Food and serving was awesome server named Harnoor was awesome she is confident and pretty and humble appreciate the whole staff.

This is an amazing place. The food is all, literally all, made from scratch. Even the sauces! We had tandoori mixed grill, Biryani and jelfrazi. All so good, and the service was great. The naans werent amazing, but good none-the-less.

Very good food. Great value, service and atmosphere. Most resturaunts on google reviews are undeservably listed at 4+, when they fall in the 2-3.5 category. Mango Tree is one of the handful of places in Lethbridge Ive tried thus far that deserves a 4+ rating. Very good depth and balance of flavor. Indian food by its nature is not bland, but the wrong proportion of spices can ruin the experience. Mango tree had that correct. I tend to always try new places, and most places dont draw me back, but I will be returning to Mango Tree.

The food here was incredible. Portions looked like they might be small at first but we ended up with more than half leftover. Totally delicious! Drinks were amazing too!

Our favourite place to enjoy Indian cuisine!! Weve been back numerous times. Weve tried many others, but always agree, This is the best!

We ordered from Mango Tree on Skip the Dishes and the driver delivered the wrong order. We called Mango Tree and they personally delivered our order plus dessert! The food was incredible and the service was phenomenal!

The Mango Tree Restaurant Review: I recently dined at The Mango Tree, and unfortunately, my experience was less than satisfactory. To start, the Coke I ordered was completely flat, with no fizz at all. A basic beverage being served like this was disappointing. I specifically requested plain rice but was served colorful, spiced rice that seemed to be from the top portion of a biryani. When I asked about this, the staff explained that this is how rice is cooked in India, with aromatic spices and flavors. As an Indian who has been eating Indian food for over 20 years, this explanation felt unnecessary and inaccurate. Plain rice should simply be plain. The food itself was underwhelming. The paneer lacked any real flavor, and the daal makhani, a dish known for its rich, creamy taste, was surprisingly bland. Additionally, the dishes had an overpowering amount of ginger, which overshadowed any other subtle flavors that might have been there. To top it off, when I ordered a glass of ice with my water, I found a mosquito floating in it. This was concerning from both a hygiene and service standpoint. Overall, The Mango Tree failed to deliver on basic expectations, both in terms of food quality and cleanliness.

Raman was helping us on the table he was wonderful. The food was amazing. Highly recommended.

Everything is good

The food was amazing! We were visiting from out of town and got a to go order one night. It was so good we ended up ordering it again another night. The chicken Tikka Masala was just amazing. The chicken was so tender, so jucy, you could cut it with a spoon. The channa masala was another dish that left me speechless. The chickpeas were so tender, they melted in your mouth like butter but werent mushy. I portion sizes were generous and plentiful. One of the best parts was the numerous gluten-free options. I will be thinking of the meals we had there and waiting to eat there again when we go back to town. Dietary restrictions: They have a generous number of gluten-free dishes that are delicious and flavorful. Parking: Parking lot in the back, right side of the restaurant. Entrance is both from the street and alleyway in the back.

The worst Lamb Tikka I have ever had. This lamb was very dark, super tough and fatty. I literally could barely chew it! The whole idea is that lamb is young meat. Never been disappointed before either in Lethbridge or Med Hat but this was egregious. Shame on you guys.

Ordered 5 curries and paid $91. I ve ordered these 5 curries in Medicine Hat and it only came to $75. Their packaging is poor for having such liquidy curries. By the time we got home we grabbed the paper bag and it busted open as a few of the curries leaked everywhere, one whole curry fell out of the bottom of the bag. Get better take out containers and if you re going to stack items half hazardly atleast put cardboard between. This is pretty basic. The food in Medicine Hat is also better than Lethbridge. The curries in Lethbridge have minimal curry just a lot of juice. The malai kofta literally had 2 balls in it. Also please your restaurant needs a deep clean, it is dirty just look at the front glass marked with greasy finger prints everywhere, it looks like it s never been cleaned. Thank God I didn t have to use the washroom, who knows what that looks like. If you can t keep your flagship restaurant public spaces clean what does your kitchen look like. The one positive that I can say is that the staff were very friendly.

Had worst service and food all time, not recommended. A mistake was made once by coming to the mango tree.

Awesome food and service. The lady who served us is super nice and ready to serve. The restaurant closes and 10pm but she served us till 10:30pm which is super amazing.

