food was really good always got it on time

I ve been there several times and the food is good. The place itself is nothing special, but the owners are really nice.

We stopped by for an early dinner and so were the only people in the restaurant. Staff were delightful and food was great.

Their vegetable Tom Yum soup with a side of jasmine rice hits the spot every time. Whenever I m feeling a little under the weather, I ask a loved one to go pick some up for me lol. It s so warm and full of flavour, and soothing. Highly recommend

Im not sure why I never remember to eat here. The food is absolutely amazing. Leamingtons hidden jem for sure.

The pho, curry, papaya salad and pad thai are all fantastic here. Great service and fast. Reasonable prices for the serving sizes.

Amazing spring rolls and sauce, just amazing!!

We have been eating here for years. The food is very authentic and is fantastic. You can get no spice to very spicy and everything in between. The Pad Thai is awesome as is the Chicken and cashew. Spring rolls are always on point!

The Pad Thai is amazing, very authentic. Taste better than my mom and aunts.

My go-to restaurant in Leamington, really recommend their pad thai and tom yum soup. Owners are also friendly and accommodating, cant wait to stop in this week!

Excellent Pad Thai!

It was alright. Better than the first time I went them about 10 years ago.

We order pad thai from here often. My grandson loves the tofu (I dont mind it either) and we get the chicken often and shrimp (wish there was more of those swimmers in there but for the price its just right!) Owner is extremely accommodating as we all like different heat levels and have a lot of specific requests. We have never had a bad meal from here. The spring rolls are delicious and everything is fresh and hot. We usually do take out but I have dined in once..possibly twice. Service is always good and owner is very attentive. I definitely recommend giving them a try! Only complaint is I want pad thai today and you are closed lol but that is just a me problem! Probably see you tomorrow though!

Nice options for dinner

We were not impressed with the portion sizes, the curry was very soup like and the pad Thai did not seem authentic. With our take out order, it all leaked in our bag and it might have been too much liquid in my curry dish.

Ordered red shrimp curry, but got a chicken watery soup instead. Terrible experience and a waste of money.

If I could give 0 stars I would. This was some of the worst food I have ever eaten in my life. A lot of the components were raw...the pad thai you see was basically just noodles with a few pieces of raw brocilli. I paid $3 more to get shrimp instead of the other proteins and was given 3 small pieces of boiled shrimp. The food is way over priced for the quality and the amount of protein you get and Roy is ripping his customers off with this. Avoid this place at all costs because this is not thai food.

The food is fantastic and you could feel the care that was put into preparing the meal! I would definitely recommend the Pad Seew - one of my favourite dishes! The only complaint I would have is the price.

Ive ordered food here several times and always gotten a good meal. You wont find chicken balls here. Instead you will find Asian food that is spicy and delicious on the tummy.

Flavourless curry all around, but stay away from the rice dishes. Ingredients would have been unacceptable in a high school cafeteria in an impoverished school districts. As others noted, soupy to the point of water, even the usually thicker penang curry--which had never seen a peanut. At least the noodles soaked up some of the flavorless glop. Dining room was dreary and greasy feeling. Sorry to be negative but I was really looking forward to Thai food. Im also not impressed by the snotty defensive comments added by the owner, accusing posters of lying. I have no reason to defame you, I just wanted a decent meal. True, when I pay this much I dont expect to have to work to phone you with my concerns. Your comments are downright misogynistic as well as evasive.. Truth be told, the food was disgusting. I had the fried chicken with cashew nuts on steamed rice. It was so full of well balanced flavours and the veggies were still nice and crunchy. It was made very quickly and the service was professional and kind. It was a great experience and I would recommend this to any friend. Yum yum yum. Thank you! I took up Roy Thais offer to give them a second chance and things were much improved. The fresh spring rolls were improved by the much thickened peanut sauce. The pad Thai was fine and I truly enjoyed the Pad Kee Mao and would recommend that dish. However I still did not enjoy the Red Curry because it is mostly a watery broth. I would eat here again.

Ordered the Pad Thai. The taste is ok, likely the only Thai restaurant in town, so do not expect too much. Better then nothing.

First time here, ordered Dinner for 2 #2. Was more than enough food, very tasty, and definitely will be back!

First time trying Roy Thai in Leamington and it was good, no great but that may have just been the item that I ordered. The Lad Nar really lacked flavour, I added some extra spice and peanut sauce to the broth to make it taste a bit better which helped but it was still underwhelming. One of the reasons why I didnt give this place a 4 star is because I ordered the item with tofu but found a piece of chicken in it! (while Im not a vegetarian, this could have been an issue if I was). The service was very friendly so I will return again to try something else that usually has more flavour like green curry or pad thai. Stay tuned for another review once I go back :)

Worst Thai food in my life. Thai fried rice quantity not enough for one person. Curry is extremely watery. Asked for spicy all food was sweet with chilli flakes.

Chicken padthai is good, wish it came with more beansprouts tho! I was charged $1 for extra peanuts but they didnt even give me extra.. considering there was no peanuts on it /: but that wouldnt stop me from ordering it again- I ll just make sure i check before i leave..

If you want food made fresh and whole-heartedly, this is the place to go! Large portions at a great price. The pad Thai is amazing! Noodles are perfectly cooked. The flavour is 100% there. Favorite place to go in all of Essex county for Pad Thai. Soup is amazing too. Amazing food in general! Its also run by super nice, friendly staff which is a bonus!

great food but the service is very unprofessional, went in for lunch with my sister he put our order in wrong then when we told him he said well this ones already made and when we still asked for it to be changed to our CORRECT order he said we have to wait for him to help the other customers who came AFTER US

Loved it! My daughter and i went for friday night dinner and it was great! spicy big noodle and the pad see ew was cheap and delicious.The owner is very nice as well. We will go back many more times.

Its a local treasure. Their pad Thai is my comfort food.

Rudimentary little place. Food is well prepared, hot and fresh. Good flavours_basic. Id prefer if 1rst serving of rice was included but its not (additional charge). I find most of the things come at an additional charge. Expect to pay about $20/pp

Amazing food!!

They were incredibly accommodating. Im a vegan with a ton of food allergies and they very carefully prepared my food (basil eggplant) which I enjoyed. Its hard to find good vegan food on a road trip, so Im very glad we stumbled upon Roy Thai!

So quiet it gave us pause upon entering but the food was really excellent. Highly recommended!
