20 minutes late with my pick up order that I called in 4 hours earlier...food was average...dining room like a high school cafeteria!

Food was fine, Had ginger Beef, chow Mein, chicken fried rice, everything was overcooked. When I picked up the food, the place was kinda dirty.

My absolute favorite place for fried rice and chicken balls. Fast, hot and consistently delicious!

Amazon food and portions, I think this place is more for take out, although we ate at the restaurant....absolutely delicious but again not much for a dine in experience Would absolutely order again, but take out...

I never leave reviews but this is the best Chinese food I ve had locally. It s fairly priced and tastes wonderful.

Thinking of a good Asian dumpling feast for a comfort food outing? This is the place! The pork and pork and shrimp dumplings are delicious. This is a family restaurant with busy takeout. All the standard local Cantonese dishes are represented but Id definitely save room for the dumplings!

Food is Bland, I asked for extra spicy.. It came bland and tasteless! I will never be ordering from them again, it happened before, but I thought it was a once off.... I called back, they said do you want us to remake it? I said yes(as it is now a day past) I called back an hour later to get them to make it for me, they refused to make it extra spicy and refused to do it for no charge, even though they are the ones that made the mistake! They offered me half price another one.. and being it that I dont have any money left because I spent it last night on them, I said I cannot do this, this was the end of conversation, and the END of my business with them! And no I will not be changing my review. Unacceptable and garbage! ROAST to you dumpling house!

We ordered two things of chow mien which is the bbq pork and chicken. The portion is really big and its really tasty. The service is excellent. All in all experience was great. I will definitely order from this place again.

There are places to sit but not encouraged. Great for takeout.

Foods great and the service is always good. Little bit of a wait with how busy it gets but the food is definitely worth it!

Slept on my review, Thought I was a bit harsh. Price is average, there was a LOT OF RICE and not much else and no option when ordering on line to switch to a noddle instead. The ribs were small and not much to them. the food wasnt overly hot ( pick up order) ; however, it all tasted good

Ordered some Dumpling House for dinner in a pinch at work tonight. Delicious food and generous portions, I was real happy with my meal from start to finish. Will definitely eat here again. Thanks for a great experience, Dumpling House. Food

We heard a lot of good things about this place but were very dissapointed with what we were served. It was basically a lot of food, take out cartons full but ..no flavour and all very starchy ..very few veggies and big raw uncooked onions. Salt and pepper chicken was just that SALT ...so much so we threw it out. Very nice people to deal with but not the food we had expected by a long shot.Its too bad because the West Side is lacking good restaurants.

Had BBQ pork fried rice and dry garlic ribs. They were fantastic, not overly garlic, just right. The rice was also excellent. Highly recommended. Parking: Excellent parking out front.

Ordered on website waited an hour and a half and my order was not even on their order machine. When I asked about order they were very unhelpful and couldn t give my money back had to phone website and hang on the phone for another hour

Food was great , loved the mixed vegetables. The right amount of salt. I was just turned off by the customer service. Am willing to overlook that as long as the food is great. Definitely the place to go. Loved the chicken fried rice too

This is THE ONLY genuine Chinese food in Lethbridge!!!! And if you like spicy and hot Chinese cuisines then tell the boss. Her name is Dong. Let her know you want REAL Chinese and she ll surprise your mouth and stomach!!! I ll give 1000 out of 5.

Fantastic food. 5/5 if I was basing my decision purely on that. The chow mein was flavorful, the breading on the chicken balls was light yet crispy, and the ginger beef was crunchy even with the sauce. There was a lot of sauce, which they couldve gone lighter on in my opinion. But the highlight was the pork dumplings. Great flavour profile, good use of ginger and onion with the pork, and the wrapping was excellent. The staff was prompt and courteous, and did well at keeping my drink filled. The environment is lackluster if youre dining in, but I personally value the quality of food much higher than the dining environment. Yet it could really use some improvement.

The food was OK, not great. We had a dinner for 3, the egg rolls were empty, sesame chicken was pale and pasty. Lemon chicken chunks were OK, fried rice just barely touched the fry pan. We had enough food for two meals for 3 of us, but we also purchased some Singapore fried rice stick-which was OK.

Not authentic, wasn t very satisfied

The Dumpling House has been really good. The food isnt greasy. Unlike so many others . I always get good service as well. The menu is varied so I plan to visit next time just for the dumplings.

We are absolutely obsessed with this place here in town. So glad we found it! It s our go to take out place. Price is affordable and their portions are so generous! Love their broccoli and beef especially!

Just beware you pay an additional 13 dollars to Doordash for delivery. Ok for large orders but too much for small. And no way to cancel if you added a credit card.

Good tasting chinese food

The ginger beef was NUCLEAR, the beef with broccoli was the BOMB. The salt and pepper squid was AIGHT. Plus, as an added bonus, we asked for some fried wontons and the wontons were FRIED and GOOD. Based place, dont expect top of the line Chinese food like all these people complaintin in the comments, its a take out only Chinese joint in Lethbridge, but for what it is, it is INSANELY RADICAL.

Ordered take out for a group of 4. The food is good and had actual signs of flavour instead of just overloading sauces with sweetness. Ginger was present in several dishes. Still very westernized but that is what we wanted anyway. It was good value for the cost and they will probably be our go-to for Chinese food.

