Great food and great service

The small poutine is the exact same size as the regular, absolute rip off. Payed an extra couple dollars for a larger poutine as I ve gotten the smaller size and really enjoyed it, nothing fancy but was still good for the price. But then getting the regular size to see it s the same thing for more money is kinda grubby. Will be looking elsewhere for my poutine fix.

Pre-ordered pizzas to have finished for 3:45pm online as we had an event at 4pm. We ordered the pizzas a few hours before hand so there was no chance of them being late as this was an important event. When we arrived at 3:45 we then told the pizza would be 5 more minutes. Not only were the pizzas late but they werent even ready until after 4 when we were supposed to arrive at our event. When asked if 2 hours wasnt enough noticed she answered I was working alone. I asked her what I needed to do to avoid this situation in the future and again she replied I am working alone. Update: The owner has contacted me and informed me that pizzas werent even started when we arrived. I asked him why his employee would tell me 5 minutes then? He had no good reason. He did offer me a free pizza for my troubles and I told him that a free pizza would not make up for making me late as people who are late is my biggest pet peeve and also I find it completely unacceptable that his employee lied to me. Now he is texting me to remove my Google review.

very low quality customer service, understaffed and not very professional. they have a constant line up of people waiting far to long for orders inevitably lowering the quality of the food as it waits under a heat lamp. the priorities of the staff are lacking majorly, attending to low priority objectives before completing online orders that we had put in two hours prior to showing up. we ended up waiting for twenty minutes, again, for an order we put in 2 hours prior. the food was simply not worth the wait, you can get a similar if not better quality frozen pizza from costco.

I was here 2 months ago and enjoyed it. Yesterday not so much. My chicken wrap was so dry. The chicken itself was dry . ( there was no shawarma spits running .... 130pm .. afternoon.....why?) My wrap had a tiny bit of sauce on the bottom. Thats it. I had even asked for 2 sauces . The fries had to much salt/pepper seasong on them and the size was very small. I paid $15 for the small chicken wrap a small fries and a pop. Pop options was small ... not like they advertise ( at the front they have many more options displayed than whats actually in the fridge ) It took a while for the gentleman to understand I wanted to pay cash not debit and that I had a dime so I could get a $5 bill back. He also took a while to understand that the laundromat next door has a sign that you get 10% discount with a same day receipt. He wasnt convinced but eventually agreed. I was given a tattered paper menu to read since I didnt have my glasses and was told he has no other take out menus . Just that one . The entire experience was lacking. Too bad because I had really liked it the 1st time.

Best Shawarma place in Lethbridge! I was surprised since its a pizza spot but hands down it tastes very authentic like the ones in bigger cities. I also love how they have so many options of veggies to add on and other places here, only have one or two.

Disappointing experience. The food was alright at best but the flavors were all wrong, fry portion for the price was absolutely unacceptable. I will not be returning nor will I reccomend this establishment since I dont believe the staff/owners pay any mind to customer feedback (judging by the responses to other negative reviews).

We discovered Pickle last month and have hit it up almost weekly since. Whether it is a shawarma, burgi, or pizza the quality has always been top notch. All of the food is prepared fresh and quickly. The prices are among the best in town. Overall, I dont believe that you can lose by going here.

DO NOT BE FOOLED ON HERE!! Decided to drive across town due to all the good reviews on here. Paid $40, but made to wait around 1.5 hours for mediocre food, even though we were the only customers in the restaurant. After an hour I asked about my food and was told that they were really busy. However, if they were so busy, why was there only one worker and why was the worker moving around so slowly while having a conversation on the phone with his friends? He ended up not giving us anything after making us wait over an hour and we later found out that he made our orders wrong and forgot sauces and utensils. The food was cold by the time he was done. Worst dinning experience and worst service in Lethbridge! AVOID THIS PLACE!

Ive had about three top shelf nairs from this spot so far, normally I get no cheese and the first two had cheese on em, no worries.. the meat and topping and wrap combo is so good that wasnt a deal breaker at all. Todays nair was cheeseless and Im tellin ya brother, I inhaled that rig. If I wasnt so full Id probably have another. By the way I just dont like cheese on burgers and nairs its good cheese. Onion rings were tight too.

