Uncooked food served and when asked to provide with cooked food they just put the food in microwave and served it. Roti was uncooked and they just microwaved it and served it again uncooked.

Disappointed got served twice with same rotis and when asked that they are uncooked they microwave it. Modest were messed up.

Not really good , disappointing, not recommended , we ordered goat and chicken and some tortillas , modes were not according to order , tortillas were under when we asked for new one gave us new same tortillas after re- heating it

Order gaot curry on 22 Nov 2024, thats absolutely not eatable at all. Meat was solid like rock. I have to though it away. Time and money wasted.

The restaurant had a really interesting interior and the service was fast and friendly. I had the samosa chaat,it was super delicious and filling as well as reasonably priced. Couldnt have asked for more.

I recently dined at NEW TASTE OF INDIA, and it was a delightful experience that brought the authentic flavors of India right to Canada. The ambiance was warm and inviting and beautiful traditional décor enhancing the atmosphere.

I recently ordered from Taste of India, and it was a total letdown. I ordered Garlic Naan, Chicken Momos, Kadhai Paneer Curry, and the Chef s Special Lababdar Curry. Unfortunately, the main dish, the Chef s Special Lababdar Curry, never even arrived. I did get a refund for the missing item, but overall, it wasn t a good experience. The Chicken Momos were obviously frozen. If I wanted frozen momos, I could have just bought them from Walmart. The Garlic Naan and Kadhai Paneer Curry were just okay, but the overall taste of the food wasn t great. Taste of India completely ruined our weekend. We were looking forward to a good meal, but what we got was disappointing. I won t be ordering from here again.

Got takeout from here, palak paneer, chicken Rogan Josh, chicken biryani and two bread baskets (each having traditional naan, garlic naan, aloo paratha and roti). The food was absolutely delicious and is some of the best Indian takeout I ve ever had (surpasses the more typical Indian restaurants which serve some of the same dishes), the bread basket was a great deal and we were able to try different breads with both our curries. The palak paneer was perfect with the paneer and spinach gravy going together well, not all restaurants get this right. The chicken Rogan Josh had juicy chicken pieces and a hearty gravy, all which went amazing with each bread. And the chicken biryani was the cherry on top, succulent rice, tender chicken and just the right amount of masala. I would highly recommend this place to both Indians and non-Indians as it will not disappoint

Did not like the customer service today I ordered a dish first and then after 5 mins I ordered something else. I got my second order and i was still waiting for the first one. When i asked the server they said Waiting for what?? .. I mean they weren t ready to accept that it was their mistake.. it was more like an argument that It was my mistake. They could ve handled the situation well but they didn t really care.very disappointing.. lost a customer!!!

Pros: food is good and quite affordable! However; this is now the second time in two months we placed an order for pick up online, received the text saying your food will be ready at 12:45 (an hour later) only to get there and find the restaurant closed. Last time I was asked to remove my review, but I never left one to begin with. Whoever is managing needs to give their head a shake. If you re not open, stop charging my card when I place an order :l

Heard a lot of good reviews from my friends about this restaurant. Thought to give it a try. Visited this restaurant on Sunday evening, ordered Fish Pakora which was too salty. Then had some butter naans and chicken karahi. They literally put half portion of the onions in the curry. Those big onions were like 5 or 6 in number and a couple of small chicken pieces were hiding beneath those giant onions. Taste was not good. After that, we ordered regular kheer and it was literally the boiled rice in milk. I know how kheer should taste like but it was not worth it. We didnt even eat the half of the food and left the place by paying 57 bucks.

I ordered their tandoori platter and butter chicken with garlic cilantro naan. Credit to their probably a week old chicken I got food poisoning for the first time ever in my life. The pain almost gave me a death scare that night. I could smell something was wrong with the gravy itself so stopped eating. Thankfully I recovered myself within two days. If I ate it all, I would have ended up in some hospitals ICU for sure.

