ALL YOU CAN EAT
The hot pot was definitely worth it! plus for 5 more dollars for all you can eat sushi?! totally worth it. Stayed the 2 hours maximum limit to eat up everything.
Went in with my family and we had a great time, the food was very fresh and yummy. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful. We also had a cute robot bringing us food once in a while. Overall, it was a great night!
such amazing service i went multiple times when its super busy they are still just as amazing when its not super busy. i love the cat robot that brings the food to your table sometimes it’s so cute! will definitely go there again and many more times in the future and its so pretty in there as well. some of the best sushi i’ve had. there hotpot wasn’t working when i went but i definitely look forward to having some hotpot when they fix it. such a great place i highly recommend!
There are not very many options for all you can eat sushi in Lethbridge....my wife and i are very happy to have discovered blossom because we find it better than fusion and it blows Makisu away in terms of AYCET Grade Sushi. The sashimi is fresh enough (especially the butter fish!), the rolls are solid all around, and I was very impressed with the coconut shrimp. Be warned upfront that hot pot is not yet available but that won't discourage us from coming back for more.
The tempura was fantastic, not overly breaded. The sashimi was fresh. The green dragon roll was worth it. I’d pass on the crispy California roll. The Miso soup wasn’t that warm nor tasty. The restaurant was fairly empty. I get they don’t have hotpot yet, but they also don’t have wine. This place is almost on par with fusion. Far better than Makisu.
Special rolls are awesome! Fresh sashimi. still no hotpot yet.but really tasty food, friendly staff and cute robot!! Highly recommended!
I'm giving it 4 stars overall because at the time of my visit, the hot pot part was falsely advertised. This is a new place and the ventilation system and heaters for the pots are not there. I wanted sushi and didn't have a backup plan, so I stayed for dinner. The atmosphere was something unique, being a converted fire hall. It wasn't very busy with dine in customers, so I received attentive service by both the human and robot. All the food I ordered was nicely presented and tasted good.
I visited because the reviews were good. I went in after seeing the open sign, but I was very embarrassed because there were no customers and the sushi refrigerator was empty. But the server was very kind, and the food was very satisfying to my heart. It feels like it's not organized yet, but I want to go there often! I hope to have alcohol or other drinks on my next visit!
food was good , nice place to try out. clean washrooms
Was a decent experience, server was nice, food was mediocre. I would say in terms of Japanese cuisine kind of low tier, probably will never go back again. Was way too expensive for quality in my opinion.
Really good service and a nice and cozy place. Loved Ginger Beef
Nice restaurant, good food. Kids dig the robot
Good place for a cheap ayce. Nice
Wildly inconsistent. Sometimes great, often times subpar. Very disappointed with our meal tonight. Veggie tempura was inedible, sushi tasted like mall sushi. Food
Very friendly employees food was delicious I couldnt finish all Parking: When I went ther only 2 car Food : 5/5 |
Awesome restaurant! One and the only which has all you can eat hotpot with such amazing variety of dishes and is quite pocket friendly too. Would definitely recommend checking this one out.
amazing! definitely check this place out it deserves more stars! amazing service! amazing food! i love the cat robot! such a wonderful environment!
Definitely not worth the $30+ each we paid. We didnt receive many of the items we ordered, nor the glass of water I ordered along with my beer when she asked for our drinks.
Very awesome! We went for hotpot and it was such a fun experience, food was EXCELLENT!! Cute establishment with fast and friendly service! For a unique dining experience this is the spot in Lethbridge!
Most of the food was good, but the Fried California roll had warm mushy avocado with uncooked dough on the outside, it was not good. Please do not order the rice unless you have a family of 10 Only giving this 5 stars so that it will stay at the top. Food : 3/5
Had a good time drinks, and food was good, service was good. The interior needs work.
This is the worst sushi I have ever eaten. The fried one being the worst because the avocado inside tasted old and the dough was still raw. The white sauce on the other sushi was not appetizing. The portions were very different, the spring roll was miniscule but the fried rice and ginger beef plates were massive. Both the rice and ginger beef was okay but definitely not as good as I have been able to get anywhere else. It is also frustrating that the whole table has to order the same thing and there is an upcharge for hotpot above the AYCE price even though it is much cheaper to buy the individual dishes than pay the AYCE price. If your craving sushi you are better off buying it from a grocery store price and taste wise
Worst sushi, I ever had . Food doesnt have any flavor. Sushi nori (seaweed) was so thick that it was hard to swallow without choking. Not coming back.
There was a nasty aftertaste that permeated throught the food. Anything that was steamed or boiled had the aftertaste in it.
