Leduc Diner & Pizza Ltd in Leduc

I ordered a pizza on doordash as i was staying the night and catching a flight from edmonton in the morning. The pizza was really good!

Second time Ive stood up & left for being ignored. Sad. I was looking forward to eating my favorite pizza.

The food here is amazing! Very cozy, its like coming home to a home cooked meal. The waitresses are so friendly and quick!

I thought the pizza was just ok, I was hoping for something a little different.

Paid for a $56 order with $70, and the lady behind the counter said they had no change

Too much attitude. Not a customer but visit there for a pickup. Lady completely ignored. Order was ready. I told her order number thrice. She said I cant hear you. Then I said loudly then she got mad and said dont be loud. Discrimination nothing else no smile looking at me with anger. I know they were busy but no mean to show their frustration on others. You are in customer service please perform well. If you dont like skip, Uber deliveries thats your business.

Go to place for lasagna, liver and onions, steak. Best lasagna ever. Only last time lacking a bit meat sauce and cheese, garlic a bit dry. Parking: Next to Rexall Drugstore

Great food... never had a bad meal

I am only writing this review because we have been coming here for years and always get a medium pizza to share. The size of the pizza was so small we were baffled by it, $21.50 for 6 small pieces of pizza is actually crazy. Our waitress was amazing and always is so nothing against her but almost $54 dollars for a frozen chicken burger & a small pizza & 3 pops is insane! We won t be coming back.

Leduc Diner has some amazing food and Classic Pizza that has a home made taste that sets it apart from all the chains these days. If you get the chance make sure to try the place out, I thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

Probably 1 of the best places in Leduc to eat not saying the others are bad most are also excellent just kinda of a favorite of mine

Server was friendly and nice everytime I go there for breakfast.

Met 3 friends for lunch. Three of us has the seniors 1/2 BLT with soup and one had the chefs salad. We were all full and happy after eating here.

Real diner feel, lots to choose from on menu, best pizza in town!

Food is quite basic. Not much flavour. Service was terrible. It took 20 minutes to even be acknowledged after sitting at the table. The waitress was not friendly. Less than your typical diner. I don t understand why there are people in here. Will never return.

Exactly what I miss about eating at restaurants! This place has all the charm of an 80s style diner and tastes just as amazing as you hope it will. Great service and food will definitely have me eating here every trip to Edmonton!

Excellent service and a good atmosphere. Hot hamburger was literally a couple of Walmart patties and salad was dumped in a bowl from a bag. Not great.

This is an old-time classic family restaurant with a dish for every appetite. The baked lasagna is a solid choice as three people from our party devoured theirs! Pizza is another go-to when craving a comfort food. I heard the donair wasnt as tasty as the patron had hoped. My steak was not the finest slab of meat but still palatable. The server was a lovely lady who had a wonderful smile and a warm personality. She was the best part of our experience that night.

Double Smash Burger Special We had the house special of a double smash burger and slaw with curly fries and gravy. The food was delicious and great value. Thank you to the Macris/Haidous families for continuing to serve Leduc. Great Place!!

Went for Lunch today ordered Hot Hamberger was not Impressed with the meal was very disappointing from last time had a Great Meal was looking forward of another Great Tasting meal unfortunately that wasnt the case Today and was uncomfortable at the back of restaurant near the bar and it very noisy with the dishes being put in the food cart. This was not a pleasant Dinner Experience.

Went there for dinner tonight. It was good as usual. Had the special which was a New York burger with barbecue sauce and coleslaw. Carrie was our waitress. Awsome seeing my buddy hunter as well.

The Dinner is a staple in Leduc, they ve been here for years and always have great service and consistently great food! You can t go wrong with the lasagna or pizza.

Came to the diner with the highest review rating in Leduc and it was a hit! Waiters know people by name. Place very business with people coming and going! Food was fresh and worth driving about 30 minutes from my hometown! Our local diner closed down and I was on the hunt for a diner with some personality, great customer service, and of course delicious food! This place didn t disappoint! Definitely coming back to this place for more good eats!

Sat down, while waiting for drinks saw a mouse run thru middle of dining room. If your gonna have rodents, you better keep them hidden, because i cant eat at your establishment when I see them.

