The Fried rice is not so good its Sour , Soggy . Its like your eating a sticky rice.

Amazing food at an affordable price.

Worst buffet I have ever been to!!!

Ordered for Christmas eve meal. Food is actual garbage. Spring rolls full of mush Ginger beef is mush Beef and vegetables was mush Rice and noodles dish ok 50$ for food and right into garbage.

Decent Asian food in a buffet setting. Good variety and value for a quick lunch. Enjoyed supper there last night. Food is 7/10, in a buffet is darn good. The owner refreshes the more the 20 dishes regularly.

here right now with hubby and the food was really good. we will def be back earlier in the evening . the food had great flavour but it has been sitting for a while. just for clarity we ate after 730pm so the food sitting for a bit is not a critique of the restaurant.

ordered Won ton soup...parts of the won tons were dried and yellow the middle was frozen, ordered the #3 dinner for one and the sauce was poured over every thing in a big pool on the plate, the spring roll had a chemical taste made me sick to my stomach

Had the worst buffet ever. 22.95 for adults, Food was not hot at all. All the meat was tough and too much vinegar in sweet and sours. To top it all off the food was not replenished, when asked about that the rude waiter said there was enough. very bad experience.

Decent Chinese food. You can do the buffet at this restaurant. But overall. It s okay Chinese food. I d much prefer P.F Changs then this!

We ordered shrimp fried rice and only got three small pieces of shrimp. The chicken balls had little chicken and thick batter. Overall disappointed and will continue to enjoy Waldorf over Shanghai

There is not much food in the buffet, the food is really not very tasty, but the service attitude is not bad.

Arrived as per my quoted 35 min pick up time last night with no chance of getting my order. 10 people in que in front of me waiting for takeout orders some as long as 3 hours. No one at the counter then finally 20 min later someone came out and could not give me straight answer about my order. Pretty angry crowd as I would be waiting 3 hours. Good thing Taco Bell was open.

Great food. Weve eaten our share of Chinese food and normally prefer a little more.authentic but for being in Leduc this place is great. Foods fresh and balanced. We will continue tomcome back. Probably never try another Chinese place in or around Leduc as the rest arent good.

Just ok. The curry fried rice and beef and broccoli were ok, but the ginger chicken had super thick batter and was hard to chew.

Delicious food this time around, glad I got it to go though, the stench inside the restaurant was horrid, it would have killed my appetite if I stayed there to eat.

Sadly disappointed got there at 7:00 for buffet , yes I realized close to closing time everything on the buffet was as if it had been there since early morning Krispy krunchy old. Then to be charged $50 for 2 people with that poor quality of food, and only get 10% off when I comment to the fact that very thing was old. NOT going back there very sadly disappointed, was my favorite restaurant in Leduc.

$46.20 for 2 buffets with water. Ridiculous price for subpar food with way too much batter on the shrimp and chicken balls. Will never go back and I highly recommend you avoid this joint.

Found the buffet to be pretty dried out, especially the deep fried foods. Seems to have changed a lot since we last were there.The service was good.

Pleasantly surprised by the freshness, taste and quality, wondering how on earth I did not know about this little hidden gem before! Restaurant was warm and clean, not fancy per se, but if you want a good buffet in Leduc I d say this is the best option by far that I have been to.

We like to support local and small businesses as much as possible but no matter how many times we ve given the restaurant a chance there has always been a let down. We hoped for a good Chinese restaurant in Leduc to support but after numerous orders, incase of the off chance the kitchen was lacking that day, we just drive into the city now and not waste our money or time

...enjoyed a terrific buffet today with son and grandson. Very tasty, clean, good selection and great service too.

Just ordered $80 worth of food to take home, Honey garlic chicken couldnt be pierced with a fork, rice was hard, deep fried shrimp was tough and chewy. Tastes like i ate food from the night before. Called the owner he never apologized or offered any compensation. Im hungry and need to make some food i cant eat this garbage

I usually love this place. It has been our go to place for years. But last night we ordered $100 worth of food and it was pretty awful. The beef was practically yellow and did not look taste like beef at all. The sweet and sour pork was chewy and pretty hard. All in all I was super disappointed and upset that we wasted our money

Update. Thought Id give it another try and thankful I didnt have company this time. All the food was at least a few days old. Stale. Gross. Couldnt even chew the pork or beef. Spent $100 and am totally disappointed. Wont try again or recommend.

Very disappointed. I used to love coming to the Smorg here before covid. We ordered take out last week. Even the smell when we picked up our order made us want to run. I love chicken chop Suey which I ordered. It was 99% cabbage. I few tiny pieces of chicken at the bottom. The ginger beef was not good. We will not order from here again. If the Smorg ever opens again we might try it but never ordering off the menu

Apparently you all have no taste buds that was quite possibly the nastiest asian food ive ever ate ....... i took a medium sized plate and had a large plate of waste after i ate gross gross gross and extremely high priced for the poor quality of food you people should have your review liscenses taken away from you .......