Our first time doing hot pot so it was a bit confusing at first but the waitress was very helpful in explaining everything. We definitely didn t take full advantage of the AYCE. We even got a complementary discount. Will definitely be back with friends/family. Such a unique experience with good food which has seemed a bit rare in Lethbridge lately.
Decent food. Lots of options to choose from. I saw the robot server as I was leaving.
If this is your first time trying hot pot or dont want to take the 2 hour trip to Calgary for one, then you should check out this restaurant. Since their soft opening of hot pot, theres a limited number of broths to try.(recommend the Best of Two Worlds selection so you can try 2 different broths. Best flavourful would be the pork bone broth and the Spicy soup). Limited to 2 hours, but you can order as much ingredients as you like, just make sure not leave any leftovers or there will be a charge (and for good reason). You can also order sushi and other side dishes/appetizers as well. Most of the ingredients are simple and offer a good selection of veggies, meat and seafood. There is a sauce station on the upper floor where you can mix your own. All in all, I feel there is potential for growth in expanding exotic foods in different ways and hot pot is a great start because you cook almost anything really and still taste great.
Sort of mixed results. If I was to go again I d focus on the appetizers and the hot pot. The Coconut shrimp, crab tempura and cheese won tons were very good as was the gyoza. I d pass on the sushi - for the most part it had a mushier texture then we prefer and was all drowning in heavy heavy saucing most of which were mayonnaise based. The prepared ingredients for the hot pot were quite nice - standouts for us were the meatballs, wontons, various veg. Skip the sausage those are just hot dogs. We had mentioned to our server that it was our first time visiting and never once did they mention that there were sauces available for the hotpot upstairs in an alcove - this would have definitely improved our experience and was a little disappointed that we only discovered it after we were done eating. All in all its an interesting place wince it s the only hotpot in Lethbridge but in our opinion there are other better sushi places if that s your main focus.
The server is so nice but I will never come back again. The chicken fried rice looks like it is from the supermarket and is very salty. The chicken teriyaki tastes bitter... The environment is dark and noisy. The eel sushi tastes like canned food. Hopefully there will be some improvement in the food. Compared to other sushi restaurants in Lethbridge, overall this is probably the worst in town.
The service was really good, food was okay, atmosphere was meh. I thought the hotpot soup was really bland but the sushis were nice though. Definitely way too expensive. I had better AYCE experience in other places (in a cheaper price too).
Blossom is undoubtedly some of the best AYCE sushi I have had. The quality is unmatched, service is tremendous and the vibes are immaculate! Will definitely be coming back for the golden dragon rolls (unreal!)
Went to try the new hotpot option. Was very happy, food came quickly, good selection of options. Our waitress was great. It was worth the price. We will be back. Food
They have hot pot now and 15% off if it s your birthday.
My recent visit to blossom left me completely impressed and satisfied! As a sushi enthusiast, I ve tried numerous sushi restaurants, but none have compared to the exceptional experience I had here.
Be aware, it is either all AYCE or all a la carte at the table, you can not mix. We had a vegetarian in the group. Since they needed to order off the menu (it didn t make sense cost wise for them to get AYCE), we all had to do that. We waited almost 5 minutes before someone came out and seated us. Service through ordering and the meal was slow. There was a major discrepancy in timing for when food came out (we did a la carte rather than AYCE). There was nothing amazing about the food. It wasn t terrible, but nothing jumped out that we would rush back to get. The ginger beef had really no ginger flavour, and a very strong soy taste. Vegetarian options: Not a whole lot of vegetarian options.
Went there on the 14th, food was amazing, the only problem was when we got our second order we had to wait an hour. The waitress was very kind and did what she could. Was also very informative of sushi we were not familiar with, very cozy place and set up nicely, the robot is a little annoying for every time it comes out it place music very loudly. Other than that I 100% recommend coming here
Absolutely fantastic experience. Had heard that it was really good food on the weekend and had the chance to check it out when our regular go to sushi spot was frozen up. Restaurant was quite and cute, extremely friendly server, who was very helpful. Prices very reasonable. Food was absolutely delicious. Was looking at the reviews part way thru service and kept reading about a robot, asked our server about it as we had a young man whos birthday day it was she happily brought the robot out and put him to work. He sings an incredibly catchy song and she even had him sing happy birthday. Absolutely fantastic and will happily return again.
I love this place! And the cat robot is so much fun
Best sushi in town, must try!! Can t wait for dine-in :)
Delicious! Ordered Sushi delivery. Nice presentation and very tasty. Check it out.
One the best places to eat sushi in Lethbridge and a Very good costumer service from Allina.
Great little sushi spot!
