Best pizza Ive had in ages!

Old fashioned, very unique restaurant, inside is very traditional and reminds one of eating at home with mom or grandmothers house, lots of options on the menu, must check out the old gas pumps, service was great excellent and very timely, a must stop in if your visiting the area, great portion sizes and scapled potatoes are to die for, will return again when in Town again. I came here with my 9 year old for a late supper. They were busy but there were a lot of servers on. We were seated and no one came to our table. The server whose section I m assuming we were seated in came to a table that was diagonal to ours. She was chit chatting with a lady at that table for quite some time. They were close enough that I could hear their small talk. We were not acknowledged. I went up to another server and asked if we could move tables since we were not getting service in the section we were seated in. She said sure, I showed her where we were moving to and she said she d be right over. The food for another table by us came up so she was busy bringing that out next. She didn t come take our drink order afterwards. We were just left sitting there still. We went to the washroom and came back and waited a bit longer. She finally came over and offered to bring water. I asked for lemon and a straw for mine. She brought the water straight away but not the straw or lemon. Once she got those she took our drink order at which time my daughter asked for a straw for her water too. She never came with back with it so my daughter went up to her while she was at the bar talking with another server and asked her for a straw again, at which time the server gave one to her. My daughter ordered a Shirley Temple which she normally loves. She said it was sour so I tasted it and it definitely wasn t made correctly. When I ordered the special I was told that they had just sold their last portion of it. If they had taken my order in a timely manner then they wouldn t have been out. I would give the food a solid 7 out of 10 but the service sucked so much that we won t be back. When we were clearly finished (empty glasses and plates) no one came to clear them or offer the bill so we went to wash our hands and then pay on the way out at the till. When we got to the till there was a man doing paperwork there and our server came up to us and said she d bring the bill so I ended up paying standing in the middle of the walkway there which seemed awkward and odd. When I dine out, I want good food AND good service. If you want decent food and inattentive service then this place is for you! Kid-friendliness: Don t bring a hungry kid here unless you want them to have to wait extra long to be fed due to the lack lustre service

We went here for dinner. We were disappointed as the Schnitzel was overcooked and tough. The gravy tasted like it came out of a can, and the service was just okay.

Great Steak

I do not know who is giving this food 4/5 stars but this place should not be classified as Italian. The fettuccini tastes like milk, thickener, and chicken stock. It was the worst fettuccini I have ever tasted. Lipton sidekicks would be better. The calamari was ok but clearly frozen. Not house made. The service was good however, very nice and attentive. Luckily, the server offered to take the uneaten fettuccini off our bill. Still our meal was $100 for 3 people. Definitely not worth the price tag. Unhappy.

We had the clam chowder soup and the super Hawaiin pizza. We were seated quickly and service was prompt. Soup and pizza were excellent. We had a very nice evening.

First time there Easter Saturday. Loved it! Won t be the last.

Returned to Zambellis after a few years away. The menu is large with a variety of items available. My group had lasagna, chicken parmeseana and a chicken sandwich. The food arrived very hot and the portions were generous. Each person enjoyed their meal and were satisfied on all levels. The service was good and the restaurant atmosphere is decent. I would recommend Zambellis for a good home made meal at a decent price.

A staple of the community and a must visit. Food is excellent, service goes over and above every time. They truely care about food allergies. Take one star off for the noise levels. Unfortunately its a big open room. Would be nice to have some noise suppression, but hardly a nuisance. Will be back again... And again. Dietary restrictions: Dairy, egg, wheat allergy, they have options.

Went as a family of 5, 3 adults and 2 children, The food was overall fine but unorthodox and lack luster for the ratings provided and the price paid. The garlic bread seemed stale and was basically just garlic buttered bread, the veal was smothered in sauce and seemed canned. The chicken parm was also smothered in sauce and was bland. My soup was awesome, but my salad was small portioned for the price. Childrens chicken fingers were excellent. Two of the chairs at our table were rickety and falling apart to the point where one of my young children asked the server for a screwdriver to fix it.