I love this restaurant but they randomly close and don t close there online orders. I placed an online order, went to go get it and they were closed. They took my money and are just closed

I ordered pani puri and that was worst pani puri I ever have. The water was just tasted sour no other flavour in that. One water should be spicy and other should be sour and sweet but both the water were almost same- sour sour and more sour. I got sore throat because of that water. Other than that I like their food.

I have visited with my family on the occasion of Mothers day for enjoy with my family. But all the things get wrose when i ordered the food. As the food is very bad, it is tastless and the service is very slow. All of these my mother got ill and she is surving with food poisning. Unstable hours of operation. Its never open when it says it will be. Went today (its a Saturday) where it clearly says its open from 11:30am onwards. At 12:30pm the lights were still off and the doors closed. Second time this has happened, the other time was a weekday. Joke of a place.

My husband, daughter and myself just had dinner this evening here, wanting to try something new in city the food was so full of wonderful flavour, steaming hot when it arrived to our table, the staff was extremely pleasant and kind, and the service was beyond excellent. We have never eaten in the restaurant, only take out. But its only ever been amazing. The quality never waivers and its never a surprise what you are getting. You know it will be consistently amazing. The Naan bread is also the best Ive had in the city.

We loved it! Excellent food and excellent service. The restaurant is very clean. The wait staff is super friendly and provided great service. Everything tasted fresh and flavours were on point. Spice levels were flexible (on a range from 1-5). This was some of our favorite Indian food (having experienced Indian food in many Canadian cities). Would definitely recommend, and we will certainly be back. Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian menu options. Parking: Free street parking available right out front and all along the street.

Best Curry place in Lethbridge

Absolutely amazing! New Taste of India is my new favourite Indian restaurant in Lethbridge. Their dishes are not only delicious, but also come in huge portions, so you can easily share or have two meals out of a single dish.

The biryani is very flavourful but a bit dry. It is really good with the butter sauce. The curries are a little oily but tasty overall.

Very bad experience, brick hard and tasty like week old samosa and allo tikki. Service is poor server did not come once to check our table and water refills. Never gonna come back here.

We ordered their platter and the food was so bad. Some things are over cooked and some are burnt. I never go to that place from next time and recommend others also. The service is also so bad we wait almost one hour for our food but it doesn t worth.

This place is by far my favourite restaurant ever. As a student of Lethbridge College, I usually wind up ordering this through Skip the Dishes and have it delivered to my house or the campus. The place is a little expensive for someone with a limited budget, but the food is so fresh, of high quality, and flavourful, that it is worth every cent.

I just moved to Lethbridge from Edmonton last week. I was craving Indian food from my fav resturant of 5 years, so i took a chance on this place. I highly recommend it, the food was FANTASTIC! Prices were fair, but next time I order the Butter Chicken Hot (spicey) I would like it more spicey trust me these tastebuds can handle it! 10 out of 10 for fast prompt service and food! Shared Onion Bhaji to start which was tasty and no after taste of oil from deep frying them . I then had the Hot Rogan josh with lamb which was very very good indeed. This happens to be my FAVORITE restaurant in town. I have tried so many dishes from the menu and have enjoyed them all but my favorite is the eggplant. We ordered out the last time and got a bonus Mango Chicken which is also another great dish. There are so many great dishes for me to name and I plan on trying them all! You should too. The food is top tier quality and you can tell care has gone into the food preparation, especially with the flavours. The server was very warm, welcoming and accommodating even whilst clearly very busy. One of my favourite restaurants in town. I recommend everybody spend their money here when looking for a place to dine.

All chicken curries and meats in the dishes taste alike. Each curry is soaked in oil and food coloring. Every time I bring home takeout, the boxes leak oil, making it messy to even open the container. At least use better quality containers. After receiving a Skip notification that my order will be ready for pickup in 20-25 minutes, I find that everytime I arrive, I still have to wait an additional 5 to 10 minutes before I can leave with my order.

Twice we paid for Lousy Lethbridge paking in front of this place. The neon sign says open. The hand lettered sign says open but all locked up. Went around the back-back greasy door and roused the cook. His two words of English. . .nobody here. Walking through, I unlocked the front door. A local resident told us the place is run by a bunch of teen-agers who only come to work when it suits them. Good-bye.