The Blossom Special is insane if you like saucy rolls.
Vegetarian options: I m a strict vegetarian and I don t usually eat out much cause it s hard for me to find veg options but here I really enjoy many vegan options and the way they cook it s amazing. Kid-friendliness: All ages are able to eat and enjoy wonderful meal.
Ordered their Seafood Fried-Rice and a Takoyaki from them and it was one of the worst dish Ive ever eaten. The Takoyaki was mainly just a ball of dough and missing the main thing that make it a Takoyaki, the tako inside. It also missed the usual Japanese mayo sauce around it. What a joke that was. The seafood fried-rice comes with one small shrimp in the entire dish with a thinly sliced narutomaki spread around. The only sea in this disgusting dish is how overly salty it was. I cant believe the other reviews on this page are not paid or connected to this restaurant as there are no redeeming quality in my order at all. There are better sushi houses that knows their quality in town, but this restaurant isnt it. Check Fusion if you want to know how a Seafood Fried Rice is made. Theres an old Chinese proverbs that if you want to test someones culinary skill, have them make a Fried Rice, and chief, this restaurant clearly have none. Avoid at all cost.
My husband and I went out for sushi and were served food by this cute robot. They didn t have hotpot and some of the items weren t available atm but the ones we had were delicious. Highly recommend!
I came here with my boyfriend for my birthday. It was really fresh and tasty! The human server was really nice and I loved the robot server!
wonderful place, very tasty and reasonable prices, special thanks for the fresh and pleasant music. I will definitely come back here again
We did take out for mothers day. The staff was friendly to phone into the website was easy to navigate to what I wanted and the sushi I ordered was up to my standards. Overall I give a 5 star rating on my first experience and definitely will be visiting again for take out sushi.
Food was really good for an all you can eat. Definitely worth the money. Loved the little robot! Felt very modern and cool. The building is definitely historic but nice to see a family business taking advantage of it. Would like to see some renovations in the future to add to the historic and overall atmospheric value. At first it wasnt super welcoming because there were still chairs on the table but ended up having a good time Good experience and will be coming back and bringing some friends!
Really good food, friendly service, food took a while but I think they were just under staffed that night.
The food is good but the wait times took so long. Me and my family came just a while ago and ordered their All you can eat. We came at 4:30 and placed our order right away; however, it took them at least an hour to bring most Of our orders, were still missing some but we dont have time to wait for them. We didn t get to place our 2 orders because we still need to travel back to Calgary and anticipated that we ll probably wait for another hour. Hopefully, management will do something about this. Thumbs up to the waitress that handled all of their customers, she was all alone.
First time going here with friends and family but the experience is bad, we waited an hour to get our foods. We live in Calgary so we can t wait for that long so we decided to pay even if we didn t get all our orders. It s so expensive, it s not worth it. I feel bad for the waitress she was alone doing all the work. Grabbing the foods, cleaning the tables, handling the payments, and it s busy cuz it s holiday so people keep coming. Only if I knew this would happen we wouldn t come here.
We made a reservation and showed up on time. There was only one waitress doing everything and we saw nobody else in there! The robot came out every once in a while. They don t have a liquor license, and they don t have their hot pot set up even though they advertise that they do. But we chopped that up to just opening last week so we were not to upset by it. We ordered our all you can eat sushi for our table of 7 before 5pm but didn t start receiving food until 6pm. We got 2 rolls of sushi for the 7 of us and waited some more. We got another couple plates 20 minutes later, then waited again. We watched the table of 5 who came in after us get wonton soups, that we had also ordered, so when we asked she said they were all out. You could tell the lady felt bad so she wrote it down and went to the kitchen. 15 minutes later she comes out with 4 soups (even though we wanted 6) and they were SO PEPPERY. Literally like drinking pepper water. And we waited some more for our food. By the time 730 rolled around we still didn t get all of our food, the kids (and adults) were hangry, and we were the table who had been there the longest out of the whole restaurant, so we asked where our food was and she said that they ran out so the had to make more. It was a weird response, so we asked for our bill. They still charged us full all you can eat price and when we asked for some compensation we were told there is nothing they can do. 3 hour sushi ordeal, and we just walked over to eat at McDonald s. Not impressed. THe food that we did receive was very good (except the wonton soup), but they NEED more staff!! Unfortunately I don t think that we will go back.