The service was excellent and the food was alright. Despite the restaurant being extremely busy, we received our food without having to wait too long. Additionally their chicken wings are delicious.

The coconut rice was spectacular! Delicious naan, palak paneer, chicken samosa, butter chicken and channa masala. Great service!

Mango Tree food is delicious, very authentic Indian cuisine just like my grandmother used to make.

Ordered through Skip, they missed both sides of rice for Butter chicken/Vindaloo. Once I finished my order went for the Gulab Jamun and it was moldy. Will not be purchasing from here again.

One of the best Indian restaurants I ve been to. We got the Chicken Tikka Masala and the chicken Korma with rice and garlic naan. Everything was delicious, highly recommend. The staff were also very friendly, and the prices reasonable.

Super sad food court. The bbq chiken at that chineese vendor is the only food worth it. Saddest Winners store ive seen in Canada. The food court does have an ambiance, since its the only place where people can gather, within a radious of 100km.

We reached at 8:45pm And they said dine in close at 9:00pm! We have reached 15-20 min before 9:00 and they didn t allowed us! Even on Saturday night! Ridiculous customer service!

Just had supper here, a table was available,. We ordered pretty quickly and it wasnt too long before we were served our food. It was sizzling hot with generous portions. Food was awesome, so tasty and very filling. Great prices too.

Anshul delivered exceptional service that left a lasting impression. Our first visit to this restaurant was truly delightful, and we are so pleased we had the opportunity to experience it. We will certainly be recommending it to others, and without a doubt, we look forward to returning when we visit Lethbridge again.

Fantastic food!!! The night I was there, I was happy with everything except the server was not very good at checking in. Not refilling drinks until literally waved down (we were the only table there and he was at the front the whole time). Friendly, just not very attentive. Order take away, the food is excellent. Don t order the kheer. $6 never seen pudding you can drink through a straw. If you get takeout make sure to verify your order. Missing items. Food : 5/5

Ahhhh making

Mango tree has definitely changed their recipes. The coconut chicken was super runny and lacked a sweet coconut flavour, not like it use to be. My partner got butter chicken and same thing, super runny and taste is no longer the same. We ordered out and took a while to be ready.

I don t think I ve ever managed to leave without needing a to go container. The food is great and I always have enough left over for lunch the next day.

Words cant describe how great this place is. We usually come here around 2-3, and its never busy. We get our food within 10 minutes of arriving. The waiter Anshun is outstanding with his service. He makes sure our food is good, gives us great recommendations. I had the chicken biryini, and my girlfriend had the butter chicken with garlic Naan on the side. Great service, great food. Highly recommend this place. 10/10. Vegetarian options: Tons of vegetarian options, and they are all extremely flavorful

Amazing dinner tonight at the Mango Tree! Fabulous service and flavours We ordered off of the traditional menu, we had the coconut chicken, lamb korma and the vegetable aljelfrezi with coconut rice. Finished with a refreshing mango lassi. My parents and I loved every bite!

A 1976 kind of vibe with great food. Had the mango chicken with the portion, taste, flavors being right on the mark. First time here and I will definitely be back.

My favorite is the mango shrimp and butter chicken with coconut rice and garlic naan. If you are thinking of trying Indian cuisine for the first time, come here. The food is excellent!

Hires small businesses to assist them in an emergency but then doesn t pay their bills. Absolutely despicable behaviour. And yet if someone were to dine and dash at this restaurant the owner would be absolutely furious. All while doing the same thing to other small businesses. Doesnt deserve anyone s loyalty.

This is a great place to eat. It is affordable and delicious. Service was prompt and friendly. And the atmosphere is very charming. I took my family here, and everyone loved it.

Got the tandoori chicken and beef, butter chicken, palak paneer and naan on the side, and everything was delicious. We got takeout, and the service when picking up the food was very good. The inside of the restaurant is very nice as well. Pretty affordable too.

All we could see the discrimination, as we saw they clearly dont like brown people to serve and they never let us in as they were short staffed, but enough staff to host other races. I saw some relevant reviews back in couple of months same issue.. was visiting Lethbridge for first time, thank you for great service The Owners !! do something I recommend watch out who ever is planning and dont waste your time

Great Indian menu

We had the Butter Chicken Coconut Rice and Samosas and Naan. We asked for mild versions and it was all so good. We ordered on line the night before for an 11:00 am pick up. It wasnt ready right at 11but close to. Considering they open at 11, I was impressed . Definitely recommend if you like Indian cuisine.

