Famous for our 28-day aged Certified Angus Beef, top quality products and exemplary service.
Amazing service. Fantastic food. Great location. Too many choices on the menu.
Excellent, excellent steak, cooked to perfection. Local aged Albertan beef fillet mignon 6 oz was cooked and seasoned just perfectly. I enjoyed every bite. I look forward to coming back to Edmonton just so I can enjoy this meal again.
Wow! What a delicious meal we had here. My steak was amazing...cooked medium rare to perfection and seasoned just right. The bacon and fig jam with bread was the best appetizer I've ever had! 😋 Our server was chatty and attentive. It was a cozy atmosphere and clean.
Our party of 12 ranged in age from infant to 85. We were given a great table setup for visiting. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Service was excellent. Quiet atmosphere allowed conversation. We would definitely go back. Also, we didn't try the Sunday brunch buffet, but I've heard it's quite good.
I had the pleasure of having lunch with a few of my colleagues here, and overall, the experience was quite delightful. We were all very impressed with the quality of the meal. The food was simply splendid. Rhe flavors were rich and satisfying. It was clear that a lot of effort went into making the dish, and we thoroughly enjoyed everything that was served to us. That being said, there was one minor issue that detracted from an otherwise excellent experience. We ended up waiting for around 30 minutes before our meals arrived at the table. While this didn’t completely spoil the occasion, it did make us feel a bit restless, especially since we were on a lunch break. A bit more promptness in service would certainly enhance the dining experience for customers who may have limited time. Aside from that, I must say the ambience was quite nice. The restaurant had a warm and welcoming atmosphere that allowed us to relax and enjoy our time. The decor was tasteful, and the space felt comfortable and inviting. We will definitely consider coming back for another meal, though we hope for slightly quicker service next time.
Toughest steak I haven't had in a while. I'm not sure why, though. Perhaps it was frozen? I ordered medium and seemed to be cooked at the right temperature, but it was just so tough. It was to the point where we couldn't finish it. Yorkshire pudding was quite bad, too, very dry, unlike the fluffy texture I'm used to. The beet salad, however, was ok. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone looking for steak. Shame.
We had our anniversary dinner last night and it was an awesome experience. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and shown to our table. Our server, Ryann was super friendly and very helpful with the menu for both drinks and food. Our drink order was quick as well as our appetizers. The food came out piping hot and my prime rib was perfect as was my husband's meal. Ryann was very attentive to us and made sure we had everything we needed. Delicious food and excellent customer service. We will definitely be back.
I'm going to be honest. I have eaten here before with my wife, and it was good. This time, we were celebrating with the family. First, the server was awesome. Fantastic. I started with the French Onion soup, and had the 6 oz tip sirloin with peppercorn sauce. One of my sons had the 9 oz steak sandwich. My wife had the 9oz top sirloin steak with button mushrooms. My daughter had the Kobe burger, and my other son had a half rack of ribs. My family had the calamari. First, the soup was overly toasted on top. The server had me commenting to my wife and offered to replace it 3 times. I was okay with it. I was just commenting. It was actually quite tasty, if a bit salty. The calamari was not a large portion, decor the $18 price tag. The temperature of all of the steaks seemed off. I had medium rare. There was no juice. My son had medium, with lots of juice. My wife had medium rare with lots of juice. My actual steak was barely warm. Both my wife's roasted veggies and mine were stone cold. I didn't eat them. I didn't complain. I just didn't eat. The sauce was super hot, as were my fingerling potatoes. They don't offer baked potatoes anymore, for some reason. There were no fixings (sour cream, chives, bacon bits). My daughter, unfortunately, didn't like her burger. The sauce and the cheese didn't stir her. The fries were good, though. Overall, I was let down. It seemed the quality and offerings had declined substantially since our last visit. Sadly. I really don't think it was worth the high prices.
Brunch was ok at best, a lot of the food was cold or not well prepared
For the price of the food, it was not worth it. I won t be going back. Ordered the undecided and the steak was cooked properly to medium but it was so tough! The sauce tasted like ketchup maybe mixed with a bbq sauce. Potatoes tasted like boxed potatoes. When you re paying over $100 for your meal I would expect a nice steak! I should have stayed home and made my own meal. The staff were very friendly and fast.