If I could give them a 0 I would. They fail at every metric you can judge a restaurant. Starting with Hosting, they are extremely slow. Several potential tables walked out do to not being so much as greeted. Cleanliness was poor. The tables werent being cleared or cleaned. They also advertise begin being Hot Pot, but are not currently operating as such. Instead they are operating as an All You Can Eat sushi. The service robot is cute, but obnoxiously loud. The printed out menu has no item descriptions, so you have little idea what you are ordering. After ordering we didnt have place settings brought to us. In fact it wasnt until our SECOND set of dishes came that we got some because I requested them. Even then soy sauce wasnt brought and I had to take one from a dirty table. We were there for oven an hour and my wanton soup, prawn tempura, and chicken skewers never even arrived. In fact much of the menu wasnt available but we werent told until we asked we it didnt arrive. The food wasnt very good either. The beef was cold and grey, instead of seared. The fried food wasnt dripped off on a rack or paper towel before plating, so grease pooled under it. The sushi to l rolls were loose and didnt come with Wasabi or ginger. We were never offered a second menu to order more, although the claim is, all you can eat. After all this, I voiced a couple of concerns at the till. Still charged $30 per person and $4 for a can of ice tea. In regards to pricing, they are not up front about it. I had no idea what I was paying until at the till. I will never go back.
I was reading the reviews for this place last week, and it seemed like they had good sushi. Unfortunately, the food took awhile to arrive due to just one waitress working.. The food wasnt really tasty at all.. For your monies worth, its probably best to go to other sushi restaurants around town.
My boyfriend and I love eating at new restaurants in town. Tonight was our first time at Blossom. I do not recommend eating here. Theyre advertising as a hotpot restaurant but arent serving it currently due to lack of proper infrastructure to vent. We were seated, and no pricing listed on the menu. Several tables with dirty dishes that hadnt been removed the entire 80 min we were there. Took 45 min for the first item to come out. We had no cutlery to eat it with. By the time the server came back out with more food and our cutlery it was cold. The food itself wasnt even mall quality sushi, very loosely rolled, tiny, and no flavour / out of season unripened ingredients. No ginger, no wasabi, we had to grab soya sauce from a dirty table bc we didnt have any. Half the food we ordered didnt come at all, and when we asked about it they were out and waiting for more to be made and it was going to take another 10 minutes. Several people came in and left bc they werent seated bc the server was in the back. To top it off it was $65 for us to eat all you can eat. They are very short staffed and obviously in a hurry or inexperienced. I wanted to love it. But when 3/7 items dont come out at all and I have to go eat a second meal bc of the tiny portions I wont be going back. Cute robot delivering food though! Next day update: I spent half the night on the toilet with mild food poisoning. Not thrilled.
Parking: Lots of free parking Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs Food : 5/5 |
place not recommended everything is poor and overpriced, stop lying on this rating system that gives 5 stars, didnt get all of our food and still pay the eat all you can price WHAT A JOKE!!!
This place no good, not worth to try keep your hard earned money instead and eat on other places that has good and fast service
If I could give a lower rating In some areas I would, the sushi was good, however most of the deep fried, cooked food was horrible and hard to eat. Service wasnt the best and the floors are sticky and everything looks filthy. We were disappointed when we arrived to find out they dont do hotpot or serve any liquor. Definitely wont be back or recommend to anyone I know. There are several similar priced suhis restaurants that are much cleaner, nicer and better food. Not worth your money
Would not recommend this place to anyone. The restaurant is disgusting. The walls were dirty, the floors were sticky, the serving robot was dusty and had lots of crumbs. The salad was quite literally two tiny pieces of lettuce which were brown and soggy. We got a speck of wasabi and two slivers of ginger. The fish tasted dirty and old. A few of the items we ordered were never brought out to us. And you have to wait to get the sever to bring an ordering menu each time you wanna order more which should just be on the table like many other all you can eat places. Also they do not have a liquor license so they can t serve liquor but have liquor menus on all the tables. And Hotpot is not available.
Went in for date night with my wife. She told me about this place as she works by it and has eaten here many times. This is the best sushi I have had period. By far the best place in town. I have had sushi from many places, after eating here, I will not go anywhere else. The people are also great. Great service and very kind. Infinite stars!!
Best place for all you can eat sushi in Lethbridge Alberta cant wait to come back for hotpot when its available
Excellent service, phenomenal food, Hot Pot isnt ready yet, but wow! Vegetarian options: Vegetable rice is so good and flavourful & filling. Does not taste as if cooked in the same spot as meats Food : 5/5 |
The server was very nice and food came quick but there were just two other people when we arrived. Food was mediocre. Not much flavor. The place is dirty: the floors had prawn ends around, the table smelled of dirty water, the robot was very dirty too; overall, considering how long this place has been opened (a month an half they said) it was quite dirty. Also looks sketchy kind of unfinished, not the best atmosphere.
