I met a friend here and ordered pie and coffee. After 2.5 hours we were still visiting and the waitress was still pouring us coffee. We ordered some poutine and continued to visit. The manager and waitress were very accommodating and welcoming. We will definitely return.

I think this place is good but I had to put salt on my scrambled eggs I thought they did it for me oh well The eggs were good. The bacon was very flavourful that s why I liked the bacon. The maple syrup was good liquidy maple syrup very sugary too yum. my pancakes were good because they weren t too fluffy, but they were fluffy. and when I left, I got a free small package of Oreos with two regular sized Oreos, amazing . also, there s an aquarium you can watch when you re eating. this is my review 4 stars .

Super greasy food, wait staff looked, and acted, annoyed that we walked in, she was working herself but there was only 2 people at the bar and 4 tables (including us/ours) being used.

Everything is deep fried. Including the bacon. Cant cook an egg for the life of them Coffee is week. Service is terrible.

The was good, our waitress was unkind; not willing to or listen to my needs, when it came ordering. The atmosphere was a bit of negative one, because where we HAD TO SIT , people around us, made it clear they didnt approve of our presence.

Ordered ginger beef which is normally crispy, and Delicious, however this time it arrived looking grey and limp. Very disappointing, obviously the chef that made the crispy ginger beef , was not the one that cooked the dish we received this last week. So I have to presume that they are not consistent in the dishes. Too bad...

Good food and friendly service at decent prices. Place was quite full last we time went, but even so we didn t have to wait very long to order and our food didn t take long to arrive either. Apparently it s quite a popular place for seniors for lunchtime, and they do offer a senior s discount, or special. Parking: Good parking lot. Kid-friendliness: Child friendly. The waitress was nice but the owner was not welcoming at all. There is a distinct rotting/wet wood smell throughout the restaurant, its even worse in the washrooms. I ordered a half beef dip sandwich, it was made on a squished hotdog bun, it tasted mediocre at best. The food gave me a really upset stomach along with a super fun case of diarrhea. This particular Smittys used to be a good place to eat, years ago, but I feel as if the owner has given up.

We rolled into Lethbridge at 8 pm after driving 11 hours and were starving. They were closing but still managed to whip up some chicken and mashed potatoes for us. Great customer service. We will visit often.

It is an old chain restaurant that has been around for many years. The young women that served us was super friendly and very helpful with the menu. I have a dairy allergy which she took seriously and made sure nothing had hidden dairy. The food was served just how we asked for it with no mistakes. We were a party of 5 with all different requirements. The restaurant was busy which tells me that if it is popular, it is good! And the food was very good. Dietary restrictions: I am allergic to dairy. The waitress was diligent in making sure I had no dairy. Parking: There is plenty of parking but is rather cramped right up at the restaurant. There is handicap parking up against the building. The restaurant is beside a strip mall. You can always park in Mall parking. Just across a roadway. Kid-friendliness: Lots of kids and high chairs in the restaurant today. I did not notice any childrens specials or menu but then, I never looked. Wheelchair accessibility: Doors are wide and no steps.

Took out-of-town visitors there for dinner - Smittys was their preference. We were not disappointed. Service was friendly, calm, and unrushed. Food was tasty, and portions very reasonable: Hot turkey dinner especially generous. Vegetarian options: Mediterranean Salad - skipped the Feta and asked for extra pumpkin seeds to make it vegan.

Our lunch was pleasant as usual. Server was fantastic. Food is okay. Enjoyed the relaxed small town-like atmosphere. Its one of our go-tos for brunch.

Unfortunately my groups visit got cut short as we had to meet a friend elsewhere, but our server was so sweet! Not sure what her name was but she had a turquoise necklace on and she was taking on the lounge like a champ on her own! Despite a busy room, she was still managing all her customers with a kind attitude. Sorry we couldn t have stayed longer!

This restaurant used to be ok not impressed now. lets start with coffee filled 1/2 way I order turkey dinner. The meat was tough in some places dried out then had to asked for cranberry.Veggie so over done like mush. Hubby had fish and chips fish was on darker side not burnt but heading that way.

Couldn t have asked for better service. We came in a little before closing time and they still gave us amazing service and were extremely polite. The fish and chips are to die for. Would definitely come back again.

I had dinner in the lounge our waitress was amazing her name was Aubrey! She was fast efficient and provided amazing service I will definitely be coming back I had a steak sandwich for 17$ so worth it!! portion sizes were definitely a good bang for your buck !