Parking: Good Food
Great service. Lauren b was great
Great service and wings
Went for brunch and was pretty disappointed. I was excited because there arent very many places that offer brunch buffet and last time I went a few years ago it was very good. Our reservation was at 12 and brunch started at 10, the whole restaurant was empty which we werent mad about since we had the whole place to ourselves. Our server was awesome she greeted everyone once they came in, took drink orders and came back with the drinks pretty fast and she was very friendly. Once it was time to hit the brunch buffet thats when things got ugly. Hashbrowns were dry and unseasoned, prime rib carving was cold, scrambled eggs were watery and inedible, the Eggs Benedict was dry and the hollidase sauce was noticeablely powdery and tasted stale. The bacon and sausage were good and the toast was good. They had a few lunch items one was beef stroganoff which was stuck together in one big pile and was hard to get a full scoop, they also had snapper fish which sounded good but was burnt. Ive always had a great experience ordering off the menu but if your thinking about going for brunch dont bother. Just stick to the menu. $35 a plate and I left hungry.
perfect as always. Parking: blah blah Food : 5/5 |
Food was good, not a lot of people late on Wednesday in fact only 1 couple sitting and another after we arrived. Ordered quickly. Ordered french fries - got mashed potatoes. Waitresses could dress better for work in no family job is letting your stomach hang out appropriate. Mandatory tipping??? Probably will not return.
Pat was our server and he was amazing! Helped us with picking a wine that was perfect for our meal. Super kind and genuine.
Wonderful food and service, I definitely recommend!
Good service and food for my dads birthday dinner
Ryann was excellent!!!
Ryann was fabulous!
Ryann was AMAZING. great recommendations with the steak sauce and bacon wrapped scallops. Very impressed with her efficiency and water refills every time my cup was empty. LOVED everything about this experience
I enjoyed my dinner and my server Taylor was quick and friendly
For the price of meal should be way better. 16 0z prime rib and potato was cold totalky reheated in microwave. The day old Yorkshire pudding was tough day old. I spoke will manager. sterling said that s how it is and if I don t like Yorkshire order a new one. lol. He offered me a free beer ? I came for a good meal. Not a free beer. I have no issue paying for a great meal. But when it s cold and sub par and they still want $60. Bucks. It s a scam. Day old Yorkshire and cold re heated prime rib. And potatoes like glue. Not fine dineing. Better food in Camp Wapasu. 100 and was free. Don t recommend Sawmill Leduc. A free beer does not cover a poor meal. He should actually go to management school.
Waitress was super slow took over 15 mins for our 1st drink 30 minutes for our 2nd drink. Walked by our table at least 4 times before we could catch her attention. At least half of us had issues with our meals. She got our order wrong, steaks were cold or not done properly. Very disappointed in the service. Went for a friend s birthday will not be back to this establishment. And then after all that management did a 18% auto grad on all our bills on top of our tips. Never again will I go back.
Amazing food. Lauren was great! Will be back.
Lauren rocked it. Great food.
If you like your food to taste like nothing other than butter and garlic, than this is your five star place. They do that brilliantly.
Nice lounge... Tuesday and Thursday wing night is a great deal! The staff are friendly and very attentive. Parking: Plenty of parking in an open lot
This restaurant is a FIND! My family and I just moved to Edmonton from Vancouver Island and we stayed at a nearby hotel while waiting to receive our house keys. I asked a local where to find a good steak and was directed to avoid several places and go HERE. We were so mind blown by the food that we returned the next evening and brought our drivers to thank them for moving us. I am that person who asks to try a bite of everyone elses food because I always want to know how things are: the ribeye was even more tender than the tenderloin! WHAT??? The prime rib beat anything any of us have ever tried and this says a lot as I am originally from Vancouver and ate at Gothams, Hys and Elisa regularly. The beef in Alberta is unrivalled to begin with, but this place knocked it out of the park on all levels. The mushrooms caps were deadly, as were the wagyu meatballs, and our East Coast friend said his Oscar was better seafood than he used to eat on the East Coast! The atmosphere was extremely welcoming and the wine list, cocktails, etc did not disappoint. The price point was great as well, we were actually shocked at how reasonable the bills were considering we ordered everything and had really nice wines. Then we get to the most fun part of the evening, our waiter, Pat. Old school gent from Quebec, he was hilarious, charming, he made it feel like we were old friends and family members. I cannot say enough great things about this restaurant. My husband and I have decided we will send friends there as soon as the exit the airport so we have an excuse to eat there frequently when we pick our friends up. 10 out of 10 all the way. I wish I had taken photos. Dietary restrictions: One of my children is celiac and was accommodated quite well, there were a handful of great options for him but as he is a picky eater, he devoured the wagyu meatballs repeatedly. Kid-friendliness: We didnt see many children in the restaurant; however, the staff were welcoming and great with my children as well as the others we observed. My observation was that children are welcome as long as they are behaved and respectful, not that this was said to us. I wouldnt recommend putting other guests experiences out by bringing crying babies or toddlers as it is more of a casual fine dining experience, people go there to enjoy a peaceful meal and laughs with their table.