Wow! I just had the best beef barley soup in my life. Ordered 10 ounce prime rib that would be $50 dollars every where else and was $30 dollars and a fantastic dinner. Thank you! Service was great as well. Well done. Damn that was good!

An eclectic place with the smell of good cooking from the door. I LOVE that you can see straight into the whole kitchen which is clean. Ordered lamb souvlaki (nice big chunks of meat and they ask the doneness you prefer a surprise for souvlaki). Calamari, and a top grade pizza heavy with toppings. Very good Greek salad. The prices are probably a touch high for basics like spaghetti and a touch low for things like prime rib and lamb given market values. The menu is pleasing with so many exciting things next time I m having oysters. We live out of the area and grabbed a menu to stop in again. Vegetarian options: The Greek salad is very good. The menu has many things This is NOT a vegan place but a vegetarian could have a good meal. Parking: I do think there were more vehicles in the free parking lot than people and I couldn t help but wonder with the easygoing owner if these were not all patrons. Kid-friendliness: It s not a fussy place and a bit noisy so kids would be fine here. We will bring ours next time for sure. They would like the big antique gas pump at the front. Wheelchair accessibility: I think a wheelchair could roll straight in to a table.

Over an hour and 15 minutes for a family with 3 kids present. Absolutely unacceptable and the excuses from the owner were not any better. Will never return. Not a place to go if you don t have 1.5 to 2 hours to kill.

all so terrible, 2 and a half hour wait for are food. when it came out it was moist and soggy and hair in the food.

A bit disappointed as it has rave reviews and we were told by a friend that the food was amazing (at the west end location anyway) Restaurant was very dark and dingy feeling with flickering dim lights and walls that haven t seen attention in quite some time. The dry ribs as an appetizer were the best part of the meal. Cheese balls were essentially deep fried Cheese Whiz. The prime rib sandwich was just okay. Gravy had an odd taste and the vegetables that came with it were soggy and soaking in butter. Our hostess and server were very friendly.

The chicken fettuccine with baked cheese is ridiculously creamy and a large portion. My pops lovea ordering the lasagna. And here is the #24 pizza in medium..I basically destroyed it. Take out is great. But the atmosphere and the amazing aroma of the restaurant is definitely worth a sit down every once and awhile. Its been around a long time and they must pay accordingly to keep the quality of food up there. A must of you live or are in Leduc

Came in tonight and after 20 minutes of sitting there still no service. Got the waitresses attention a couple times and she didn t have that many tables all we got was bear with me. Couldn t even rate the food as we didn t even get the chance to order. Finally we ordered drinks, and after another 10min she still hadn t brought them. We eventually just walked out and decided to go have supper elsewhere. Won t be back.

Was not my first choice for the night, was going to try an old friends restaurant but it was fully booked. I was always curious about this place since moving into the area in 2016. Kinda got in the rut of familiar restaurants and dont eat out much. Since it was a special occasion and my wife and I never get out with 3 kids keeping us busy, we were up for something different. As it turns out, Leduc doesnt seem to have any bad restaurants that weve been to. We ended up having nachos, lamb souvlaki, lamb chops, and baklava. The service was great, drinks and food were great. It really made for a good, well-deserved night out. Definitely give zambellis a Try. We did, we had a great time. Oh, they also are set up for big groups.

The Prime Rib was great and, just the way I like it. The service was very friendly. The vegetables served with my Prime Ribe were exceptional! They were steamed to perfection, rolled in garlic and, absolutely Amazing. The au Jus had a lovely flavour. I would recommend this place. First time here, took our son here for his 16th birthday dinner based on the good reviews.. Super disappointed. Pizza sub had 2 pieces of thin lunch meat on it, super dry.. philly cheese steak was chewy, poutine fries and gravy were cold, didn t even slightly melt the cheese. Son ordered a medium rare New York steak. Came well done and looked to be minute steak. Before ordering my son a piece of cake, asked the waitress if they did anything for birthdays, they said they did, (since they have a large selection of cake, assumed they d bring a piece of cake) but they brought a muffin. The only thing at the table that was good was the pizza.

