Had the Chef s Special pizza and it was delicious. We were promptly and politely greeted upon arrival and our server provided excellent service. Highly recommend.

I ordered a pizza and it was one of the best pizzas Ive ever had. My husband had a veal cutlet and it was so-so.

Food was cold and bland. Family members all ordered bone in ribeye yet when our steaks showed up all had completely different cuts.

Consistently getting our orders wrong or missing items. Received two Spaghetti instead of Lasagna a couple weeks ago. Today received Lasagna without extra Meatballs and Fries without gravy. The Meatballs and Gravy are both additional charges.

Wasnt disappointed with the taste of the meal. Portions went down and prices went up. We all know that from each restaurant. I went here for my first time and would go back. I find its more for older folks which is fine.

I recently dined at Luigis in Lethbridge and had a fantastic experience. Jocelyne provided exceptional service she was personable, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect throughout the meal. The food was absolutely delicious, with flavors that exceeded my expectations. The restaurant itself is clean and offers a comfortable ambiance, making it a great place to enjoy a meal. The pasta is to die for. Having said that, the steak is as it should be. Although a busy restaurant and bar, the staff and other patrons were more than patient with active children. Thanks, Luigis, for the kids menu and activity (quiet) games!

Great food, we have been here three times in our last two visits to Lethbridge. Their pasta as well as pizza is really good! Staff are really nice and food comes out almost too fast. Would not hesitate to recommend. Parking is easy out front

Sorry to say I was disappointed with our food. The seafood linguine was not that good. The seafoods were cooked fine but they were small and limited. The pesto cream sauce was mainly cream and salt, very little pesto/basil. So very disappointing. The $17 greek salad was not worth it. It was a very large bowl of fresh tomato, cucumber, onion and green pepper but there were only 7 olives and a sprinkling of feta that got lost in the dressing that was swimming on the bottom. After asking for a vegan dish they delivered it say oh, by the way it has a little cream in it Sorry but that is just wrong. At their prices that is just not acceptable.

Both of us had the roast beef. I had been here last fall and remembered just how perfect the steak dinners were. Add the roast beef to the list of perfection!

High quality wait staff, excellent service, lackluster food. Recently stopped in for a steak dinner, was very disappointed in the meal. The starter ceasar looked like it was thrown on a plate with no care out of a bulk batch, The plating of the main meal (Rib eye with veg and mash) looked like it was done by someone at a self serve buffet not a high quality steak house. The seasonal veg offered as a side consisted of one piece of cauliflower and 3 battons of carrot. Not what you expect for a $50 plate. The host to seat me and my wife and the waitress that served us were both absolutely lovely, helpful and professional in all regards.

Went for mothers Day brunch. There could not have been anything missing from the buffet. From breakfast items to roast beef and desserts all was great. Parking: Although the restaurant was packed parking could be found.

I had a pesto marinara gnocchi that was amazing. Others had pizza which was very good and other feel good meals. These were all prepared well and everyone was satisfied. This is a must place to try. Our waitress was friendly and accommodating. I will definitely make this place a frequent stop when I am in Lethbridge.

Ordered deliver of Chicken Alfredo and cheese toast. The menu says chicken breast, I got 6 1/2 bite sizes pieces. Portion was the size for a child. Cheese toast a bun cut in half hard as a rock with barely any cheese. Cost 25 plus tax. Called to speak to manager got a very rude ignorant man who didnt even say sorry but while I was saying what was wrong got more rude and tried blaming skip the dishes like they made the food??? Then hung up on me.. So if you have money to throw away (AND I DONT) be my guest but make sure you order from another place too so you will be full.

Try the prime rib if you want to be impressed, everything on the menu tastes really good , amazing food.

I came in with my elderly mother in a wheelchair and the staff went out of their way to accommodate us. The lasagne we had was excellent. Thank you so much for the kindness and hospitality that you gave us.