Lauren is amazing bartender and server!
Excellent food a service. Lauren was amazingly bartender and server.
Had a wonderful time here celebrating a graduation. Food was great not too long of a wait for what we ordered. Raya was our waitress and she was very kind, friendly and very efficient. Would recommend and will be coming back soon
Waitress was very friendly. Prime rib was a 7 out of 10
Went for the brunch buffet and it was very delicious, only reason not a 5 star is it feels a little over priced and the beef/ham carving station was cold, and the beef was very chewy .. other than that great experience!
Lexie was amazing, thank you for making my first time in Edmonton so special!
A quiet Sunday night with amazing Prime Rib! Lexie is amazing, to boot! Dietary restrictions: Accommodates for nut allergies Food : 5/5 |
Pat the waiter was great
Great food & service!
Excellent place for a great meal. Steak was perfectly cooked, tender, and delicious, and accompanied by fresh grilled veggies. The decor is very nice, lighting is good, staff is very friendly. The menu is concise so you can expect that things come out of the kitchen fresh. We will stop by again if in the area, maybe make the four hour drive just to get back there,, but not sure.
Pat was our waiter for the evening and was extremely attentive. Food was amazing, prime rib and dessert was a decadent chocolate dome around a brownie with melting hot rumchacata and ice cream. Food-gasm!
This is a hidden GEM in Leduc the staff are awesome every time. The food is better than the descriptions each time I have eaten here. Fast, great atmosphere brings me back all the time.
Great big plates of prime rib!
We had our anniversary dinner tonight at the Leduc Sawmill and it was awesome. We were greeted as soon as we entered the restaurant and shown to our table shortly after. Our server was Ryann and she was super friendly and helpful with the menu. Our drink order was quick as well as our appetizer. The food came out piping hot and my prime rib was perfect. My husband s steak was so tasty and tender. She was very attentive to us and made sure we had everything thing we needed. Wonderful food and excellent service. We will definitely be back.
Had the beef dip with onion soup for lunch. Was satisfying and the soup was excellent. Great service and good food.
Top notch service, food and atmosphere Special thank you to Nikki! Made the experience exponential! Food : 5/5
Nicky paid such close attention to my service, and was so good at making sure i was happy, that i have no choice but to come back here to eat again. Great job, everyone!
Ordered fish and chips, which were served cold, which completely killed it for me. I wasnt asked once how the meal was, ate what I could, and afraid if I said anything and that it would take twice as long as it did just to get the meal right in the first place, I let it go. The server asked how things were just because it was time to pay, and I replied, Things could have been better. Bothered by my comments, she walked away and completely ignored my concern. Having been on that side of the industry, she could have done more but chose to be arrogant and dismissive. I did my part as a paying customer and left a tip for the terrible service. This is really disappointing, provided that the place was practically empty. Certainly not returning to this restaurant. Even the fries were lukewarm and stale.
EDITED: We had a tough experience a few weeks ago with service (but good food). They reached out to us and invited us back for brunch to give them another chance. Food and service were all excellent. Great selection for food and we were well taken care of by the staff. It was a great experience and will definitely return again.
Absolute wonderful time!
Great food and even better waitress, you definitely have to go see Nikki!
I bring my clients here all the time for lunch normally sit in Nicole s section and she always makes the difference between a ok lunch to a great lunch. Parking: Many spots. A little tight at lunch but not to bad
Waited at front door to be greeted and seated took 5 min , not very busy so not sure the issue , was seated in a booth . Table was dirty but it was set , the menu was very dirty , gave it to the waitress to clean . Went to washroom , no papertowel to wipe hands as both dispensers were empty had to use my pants me and another person. I was the first to person to be seated from 3 tables but the last one to get my drink order taken . Ordered French onion soup it was tasty , lobster mac and cheese also was good , then the dommed chocolate dessert which was very elaborate but not very tasty looked great but kinda bland which is odd for chocolate, caramel and ice cream . The manager took the dessert off the bill which was nice but not needed. I will give them a second chance next time I am in the area .
