It's a great place to go. The best fries, the burger is awesome and they are generous with the serving sizes.
I visited five guys and ordered reg cajun fries with milkshakes. Until today, cajun were one of my favourite fries but the fries I got today disappointed me which will refrain me from coming back. Didn’t taste cajun salt at all. Some part of it overcooked and rest undercooked. Milkshake didn’t taste any strawberries, just plain vanilla base. The guy who made and served the fries needs to be more courteous. I called the manager and talked to her, I appreciate her efforts by providing me with possible solutions but the other guy needs to know how to do their job.
My first impression was that everyone working there seems to be happy, chatting with each other and smiling. That says a lot about the environment. The free peanuts are always a win, and I was willingly given a bag to take some home for my children who were waiting for their food. The service was friendly and fast, the restaurant was spotless, the food was delicious. We didn’t realize that five guys had opened a new location and are happy to support these great folks.
I loved the location. Staff was very friendly and quick at there work. It’s a clean place and I really enjoyed sitting in the restaurant. I like to visit this place during my grocery shopping, just sit and chill with complimentary peanuts! Highly recommended👍🏻
I really want to like this place but I had the blandest burger ever. The service was excellent and very quick. Having the peanuts is fun and tasty. I had a milkshake which tasted great and the French fries are really really good! But the burger was not good! It is made fresh so that was good. The beef patty was very bland and oily. The cheese was one ingredient away from plastic and the flavor was odd and uncheeselike. I don't understand why people like the burgers here so much, it didn't taste good at all. I love mushrooms so I had them on my burger and I couldn't taste them at all! We won't be back for a long time until I forget why I didn't really like this place and we'll try it all over again.
Been here a number of times now, and have not been disappointed yet. Staff is always friendly and the service is nice and quick. The burgers are fresh and very tasty! And the fry portion on a regular fry is enough for 2 and the best fresh cut you can find. Prices are very reasonable for what you get, $30 for 2 adults to fill up is not bad at all. Will be back again when the craving hits.
A good burger joint!!! Burger's we a good size and filling. My bun was a little soggy, but that was due to having all the toppings and then waiting to eat at home. Good milkshakes. Not as good as the $5 milkshake from Pulp Fiction but will satisfy the urge. Overall good experience.
We had Five Guys Burgers and Fries for Lunch yesterday. It was my first having Five Guys in the City of Lethbridge. The restaurant is located Mayor Magrath Dr. South and its right beside Walmart. The restaurant is larger than the one in Vancouver. There are lots of seats in the restaurant. All the food on the menu is the same as many other Five Guys in Canada: Hot Dogs, Burgers, Sandwiches, Fries, and Drinks. We ordered two Burgers with different toppings, medium fries, and drink to share. The prices total were around $25.00. The Burgers were fresh and well cooked. The fries were a large portion, seasoned and tasted great. The drink is refillable. Also, you can get peanuts for free. It was a great deal for lunch.

I really appreciate the lettuce wrap burger option. The portions are good and you know what youre getting. This is 2022 Yesterday, Nov 2024 the experience was very different. The price is up, I get it, but the portions were smaller, especially the chips. You used to get lots for regular, but this was less than any other common burger joint. Sadly I need to move it to three stars.

I have eaten here several times and always had cheerful friendly service. The burgers are fantastic and big. The first time I went here I made the mistake of ordering a double burger . I couldnt eat it all because it was too much. Very delicious. You can order exactly what you want on it. Free peanuts in the shell. Nice and clean * I went back here recently for a long time. They have changed the oil they use for the fries and the burger just didnt taste the same. I felt sick for the rest of the day

Not sure how long its been since it moved, but This location is now on the east side of Mayor Magrath drive in Coulee Creek Common. The burger was very tasty but didnt hold together very well (why I gave it 4 ). Service was great and it was busy, which gave the restaurant a nice buzz. There were 6 guys working there though
The price on the menu from Google maps are outdated. Really good service. The fries are amazing and the hamburger was a little soggy, probably because it was take out. Never be as good as fresh off the Barbecue at home, but no burger is. Food
The food and staff are amazing. Have the little cheeseburger loaded and it tasted amazing with not long of a wait. Store was nice and clean.

Food is great, price may feel high but it s worth it over just about anywhere else. Tables and floors are clean but the decor of decades old awards on the walls leaves something to be desired. I m not asking for a night out at the louvre but the decor feels like a fifty year old reminiscing about their days as the high school quarterback.
Food is always good, but the price has gotten too expensive. It isnt table service.
Food was okay. Very pricey for a burger and fries. Found it quite noisy in the restaurant. Maybe just me? Dont expect a tip when I serve myself and clean up afterwards. Shouldnt even be an option on the pinpad. Food

Celiacs need to be warry, our recent visit where my wife ordered a lettuce wrap burger was cross contaminated with wheat because the guy making and wrapping the burgers didnt switch gloves. My wifes reaction to wheat told the story. Yes, there is always a risk, but if the awareness isnt there, you dont stand a chance. Dietary restrictions: Usually good about gluten but the awareness is lacking recently.
Maybe Im crazy, but I dont like their fries. Its extremely controversial to say that, and I am putting my well-being at risk by saying that. Their burgers are pretty good, but only if money doesnt mean anything to you because I assure you, its comparatively expensive to other burger joints.