It appears that based on reviews, experiences can be hit or miss- unfortunately we got a miss. We thought we d try this place after a sports competition. We were prepared to have to wait for a table walking in at dinner on a weekend but werent prepared for the rude way the host greeted us. We were pleasantly surprised to see that there was no line upon walking in and that it wasn t that busy; not dead but not slammed by any means. We were greeted by a teenage host who asked us what we wanted when we walked in- I was pretty caught off guard and stated we d like a table if we could, to which he rolled his eyes and asked for how many, we stated the four of us and he said he d ask someone to see and then walked away. We contemplated turning around and going somewhere else based on how rude the employee was but decided to give it a try since we were tired and the kids were hungry. That was a mistake. We got seated immediately without a problem the second the manager showed up and had drinks within minutes. That was the end of the positives. We were ready to order within ten minutes of walking in the door and specifically asked for a couple appies to start since the kids were hungry- the appies came out after our food and it was clear they had been sitting under the heat lamps the entire time and our waiter hadn t bothered to bring them. The food itself took an hour and fifteen minutes to get to our table, with the waiter telling us every ten minutes that our appies would be right out. Again, we contemplated leaving but we honestly felt like we had committed so much time into getting dinner here we stayed. The food was mediocre. Nothing terrible but not great. Mushy boiled vegetables like you d expect from a cheap diner but on a $50 plate of mis-cooked steak, okay pasta, and an underwhelming burger. The appies may have been okay but they had clearly been sitting under heat for so long no one bothered to take a second bite. The waiter filled our drinks once and apologized for the wait, he was friendly enough but really didn t seem like he could be bothered. Definitely not somewhere we d ever go back to.

there are two luigi s steakhouse. Northside and Southside, Run by two different families related but follow different guidelines. The Southside location is much bigger than the Northside but both have good food and excellent services. We recently did our christmas party on the Southside we had one waitress and we did not have to preorder as that was the biggest issue I have when I do christmas party. Also they allowed us to chose the tip. there was nothing automatically and in turn they got a bigger tip. price wise they are cheaper than the keg and their steak was excellent. their pizza is also very good. i recommend when you are looking for good food a decent price.

It takes a long time for the meal to come to your table. The kitchen needs to learn to pick up their speed a bit. Especially when it isnt very busy.

Busy night and Tyler, our server was excellent - fast, attentive and professional. Food was top quality as usual.

Went out for dinner with my family on Wednesday Eve Dec 20 for my moms birthday and had ordered the beef dip, I have to say the entire half sandwich I started with was complete grisel? It was un-etable it really turned me off of having anything else for dinner so I cant recommend it at all the rest of the family seems to be relatively ok with their meals but watch out for the prime rib beef dip. Cant say it will be a suggested place to go anymore for me. The waiter was nice, I returned the mostly uneaten portion and he removed it from the bill and did offer me something else but it was just bad at that point. Should have stuck with the pizza maybe!

Firstly we were sat in a booth next to a window. There was a terrible cold draft, we had to keep our coats on. When our food arrived, those in our party who had a baked potato, it was cold. The worst was the chicken carbonara. The chicken that they used was bad. We sent it back and when the manager tried it, they threw out the entire lot of chicken. How do you not know the chicken is bad before you serve it? Our server was very apologetic and brought me a new meal.

Service was very slow, especially considering the restaurant was near empty. Food was decent and the atmosphere was cozy.

This is my new favorite restaurant in Lethbridge, their prime rib is always great, my kids like the kids menu, ( a little limited in selection, but also understandable), their menu has a good selection when it comes to prices. I would suggest that you make reservations, it seems to be a popular place.

January 2024- Dinner was served for a private family function. ALL of the children were left till last. That is the most inappriate, ridiculous thing Ive ever seen, the adults all with a plate of food and no food served yet for any of the children, thus there they sat. Waiting. The waitress we had was a crank. My daughter asked for just a few swallows of wine as she is nursing a baby. Waitress didnt stop when daughter said ok. In fact, daughter had more than double the wine in her glass than all other adults. We also noticed how often manager needed to walk back and forth through the room, supposedly for this or that. Totally unnecessary. Its a private event. Smell of weed in the kitchen and not enough food for all of our guests.

