Thirteen at the Inn is a casual finer dining restaurant, lounge and bar.
We were a large group of boaters in for a few nights. The waitress handled the group well. I had the salad with the honey vinaigrette and blue cheese. It was outstanding. Wonder if you would share that recipe?
Thirteen at the inn is a rare true gem. The food is delectable, the atmosphere is cozy & inviting and the staff is incredibly attentive. Not to mention the drinks were top notch. We had our wedding there we love it so much. -Everything was flawless! I have no doubt in my mind that this is a perfect restaurant for a tasty dinner, a small gathering or an event. You will not be disappointed. Thank you to all of the team at Thirteen you always make us feel right at home. :)
UPDATE: We went back last night Feb 2, 2024) and had another amazing meal! The best oysters I’ve ever had. This place is a must if you are looking for something special. Thanks to Karen and her staff!!! I had the privilege of celebrating a dear friend's 70th birthday at Thirteen at the Inn in Leamington, and it was an exceptional experience. The food surpassed all expectations, showcasing a delightful blend of flavors. The atmosphere was beautiful, radiating warmth and inviting charm. The staff was not only incredibly attentive but also added a fun and professional touch to the evening. Thirteen at the Inn is truly a gem, and it has quickly become our new favorite place. Highly recommend for any special occasion or a memorable dining experience.
That was some seriously overpriced not-so-great food. I have no idea what the salmon was but it did not taste at all like salmon The salad was ridiculously priced for what amounted to a side salad I was left hungry by the size of the salmon portion so I ordered the chicken noodle soup which was delicious and was homemade It was also $12 Beer taps were not operating either. I mean for the prices we paid we expected 4-5 star quality. This was not even close.
We ate outside on the patio, overlooking the water. We had delicious fresh pickerel and asparagus, with a nice wine. The caesar salad and bread were particularly good. The atmosphere was lovely and the service was friendly and attentive. It's a bit expensive, but I'm guessing rent for businesses in that location is very high. We thought it was worth it. We'd go back there for sure.
Thirteen at the Imn is a complete surprise. When you walk downstairs from. The Seacliff Inn, you hear the voice in your head saying, "Don't go here. This is where the character gets murdered in every horror movie!' Then you open the door to one of the most surprisingly lovely places you've eaten. The menu has great choices, the atmosphere is beautiful, and the serving team is super lovely. Leamington is the tomato capital of Canada, and it shows in the salad. As Eve Aranoff says, "A tomato really needs to taste like a tomato!" Go, just go.
We ate inside and the entire place decorated in white which makes it bright. We sat at the bar and service was ok. I ordered a 6 oz glass of wine and a glass of cranberry with ice that I was going to mix together with the wine. The Cabernet was good quality. She charged me for the ice and cranberry which brought the price up even higher.
The food was outstanding and our server was very friendly and went above and beyond. Excellent homemade desserts! It is conveniently located to the municipal marina where we were staying for the weekend. We ate there 2 nights in a row. We had same server both nights. We were a party of 6. All food came out about the same time, hot and delicious.
Great atmosphere. Great food. Had the inn salad and chicken sandwich
A great place for a night/meal out. Only withhold a star because we all need room for improvement or growth
Our attentive server Olivia, gave us exceptional service! The patio was a great find with a view of Lake Erie. Our food met every expectation. The perch and pickerel were delicious.
Failed experience . I ordered the local fish from the area which was cold, not well seasoned and no taste. The prices are exorbitant for such dishes.
Great vibe. Nice inside. Didnt eat anything but the food looked good. Drink options are nice and varied. Service was a little slow however they were slammed when we arrived
One of my favourite places to dine. Karen and her staff are so friendly and knowledgeable about their menu. They often have live music (posted on their Facebook page). Always a great experience dining here.
Food and service were excellent
This place offers a fine dining $$$$ menu in a not so fine dining environment. The service was worse than terrible. Very little attention from the wait staff. The food was ordered and took over an hour to be served. When addressed, The staff was Unapologetic and we were asked why we were in such a rush. We were not. We were hungry and did not think it was OK, at any restaurant, and especially at these prices, to wait over an hour to be served two main dishes. We were not treated like valued customers.
Found this excellent seafood restaurant by the pier in Leamington. Fresh oysters, in house baked bread, ahi, special pasta, and 2 different desserts of cake chocolate ice cream over waffle. Fantastic tastes with Torre Del Vescovi prosecco! My wife and I had the most friendly service on the patio overlooking the marina, harbor, and pier. We will return soon!
Great place Love the prime rib
Absolutely unexpected good and classy place in a beautiful set up and nice ambiance.. dinner was superb.. wine selection really good..
Sorry but we went last night, Friday, for a beer and something to eat. We love their outdoor patio and the wait staff. However, the outdoor patio is NOT fine dining. The only menu available was fine dining, bugers were not available and the prices ranged from $22 meatless pasta -to $50+. One of my favourite places was a disappointment last night.
Whats not to like?! Excellent food, service and comfortable and attractive. Their wine suggestions are great. Draught beer selection is limited to a half dozen excellent choices. If you are visiting by boat, this is walkable...its in the Seacliffe Inn. Enjoy!
The patio atmosphere is great but we ended up with someones gum stuck to the inside of our pitcher of Sea dogs.
I stayed at the hotel and decided to visit the restaurant for a drink. The first night both employees walked right past me more than once, before even speaking to me. My first thought was maybe the place is too busy, that happens. I used to be a waitress. So finally my drink order was taken, and decided to try again the next night. This time 3 employees walked past me, and didnt speak to me at all. That night, I even witnessed a waitress walk past my table and greet other customers who entered the doors after me. I was beyond upset. Plenty of employees saw me, but no one spoke. I left after that.
Food was delicious and service was great. Overlooking the pier, dont let the lower entrance fool you.
Calamari and Escargot were excellent....loved the lamb, mushroom pasta and salmon entrees, wine selection is quite nice and Margarets Mirabelle cake dessert was magnificent....keep up the good work Karen....
Lovely patio!
Don t let the lower entrance stop you. The restaurant is beautifully appointed. The service is excellent. The stuffed chicken, vegetables and rice were cooked to perfection. It is a wonderful dining experience.