One of the best sawmill meals I have had. Friendly staff looked after us
Outstanding, courteous service with exceptional Prime rib.
Well the food sucked the steak undercooked . The lobster over cooked and mushy could tell it was frozen I have bought better from Walmart not impressed When you only go out a few times a year , you want a great meal steak and lobster . Looking forward to it all summer $450 dollars and I came home and had toast and jam Never will eat there again honestly the chefs should be ashamed of putting out that kind of crap
Nicole is such an excellent server. She is congenial and always attentive to us when we come in. Always are very happy when we get seated in her section!
Our server Peter N. made our experience absolutely wonderful from beginning to end! We came in an hour to close and I apologized as I also work in the industry and he was so kind about it! I also had a dairy allergy and he was very thorough making me feel comfortable with what I ordered. We will be back when visiting again!
Everything was excellent, with 1 exception. Ordered medium rare prime rib and received the end piece of the roast and was cooked well done
Service: Jody is an exceptional server and made dinning very comfortable and enjoyable. She is there to check on you and get what you need but doesnt intrude on the meal. Even if you are just drinking water she makes sure to keep your glasss full. As well gave suggestions. Shes the type of server that makes it enjoyable to go out. Food: Seasoning was great on everything. The only down side was the yorkshire pudding with the roast beef was big and dry. It would have been better if it was smaller. Atmosphere: For being in hotel area by the airport it was nice but nothing special. Clean.
I think this is the last time I come here. It used to be one of my preferred places to go but my last 3 times were very disappointing. I ordered a tea with cream. When I took a sip, I told my wife it tasted old or something. Then something green floated to the top. Then I started with the French Onion soup. It was obviously microwaved. It was hot for like a minute and the bowl itself was lukewarm. A baked soup would leave the bowl really hot. I had nachos with extra chicken. Dont pay for extra chicken on that because they charge you for 10-15 little crumbs of chicken. The nachos themselves werent bad and it was a huge plate. Its just not what it used to be. This was the third strike in the last 4 months.
We stopped in for Sangaria Saturday and steak- our server Annika was absolutely amazing. We had an appetizer and the filet that was melt in your mouth. The entire atmosphere was friendly and very accommodating. I highly recommend stopping in! The menu looks great and I look forward to coming back to try more items!
This restaurant experience was even better than the last time we dined here! Feelin FANCY! Food
I ordered a chicken cordon blue thru door dash. The app said call restaurant for special instructions . I asked for no peppers due to a severe allergy...epi pen and er type of allergy. I was put on hold and then told the cooks said no problem and no peppers would be in the order. Order arrives and I smell the peppers as soon as I grab the bag. I open the box and there.huge!!! Red peppers touching my the potatoes and chicken (entire meal) . I called the restaurant to let them know of this mistake and how I now have no meal. The manager didnt seem very concerned and just said next time talk to me the manager as we have new staff. How am I suppose to know whos the new staff and isnt the staffs job to listen and follow thru with allergy alerts. I had to throw the meal out that wasnt even very warm and now dealing with door dash. Please dont eat at this restaurant if you have a severe allergy etc as they dont care its going to require a Epi pen and a er visit. Don waste your money as the portions arent very big. I was warned the chicken would be tasteless and dry but I never got the chance to try it for myself. Solution call and wait for a hour or 2 for a refund and reorder but the restaurant will closed by then. Stay far away from this place unless you wanna get sick Dietary restrictions: If you have a allergy they dont make sure the order is free of the allergy. They dont make accommodations and dont care if it would have made you very sick potentially die
Brunch is back at the Nisku Sawmill and it did not disappoint! Friendly, attentive staff and a delicious assortment of food offerings. The sticky toffee pudding was amazing! Thanks to our server Lexie for the wonderful service. We will definitely be back again for brunch.