This is our new, go to place. Its a nice switch up from all the other restraunts and takeaways in town. The quality of food is always on point and if your like me and love pickles, they have a good variety and choice to mix up with other foods like currys, burgers and kebabs, not to mention their prices are very competitive.

I think its pretty decent, got their chicken shwarma, unfortunately its not authentic chicken shawarma though, this tasted more east indian then anything! Wouldnt bring someone here not okay with east Indian cuisine expecting to get nice lebonease shwarma!

Really good service! the dude was so nice, the place was extremely clean and had cute chairs and a nice painted wall to take pictures with, the food is delisous (way better than the other options for shawarma and donair in lethbridge). I forgot to grab my soda and was about to leave the parking lot and he ran to come give it to me. I 100% recommend eating here.

Weve gotten food here three or four times now and the burgers are great - very full (we get fallout!) and tasty. Fries portions a bit small - 25-30% more would be great.

The chicken was cold. No sauces on the poutine. And it s a shame to even call it a shawarma poutine. There are many 3 star shawarma in Toronto that are better than this. Just gross.

We stumbled upon this place accidentally today and what an awesome experience! My chicken wrap was the best I ve eaten yet. The food was fresh, not chemical tasting like bagged produce, and the flavours were delicious! The garlic sauce is to die for and the people were So Kind ( & cute) and So friendly we didn t want to leave. They grilled the wrap to a perfect thin crispness, it phenomenal to bite into. DELICIOUS You Absolutely Have To Try This Place!!!!

The Pizza is great, and the curly fries were all right. The donairs arent good at all but that can also be personal preference. My low rating is caused by how the owners wife chooses to stand in the store and allow their children to terrorize all the customers by running around and screaming. Their inability to organize the orders causes alot of confusion, and we actually had to stand and wait for almost an hour for our small order to be completed. Will potentially change my review upon a second try in a couple months if they last that long.

Ate here today for the first time, and the last. Donairs are one of my favourite foods and this was by far the worst I ve ever had. Tiny, poorly prepared, and lacking quality.

I dont care for spicey food. My husband noticed the store was opened and he went in. He ordered me a chicken shawarma donair he told them to put whatever sauces on it but nothing spicey. Just make something my wife will like and will come back again he told them . The result was absolutely delicious. I dont know what all the complaints are about, but l will certainly return food was great and so was the service.

We have tried their pizza, chicken wings and chicken shawarma. Everything was delicious and of good value for money with decent size. The staff is very courteous! They have us as permanent customers now.

Loved the Chicken Alfredo pizza (the cheese!! ) and the Mix Platter - we will definitely order again. The service was friendly and fast (15 minutes for pick up). Once the furniture arrives, this will be a great place for dine in.

Tried their mixed donair and a shake and everything tastes great enough to make you want to try them again, for lethbridge they definitely are a contender for the best shawarma place by taste and price. However by big city standards, the meat could be a bit more moist, the wrap could be a bit thicker and a bit of price adjustment based on products size would go a far way. But an absolutely amazing find and will be back

After returning home for the first time weeks ago with my first ever pizza from The Pickle, i was instantly pulled in by the flavour, texture, and quality of my pizza. Four cheese, barbecue sauce, and a bubblegum milkshake to go with it, an absolute pizza dream for me, thank you for the great staff service too you rock! I worked next door during construction, dreaming of what meals might become one day, then BAM!! An open sign alast, an experience well worth every day watching the progression of this cool place in town! First time visiting Pickle today for lunch and it was delicious. I had a beef donair and the other person had the chicken fattoush salad. Both were absolutely delicious - clearly made with care from fresh ingredients. House-made sauces. Prices are very reasonable. Its not fast food, but its 100% worth the (short) wait. Call ahead if youre in a rush, I guess. Anyway, cant wait to go back! Nice work, Pickle!

Just had my first Shawarma at Pickle and it was fantastic. I would definitely recommend.