First and foremost your one waitress need some training for table etiquette... any time I would say thank you shed just walk away without even a smile. Accept when I got up to go to the washroom.... she initially had her hair up pulled back etc.. I come back to find out she had a discussion with my husband said your welcome to him and her hair down being flirtatious.... maybe dont flirt with your male customers when their wife leaves.. and just be a decent human being and acknowledge someone. As well as use your manners.... my hubby liked his good however my meal was disgusting.. I got the beef dip. Sandwich was dryer than dry and my fries were so greasy and undercooked I literally didnt even finish my meal. And not to mention you circled your name with a thank you on the cheque for my husband.... definitely wont be back again... and thats to bad cause who Id assume was the manage was very very nice when we first walked in

Absolutely love this place. Just moved to Lethbridge with my 3yr old daughter and everyone went the extra mile in my books. Pretty sure it was just normal for them to be so nice and always big smiles. The pizza is superb and cant say enough about the service and atmosphere. See you soon

I ordered food from luigis steak house (over $100 worth). Half my order came in wrong. The potatoes for our dishes tasted like grainy instant mash potatoes. I called to try to get this rectified as mistakes happen. First got told I would get a call in 2 days. Then no one called me. I called them to follow-up again. The person I had on the phone is rude. Not willing to rectify the mistake, and ended with him hanging up on me. Would not recommend eating here. Terrible customer service!

I was traveling through Lethbridge and was hungry so I stopped at this restaurant and ordered take out. This place was very appealing and the staff was attentive and friendly. The pizza was tasty but the crust on the bottom was lacking crispness, so it could have maybe been left in the oven a few minutes longer. If I visit this city again in the future, I will definitely dine here. Recommended!

I frequent the lounge somewhat regularly and am always treated well and the food is always fantastic. I frequently tell others they should give Luigis a try.

Had our Mom s 90 birthday here. Atmosphere was ok, server was awesome. There was 10 of us and 8 of us had ice cold meals. 4 of us had baked potatoe and veal cutlet felt like it was right out of the fridge! 3 had cold spagetti. For over thirty years, when visiting Lethbridge, my friend and I have made a point of frequenting Luigis. Their extensive meal selection should appeal to all tastes (i.e., Italian/American) and the quality is consistently of a high standard, always served hot and flavourful. The facility is well maintained, always clean and the decor is very pleasant. The staff is experienced, courteous and efficient. Every visit meets our expectations and reaffirms our choice of dining establishments in Lethbridge.

Slow service, lasagna was bland and lacked any flavor with what seemed like watered down sauce. When I got the bill i was still given a the full price for the bill. When I asked our server if they could take anything off the bill since I only had a few bites of the lasagna she stated we dont take things off the bill for personal preference, the lasagna was made properly... Im sorry, I didnt realize that eating bland, watered down food was a personal preference... when I stated this the server then went off in a huff and took off approximately 3.5$ off the bill for the lasagna. First experience here was bad for me and I will not be returning. Thankfully my wife enjoyed her Chicken Alfredo.

Absolutely awful management. I watched them use extremely vulgar language towards the employees. I am absolutely disgusted with the people who run this place, these amazing staff deserve better than than verbal abuse I ve witnessed. I wish the worst upon these disgusting human beings, I can t even imagine what happens behind closed doors. I am appalled.

I have nothing bad to say in any of my many visits. The Keg says they are the best well, I beg to differ on this. The Southside does exceptional prime rib, the service never falters, but is not so polished,they are not all over you with how are the first few bites they let it all speak for themselves. The Northside does bar none the best steak in town with nothing even close. As for bang for the buck for date night pick either of these places, they will not disappoint.

Very disappointed at the level of service at this establishment. Ordered via skip the dishes and waited almost 2 hours for our food to be delivered. Skip driver was nice enough to text and inform he was still waiting for our food. Order delivered and of course items missing. Contacted Luigi s and talked to 2 different staff members. One said the new girl who left for the day forgot to add the missing items. I asked for a refund and was then referred to another employee. Second employee said I have to go through skip the dishes because the driver may have taken the food. I informed her that I m pretty sure if the driver was going to take food he would take the steak and not the missing garlic toast. Her reply was I m just the messenger. This establishment takes no responsibility for their mess up on their orders.

Although I didnt up enjoying what I ordered, as I was being adventurous and trying new things, the overall experience was a good one. We had a fantastic waitress, who was willing to accommodate our needs, and we all had a good time going out. Parking: Packed during meal times. Kid-friendliness: We went with some very picky kids and although what one of them ordered wasnt initially available to be made, our waitress was able to convince the kitchen to help us out and get it made. They also offer a kid menu with a little bit of everything, reflecting the adult menu well.