I have to say the lager beer was great, but my meal of Deep fried oysters was the worst I have ever had. Came cold and burnt, sent it back, and the oysters were brownd more and crisp, the vegetables were cold, and so was the rice. The lady on a table next had ordered fish and chips and they came burnt and cold inside and sent it back and replaced with a salad. My wife had seafood lasagna and it was fine. Will not recommend to anyone. Parking: Parking was fine.

If you want a family dining atmosphere where you feel like sitting at a family dinner table, this place is for you. Theres also a lounge section for those who would like to sit, have drinks, and watch the game. The staff... Weve been there a few times since our first trip in March of 2023, and each server has been friendly, down to earth, and helpful. If something isnt too your liking, they fix it. We had a birthday dinner for 12, and the service was amazing. The menu offers a lot of selections. The only thing I didnt love so far was the mezze (I think) plate, but that was more because I didnt read the description properly. Id highly recommend the pizza, and they have a great craft beer on tap thats brewed exclusively for their restaurant. Really... its good beer!

Rude staff, bathroom counter had a dirty ceiling tile with mouse (?) droppings on it the whole time we were there. Friend with us complained about it and it was still there when we left.

This place has been on my husbands bucket list since before we moved away 8 years ago. We tried the pizza. He said hed have 2 slices, but we both ate half a pizza.

Not my cup of tea but in leduc there isnt much choice. It seems family owned and run which is always a plus. I ordered chicken fingers with a salad and fries. The chicken was over cooked but otherwise it wasnt bad. I noticed some seafood dishes on the menu which I may try next time. The decor needs an upgrade and the waitress mist have been new as she was slow when it was a quiet day (Tuesday night). My coworker ordered Philly cheese steak and scalloped potatoes which were cut up too thick as far as scalloped potatoes go. May give it another chance next time Im up there.

A little worn down on the outside but don t let that deter you. Cozy and clean atmosphere on the inside. Initial interaction with was excellent. Family safe restaurant with good selection and menu choices. Portion size for the price is excellent! Becoming a rarity these days. Beer on tap selections are a nice surprise as well.

Best Prime Rib and King crab in Edmonton

The prime rib was Terrible. For a place that puts prime rib on their building and advertises like that, should have a pretty decent prime rib. This one was garbage. If you ask for medium and they slice your piece of prime rib and notice it is well done, they should not serve it to you. They also used commercial grade beef. The server was fantastic and environment was friendly.

Always had a good experience till yesterday my steak was well done and asked for medium rare also they over cooked my husbands steak to medium well when he wanted medium rare they attempted to fix it only to serve him a steak that was blue rare. Usually the cook on their steaks are spot on but last night was dismal for my rib eye and my husbands NY strip. Itll be a while before I ever go back and 8 usually go once a month.

First time visiting. We ordered the schnitzel and the lasagna. My schnitzel was good, I enjoyed it but I probably wouldnt order it again. The lasagna looked good and I was told that it tasted good... but I never personally tried it. Sorry I didnt take any pictures as the restaurant seemed dark and I didnt want my flash going off while the other guest were eating.

The best steaks we have had in a restaurant in a very long time. Cooked perfectly , great portions and wonderful tasting. Our waitress Brianna was awesome. She was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. What we needed after the end of a long hunting trip !! Food

Though pricing is slightly higher than the norm Zamballis has an excellent and tasty presentation of food Delights that give your palate Sensational Delights! Saying this II went with my wife for our anniversary and were extremely surprised with the service and the atmosphere of the place and how it had changed over the years... now we are banned from this restaurant for not being vaxed and having the MARK to get in! Sorry Zambellis we will only use the restaurants that were willing to do the right thing during Covid and not cause and use discrimination ànd segregation against its patrons!

Our waitress was great (brought our kids food out first), our food was okay, and my kids chicken fingers were delicious. I was very excited to try the food here. Unfortunately, I wasnt overly impressed with my dinner, nor my husband, or MIL.