Wonderful new all-you-can-eat sushi place! The sushi is super high quality and came out really fast. I love the atmosphere too, being located in an old fire station. Definitely will be back once the hot pot is ready!
I went in to eat alone a couple weeks ago for dinner. The nice lady sat me down and I ordered all you can eat for dinner which was very fairly priced at 27$. I don t go for California rolls I was getting tuna salmon mackerel snapper eel octopus and shrimps, all the good expensive stuff. The avocado was perfect and there was wasabi and ginger, my one complaint about the food is that the fish seemed a little too warm but it made me feel good the next day so that s fine, and the robot was cool and a good way for the restaurant to stand out but I personally think it s not needed. When they get the hotpot they will be really outstanding but their sushi is more than good enough to get me to come back. Thanks for the great meal see you again sometime. Vegetarian options: There s plenty Kid-friendliness: Kids don t like waiting bring them a colouring book
Good food, very good...but It has areas of opportunity in cleaning and decoration.
1st of all if youre going here do yourself a favour and get the Philadelphia roll its amazing the other rolls were good aswell, on the smaller side which we liked. Kimchi was spicy and sour. Soups and Tokyo roll were flavorless. Expected a bit more from their special rolls. Tempuras were really nice however, both shrimp and yam were not greasy like other reviews mentioned. Service was slow but waitress was very kind. Would recommend
Service is great but food quality is mediocre. The restaurant used a former firefighter station. Kinda cool sitting in and dining.
I ordered take out. Online process was straightforward and the price was fair. Sushi was delicious. Will definitely be ordering from here again. The imported drinks were fun. We both had never tried Mogu Mogu and Ramune so we had to try them and they were both delicious. We also had the deep fried banana slices. Ive never had those before. I didnt like them but I dont think anything was wrong with them, just a preference thing. The server was also very friendly, and there was only a 20 minute wait for pickup. Overall I look forward to eating here again!
The food is really good! I came here yesterday with my friends and it was worth it. I love the overall vibe and especially when the sun hits the window, it has really great lighting for pics:) the lady was nice and food are in reasonable price. Will definitely come again.
This place is a hidden gem. We went here for a friends birthday for all you can eat sushi and I can confidently say it is better than Makisu! The fish selection was way better, especially the eel and octopus, and the miso soup was fantastic for flavour. The server took care of our big group no problem and we had a great time enjoying our dinner at their venue! Pretty cool to see the old firemans pole from the fire station still intact in the front entry.
I went there with my significant other and was sceptical because of the reviews. The lady that helped us was super nice and explained everything. The food was to die for genuinely some of the freshest tasting food I ve had especially from an all you can eat sushi. There was a cute robot that would bring out your food but still had a waiter with it so you could voice complaints. In all of these reviews I ve seen that are negative are people getting mad at a small local starting business for being exactly what it is, a small local starting business. Food takes time and we had no issue with that it was amazing for the two of us and it makes sense why groups of 5 are asked to call before hand because it s a small business you d do the same at a large corporation. I honestly believe this place just gets a bad Rep because no one can understand they re starting out. I d recommend this place to everyone I know and will definitely be going back again! Kid-friendliness: They ve got a cute robot that brings out the food that plays music
Second time here. The ambience is lovely (although they play jazz music which seems weird at a restaurant like this). We didn t receive the items we ordered, and had to remind staff. But because they take the order sheet away with them, you need a good memory to recall what you ordered. The portion sizes are weird. For example the ginger beef is a large plate, the beef teriyaki would fit on a tablespoon. For myself and 10 year old, the evening price was 30$ each. Apparently there is a cost if you don t eat what is served, so that is tricky too if you have no idea what you are ordering. Google will be your friend here. All in all, an experience to enjoy at least once. No hot pot available yet. Hopefully that will improve the experience.
Not recommended. I was there for their AYCE , with that price range but the food quality is not match. I dont enjoy eating their food, I cannot taste the difference between salmon n tuna, scallops or octopus. They were all the same because the food was not defrost enough.
The food is so good! I can t get the kimchi out of my mind- its addicting! Highly recommend the butterfish! Definitely the new main sushi spot! Food : 5/5
This place is absolutely great, went tonight and the food was fantastic! We got a really good assortment of stuff to try and I highly recommend the coconut shrimp, the spicy salmon roll, and the butterfish. Needless to say my friends and I will 100% be back :)
The food wasnt bad per se, but there are other places in town that are like this and have more options. The thing that got me was the price that they charge for the limited options. I probably wouldnt eat here again. Food : 4/5
We found a hair in the food! Slow service. Not everything was available. Food : 2/5
Very good food and service was excellent
The food was amazing highly recommend