My wife and I have been frequent patrons of this restaurant since we moved to Lethbridge in 2010. However, we have observed a decline in the quality of the dining experience over time. During our visit last month, we encountered an issue with our usual steak orders. For the past few visits, we had noticed that our steaks were consistently cooked well-done, even though we always requested medium-well. Each time, the restaurant corrected the issue, and we paid for our meals in full. On our most recent visit, the owner approached us, seemingly displeased with our repeated requests to adjust the steaks preparation. She accused us of ordering incorrectly and proceeded to explain how we should order in the future, as if we were first-time customers. Although she offered to replace our meal and comp us, the interaction left us feeling offended and as though we were being accused of trying to get a free meal. This encounter left my wife in tears, feeling humiliated by the treatment we received. We have been loyal customers since 2010 and have always enjoyed our time at the restaurant. However, this recent experience highlighted a decline in both food quality and customer service. My wife and I left the restaurant feeling deeply upset, and I paid for our meals in full before we departed. Based on this experience, we have decided not to return to the restaurant due to the way they treated us as long-standing, non-white customers.

For a lunch out with good friends we chose Luigis. As always, the food was excellent and it shows by the quality ingredients used. I just found that our waitress was exceptional and knowing just when to show up. Smiles and conversation go a long way to make a great experience, and thats priceless. Thank you!

The best Prime Rib dinner. Was very happy with it.

We usually love going to Luigi s South. But tonight the service was terrible. Had to constantly as for refills without actually getting one. We ordered GF appetizers they come out with bread on top when it was mentioned they promptly took them back and less then a minute later they bc one back out. Just scraped the cheese off the top and good enough. They were COLD COLD I knew better but tried it anyways. The main course come out the potatoes were colder than the appetizers and the steak was maybe warmer than the potatoes. Getting the bill took longer than the meal even after we walked up to the front to ask for it. This isn t the place I remembered just a couple weeks ago where everything was more than five stars. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING.

The atmosphere was terrible, for the price of the food to having kids yelling and screaming, the north restaurant is way better compared to the south, no longer a high end restaurant as with the prices it should be. Will never go to the south restaurant agaìn

Stay away! Extremely overpriced food served after sitting under the heat lamp in the kitchen too long. Their chicken caesar salad portion is also a joke for the high price. Slow service. Do not recommend.

I had a pizza a Caesar salad, the pizza was delicious and the Cesar salad was the best I ve ever had in a restaurant. I ate the lounge where they had sports on and a nice relaxing atmosphere

Nice place to eat

Ordered for picked up and it was supposed to be a beef and onion pizza. I usually order from both north and south locations and they both are a hit or miss but this pizza was absolutely disgusting. I always order a beef and onion pizza and it never comes looking like this. It s unappetizing and tasted awful. No beef on the pizza and the onions are clearly burnt and soggy. Tasted like the bottom of a burnt frying pan. Also was cold. Not pleased about this and won t order again.

Grace was our server and she was lovely! I have 0 complaints I d give 6 stars if I could. The food amazing we had the medallion steak and to die for fettuccine, prime rib, garlic mashed potatoes and gravy oh and Caesar salad and bread. YUM!!!! We are from Ontario and it s our 5 year anniversary thought we d treat ourselves. ALL THAT and two alcoholic beverages $100.28

Has gone down hill a bit. Service was poor as we had to ask for everything such as full sets if cutlery, condiments like ketchup for fries. 2 orders were under cooked (salmon was raw) & our table had that dirty rag smell eith very sticky edges. 2 of us did not eat as the rest of the group had their food already. Could do a better job.

I would have given it a five but they fell short on our delivery order and restaurant hasn t responded. No place settings. We were in a hotel so had to scrounge for paper plates and plastic forks for veal Parm and chicken Souvlaki. I did request. Drinks were completely wrong so had to use vending machine. Food itself was very tasty. Along with our meal we had dessert. The Turtle Cheese cake was ah-mazing but Strawberry Cheesecake was plain cheesecake.