Calamari was ok. The smaller pieces were good, but the bigger rings were like rubber bands
For those that do not know the Sawmill restaurant the Sawmill use to be a place that if you where trying to impress your date it would be a great place to do it.I use to go go to to the restaurant in the west Edmonton on I believe it was 170 street quite often the atmosphere was great and the food put restaurants like the keg and such to shame. I just had the misfortune of ording and eating for the Sawmill on sparrow Street in Leduc. There is nothing I can say good about there food.. I ordered the Sawmill burger that comes with fries and ordered gray for the fries. The burger was tasteless and looked like it was thrown together but even worse than the burger where the fries and gravy. The fries where over cooked and are basic no name frozen fries and canned gravy that was enough heated enough that it was almost in a jelly form. McDonalds actually puts this store to shame at least there fries are editable. The Leduc Sawmill might as well put pool tables in and try and joining a pool league because I have been to lots of corner bars that have pool teams that serve way better food than that restaurant. There food definitely can not compete with the standards of a real Sawmill restaurant.
The service is everything here! Nikki is honestly one of the best servers in the industry. She is consistently sweet, attentive and has a phenomenal sense of humour! She is hands down one of the main reasons I bring clients here.
I had the pleasure of being served by Nicole for over a year, and the experience has been exceptional. From the moment we were seated the first time, She has been attentive friendly and offering insightful recommendations. Hands down one of the best service providers i have experienced. I would highly recommend taking the time to stop in and visit her.
Good service. Fast!
Great food, great service!
The food was a bit slow, however it was very good.
Lauren is always a delight and is committed to making everyones experience a memorable one. Thank you for being you and for always giving such amazing service.
Lauren is amazing. She makes everyone around her smile and feel comfortable. She is, by far, the most efficient and personable bartender my wife and I have met in all of our travels. Kid-friendliness: Its kid Friendly
High end steakhouse prices but mediocre food. Steak was ok flavor but cut way too thin to be able to order medium rare. Was suprised it was ready in about 5 mins though.
I went back again, it s hard to find better steak and service than at Sawmill. Lauren at the bar and the lounge staff are amazing. I had the best filet mignon ever today. And go for the baileys crème brûlée..
Every time I stop in at the Sawmill I have a good experience. My meal was 12 ounce prime rib dinner done to perfection served to me by Lauren! Who was excellent at her job. Thanks again Lauren!!
great food. The prime rib was a full piece not full of fat. Great service.
Two recent experiences here recently were both fantastic. One was my sister s pre-wedding rehearsal dinner with 35 guests. Usually for a party of this size the service is slow and food takes forever - not at the Sawmill, we had two servers for our table which meant we were never without a drink and our entire meal (including many people ordering appetizers) was just over 2 hours. Extremely reasonable and a wonderful evening. The prime rib was probably the most ordered at the table and feedback was positive. I had the filet mignon which was lovely. My husband and I returned today, before flying back to Vancouver tomorrow, to have dinner just the two of us. We shared a bunch of appetizers instead of ordering dessert and they were all extremely tasty! (Pictured). I d say my favourites were the calamari and bacon wrapped scallops. I d recommend Sawmill for anyone looking to book a large party, but also for just a casual dinner out.
I came here last Sunday with my family to celebrate my wife s birthday, It was our first time coming to this restaurant and wow!!! Firstly the food was amazing and the cherry on top of our great experience was our server Raya she was very polite and understanding Great job sawmill.
Lauren is wonderful to deal with. Greets you with smiles and makes your evening filled with laughter and comfort. Parking: No problem finding spot
We went with a group recently & sadly, the food quality has really gone down hill. All of our meals were extremely salty to the point where I dont believe anyone finished their plates. No options for cake other than chocolate, a desert order for one of our guests was completely missed. By the time it was brought out (after complaining) it was too late as everyone else had finished theirs. Very disappointing as we used to really enjoy the Sawmill.
Amazing food and amazing service. Kendra B took great care of us, we will definitely be back!
My breath is taken away by the service of Alexa on the bar. She is so friendly and knowledgable about all the food items and beverages on hand I couldn t ask for a better server.
Excellent service the manager was greeting us and checking personally him self to make sure we enjoyed everything
Annika provided amazing service and the food was excellent!
Lauren makes a good caesar. Parking: Lots Wheelchair accessibility: Accommodating
Vegetarian options: Several veggie options Parking: Hotel parking Food : 5/5 |
Lauren was very friendly and we had a great experience!
Lauren was extremely knowledgable about menu items. She makes the best cocktails in the whole province of Alberta
The service and atmosphere was great. The food tastes great. One mark off for gristle in the rib-eye. Able do do gluten free as well.