The pizza dough is half cook. their soup is too salty. the server is not friendly. one time, I only ordered soup and paid the exact amount , she was not happy about it. its seems she wants me to tip her. doesnt matter what I ordered . Any server should have a happy face and serve the customer with respect.

Amazing pizza , nice atmosphere

Very disappointed. Food was sub par at best and not worth the $$ should of stuck to fast food. Will not be back ever and will definetly not recommend it to anyone ever. Mc Donalds would have been better and way less than $30.

An absolute amazing experience for my first time in this hole in the wall diner the staff was absolutely amazing especially our server!!! One of the best meals i have had in a long time and the beef dip seems to just melt in your mouth as you eat it. Absolutely incredible and will be mine and my wifes night out for the foreseeable future. Love everything about this place and would rate 6/5 stars!!!!

18 dollars for a clubhouse that was soggy , and cold fries with no gravy , spent 50 dollars on nothing, first time at this dump and the last !!

Nice classic dinner atmosphere. The soup was really good but pizza was had no toppings or cheese and all CRUST. For 30 bucks it was hardly worth it. Please thin out the crust and add toppings.

Great food but always very busy

Came in on a Monday afternoon ordered my usual Yam fries and gravy. I was floored when the portion size was significantly less than 1/2 of what it has always been ,so I questioned the server if it was senior sized... I was curtly informed that cost went up and they weight the fries and the size is always the same.The gravy was luke warm at best and lumpy as hell, my meger amount of fries was approximately the same amount as a Small McDonalds fries. Really !!!? Almost $20.00 I should have sent it back , I should have taken a photo, now I know better. I left hungry... I bragged about this place for years Im so very disappointed. I will not be back.

Good food

If you enjoy paying 15$ for the equivalent of a mc donalds smol Fries. This is the place for you. Ill Never again go there. Used to be a regular that tips but also discovered that the owners take tips from the staff. Just seen a reply from the owner further down and I can assure you they do not fix things when it is brought up. Disregard the owners replies as they are ignorant, distasteful and shows a lack of professionalism. : in response to owners reply Stop blaming the customers when the majority of negative reviews are basically within the last year. Whats nasty is your blatant disregard for the consumer who pays your bills. All of which was posted above is true and complete. The food issue was refuted and argued by staff with the excuse that prices went up. Thats not an excuse to charge up to 20$ for a mc donalds small frie and a pop. Portion sizes are a joke. Its sad to see such well supported company scrape and gouge the customer and staff. And it is absolutely disgusting that management staff take tips from the employees. What a disgrace to take money personally given directly to the person whom earned them for their hard work and good service. I suggest looking at the trend in negative reviews this last year alone to help you better understand your egregious errors. And as to why the place has such a high turn over for staff. As a Canadian who whole heartedly supports local businesses and promotes them I can say for certainty that I will not eat there again nor recommend.

Pizza not cooked enough. Called and complained, was given credit. Tried again a few days later. Same thing.

WORST Pizza in LEDUC NOW Used to LOVE this place. But just Ok food, prices like everything are increasing. Can t cook a medium poached egg to save their life, and i try most weeks for almost a decade, hoping lol. We used to go there usually at least once a week to meet with family. Quality has definitely decreased in the last few years. The pizza does not taste as good, and gave me the old bathroom party. Update april 2023 Went for lunch there ordered a burger and fries. Half the fries were uncooked and half the fries were over cooked and were soaked in oil, as well as being 15 minutes behind everyone else s meal. My wife s lunch was only slightly better, the kids ordered grilled cheese and fries and both orders had issues. Other folks who had ordered pizza the night before were surprised with pizza so poor they threw it out and refuse to order from here again. My brothers family refuse to come eat with us of we ever want to give this place another try. Keep in mind i have been coming to this location for 40 years.. they seem to be spending money on dinerfying the place yet everytime we went in here there were new cooks and staff. I really want the pizza of five years ago back.. I found if you want a really good burger (not the frozen one they served me) goto the musical diner just a few blocks away.

A delightful wood fired pizza place, with plenty of comfort diner food if you prefer something different. We went for a drive in Leduc and discovered this restaurant, and had to find time to head back for more pizza as soon as we could. Nothing grand, just a diner with great quality diner food.