Five guys is always great! On this visit the Burger was excellent but the fries werent very warm or fresh. Would have been 5 stars if the fries were better.

Went there for dinner and my wife ordered the BLT. Was absolutely garbage. She got a bun full of cold burnt to a crisp bacon and cheese. Couldnt even eat it and when I told them all they said was sorry. Had to buy her another burger and they charged me full price for it. Will never eat there again or recommend it to anyone.
This was my first time at this restaurant. It was clean but staff were more interested in chatting with themselves than taking my order. And they were not busy.

I would give zero stars if that was an option. I did a mobile order at 9 so there was an hour until close. When I went to pick up my order they said that I could have a large fries rather than the poutine I ordered because they weren t making any new gravy. This would be fine if they would have offered me a refund for the poutine I already paid for but they didn t. On top of that the burgers that I ordered were still very very very pink in the middle. I will no longer be ordering from five guys. This order was a major letdown.
Staff was very unfriendly, made me feel like I was inconveniencing them by being there. They glared at me from the kitchen until my food arrived.

First time trying Five guys. Im very disappointed in with the taste and very small thin beef pattie. The fries is nothing special. Over priced and over rated, wont be going back anytime soon.

Came to store with 20 mins to spare on a Saturday night before close and got told they will only do milkshakes and fries at that time because heaven forbid they would have to wipe down the grill again and actually do their job. Wont be back anytime soon. Maybe should put second sign up that says kitchen closes at 9 and dining room is open till ten. Or hire staff that actually wants to be there and work.

I have never been so dissapointed in a burger place. Service was rude, impatient, interrupted us while ordering and took our order wrong. We dined in because i dont like paying for soggy fries, but they were still soggy enough you could tie them in knots without them breaking. Milkshakes were so runny and flavorless that I would suspect that they were just made with cold frothy milk and sugar.... but the burgers, the true star of the show, were just thrown into the bag, unwrapped, we had to pick our toppings out of the fries and build the burgers ourselves. No sauce, no lettuce, cold cheese, two strips of bacon (one for each bacon cheeseburger) and the burger patties themselves were dry and completely unseasoned. Absolutely any fast food burger would have been better. Peanuts were ok, thats why I gave 1 star.

WAY over priced for the quality of food and dine-in experience. All the flavors on the fountain machine needed the syrup bags replaced. Will never eat here ever again. I should have gone to A&W instead.

Tasty burgers that are bigger than you think. Pricing was higher than other fast food but the burgers was worth it.
Used to be very good burgers and fries but since they changed location and with that they changed all our their staff and since then they reheat/refry the fries and they come out saturated in oil and the patties have shrunk about 30% and they put 1 strip of bacon on a burger. THIS IS A CONTINUOUS THING. QUALITY HAS GONE DOWN BIG TIME!

Watched as they packed my order wrong- when asked the staff member about it he straight up lied to us and said it was correct. Due to the restaurant being a little busy and not wanting to rifle through the fries, I trusted him. A mistake. Back to the hotel and what we ordered wasnt in the bag. Called the restaurant -and the manager was understanding and sympathetic, offered to replace meal - why would we go back to where the staff doesnt care!!??

Ordered a regular fries, baby cheese burger and a drink. The burger was extremely good (but a little smaller?) not greasy, nice big pieces of lettuce and tomato. But I was surprised and disappointed with the fries. I distinctly remember getting more in a baby servings than I did this regular serving and the amount of salt was inedible. A regular fountain drink for $3 seemed a bit excessive. Restaurant was clean, bathrooms were clean and stocked and the staff was Pleasant. Noticed the price of Milkshakes are nearly $6, I realize they have overhead but these arent Gourmet in quality or that significant in size. 2 baby cheeseburgers, one regular fry and a regular fountain drink came to $28... Doesnt really seem right. I could have got two full combos at Wendys for $20 with very minimal difference of burger quality. Dont think Ill be back for a while.

The atmosphere of the new location felt awkward .. five guys also hasnt updated their new address. Theyre beside CORA and Edo for anyone wondering. The burgers were also dry as hell. Five guys actually have a rule of not pressing their burgers that way they stay juicy, but these burgers were pressed and gross, crumbling apart from the dryness.. They didnt have lettuce (apparently they ran out? How???) and they put literally a quarter sized dollop of sauce on the DRY burgers. Wont be going back. Waste of money for sure.
