We had Preet as our server today and wanted to acknowledge the great service and personal touch, We have young kids who can be picky and messy. And she went above and beyond to make it a pleasant experience for everyone Food

I recently spent a couple of hours at this Ricky s for a brunch get together with a friend on a short business trip. Our server was awesome, the food was surprisingly good, and their portions are a great deal. I accidentally left my key fob at the restaurant and did not notice until I was home - in Vancouver that night. Dipesh the manager mailed my key to me promptly. When I tried to pay him back the $17 - he said he will cover it. That act of kindness in a stressful situation meant so much. Also important to note their coffee is really good. I hope to be back one day.

Staying at Days Inn, walked down the hallway to Ricky s for eats and treats. Greeted by Paras who recommended some choices which we found great and enjoyed. Southern Chicken tenders ,salads and fries , very good .He certainly knows how to treat people . We ll be back.

Spent an overnight en route back home and had dinner at Ricky s. Great service from Paras. I had the veggie burger and my husband had the classic. Both were very good. Fire place wasn t working which would add atmosphere but the lighting was great, not too bright.

Everything was good.

This place was around the corner from the hotel I was staying at so decided to give it a try. Smaller menu, but with something for everyone. I had a grilled cheese and fries, and my mom had chicken fingers and fries. Both super delicious, and with pretty good portions too. Reasonable prices, and the staff was super duper friendly.

So this afternoon I tried to order lunch online. Once I went to pay for my order. I noticed that there was an extra charge of $1.10 being applied to the order. I called Rickys to inquire what was this extra charge was for, and they could not give me an answer. Now I did opt out of the tip function. So I am of the opinion that this their way of ensuring that they get the tip. If I am not being waited on, and I am the one picking up my order I will not leave a tip.

I am sorry to say that we did not like our food because the staff offered great service and was friendly. We ordered fish and chips and a classic burger. I was surprised that our dinner was served on plastic plates. The fish and chips were greasy, and the burger was bland. The price was high at around $60 with just a club soda. We would not visit that restaurant again.

Garbage food at a walkable location. This place sucked 3+ years ago when i went last. Nothing has improved the poo menace has taken yet another franchise and like all locations churn out the goyslop last time I waste my money if rather had ichi ban from the microwave and I dont eat that either.

The strawberries and the mixed berries both were fermented. Pancakes were super thin almost to the point you could see through them. The club house was very good. But other than that they forgot about my meal but brought my wifes out and thought we were sharing.

Dear owners, I flew in from out of town and arrived at my hotel which is attached to this restaurant. Upon settling into my room, I went to Ricky s with a half hour too close to get myself a burger & fries. Upon entering the waiter didn t even greet me, he said sorry sir we close in 10 minutes but we can make you something to go. I looked around a people eating and then said you close at 9, correct? That s half and hour. He seemed thrown off and said sure then have a seat here. No, thank you. I ll just go somewhere else . And then he thanked me for going elsewhere. Lol. I surely hope you take this seriously and as a business owner myself, this is unacceptable and what is called bad for business . I also surely hope that this employee doesn t represent you business like this with knowledge. I will not return and will also be specifically making mention that this is a restaurant to avoid in the future.

The food here is terrible and the service is average at best. The nachoes were underwhelming for the cost, my chicken sandwich was obviously reheated and fell apart on its cheap bun, and the kids macaroni and cheese was inedible (I dont know what they use for cheese but it tasted like some sort of powder cheese). There are a lot better options in the area

Absolutely disgusting!! Ordered French onion soup and Turkey dinner ..soup arrived and was cold, so it was sent back and seconds later my Turkey dinner arrived!! So that was sent back stating I wanted my soup BEFORE my main course. The second bowl arrived with 3 slices of bread in the bowl, less than 1/2 ladle of soup and more cheese than I ve ever seen! That too was returned and was asked if I still wanted the Turkey dinner which I declined. At the time of writing this, I m still sat here and there s 2 others here, so it s not like the kitchen staff are overwhelmed!! Manager was very apologetic, but that doesn t excuse the cooks in the kitchen. If you re thinking of dining here, please consider spending your hard earned money somewhere else other than this place.

Excellent experience tonight for dinner. We started with the mushroom soup. Really good. For main dishes we had lasagna and fish and shrimp. Hands down, probably the best fried fish Ive had in a restaurant. Even the lasagna looked good. Definitely looking forward to coming back.

This is another hidden gem, the food, the service totally amazing. Such a warm welcome by our host/waiter Vegetarian options: The best veggie burger, which wasnt either Impossible or Beyond, it was the in-house creation, plus the house salad was amazing with the lime-maple dressing.

We stopped in after a long day of shopping. My husband ordered the appy hour poutine fries as a starter. They were crispy and covered in rich brown gravy with traditional cheese curds. For my main course, I ordered the Veggie Burger with the salad. The salad came with the house dressing, which was the most delicious maple and Lime dressing I have ever put in my mouth! Sweet and tangy, yet light and refreshing for a hot day. The portion was just right to go with the Veggie Burger. The Veggie patty was homemade and the thing dreams are made of. I was a little apprehensive, but our server who is also vegetarian said it was good. It had visible bits of carrots, corn, peas, and green beans, yet the patty portion, which I am assuming was lentil based, was delicious . The patty was light and paired well with the multigrain bun. If youve had Beyond or Impossible patties, it is just as good without all the saturated fat. My husband ordered the Montecristo sandwich. That was turkey and black forest ham with the French toast crusted bread. I did not try any, but the bread alone would be worth ordering. My husband got the individual peach cobbler to go. I had one spoonful and it was also amazing. Not too sweet with a nice crunchy oat topping.