After all these years the food is the best in leduc!!

Leduc Diner is my favorite place to go for pizza. Ive been going here since it was Peters Pizza all those years ago. Ive never had another Hawaiian pizza anywhere else that comes remotely close to how Leduc Diner does it. Recipe hasnt changed since I was kid in the 80s. Its simply the best. And the new cheesecakes they have for dessert are to die for. Kid-friendliness: They have a great kids menu and they still do the baby plate which is awesome. Ive never been to another restaurant that offers a baby plate for babies just starting out with food.

I appreciate the Leduc diner, the atmosphere, but as a person of disability, I found it was really difficult to access the restroom.

We were camping in Leduc and after an evening of canoeing we wanted supper. After reading reviews we made this restaurant our choice. We ordered the liver and onions and were not disappointed. The liver was prepared to perfection and our baked potato was excellent. The Greek salad which was included in the meal has a good dressing. And the price which included two beers was reasonable.

Just ordered a large old diner fresh tomatoes. Tomatoes were missing I caught that right away. They fixed that up but when I got to my destination as it was take out found that there was absolutely no pizza sauce on the pizza. Huge disappointment!! However upon complaining Leduc Diner immediately called me by phone. They have made good for the mishap of the Pizza so I am doing the right thing and updating my comments. Thank you Leduc diner for following up.

Service and food was fantastic

We went here on a date on September 5th,23 My fiancé and I had been talking about liver and onions for a while. How I had never had them and he loves them . Years ago he came across the Leduc diner and they had liver and onions . He told me how good it was. We talk about it for a while tell one day I suggested we go. This was my first experience at the Leduc diner as well as having liver and onions. I was pleasantly surprised at how much I liked it. The place was super cute. A few weeks later we came back for dinner with our kids and again had a great experience. Thank you leduc diner

The Leduc Diner has been our familys go-to spot for years, especially during my parents visits. This time, however, our dinner experience left us quite disappointed. Although our food came out quickly, one dish was burnt and two were cold. Our sweet waitress took them back, but they returned from the microwave with rock-hard buns. It was disheartening to learn that microwaving was a standard practice, approved by management. No one from management came to address our concerns, which was unlike the caring Leduc Diner weve cherished for over 30 years. This visit sadly tainted the warm memories weve held for this once comforting eatery.

Prices have really gone up there.almost double the old prices.

The pizza is amazing the serving is super fast its just perfect kairry Is the one that served us and she is super nice. The above is from my son PJ. He specifically asked for Kerrys name and was very insisting on this review. We had lunch ... almost no leftovers! Our Go-To from now on when in the zone! Kid-friendliness: Kids menu available but regular dishes are also fine for kids.

This was my families favourite place for pizza been going for 42 years and I had my first pizza there but the last couple visits it seems the pizza sauce has changed and if it has the 42 year run will come an end cause it s all about the sauce. And we came special last visit half hour before closing and they told us kitchen is closing we drove a half hour to get there so it really hurt or experience with them. And we were a table of eight.

We have been coming here for about a year. It s always been good. Today was disgusting. Deep fried waffles? Totally greasy gross! Pulled out of the freezer into the deep fryer.

Good service, good home style food. It is a busy spot. If you are in Leduc I recommend a lunch there. The pizza was very good. Also the beef dip and liver and onions were exceptional.

We like the Friday night pizza special with wings. Both are very good and not like the regular pizza joints. Its way way better! Our server Kari was so nice and made sure we enjoyed our last visit. Wed like to try other foods on the menu as well but that pizza is hard to resist.

Well we tried to eat here. We didnt see the sign Please wait to be seated as it was kinda covered by another sign and we were reading the specials. We made eye contact with the servers and sat down. Servers walked past us several times without any acknowledgement. 15 minutes later...no one had come to our table so we got up to leave. As we were walking out the waitress said to us...You didnt wait to be seated! in a very rude tone. Well...dont worry lady as we wont EVER be back! Cant complain about the service here as there wasnt any!!