I ordered the dumplings with hoison sauce and the pork bun. I never make reviews but this was some of the worst food I have ever had in my life! Waaaay too much salt (and Im a salt lover) it tasted like frozen food, probably could buy better at the grocery store. I hate to be negative, but definitely an awful first experience.

Best Chinese food in town

Cant give no stars. No flavour; sesame chicken was a dull, gelatinous, tasteless mess; the wonton were gross; no taste, cheap noodles, no chicken or cabage in the chow mein; ZERO flavour to the chicken fried rice (except for the freezer burnt carrots; spring rolls were miniature & mushy in the middle; couldnt chew through the ginger beef. A WASTE of $52.

Ordered for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. We had Chinese neighbours for several years who spoiled us with their cooking and the pork dumplings took us back to those days. Great flavour balance and freshness. Only thing we would change would be to request a little more heat in the ginger beef and Singapore rice noodles. But we ll do that for sure next time. Singapore noodles were loaded with good stuff, and ginger beef flavour was awesome. Staff was friendly and welcoming and we ll definitely be back.

Ordered through door dash. Overall for the price its 10-10. Crispy garlic ribs and more meat with the Garlic beef with fresh vegetables. Looking to try others in the menu next time.

I got a dinner for 2 with won ton soup, pork dumplings, and ginger beef. And an extra order of shrimp dumplings. The won tons and dumplings were great, fresh and juicy too. I thought the quality was great, Price was great, Taste was great, Value and quantity was great. Ill be going back again soon.

Now my favourite place to order from. Fresh and full of flavour, great service and good prices.

Very bland and greasy. I ordered the ginger beef, Szechuan chicken, chicken balls and beef dumplings. The Szechuan chicken was by far the worst item. It was so so greasy and tasted like they had dumped some Franks red hot on it. The chicken balls were large and were almost all chicken, which is good, but they tasted a lot like cornstarch. They werent terrible, but Ive had a lot better. The beef dumplings were also very greasy and had an overcooked, bland meatball inside (I ended up making my own dumpling sauce as the one that came with it was mostly oil and a bit of vinegar I think). The best item was probably the ginger beef. Although a little bland it wasnt bad. They do give you a lot of food, for your money, however the Szechuan chicken was definitely not worth the 15$ I paid for it. Wouldnt order again unless they change their recipes. Edit: Forgot to add that I did actually really like the fried rice. It was nice and seasoned and actually wasnt too greasy.

Dumpling house is the first Chinese food we have tried since moving to lethbridge, it was good. The ginger beef and lemon chicken were fresh and hot but lacked in flavor, the sweet and sour pork, fried rice and wontons in the soup were very good, although the broth of the wonton soup was bland. Very friendly service and clean restaurant, we would eat here again when craving Chinese food.

Finally found a great Chinese restaurant in the city. The dumplings are great too!

We ate a few bites before throwing everything away. The sesame chicken was literally smushed up chicken balls, there was grey chicken in the chow mein, the ginger beef tasted horrible and the fried rice tasted like chemicals. Worst Chinese food experience I ve ever had in my life. Image attached is smushed your chicken ball with sesame seeds on jt disguised as sesame chicken.

Family really enjoyed the food. Soup was bussin, Chow Mein was fire. Ginger beef,on point. Kids scarfed every thing on their plates, veggies and all. For real people. If this place keeps this up they be the best in town. 100% will return for more.

The food tasted like it was all frozen or freeze dried with some random vegetables in it. It was just Bad.

Wish I had scrolled through all the reviews before ordering. Chow mein was all noodles and grey chicken, with almost no vegetables or flavour. Both the sesame chicken and ginger beef had a really gummy coating and sauce was bland. I think this is the worst Chinese food Ive had in Lethbridge.

I would recommend this spot fair prices with plain food, I d bet they can make it the way you like it if you ask for extra crunchy or spicy but it comes out great for children or senior s. my big complaint is with my dinner for 3 I got pork dumplings and it only came with 8 wanton sized dumplings. They were good just expected more for a place with it in the name. The wonton soup tasted great, they must use real ginger in the broth and the meat dishes come with a good amount of meat telling from the ginger beef. The chicken choa mein was good but there wasn t enough chicken in it to call it that. But still if your craving Chinese food on the west end it is the place to order. Vegetarian options: There s enough options for vegetarians to eat here. Those people don t know what they re missing tho Dietary restrictions: It comes out very plain so the elders or spice dislikers can enjoy, seems to be low in msg Kid-friendliness: Again the food isn t spicy, the ginger beef was not crunchy at all and it wasn t tough either but it was sweet with a good hint of real ginger.

I have eaten at Chinese restaurants all over Canada and the US. This is the worst Chinese food I have ever eaten. It has no taste and they use too much salt. I was still thirsty six hours after I ate a meal from this place.

Absolutely one of the best Chinese restaurants in town. Ordered dinner from here today and the food arrived fresh, tasted delicious, great portion size, and price friendly. I absolutely love their take out/delivery containers. Its sturdy (so the food is well kept, arrived warm, and no mess), microwave save, and recyclable. Thank you for great food and thinking of the environment.