Wonderful and incredibly tasty food! I ordered the Sirloin Oscar, it came to perfection, asparagus on top and Hollandaise sauce with crab flakes poured over it. Perfect medium rare! The fresh bun with the oil-basalmic dip was the best starter.

We waited 40 minutes for a steak really to tough to eat my vegetables were pretty much stone cold and my wife s chick club was so tough she couldn t eat it. A complaint was made and for a meal my wife wasn t able to eat and a steak I could barely cut with a very heavy duty steak knife we were offered a 25%discount. It should have been more like a 75% discount.

Pretty decent!

My first time at Luigi s was for supper last week and had the lobster ravioli on special, it was delicious and was a generous portion of pasta. The carbonara was also good. Spinach dip was good. Only suggestion would be to sent butter with the bread and oil/balsamic vinegar dip.

Have had multiple issues with takeout food (missing items, poor quality) and the service has just not been that great when eating in. We got forgotten about once.

Great place. Only place in Lethbridge to get my favorite style of pizza. Has good toppings not just 98% bread. Filling and tastes great. Just not cheap to go out more often. Service was decent. It was busy near the end and only one server on bar side, but she was great.

If you like cold plates and steaks it s great!! Food must ve sat for 15 min before coming out and only 5-10 people in the joint. All three orders of steak were the same. Subpar quality. Spend a couple extra bucks, go to the Keg and be done.

We absolutely love Luigis. Its a wonderful place to take my senior parents and adult kids. The food is always very good, lots of variety.... fantastic service and warm atmosphere. I had the salmon special.... perfection! Parking: We parked in a handicapped spot.... very close to the door.

Only reason i gave a extra star was because the Sit In Service & Food is always great....this is for the take out Service & Food! South Location. It was horrible! Whatever your time is for delivery add 30 mins extra! Being maybe 10 mins from my house food should be fresh an hot! And not at all over the time frame they gave us. Once getting our food then sitting to eat...our pizza was cold but had the same appearance that its been under a heat lamp burning the cheese up to drying out, the baked spaghetti was over cooked noodles with dried up sauce an crusted cheese on top because it sat in the heat for more then the intended time. It could have been way better all i know i cant see myself trying the take out option again! Sucks because the in restaurant experience is always great!

Wonderful atmosphere with very well trained staff. A nice quite and warm location. The staff was helpful, kind, and very attentive. Overall a wonderful experience at a location I know i will return to again. The food was also very well priced and delicious. I wish I could make food half as good as luigis.

I used to come here every Sunday for half price appys. I walked in and asked the owner if they still do 50% off of Appys and he said I don t know if we still do, but I ll do it. So we ordered drinks and our appys and the server wouldn t give us 50% off. Super unimpressed that the owner didn t stick to his word.

Always a good place to go

In the lounge section: Pros: quiet atmosphere, comfortable seating, food is usually 4-star. Cons: very chilly temp, especially near exterior wall, painfully slow service if you re there at mealtime (which is most likely), chairs -although comfy- are heavy and difficult to move. Recent dinner: group of six arrived at 6:00pm, one meal sent back to be fully cooked, other meals satisfactory, and dinner finally ended at 8:35pm. Unacceptable! One server tried to keep up but it was obvious that she couldn t. Owner/manager fellow sat at the bar and did nothing to help. IMO he could have bussed tables or lent a hand behind the bar. Clearly customer service is not important.

My two year old grandson got crayons and a good meal including a special ice cream. Our meals showed up in 15min and it was hot n tasty! Grrreat job ay!? Food

Great Staff & Service

Tried eating here again this time for pick up ordered 2 baked spaghetti and got overcharged the price of the baked lasagna for each for what it showed online. Honestly busters is better and you get more if you re getting baked pasta. . Busters is about double the amount of cheese they are stingy here and some of the noodles were crunchy. This will be the last time ever eating here. It s sub par and over priced. Save your money and go somewhere else. Really tried to give it a second chance. Got over charged. Was one price on the bill my husband got emailed from ordering online and then was a different price on the bill with the driver and had a xtra charge hand written on which I m assuming was delivery fee and tip but then when you pay the driver it asked for an additional tip above and beyond the hand written part which already inc the tip. I think it should be printed on receipts delivery fee and tip not hand written- looks unprofessional . . Also the garlic bread is terrible. Dry with no flavour. Don t think we will be back. I know it s only a few bucks being over charged but it still annoyed me.