In response to Gail Giese; Our restaurant completely filled up for lunch today as you are well aware of that, we serve tables in order of each other we do not push tables ahead of somebody else. Our sign at the door that is visible to our customers states, please wait to be seated, though I realize you may not have seen the sign when you decided to seat yourself, but I am sure you realize that we cannot bump you ahead of everybody else after we noticed you sitting there, I had 4 tables walk in before you I could not push others behind to tend to you, waiting for your turn is how we do things here to insure everyone gets the same service. Getting up and walking out was your decision but calling me rude on here is uncalled for as I was not rude to you and only pointed out as you were leaving, im sorry but you were suppose to wait to be seated otherwise when its busy we do not realize somebody had seated themselves. I was in no way rude to you unlike your gentleman companion that was with you, he was very rude to me. Walking up to me and telling me it was horrible service because of having zero patience to wait your turn. Good luck in other restaurants that will give you that immediate service at full capacity. None of our customers waited 15 mins to be served, even at full capacity today. They were open for another hour and when I put my hand on the door to open it for dinner with my sister I someone ran up and locked it and I pulled to door and knocked to let them know there were customers outside and nobody came back to let us in never going again

My family of 8, has eaten at Leduc Diner for more then 7 years. Todays experience was the worst experience we have had in years at any eatery, the split pea soup was burnt to taste and smell! And they kept serving it to other guests instead of taking it off the menu as any good restaurant would have! My liver and onions were over cooked and rubbery. My sons chicken burger was under done! My wifes breakfast was not good either, the eggs were taste-less! This was the worst-case of restaurant experience we have had in a very long time! Not sure what has happened to this place? Used to be the best eatery in Leduc!

We were in LeDuc for a wedding. I looked up local restaraunts and found the Leduc diner. It looked local and had history so we thought wed try. And did. I ordered a roast beef on toast with veg. I asked what the veg was. Frozen . California mix. Mmm OK. I ordered . Gf ordered breakfast . Eggs over medium . Sausage . Meals arrived together. Sorry were out of vegetables . So we substituted a half sliced tomato. Fries were the fat frozen ones . Gravy was obviously out of a bag. Beef was well done and mediocre . $18 Gfs eggs were hard. Sausage was good. Hashbrowns frozen and deep fried. Really lazy food. And not worth the price. They need to evolve . Some fresh boiled veg, real gravy, lose the deep fried hashbrowns and improve the fries. Id expect this food from a budget diner but if your charging for quality then put in some effort. Lazy .... Had tea. Teabag and creamers $3.10 The place has character . Love the waitresses who look like theyve been there since the good days. Service was good. Saw people eating pizza . It looked good. Couple beside us wanted the pasta Alfredo. They were out. Then make some ! LeDuc diner needs to evolve or die unfortunately . Sorry guys.

The Leduc Diner has been around forever. Its still always busy which is a testament to its following and consistency. The food is decent, but not great - but you can depend on it being what you think youre going to get. Food

Who was gate keeping this place?? Why arent the town criers proclaiming its existence? The mozza mushroom burger had me at first bite. It was literally heaven. The angels of melty-mushroom-cheesy-deliciousness were warbling melodies I had not yet known existed. Was I just enlightened...by a burger?? The server had small town heart, she was social and attentive. Loved the whole experience

We love the atmosphere of a diner. Heading back to Edmonton and decided to stop for supper and skip the rush hour traffic. Couldn t help but notice the booths and tables were sparking they were so clean and polished. We had the Tuesday pizza and dinner specials. Pizza was great. Real pieces of bacon, nice sauce. Hamburger, chips and gravy. No complaints. Service was friendly. Will definitely be back when passing through town.

Took my grandkids to this diner and although the food was delicious one of my grand boys found a long black hair in his hamburger and the other grandson found a dead fly underneath his fries. If I was rating my stars on the food alone I would have given it a 5 star rating but because of the added surprise I only gave it a 1

The waitress there with the pink hair was very helpful and accomanating would highly recommend.

We had to wait like an hour for a very simple breakfast. Service and everything was extremely slow. Food taste is just average. I wont come back...

My experience is that you now get less food for the same dollar amount . For example, the royal pizza does have shrimp on it anymore, although when you look on their menu online it still says with shrimp. This is only one of the disappointments. Their are many more. I sure will not deal with Leduc Diner anymore.

Stopped there to have breakfast, and service was incredibly slow. Had to wait more than an hour for eggs and toast. And the restaurant was not even full.