The food and service were both good. They forgot the gravy but am sure if I had pointed it out it would have been fixed but I was too hungry to care. Washrooms needed attention but they actually belong to the adjoining hotel.

I had low expectations walking in since this is within the Days Inn (which set a low bar), but was pleasantly surprised at a great ambience and great food. I tried the broccoli cheese soup, others tried salads and different kids meals - everyone was happy with what they received, in terms of freshness, taste, and quantity. Recommend!

Good place to go after a flight. Its close to the airport and service was nice and decently quick. Food was overall pretty good. Their French fries are delish. A Hot Bench was airing it would have been perfect if subtitles were turned on.

Nothing wrong with the taste. Made exactly as I ve ordered. But portions could be more generous. My coleslaw was not even half full.

We stopped in for breakfast today and they had only on waiter on as one didnt show up. The waiter did a very good job of trying to keep up but the kitchen failed. Meals were not as ordered and when we asked to have our items fixed the kitchen took shortcuts and failed as most of our food was cold or under cooked. We felt for the server as he tried his best short handed with no help fron the kitchen.

Ive seen these restaurants around edmonton. Out shopping decided to stop here. It was ok, its what you would expect from a chain restaurant in a hotel. I didnt have high expectations going in. The food was hot and we didnt leave hungry. Im not a fan of no problem when I say thank you. All In all it was ok, will not be my first choice

Showed up on a Saturday morning planning a quick breakfast before heading to the airport. Showed up at about 910-915, there was only 1 server initially and the restaurant was starting to get full. We ordered 2 types of pancakes and loaded hashbrowns without bacon. 30 minutes later, were still waiting so I ask the server to bring to go boxes with the meal and the bill so we can eat for a few min and be ready to leave. 10 more minutes later the hashbrowns show up and 1 plate of pancakes is placed in front of us. We start eating, the hashbrowns end up having bacon bits buried in it, and as a vegetarian I am now very upset because I have eaten food that had meat in it even if I did not eat any of the actual chunks. Stop the server to inform her, server doesnt even bother to remove the bacon dish from our table, and their compensation was removing the $4.59 (ish) item off of the bill. The second set of pancakes never arrives, so we stand up at the front to pay our bill and then they finally pack the pancakes in a to go box and hand it to us. Paid for a meal that a) didnt accomodate our dietary restrictions and b) food didnt arrive together so one person got to eat while the other person got theirs to go. 0 point in eating out would have ordered take out if I wanted take out. And then when I actually opened my to go box, there was both pieces of shredded hashbrowns and pieces of EGGSHELL in my pancake box.

I was staying in the hotel I had ordered a meal for my wife and I through the website they gave me when I went to ask for a menu. I placed the order and went to pick it up at the time stated. Placing the order it asked twice to confirm my details, and then charged me twice. I got an email saying they will allegedly refund the second charge within 3-4 business days. I went to pick the order up and it wasnt ready, they didnt get the order somehow. I sat and waited another 25 minutes for them to prepare the meal, and it was somehow still cold when I received it. Sandwich bread was stale, portions were small. Not sure how we spent $62 and are going to bed hungry. Shame on you.

This restaurant is inside the hotel we were staying at. We got there around 7pm on a Thursday. We got our food about 45-50 min later and it wasnt busy. Unfortunately some of the food was cold. My boyfriend got the fish and chips and one piece was amazing and the other didnt looked cooked at all. The poutines cheese was ice cold and it made the bland gravy cold. We did get it heated up but the fries got gross. The taste just wasnt there. The kids portion was maybe a half of cup of pasta. My 8 year old was still really hungry after. It was really small compared to Boston pizza and other family restaurants. My son got the chicken tenders on the adult menu and he said they were decent. My club sandwich wasnt good. They used two different kinds of bread. The crust was so hard on one, I couldnt chew it. The bacon was good.... on the sandwich. Now the staff were polite and wonderful but while we waited, no one came over to refill our drinks or tell us why it was taking so long etc.. They did apologize for the food at the end and took the poutine that I got off the bill but not for my boyfriend even though both were disgusting.for the convenience of it being in the hotel its nice but our experience just wasnt great

Just had dinner there and Lanaya was our server and right from walking in we were seated quickly, served our drinks immediately and she watched for when we were ready to order. Our food was ready so fast and served out fresh and hot. (The chicken tenders are to die for btw) She was extremely friendly and fun! She also kept a close eye on our drinks even when we didn t even notice! Just as we finished one drink another was brought out! I can t say enough good things about the food and our server! We will definitely make this our go to from now on!

This was by far the worst food I have ever eaten in my entire life and I am being genuine. I mean it, I d rather shove broken shards of glass in my rear and sit in a tub of tobasco sauce then eat here again. The incompetence of this kitchen is beyond anything I ve ever seen in my entire life.

Had dinner at Rickys Nisku two days ago. It was one of the best dinners Ive had with my family. Good food, quality and generous portions. The place was busy and we were amazed by service quality.

This my road trip Rickys location, but they are all excellent. Breakfast for all sizes of appetites and a nice variety of unique menu items.