Our server Kendra B. was awesome. Food was good. Nice pleasant meal. Thank you
The food was delicious, and the service was awesome. Electric atmosphere
Decent place bad waitress had to ask for my drink like 6 times she did not come by once the food was not good at all Over cooked to the nines I worked 13 hours so i ate it i said it was not good i said id pay full price its fine she said well i like it And i said i dont care if you like it I dont but i work again in 7 hours so i dont have time to re order and wait on her for another hour Would not recommend
Great food and outstanding service
Went for dinner there on June 29 th. I wasnt to sure if I had the menu ,,very limited ,, soo fair enough ordered the food arrived in a reasonable time but to my surprise the plate was half empty,,,, the party I was with as well as myself had to go get food elsewhere when we left after an outrageous bill ,,,, I wondered why there was only one other table being served ... would never go back. Now if in the area check our Blackjacks next to the flying j. In nisku you will being taking a take out container with you when you leave. And wont break the bank
Super delicious food, super friendly and attentive service. Great service. Cordon Bleu was very tasty. Bud Light beer was great.
Im incredibly surprised. Finding a restaurant like this in such an inconspicuous area. Im absolutely thrilled. The service was great, the waitresses are gorgeous and the food was outstanding. This is a sauce that was recommended to us and was the icing on the cake.
From the outside its a bit more inconspicuous. However, the restaurant is impressive when you go in. Very nice ambience and good lighting, not too bright and not too dark. The waitresses were very friendly and attentive and we quickly got a table for 7 people without a reservation. As a starter I had the melted goat cheese with figs, I can only recommend this, very tasty. For the main course I had the dish for undecided people, consisting of rib, steak, 3 prawns, mashed potatoes, beans and slightly spicier corn. The quality of the food was very good, my steak, which I ordered medium, arrived medium and was super good. I can only recommend the restaurant. Parking: There are sufficient parking spaces in the surrounding area.
Grat food, close to all the hotels.
It was expensive and marginally okay. We picked what we thought would be the best choice around the airport hotel district. The Yorkshire Pudding was great. We ate Happy Hour and got billed full price on all our selections. Bar was sticky even after requesting a clean. Its off our list for any potential repeat visit.
What a great place to eat! I sit at the bar where Lauren always serves me exceptionally well and makes really delicious old fashioned!
Great food and staff
we were here to celebrate an anniversary with extended family and the experience was terrible. Service was almost nonexistent, had to flag down the server multiple times, empty water and coffee cups sat for 10 minutes until finally we had to ask for a refill. Everyone s food was just OK, but for the price point you would expect muuuch better. Don t think we will come back again.
Food is ok. Superb Customer Service. Our Server Yamel is so kind and accommodating. Definitely will comeback. Highly recommended.
Nice place. Food was good, service prompt.
1 tables and another customer at bar, otherwise place was empty. 2 managers sitting in a corner twiddling their thumbs and ignoring the customers. Waited 15 minutes for someone to come out from the back and take order. Steak was over cooked, sent back. There was no issues with 2nd steak. Managers pulled server and were again ignoring the needs of customers, waited another 10 minutes for the bill.
Had a great steak on my 65th Bday. Nice desert too.
Food is okay compared to prices and quality and that is if your server gets it right. After eating we ordered some dessert for take out and they sent wrong item. Asked for separate bill but did not get that. We tried again via Door dash and they send completely wrong item. Atmosphere is not welcoming. Vegetarian options: There is tomato soup and salad, fries only in vegetarian options. Wheelchair accessibility: Restaurant is wheelchair accessible.
Delicious prime rib!!
Had a 42 dollar strip loin steak. For a steak house you d think they d know better than to cut a strip loin ½ thick. Horrible. So chewy and gristley. No marbling at all. I ve had better steak at Denny s. My wife ordered the prime rib and 75% of it was pure fat. We spent 100 bucks between the two of us and we went away hungry. The service was good. But due to the poor food, we most likely won t be back.
Kendra B was a great waitress she got everything we needed and the food was better 10/10 best place ever best for birthdays or special days
This was our first time dining at Sawmill Leduc. We made reservations for the Fathers Day Brunch. I am pleased to say that this experience was perfect!!! We were greeted with energy and genuine pleasure. For being a buffet the food was hot fresh and really good. My wife and son wanted me to have a special Fathers day and the Sawmill really assisted in making that happen. From the assortment of amazing food, comfortable, atmosphere and excellent service, it truly did make it a great day. Thanks to everyone at the restaurant your efforts did not go unnoticed. We are very excited to return for another excellent experience.