Great place to go for brunch

It was great!! It was Fathers day and lined up the door. They got every one at the door in with in 20 minutes. Tables sanitized and set. Every one had smiles on there faces. They still had time to laugh and joke. Food coming out was delicious. Highly recommended.

Lets start with the restaurant, the walls are dusty and very dirty like I bought theyve been cleaned in a long time. There was flies in the sugar containers and I dont even know what was in the salt containers. The French toast was good the fruit I had on the side tasted funny.. my husbands meal was not good at all! (big country breakfast) his sausages, ham, eggs and hash browns all tasted horrible. I do not know how this place is even operational. Do not recommend at all!

I dont visit this place often, but when I do - I always enjoy a good breakfast! Their special was a pretty good deal, and the pancakes were delicious. Parking: Parking is free and available right out front, with overflow to the side. Ive never seen it full, but if it is, theres more parking 50 feet away in front of the mall thats just beside it.

Thus is the Smittys on the South end of Mayor McGrath Dr. In Lethbridge. One of my favourite breakfast places. Love it!

Was not impressed was sat at a table with the window and the window ledge has dead bugs on it. Service was slow not sure if it was because they only had one waitress on for breakfast shift and the food was cold so could even enjoy it. Will not come back again.

Very slow service. First waitress took order. Then disappeared. Never saw her again. Had to flag down the other waitress to get drinks refilled and check on our order. Other customers came in after we had ordered. They were waited on served before our food arrived.

Food is good, service is good, nothing extra special. Feels like a place for regulars and if youre not a regular you feel out of place.

Very hit and miss menu items. Some food is good quality like the Burgers and Breakfast part of them menu, others tho like the mozzarella sticks wings could be on the pricier side than they are worth. Ive paid for 6 Mozza sticks for 15$ that where literally just hollow great value brand. So just be careful on what you get. Other than that tho its a great place to sit down at with someone for a meal for a low price

Convenient location, and was fairly busy when we dined at this Mayer Macgrath location. Payment is done at the front desk, so we had to wait a little as the cashier was also the host who seated us. We got seated with our younger grandkids and the kids menu with a coloring page was sealed in plastic. Crayola crayons were provided, but don t work on plastic! ( no PAPER coloring pages? ) The meal came, food was hot and OK. Unlike the other location in town, KIDS DONT EAT FREE HERE. While it s not the end of the world, having the kids eat free is a real money saver as we are a retired couple.

Absolutely amazing experience! When we arrived, there were 2 parties ahead of us in line, and people leaving, yet we were seated very shortly. It was our first visit, but we will be coming back soon. The wait staff and hostess were phenomenal. So friendly, enthusiastic, kind, and happy to serve. The menu was impressive, and we got our food quickly. My husband and I hadnt been to a Smittys in a number of years, so this was a great reintroduction to a childhood favorite! Keep it up gang!!

That was the worst service I have ever experienced. We sat for over 15 minutes while the waitresses just kept walking past not even acknowledging us. New costumers were seated beside us and when the waitress finally decided to take orders, she went to their table first. What a rude, disprespectful thing to do! We walked out and we will NEVER return. Our friend went through the same thing half an hour before we arrived. He will never again return either.

Amazing food as always! It was my friends first time and they said it was way better than expected and theyll be coming back! They got an Eggs Benedict, my other friend got Nachos and they smelled so good! I have been coming to Smittys since I was born, the managers got moved from my location to this one when Center village malls location got closed and the great service transfered over!

I use to look forward to coming to Smittys for lunch/brunch...it was good food, good company, friendly waitresses, and reasonably priced. Unfortunately, after last night, will not returning to eat here again. I ordered soup and cheese toast, they forgot the spoon for my soup and only 1 piece of cheese toast. My son ordered omelet with toast but they forgot the jam. His girlfriend ordered chicken ceasar salad, they forgot the chicken! My husband ordered the bacon cheeseburger with fries and they looked like burnt toothpicks and the burger was undercooked. For drinks it was supposed to be sprite, they gave tonic water and forgot our drinks till we asked again for them. Then, got the bill and it was just under $80. One would think that the price is reasonable, but paying that price and still be hungry after is just discusting! They have lost our business...and until it improves, we will no longer support this business.

The food was great, the service awesome. The staff went out of their way to not only make the meal cheaper, but they also laminated our vaccination QR codes for us.