We had a truly great meal tonight at the Mango Tree. Mango Chicken and Lamb Korma were excellent. Garlic cilantro naan is really tasty. Topped it off with a Mango Lassi. Yumm. Very pleasant staff. We will definitely be back.

Ordered shahi paneer, chicken biryani, and chicken curry. Roti was a bit on the oiler side but other dishes were not spicy. They have a spicy scale from 1 to 5 and we ordered a 3 which was not very spicy. Overall very good.

Edit: Used to be amazing, as stated below. But now the butter chicken is watery and subpar. This is NOT what they used to serve. Best Indian food Ive had. Spicy butter chicken and lamb korma with garlic naan is my go to. Always amazing. The gulabjaman is a little pricey for $6 for 2. Should at least come with vanilla ice cream underneath or more for the price. Everything else was superb.

Vegetarian options: Had some good options. The veggies were good. Service good. Parking: Parking on a Sunday late noon was bit problematic.

A very nice spot for lunch with either small or large groups. Very nice selection of authentic dishes as well as good variety in spice levels (I personally recommend 4 or 5 but that will vary for individual preferences). The location was very clean, no wait at all with no reservations and the staff was very pleasant and professional with quick service. My one complaint is that parking is a bit awkward and difficult to go to unless you are specifically going East down 3rd, but that is a small concern. Vegetarian options: Many classic Indian dishes that are simply vegetarian or outright vegan- honestly some of the better options in the entire city for vegan choices that are not just lousy novelties.

Oh my god. We walked in and got served straight away, service was amazing. We ordered very fast, and within 10 minutes we had our food. Waiter checked in on us a lot. I ordered the butter chicken, SO GOOD!! Garlic naan I highly recommend. Samosas we re like $5 for 2!! Incredible. My boyfriend had one of their pan fried food, it was SIZZLING!! VERY HOT when it arrived at our table. I highly recommend checking this place out. Very satisfied.

Ordered some pickup from here last night. I made the mistake of showing up early, sitting inside, and making myself 100 times hungrier from the amazing smells of Indian spices wafting through the place. My food was incredible. The wife has never eaten eastern cuisine before so this was a fun adventure of flavor for her also. Will come back again soon! Thanks for a great meal.

Best Indian food in Southern alberta

Worst customer service and not vegan friendly at all. They have things marked as vegan that involve dairy and add a ton of dairy things without having it listed as an ingredient. I will not be returning.

The food is always great and I kind of like the weird atmosphere. The haphazard junky looking sotrage strewn about behind the bar means I can only give 4 stars. Bathrooms also need work. Clean but badly in need of updating.

Good, quite place for family gatherings

I had the Mango Tree special curry with the 3 out of 5 option for spiciness. It was unbelievably good and was glad there was extra to take home. I also had a taste of their butter sauce which was also very good. Vegetarian options: There were a number of good menu choices fir vegetarian with the option to add meat. Dietary restrictions: With the numerous vegetarian options many are already gluten-free or dairy free. Parking: Reasonable sized parking area beside the Mango Tree. I suggest exiting the parking lot out the back as the front entry can be narrow for 2 way traffic.

Quick dinner on a business trip to Lethbridge. I was craving Indian food, and this definitely satisfied it! Friendly service and very tasty food. Good portions.

Took my parents here for dinner and we were very happy with the food, service, and drinks!

I normally absolutely love this place. However. I am paying $17.00 for butter chicken and received approximately 6 pieces of 1 x1 pieces of chicken in my total serving. Hardly enough to share with someone when ordering diner. Very disappointed. May not order again seems to be a reoccurring pattern. I m not paying $17 for sauce again.

My order was a Fish Tikka that was so tasty and great. The menu of this restaurant is not HALAL, which is wrongly mentioned in google halal. Thanks to the waiter for guiding me.

Tremendous food and great service

One of my favorite restaurants in lethbridge! Absolutely delicious food! This was my first time ordering take out, not eating in and everything was packaged perfectly (as to not spill/keep everything warm). I love the amount of vegetarian options! Garlic Naan is to die for! The paneer pakoras were amazing! ! I will keep coming back!