Ive had New Taste of India twice now and both times its been great. I ordered the appetizer platter, chicken momos and mushroom pulao on SkipTheDishes and the order arrived hot, and everything was amazing. Overall worth the price. I also had dine in today, the ambiance of the restaurant itself was nice. I was disappointed they no longer do the buffet, but I just ordered off the menu instead. I got the mixed grill platter, fish pakora, shrimp biryani, regular naan and stuffed chicken naan. The naan was soft and fluffy, and the chicken naan tasted great as well, especially with some of their butter sauce. The mixed grill platter is perfect for sharing, but I was there alone so I packed up more than half of it as leftovers, very well priced. The fish pakora was a little less flavourful than the last time I had it, but I know its good from the mixed appetizer platter I ordered last time. The only issue I had was with the shrimp biryani. I got a lot of rice, but only 5 shrimp, whereas the mixed grill platter had a lot of meat, rice and veggies. The flavour was lacking in the biryani, but Ive tried the biryani from some of the other desi places in the city and theyre all pretty similar in taste and portions for shrimp. Im still giving it 5 stars since they still do the biryani taste and size similar to other places in the city. I just wish they had more shrimp in the biryani for $17.50, personally. I look forward to trying their other biryani to see what the meat portions are, but again, overall the prices are great.

Like legit eat ir almost every week at home and I have tried restaurants across Canada and the USA and this is the BEST INDIAN RESTAURANT in all of Canada and the states. Try their coconut chicken and coconut rice, it was to dieeeee for. Then their cilantro garlic Naan, OMG. So big, so fluffy, so big, so buttery. They seasoned everything perfectly, not too spicy, VERY flavorful. They even seasoned the rice and most restaurants dont. The staff was so kind and nice. We felt so bad because they mixed up the orders so we got double the food. Their loss, but our HUGE blessing because I am not lying or exaggerating when I say this food was the best. We just traveled all the way from Virginia and this was our first stop in Canada. We were having a very bad trip, everything was going wrong and this was BY FAR the highlight of our whole trip. Just WOW. I am in Lethbridge for the first time for a business trip. This restaurant was close to my hotel and I tried the cheifs special mix grill. The food is amazing and the portion is great. I am here for a couple more nights and just know I will be visiting here again. Thank you!

We stopped here for supper this weekend. We asked for mild Lamb Karhai but they made it very hot. We asked them to make it mild but they just added tomato sauce in it making the dish worse. We won t be going back here again. Washrooms were clean though.

The food was fantastic. This is an unpretentious family run restaurant, no frills or extraneous gloss. This place is about the food, which is the best Indian food Ive ever tasted. Service was quick and courteous, no staff hovering around, but available if you need anything. You order, your food comes quickly and you enjoy your meal. Hey folks we ordered a lamb biryani and chole bhature . The biryani was nice but lamb was not chewable. We told the server that the case. She was not able to satisfy us so she called a chef . The chef didn t accepted his mistakes and he was so rude and impulsive. We didn t eat that biryani and they took it back and charged us for that . Hope they read it and try to improve

I have been ordering from this restaurant since day 1 and there hasn t been a time where these folks have disappointed me. The food here always arrives hot, fresh and on time. This place is my favourite Indian place. Hats off to the chef and to the amazing staff.

Was great food overall but the dining experience was terrible, flow of dining room, loud and obnoxious YouTube music w/ads in the background. And clearly not enough serving staff working for a Saturday night as we had to wave down the single server every single time we needed somthing and wait times for things like water was very long

This is my absolute fave place for Indian takeout. Amazing flavours, really good portions, tons of delicious menu options. We always call and order take out pickup to get the extra discount, totally worth driving downtown for. Highly recommend the bread basket, jeera rice, butter chicken, coconut curry chicken, tikka masala, vindaloo, korma, and many many more. Parking: Downtown Street parking

The best Indian food Ive had in almost ever! The baingan bartha is be BEST Ive tried. Yum!!!! Vegetarian options: So many delicious options. Get the eggplant dish!!!!