Tasty pizza!

I eat here every day. The food is great! Its well prepared and fresh, always tasty! The staff are friendly and attentive. The restaurant is clean and well maintained. The value for your money is high! I highly recommend Luigis South if youre in Lethbridge! Parking: Abundant

The whole experience was very good - the atmosphere, the decor, the menu selection, the food. Our server, Abby, was exceptional.

Kylah and Claire are great hostess ! They were so welcoming and friendly. Our server grace was excellent as well. She was knowledgeable about the menu and was very kind.

The two hostesses at the front killed it!! Kylah and Claire were so friendly and hard working. I d come again just to see them!!!! Grace my server was amazing! Everything you want in a server. Food was alright, I ve had better.

First time back in Lethbridge in years. Luigis was a favorite before and is still a great restaurant. Great service and food and a great value.

Amazing baked seafood lasagna!!

Delicious! High quality food, great service, nice and clean inside, and plenty on the menu to please most people! Totally recommend. I had the Fettuccine Carbonara which was absolutely delicious and a great portion to fill me without totally overstuffing me. I also had some fries - the fries are fantastic! They serve bread with oil/balsamic vinegar while you wait, which was also enjoyable. Others in my group had lasagna, chicken fettuccine, sirloin steak, salad, hamburger, etc. We all were completely satisfied!

We went to Luigis because in the past we have good meals. I reserved for 10 people are 6pm. Our reservation was hard to find for some reason and part if our family was actually sat at another table although we were already sitting at our table. Our drinks orders took forever and by 7:15 still had not even received any appetizers. I ordered the sirloin Oscar which had a tiny about of shrimp? on I and the hollandaise was cracked and dry. Another person ordered their favorite which was the Veal. It was so paper-thin it hardly made a meal. The loaded potatoes were ice cold so the server brought us new loaded potatoes which were also cold. Not sure why the hard as rock brussel sprouts were a side dish as no one at them. The only bonus was that the birthday boy received his dessert for free. Needless to say I wont be making another reservation at Luigis in the near future.

Had a business meeting in one of their rooms followed by a private dinner in another room. Great food and no complaints from anyone in our group

Take-out order wrong... AGAIN!!! Determined that our take-out order was wrong when we unpacked it at home. Weve experienced this problem several times now. We thought that having them repeat the order over the phone would help... it didnt. Called to let them know of the error (they apologized), but I doubt the staff taking orders will advise management that they mixed up the order... Moral of the story... open the bags and check the order BEFORE you leave the restaurant... or eat in... the wait staff is excellent! Food quality is generally good, although this last time, the salad lettuce was brown on the ends.

Wonderful food and extremely nice staff. A much better experience than the Northside location.

Always impressed with the pizza & pasta!

Date night was wonderful at Luigis with excellent, prompt, and friendly service. My favorite part is the complimentary warm decandent bread with delicious vinegrette on the side. Our mains and appies came quickly and everything was delicious! Portion sizes are excellent with lead to very full stomachs and no room for dessert. The menus are very organized and esthetically appealling, with the restaurant offering a very low key, quiet, inviting atmostphese with a classy feel. Highly recommend!!!

Food was ok. I got the Oscar steak and the sauce was seemed it was drying out. The mushroom caps for appetizers tasted good but the size of mushroom was like a quarter. It is small for the price paid. Staff was nice but it felt a little awkward at the front because there were staff standing around just looking at the customers.

X-mas dinner out with family from out of town. Had to send one plate back as it was wrong. Sent my whole rib eye steak meal back as everything was ice cold. Had a party of 10 and after not reordering my meal as we already had waited for some time not one manager even bothered to come to the table to ask questions.

Luigis is great! Far better than The Keg, the atmosphere is welcoming and reminded me of visiting my old grandmas house. She was always thrilled to see me, and it felt like that at Luigis too. Weve been there four times and each time Ive ordered the prime rib. Each time it was done to perfection. The staff are friendly and quickly saw to our needs with a smile. Its on the expensive side, but totally worth it.
