be inconvenienced again and made to feel like I was lying about 15$. I cannot believe the manager did not fix it on the spot. I then asked for the General Manager to take my information again and call me so I could provide feedback and resolve the terrible experience twice. They have yet to call, it is clear to me that the reason why the staff pretend to make things right is because they know the General Manager will not follow up and they will get away with providing a poor experience. They have no problem leaving things that are paid for out of the order, lying about fixing it and making you feel like a loser because you are asking for the 15$ credit they offered for a mistake they made. It is clear that the leadership in the store who I think is the owner has no care for the customer and is the reason the staff dont care about what happens to the customer. Terrible experience over all twice!!!

I ordered progies and a side garden salad. When my food came to my table i only had plastic utensil to use. Then took my ranch dressing and begin to put it on my salad, noticed it didnt look right so looked at the expiration date and it happened to be expired back in july this year. So i nicely asked for a new salad. Then i get the new salad with new dressing and right away i look at the date on the dressing and this time it was expired sep of 2021. So i went back up and asked for a refund for my salad cause at this point i was turned right off. Couldnt trust any of it. As we ate we watched all the employees doing there job. Such a horrible place to go. Such a waste of money.

I ordered online and went to the drive-through window to pick it up. After i paid the order I was expecting to see my food bag however, the window was immediately shut as if the deal was done. Thought they might forgot my meal so I said ..my food? , which met with a load shouting will give it to you!!! and the window was shut again. Returning to my hotel I found the drink and side dish were missing from the pack. Went back to pick them up but met with a stone-faced staff at the window. I felt I was not welcome there.

Got Sick! The 1/2 chicken dinner (incl. baked potato) plus add-on garlic green beans seemed wonderful but about 6 hours later in the middle of the night I had to give it back via both ends to the toilet as I had incredible cramps and an upset stomach. That having happened, I felt much relieved and have had no further issues feeling 100% good the next morning except for losing a couple hours of sleep. I had no symptoms of any ailment before or shortly after eating. The food seemed good, was hot, and I was happy, to have eaten it, for the short while. Moreover, the current Swiss Chalet advertised special of chicken with shrimp was not available because they were out of shrimp! It will be a long time before I dare buy anything again at this Leamington Harveys/Swiss Chalet location! Update, now several months later have given this S.C. another chance and we went in to dine given the lift of restrictions. The place was very clean, safe, and comfortable. I have upgraded my rating to 4 stars from two. The Festive chicken dinner was awesome including the mashed potatoes and pumpkin pie. The only issues were of perhaps being low in staff and maxed out as several minor items were not provided with the dinners - no rolls, no dressing for the salad, condiments, but were provided as discovered. Did not order the garlic green beans this time just in case!!!! LOL
Just came through drive through and ordered from swiss chalet then ordered a small side salad and she charged me 6.00 and told me because I ordered swiss chalet I cant order Harveys ... brings out salad and its the same size as Harveys side salad ... what a rip off. Rude customer service and not only rude but they never have food ready always have to park and wait ... changing to another place to buy my chicken ... they can go under like the last one in Leamington as far as Im concerned.
$$$, tasteless, smaller portions, I have seen bigger sparrows, bun hides the so called beef ,fries undercooked, dont even go to the drive thru and if you do check the order before you leave.

Hours are posted on the drive thru until 8 but it was 7:49 and an automatic message came on that they re closed. I drove all the way from Harrow for nothing. Any other establishment usually sticks to their hours.
Generally the Swiss is consistent with the quality of their food lines, however this time, this location served us fatty ribs. I will not order them again here. The white chicken breast was small and shriveled up. The spring rolls were so over done I threw them out.

Swiss Chalet has nice seating for families, Family Pack BBQ chicken pack for 4 adults is great value. 4 side dishes to choose, we usually take 2 Cesar salads, baked potato and sour cream and 1 fries. Free cups for water, they use paper straws now, right on. Family filled up for $29 plus tax. Great.
One in Windsor is better one Windsor I will give it 5 star this one

Got take out. Chicken was not cooked and cold.Skin was hardly cooked. Had to throw out half of the drumstick as it was awful and still pink inside. Perhaps you should cook your chicken longer. 46 dollars for a very bad meal.
We ordered 2 Angus cheese burgers. The buns were stale and the burgers were cold too lukewarm at best. Cheese didn t melt from the heat from the burger. Used to be one of our favourite spots to grab a quick lunch or dinner. I think not anymore.

Not good at all. Figured out why it wasnt busy during the lunch hour! Customer service is poor. Food was terrible. Fries were cold. They couldnt give us an order of spring rolls for some reason (after we ordered and paid). Very strange location. Better off going to London or Windsor. Why oh why do I give these small towns a chance?