Really wanted to like this, but got a shawarma platter and a mixed platter and it was inedible. I think you are using the wrong recipe for your chicken, shouldnt have any turmeric in it, and thats all I could taste. The fries served with it should be steamed potatos and the rice should be plain basmati, not whatever the spiced rice was that you served. The sauces are all wrong as well. Im sorry guys, go and check shawarma palace in Calgary and try and.model after them, and then you will be successful.

Service was way too slow..... like 25 minutes and we were the only ones in the restaurant. The food was mediocre. Donair wraps were chewy, pickle chips were soft greasy and tasteless. The restaurant itself is decorated cute and the was clean.

I tried this place on a friends recommendation. The service was helpful and the food was delicious. I highly recommend the beef donair with every topping. Ill be back

We tried Pickle Pizza, Burger, and Shawarma on a whim as its right around the corner from home. We both tried the chicken shawarma platter. The spiced rice is FANTASTIC. Perfect amount of flavour without a ton of heat. The chicken itself was beautifully seasoned and tender. The garlic potatoes were wedges with a nice garlicky sauce on top. Super tasty. The salad had a nice herby, vinegary dressing, and the hummus was super creamy and tasty. GET THE SPICY SAUCE ON TOP. Its spicy flavourful, not spicy, melt your face off, hot. We got it on the side with donair sauce on top, but I ended up putting allll of my spicy sauce on top. The portions are generous. We took leftovers home. Parking: Lots of spaces available. Great buffalo chicken pizza! We stopped for a quick mid-afternoon bite. Pizza was delicious, spicy but sweet and flavorful. Staff was friendly and helpful, checking on corn starch content for my allergy. Service was quick. Will come again!

Great food, reasonably priced, staff have always been super friendly, helpful, and patient. I m especially fond of the bacon double cheeseburger, but everything I tried so far was pretty good.

Tried Pickle for the first time today - we got platters: chicken shawarma and mixed shawarma. Pros - service was friendly and quick, their shawarma is great, rice is spiced, and their toum (garlic sauce) is unreal. Cons - the salad options were not tasty; the tomato wasn t ripe and the other vegetables were very bland, and the hummus didn t taste of anything other than tahini. Portion sizes were reasonable and there s a good amount of tables to eat at, although food is served in takeout boxes, so it s just as easy to take it home.

This place is a hidden gem! Was in town for a work trip and stumbled across Pickle, we tried their pizza, wings and shawarma let me start off by telling you that this was the best pizza I have ever to date we tried the tandoori chicken pizza, absolutely delicious. The wings were so well made/ fall off the bone we tired the Korean flavour. Lastly we tried the chicken shawarma which again was so well made and delicious we ordered one shawarma and we had it cut in half as it was big enough to feed the both of us. Cannot wait to return to Lethbridge and eat at Pickle again!

Go to Busters or anywhere else. By far the saddest donair I have ever seen, ever. Paper wrapping burned onto the bread, stingy on the meat, and just poorly prepared overall. Abysmal. Hey owner, instead of posting a pointless reply to my review, use your time more effectively and go eat at Jerusalem shawarma in Calgary, then use that experience to improve your product.

I stumbled on this place a while ago when it had just opened cause I thought the name was funny and stood out, the dogs is super tasty and my favorite is the chicken shawarma pizza, the staff are all really friendly as well. The place is pretty clean too!

Last night my husband and I decided to try this place. Ive been dying for a proper shawarma! Nope, dont do it. My husband got the mixed shawarma and a side of fries. First, we did not get his fries and second, it was absolutely horrible! Took a few bites to try and give it a chance and ended up throwing it out. He is severely sick today as well! I ordered a poutine with gravy on the side so I could pit it on when I got home. There was no cheese. How is that a poutine? When I called to let them know he had no clue. Said I asked for gravy on side so they dont put cheese on it, but they charged me for the poutine. Will not be going back to this place.

Really good, i got the mixed donair with pickle fries and also the mixed platter. Im from YYC and we have way more donairs, a few of the other shops i tried in lethbridge were lacking. this place is really good. i will say more butter on the rice would probably add a bit to the dish, but food is great!