Went there tonight for fathers day dinner. Had the fillet and the wife had sirloin I think. Over $100 with a tip (no apps or desserts) and it was some of the worst meat and potatoes we have had. Also very small portions. Its 3 hours later and were ordering something to eat. People were great but will not be going back.
No lunch options on the lunch menu anymore. Food was sub par.
Had prime rib and Yorkshire pudding. Meal was great. But a little bit expensive
Okay, but its expensive for what you get.
Good down-to-earth food, nice atmosphere
While its a steakhouse, there other items on the menu are very good. Rather heavy on the sauces and grease however. Service was slow especially considering how quite it was in there at a lunch time. Dietary restrictions: There are options for celiac allergies.
Friendly and helpful service, comfortable and cozy restaurant, if a bit dark. Hard to beat thier prime rib with Yorkshire pud. Some options a little pricey but what we had was quality Recommended dishes
The girl that worked behind bar made this whole experience horrible. She was rude and told me I didn t tip enough, I will never be back, on Mother s Day to top it off made me feel horrible
Sawmill has always been great in terms of food, service, and ambience.
Great food, service and overall experience. Made a last minute decision to go out for dinner and they were able to accommodate. Well done!
Calamari was over cooked so very chewy. But it was removed from the bill and they apologized. Prime rib was a large portion. We got the 12 Oz but thought it was more then that. Our waitress, Kendra, our waitress was fantastic and very knowledgeable on the dishes.
Very few places seem to wow there days but this place knocked it out of the park. Absolutely delicious bacon wrapped scallops! Those are a must for sure. Then top it off they bring me a steak sandwich that literally melted in my mouth. Youve gotta give this place a shot! The inside is nice romantic and very clean and the staff are super friendly and very helpful. Ill be back again and again for sure!! Thank you for wowing me!!
Great warm atmosphere with thee friendliest hosts and waitresses. The food came at a very reasonable time. My Brother Calvin a huge sports fan and stroke survivor loved viewing the sports memorabilia and photos. Would recommend you return more than once to experience the great food <3 Wheelchair accessibility: Various comfort seating for all with limited ability.
One of the best restaurant experiences I ve known. The appetizer was above average. But Lauren and Annika were fantastic; friendly, attentive and efficient. Well worth the visit.
Peter is great!! Had to start off with that. Anyway, this place deserves 5 stars by far. The food is delicious, the drinks and dessert are also delicious! The crab is very tasty, the butter thing amazes me. I love splurging here with my bf every night before I have to head home from a trip (new tradition!). Weve been twice. Same table, same music, same time, and same Peter! Hes a great server. He just gets us, you know? Treating my babygirl to dinner here is one of my favorite ways to spend my time and money :) cant wait for next time!
Didn t get asked once if I wanted a drink. It was a buffet this day and I believe I only saw the waitress once. Yea, I should have walked up to the bar and asked for a drink but I chose to wait. Nobody every came over, brutal.
Dietary restrictions: All of them h Food
Waitress was extremely friendly, loved the fish and chips!
I dont remember the servers name but she was fantastic! Celebrated my moms birthday and the food impressed us. Really good food and presentation and all employees were very welcoming. Had a great time.
Excellent on all counts and will definitely repeat
Have been several times now the food is always good and the service is great
Great place to chill with friends.
Was a great place to celebrate a birthday, went in at 4 and it was very empty, seated immediately, able to eat with our young toddler without anyone being disrupted. Service was great, steaks were awesome.
We meet for lunch once a month before Inventory and the food never disappoints. Most times we are in and out in a timely manner unless it is super busy.
Went here for the first time Friday night. Prime rib was dry and overcooked and extremely disappointing. Waited over an hour for entrees. Spent close to 300$ for one of the most disappointing meals of 2024 so far. I would probably never return or recommend.
This place always seems a tad loud. Service was just ok, not exceptional
They have the best Ceasars salad, and the steak was delicious! Our waitress was very friendly and efficient. Best meal Ive had in awhile!!
Absolutely amazing evening out. The waitress Mel was unbelievable. The manager/owner went above and beyond any place weve ever gone to. Highly recommend coming here.
