El Greco cuisine in Lethbridge

I highly recommend this place! Delicious food and wonderful staff that know what they are doing! Would go back 10/10. Had the Spanakopita (delicious) Souvlaki with traditional meat instead of chicken (recommend you do this) and Baklava that simply melts in your mouth. If you are struggling to decide where to go, go here and have some Ouzo before dinner.

The family showed up for breakfast and there was 13 people. We ordered drinks them the waitress told us we had to all order the same thing??!!. How does that even make sense. They said a party of 8 and over needed a reservation. So then split the tables up then.. they lost business.

Walked in with a big group of 13, when entering no specific instructions were mentioned and they continued to serve us all of our drinks. Upon starting to order, they let us know that as big groups of over 8, the entire table must order the exact same item. That does not make any sense, and should have let us know about this specific stipulation before seating us down and serving us our drinks. Lost out in over 300$ in sales. (In their reply to my review, they mentioned that they had told the first couple in our group when they walked in, that they told us about this exception and that we would all have to order the same item, we were NEVER mentioned any of this specific rule. If we would have known about this rule, we would have gone to another restaurant in the first place, which we did regardless)

My favorite place for breakfast hands down! It can be busy on Saturdays, but it is definitely worth the wait. They also make incredible pizza! Id like to try more of their dishes. The prices are fair, and the staff is very friendly.

Wanted to try this place a long time but seemed to always be on days they were closed. First was disappointed that I drove to Lethbridge based on the online menus on their website only to realize it wasn t the same menu which as a chef I know this is a culinary no no. Pork souvlaki was very tough, pizza crust very tough, my lasagna was ok. Wife asked for a sliver of donair meat to try but we couldn t possible do that. Very disappointing

Service was good and friendly. Building was under renovation and seemed a bit dingy. Prices were definitely high for mediocre food (especially the appetizers which seemed grocery store bought). Pasta dish was watery. Wont be back for dinner anytime soon, have heard good things about their breakfasts - maybe that s their specialty?

Mercifully quiet restaurant on busy HWY 3. Popular among locals. Very clean with varied menu. Excellent breakfast options. A bonus is the counter with authentic Greek food products for purchase. Beware of tip option, though, if paying for both meal and purchase items as the tip option applies to both.

Unreal food, massive portions; 10/10 definitely Greek. Prices seem a bit high until you see the size of the plate you get. Theres a lot of oil used, so be wary of that if thats not your cup of tea. (I happen to love it though!) Service was lovely and very friendly! Felt very much like a family.

Top notch breakfast! Good sized portions, more then I could eat, friendly staff, clean. What more could you ask of breakfast on the road? Oh, and the coffee was decent as well (rarely is coffee GOOD unless you are traveling in Australia. After that, the best you can hope for in Canada is decent). As an aside, the serving robot kind of startled me at first. Skynet Breakfast helper?

First time ordering from this local business for take out. Very small pieces of chicken on the skewers. The 2 pieces of baklava were charred burnt black. My husband called to let them know and wasnt offered a credit or replacement. And I just learned that they argued with my husband that the baklava wasnt burnt. I have a photo that shows it was.

I had the Donair meal and it was more food than I expected! I needed my husband to help with the last bit. Absolutely wonderful service :) It was a great place to rest and refill after a long day.

This place is a hidden gem. We went last week and the food was so delicious, came out super quick, piping hot and is reasonable priced. My husband and I were very impressed and left very full. We will definitely be coming back.

My wife go in to el Greco at least twice when I am home since I work outta town. Food is amazing everytime we have been there. The veal cutlets are amazing. I like fountain pop and there Pepsi is excellent.. Chicken parm is amazing. I have never ordered it myself but orders are huge and I get to taste test my wifes order cuz she can never eat all you get. Easiest way to sum it up for me to say is you want excellent food in Lethbridge there is no competition for el Greco for Greek food or Western food. Forgot to mention staff is absolutely amazing people. When a restaurant has amazing food and amazing staff what more is there? I would recommend them and have to everyone I truck with. Enjoy great food and people in Lethbridge. This restaurant has it.

Huge menu and the food is amazing.

El Greco restaurant has good parking (wheelchair accessible) and an easy to find location. Their restaurant is clean with a nice seating arrangement and windows surrounding two sides. The meals are brought in a timely fashion, piping hot and the menu is well rounded with a feature meal offered as well. Great customer service. I like their calamari meal that comes with fries and coleslaw. Yum.

What a great experience. My wife and I had lunch and we were blown away! We started with the homemade mushroom soup and it was so delicious. I had the Greek salad with salmon. Sooo fresh and just outstanding. We ask the server if the chef was the owner and she replied yes. I then ask if she was part of the family and she told us she was the owners wife (thus owner as well :). My wife had the fish and chips and she loved it. We shared some of each others meal. If you havent been here, do yourself a favour and check this place out. We will be back and so will you once you experience this restaurant. Love it!

Really tasty Greek omelette and fantastic service. Omelette had lots of filling and they didnt scrimp on the feta. Im a fan of the cubed potatoes - they kind of have a shell on them and are really tasty. Cant wait to go back.

The food is very good and so is the service. Absolutely no complaints here. Well be back for sure. Have been there for both lunch and supper, good experience both times. Doesnt seem to be very busy, and thats a shame. They need to draw some of the nearby hotel business in, their food is much better than the casinos. Maybe put some brochures/ coupons at hotels or do delivery to them. Just saying Id hate to lose this place due to a lack of traffic. Go, eat, enjoy!
