Dickey's Barbecue Pit in Leduc

It started of just meh, and ended disappointed. Got the 3 meat plate with brisket (3/5), sausage (4/5) and burnt ends (0/5). Flavor on the burnt ends was just ok at best but was certainly not what should be called a burnt end (at best, it was overcooked brisket cubed up). Also had the Mac and cheese (4/5) and jalapeño beans (3/5). Disappointment came when I looked at the bill. No up-charges were mentioned or written anywhere so be warned, you pay more for the burnt ends (again, no indication of this) and for the bbq sauce.

Fantastic food. The gentleman at the counter welcomed us warmly and explained the different meals and items they had. He was so friendly and patient! I highly recommend this place if you like bbq. I had the 2 meat plate with chicken, burnt ends, mashed potatoes, and onion tangles. Literally all of them were delicious. My wife had the brisket poutine and loved it so much. The only warning I have is the price. Its comparable to going to a restaurant for a meal. I would still highly recommend you check it out!

We arrived right before close, thinking they were open until 9 but they closed at 8 this day. We were welcomed in with open arms and they provided excellent service. We enjoyed the food as well. I will likely come back at some point for sure.

Watch where your money goes at this location. Seems Im not the only person who has experienced strange inexplicable charges. (And a lack of proper receipt.) I dont know how I paid a total of 45$ for a 22$ combo, and a turkey sandwich with a Mac and cheese. No drink. The website says my sandwich and side would have been about 12$. They claimed this was a mistake on their app, but even looking at their in-store menu, theres a few dollars unaccounted for. Quick to offer an in store discount, but I think Ill pass and steer well clear of this place. Get your prices right folks. Not cool. Response: According to the owners response, I should have paid 9.99 for the classic turkey. Make it a combo for 4.99, then add an extra 3$ to upgrade my side to a Mac and cheese. (Yikes.) Thats 17.98. My partner ordered the 21.99 combo. With tax thats 41.96. My total came to over 45$. I know its not a huge difference in cash but between being told online that my order would be 12$ with any side, period, to going to 17$ in-store, and then a few other extra dollars unaccounted for, I feel people should watch their cash in this establishment. Too easy to spend more than expected with these upgrades and digital oopsies. Im also not the first review to mention these issues. Ps. You didnt speak to me on the phone or in person. That was my partner. And he did take the one cup given, for the one combo we actually ordered. I didnt order a combo. Just the sandwich and mac and cheese. Good day.

I have always wanted to try this place. Always wanted to stop in. Today marked the day I walked. Very friendly. This isn t just a burger place. It s the best burger you ll ever have. Very good with portions. The food is fantastic. A must stop! Parking: Number of parking spots. Very large parking area. Should never have a problem Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly. Very wide open sitting area. Comfortable. Your kids will love this place. Wheelchair accessibility: Multiple wheel chair ramps near by. Double wide doors for accessibility.

Aside from the benches being uncomfortable to sit in, we have no complaints. The service was fast and friendly, the food was hot and delicious and the price was reasonable. I would definitely eat here again.

Great bbq spot, would recommend the platter you ll get to taste a bunch of different meats. Big yellow cup is a nice touch.

First off I wish I could give this a better review because the staff were extremely friendly I got the 3 meat platter and got chicken brisket and sausage, the food was good except for the sausage but only luke warm at best and for 30 dollars I felt like there should of been way more meat. My girlfriend and grandma got the brisket sandwich, both were really good despite being luke warm. The fries were delicious, mac and cheese was mediocre at best, it tasted like kraft dinner. All in all I would come here again for the sandwiches but stay clear of the meat platters as I feel they werent worth the cost.

First time here and it was great! The service was top notch. We had our 7 month old with us and they even played some children songs to keep him busy while we ate!

I would give 5 stars but for some reason my 3 meat plate 29.99, a large Cesar salad 5.99 and a drink came to $50.38 unless that drink was $10 something is wrong but I learned to get my receipt next time to look it over

Food was amazing! Service was amazing. Price a bit steep but honestly for the taste of the food it was worth it.

Apologies because I have no pictures to back my review up. The meal was so tasty that I forgot to take pictures. My kids are picky eater yet gobbled up the meal in no time. We got the two meat plate and giant baker with meat. Every bite was perfection. Food didnt make it home, we ate it all in the parking lot, I had to go back in to thank the guys behind the yumminess. I drove all the way from West Edmonton for this, the drive was worth it. I know for sure I will be back, I will try remember to take pictures next time.

Stopped in for a late lunch with my crew, we ordered the 2 meat meal ( chicken and brisket) burnt end sandwich and chicken wings. Greeted instantly by the friendliest manager, food was amazing - meat cooked to perfection flavors were spot on. Restaurant and washrooms were clean and welcoming. Definitely hit the spot ! The crew and I will be going back.

Honestly, I came almost daily for lunch here, they never fail. Today, I tried Burnt End Plate, Sides: HandCut Fries & Mac n Cheese OMG, Heavenly Taste. There GIANT LOADED BAKED POTATO with Chopped Brisket is my favorite as well with ONION TANGLERS(Crispy, Chewier MAN) Best Owner+Manager and Staff are amazing . Best Spot for BBQ in Leduc. I can t speak for inside the location, but I did order from Uber this afternoon, the two meat plate with brisket and sausage, BBQ beans, potato salad. And a Pit Dip Sandwich, everything was PHENOMENAL. These days it s getting harder and harder to get a good bang for your buck, especially that tastes good. $40, to the door, everything was amazing, and it was technically 2 meals for myself. Would ve likely gotten 5 Stars if I could ve spoke for inside location.

Tariq the Manager was super welcoming and the staff were very friendly. They have an electric smoker with wood pellets and homemade fries with delicious seasoning. I had the burnt ends combo. The bun was fresh and the burnt ends were delicious on my sandwich with pickles and cheese and Bbq sauce. The price was what is to be expected. Less than some bbq places. The coleslaw was very good. The only thing I would like in the coleslaw is some celery seed, gives it a nice kick. I really enjoyed my first experience and will definitely be back because there is more on the menu that I would like to try. Thank you Tariq and staff :)

The food was absolutely delicious and the prices were more than fair for the excellent quality of meats and sides. We had the 2 meat platter and the pit dip and both were well cooked, served quickly, and the service was wonderful. We were given a great walk through of the menu for our first time and were asked after having eaten awhile how everything was. If this is fast food, its the best fast food with the best service Ive ever had.

got the burnt ends sandwich, and i can t lie. that was probably the best sandwich i ve had in the last few years. the sauce was perfect, the meat was tender and juicy, and the spices were all on point. definitely gonna go back for round 2.

MELT IN YOUR MOUTH! My mother and I just stopped in for the first time we had to get dinner for 3 people. We got two of the 3 Meat Plates and 4 sides. For under $60. Portion wise it was more than enough. Being our first time there the menu was a lot to take in because everything looks that good. But the man that helped us walked us through the whole menu and made everything so simple. I ve lived in Leduc for 28 years and I d stack this place up against another local place. Great people, Great service and even Greater food. Will definitely be coming back