Great food, but REALLY pricy for the quantity.
Average meal, average service, average steakhouse
Filet was not cooked as I ordered. Brussel sprouts side dish was overcooked .
Great food, great service, and relaxed. Nice lounge side with decent number of bar seats.
KOBE burger was amazing,
This place is awesome. Servers are beyond professional and friendly. Kid-friendliness: Our infant was served free food, he enjoyed his food. Food : 5/5 |
Fantastically cooked steak!
The food was ok. However the price fore what you got is way out of touch. As well as the fact that it took forever for it to get to our table and it wasn t very busy
Great service and food will go back.
I recently went here for Valentines Day dinner & our experience wasnt great , & we probably wont be going back tbh. Although the atmosphere was really intimate & we had an amazing waitress, we felt the food wasnt very good, especially for the price that you pay, & we both found the menu super limited. We actually considered leaving . Also, I called the day before to make a reservation but was told theyd have lots of room & we wouldnt need to make one, but when we got there, we needed a reservation to sit on the dining side, & ended up sitting on the bar side, which we werent really impressed with. So, unfortunately, for being extremely excited to try the sawmill, we were very disappointed & probably wont go back as we know we can have a better night out somewhere else & feel more satisfied.
Ceasar salad was bland. Steak bites were super salty
Great dinner with coworkers. Everyone was friendly, and the food was really good (my steak was cooked perfectly).
Great presentation , and display variations of good food this morning 24 Dic Christmas brunch Delicious my compliments to the chef who took time to visit with me , and families another big thank the staff for such a great devices Merry Christmas And a Happy New year
Our family go to for fancy dinner
Worst Xmas turkey ever. It was rolled and everything was bland. We wont be ordering that again.
My husband and I have been here many times beforehand. This new years eve was very unexpectedly different. The service was very poor, and our food came out wrong. We paid extra for my husband to get a rib eye steak. He was served the standard steak from the new years menu. I ordered the chicken with tiger prawns and a bernaise sauce. I received 1 shrimp in total. Being upset we did not bother to complain and left as soon as we could. Just bringing this up because we were hoping to have a great evening and the restaurant set the tone for the night.
I liked everything, food, attention and service. To come back and enjoy, I recommend it
Excellent service
Had a wonderful time. The food and service was fantastic. 4 stars because they did not have an item on the menu.
A nice unpretentious steak house that served a remarkably good and tender center cut top sirloin! The sauteed mushrooms tasted suspiciously like canned mushrooms but the roasted garlic mashed and veggies were quite good. Portions a little small but are commensurate with the prices so overall a good meal deal. Will go back and try their Mains menu, especially the rack of lamb. I believe if anyone has the courage to offer lamb they know how to do it right!
Kid-friendliness: My kids loved the food. Food
Mel was s total pro dedicated to customer input! She chilled my red to cellar temperature!total pro.
Great food, great service.
Met some co workers for a quick beer, service was great, the price was right, and we had a comfortable large booth to sit and chat. Will come again!
Very nice staff and service..but food was way over priced for what we got ....250$ for steak dinner for 2 and a few drinks each ..again great staff and service but food was weak
Top notch, we will be back here for sure. Excellent food, service and pricing is fair. Portions are big and we walked out so full! Well recommend this to everyone I know!
Fantastic food and service! We wont even bother going to the Keg anymore, we are now #1 Sawmill fans! If I could afford to I would go back tomorrow! Portions are amazing and pricing is fair. Love this restaurant!
Stopped in Edmonton for the weekend. Super glad we had dinner here. Amazing food. prime rib was fantastic. Will definitely stop here again
Worst service ever. Very disappointed from the waitress.
First time here. Service was great. Food was delicious. Down bid your request for steak. My medium rare was medium, as most places. Next time Ill just order rare. Nice place.
A hidden gem in northern Leduc, amazing atmosphere, awesome food and service!
Always exellent
fantastic food and service. still the best prime rib.
Had a deadly steak, the veggies and Yorkshire pudding were also insanely good. Service was excellent and even bought some steak sauce to take home! Would definitely come back!
First time visiting. Appetizers were good. Iceberg salad was huge... an entire head of lettuce. Bacon wrapped scallops were delicious. Steaks were cooked as ordered. The undecided is a lot of food and perfect for those who cant choose. Service was fast and friendly. Definitely a recommendation. Dietary restrictions: Many gluten free options.