Rant to the Shanghai restaurant on 50 st here in leduc there was barley any food left in the buffet table and what was left was either stale or rock hard the lady gave us an incredible amount of attitude when we brought to her attention and couldn t care less we had barley eaten any food and they had charged us nearly $70 I can tell u for sure I will never go back there again

Had take out and the food was outstanding . Every item tasted great.

Ordered almost 2 hours ago. Called to see where it was and and they told my wife that they did not have an order for her phone number or our address. NEVER AGAIN will we be ordering from this place!

Had the chicken curry and the beef curry was disappointed it had hardly any meat in and lots of vegetables want be going there again

Some of the better Chinese food around. Sometimes can be a little oily but flavour is good and always quick and very polite.

Ordered for delivery at 423. Told me an hour delivery. Was ok with that. Called me at 525 because they wrote my address down wrong. 6pm still no food. Called and they said it was on its way. Called again at 625. Staff told me that we refused our order (wouldnt be calling if we got our order) All they offered was a new order and 10% off. 2 hour wait? No thanks, we were hungry and didnt want to wait another 2 hours. Will NEVER go there again....

Food as okay. Buffet did not seem to be refilled often as wonton soup was empty from when we arrived until we left. Not a lot of vegetable or chicken dish selection.

I want to give zero rating. We were group of 32 including kids. Placed big order and all the food was right out of fridge. Didnt even warm it properly and served to us and claimed that it was fresh. We complained to owner and he didnt care total bill 400$. Money doesnt grow on trees you have to earn it. Never going back their

Not even deserve a star Worst Chinese restaurant in town food was cold veggies were frozen not even properly defrost you can feel ice in veggies specially broccoli and cauliflower were freez burn it look like frozen food sits in their fridge for weeks and serve to clean their fridge chicken is rock hard you can break your teeth good job management you finally clean your old stock to serve us with heavy amount Never ever go again hope this restaurant close soon and not ripping the other peoples pockets

horrible. food was all salt and msg. all tasted the same. waitress was great and funny, only good thing about the experiance. will never go again.

The food was just not good. The ginger beef tasted nothing like ginger beef and nothing really had flavor. The girl the took our order over the phone was short and just didnt seem like she cared if we ordered or not. A far difference from three years ago when i got my Chinese food from here

We made a reservation on September 1 for 10 people to celebrate a birthday and an anniversary. We arrived and our table as set-up. The buffet was under stocked at that time! During the meal, food did come out, but very slow. Certain dishes had no taste, other dishes over cooked! Out of the 10 people, everyone agreed the food was not satisfactory. We won t be back for a long time.

Ok at best

We ordered in for a family affair and it was very good. I am not familiar with too much Chinese food but there was lots of it and everyone seemed to really enjoy it.

Stopped in for the Smorgasbord . Was Great. Walked out with an extra order of Dumpling. Had a great conversation with the new owners . Really down to Earth and a sincere family running this place now. Thank you Peter Bauder Barrhead Alberta.

Too many stale gross buffet experiences to consider returning. Ever.

Had the buffet which had too many things that were left out for far too long, for example the chicken balls were ROCK hard on one side. However, when fresh items were brought out, it was very good. Salt and pepper fish, deep fried shimp, and veggie rolls (nice bit of spice) were among the better items.

Bad service, bad food. Everything looked and tasted like it had been left out for way too long - it was all rock hard and stale.

Tried the dinner buffet. Very limited choices for vegetarians. My colleague who eats meat also felt the food was stale. Over priced for the food we ate.

Great location for a buffet - friendly staff, food is usually fresh, good selection, and I love the purple theme to the entire place!

Really fast delivery, under ten minutes here in leduc around supper time and really good food! We ordered the dinner for 2 and love it. Were new to leduc-so this is our Chinese delivery spot for sure.

This is an entry level Chinese buffet, appropriately priced as such. I gave it 3 stars for being exactly what it is, having nice staff, and a decent selection.

This was the most over-priced steaming pile of garbage I have ever had the misfortune of consuming. Empty tray after empty tray in the buffet with almost nothing to choose from and what we were able to piece together from the scraps all tasted terrible. As if the questionable food wasnt enough we were then presented with a bill for $40 after having had 2 plates and 2 pops. For the sake of your dinner this evening and especially for the sake of your money, I would strongly reccomend going to Lees in Calmar or the Panda Hut Exrpess which is only about a half km north of this location. Just a ruined evening for us.
