Firestone Restaurant & Bar in Lethbridge

Reserved a table for 9:00 pm and the atmosphere seemed pretty decent. We weren t acknowledged by the staff just waiting there for about 10 mins. Once seated they waiter never even bothered to take down drinks and we waited for about 35 mins and were never served. After which my date and I left to a different restaurant. Our waiter stood at the bar and chummed with his buddy instead of catering towards paying customers. Not very impressed, and I will not be coming back.

This is our most favorite restaurant in Lethbridge as it never disappoints, ever.

I travel to Lethbridge multiple times a year, and always stay at the Coast Hotel. Once in awhile I ll order in food from Firestone to eat in my room. Ordered the lettuce wraps tonight, found not 1 but 2 long dark hairs in my food. So disappointing after not having a chance to eat all day due to driving from Calgary, to Medicine Hat working all day, and then driving to Lethbridge.

This place was so great that our group of 12 ate there 2 days in a row. The Food and Service is great and the prices are really good for what you get. Riley looked after our group yesterday and he was a 10/10

Went with friends for a birthday. Waited like 30 minutes to get any drinks. Servers were ignorant, rude and did not display any hospitality just absolutely disrespectful. Charged for the drinks while we clearly stated we did not want them anymore. Ruined our whole night. 0 stars wasn t an option cause so settled with 1.

Went in for a quick lunch and it was great. I had the steak sandwich (which really wasn t a sandwich) and the steak was grilled perfectly. And the boss paid for the lunch which made it even better!

What a treat. Went fir Sunday brunch and enjoyed the big breakfast. It hot and delicious. Our server Mckenzie gave us amazing service. I will diffently coming back again. The manager brought my meal to reassure me that there was NO pineapple on or in my meal. Talk about going the extra mile. Truly thanks and keep up the good work.

The place to go for a great meal in Lethbridge.

Ordered a steak, and they brought me a sandwich It was the biggest letdown I ve had in a restaurant yet, and then after waiting 25 minutes for them to bring me the wrong food, they asked if I wanted them to make me what I ordered no thanks, it took you forever to make the wrong thing. And what made the experience even better? Sitting at the bar listening to the bartender piss and moan about how much she hated everything.

Where are the vegan options? They are constantly asked yet still won t add any. It s weird. Oh, wait they had a burger wrapped in lettuce and basic lettuce wraps, it s pretty embarrassing in 2024.

This is a great place to get together for desert and drinks. Unfortunately the menu is really a disappointment, bland not much to choose from, Someone please improve the menu.

Took my wife on a date. Drinks were amazing and the server was nice. Unfortunately, my wife got Alfredo pasta and made her super sick and to note, she found a few hairs in it. I ordered an Italian pizza and got the completely wrong pizza. Half the pizza didn t have the toppings on it and the dough wasn t fully cooked. At the end of the night we were pretty disappointed. Waste of money

Most important thing: DO NOT ORDER IF YOU HAVE ALLERGIES- the Uber eats should be updated. They do not make it clear what is in the food (especially alergens)... We didnt specify that you should NOT put avocado on top of a quesadilla for a take-out order to prevent it from ruining the tortilla, because we thought that was pretty obvious... APPARENTLY. NOT. Soggy ah food Also the food was cold and tasted awful... I dont want to be harsh but Im going to, so stop reading right now if you dont want to see some **HONEST** negativity. This food tasted like it was pulled out of the dumpster behind a restaurant where a chef had just committed sewiside because dementia was taking away his ability to cook, and this was the very last thing he made. This tasted like the food that made him realize it was all over. You COULD pay me to eat here but only the fries, the mains are just disgusting. Dietary restrictions: They do not disclose what is in the food properly when ordering.

Everything single thing we ordered was soo amazing the cob salad was so delicious the meatloaf and French onion soup were the best we had ever had. The restaurant was clean and cozy and the servers were kind, and speedy 10 out of 10

Great place to stop for a nice meal in Lethbridge! I had the braised short ribs that tasted great, a bit more sauce would have made it better, and vegetables could be more tender. To top it off was the delicious white chocolate raspberry cheesecake!

Im originally from Lethbridge so my family is down there, had never tried Firestone before, I booked online for a few of us to take my niece out for her Birthday as its her favorite place, we hit Sunday Brunch just over a week ago, mentioned in the booking it was her Birthday mentioned to the hostess it was her birthday and to the waitress it was her 10th birthday, they did absolutely nothing for her, was a bit shocked most places would offer something small for a birthday piece of cake or drink or something, lost a star for that! Second the food was mediocre it was ok but wasnt as good as people make it out to be they throw a Keg/Moxies vibe but not sure the food is as good at least the bruch we had. Still my nieces favorite place because she thinks its fancy maybe, we may have to just introduce her to some more places. Cant say I would be back after that whole experience. Personally I had the chicken sausage eggs Benedict, it was ok but not great, came with fry style wedges not hasbrowns which I would have expected eggs were not to order as they didnt ask which also found odd most places ask. So overall 3 star would only go back if someone really wanted to go.

So I really wish I could remember our waiters name as he was really good. Younger blonde guy. I ordered a steak entre meal but he let me totally switch out the sides with no issues or extra charges. The steak was really good. The girlfriend had quesadillas and she said they were delish. We then ordered some desserts off the after eight menu. Which from Sunday to Thursday after 8:00 p.m. they have some really good deals on some desserts and drinks. They even have a bite sized White chocolate brownie for $3 on that after 8 menu. Also ordered the callebaut chocolate cake and got a birthday chocolate cheesecake on the house. All delicious. Definitely has a lot of cheesecake options if you like that.

This was my first French Onion soup ever. It was fantastic. All the food I had during my stay was perfect. Highly recommend Firestone if you have an appetite.

I loved everything about my experience at Firestone its my second time going to the restaurant. Last year I was there for my birthday.

Great food and place, they even have non-alcoholic drinks. I had a virgin Pina colada that was tasty. The menu says ice-cream, but they said its just a typo. Works good for those that are dairy free or lactose intolerant which is helpful. The California roll was good, easy to eat. Vegetarian options: I hadnt had the vegetarian options, but Im sure thier salads are good Dietary restrictions: They have some gluten free options for people, but just have to look through thier section, of course they do say there it is prepared in the same kitchen as all the other foods, but Im sure they are careful for people who are. For the non-dairy restrictions not typically a choice on the menu for that for dairy substitutions in foods, but they have other foods that dont require dairy a person can eat. Parking: Just a regular parking lot, you can find something, Id come to at a reasonable time before it gets busy. Plan your parking to your vehicle fitting. Truck people will always have that space issue and or just make it work when something does open up, to each thier own lol Kid-friendliness: Nice place for a family setting, you could bring kids but not as many people do, depends on your kids I suppose. Firestone is an awesome spot for a reasonably priced dinner. The food is generally okay; lack of flavour in some dishes is balanced with an abundance of seasoning in others, which took away from the experience. The service was quite amazing though - shoutout to our waitress - and the atmosphere is very modern and professional. Would be a good first date spot for sure. Dietary restrictions: Very accommodating!

Ordered the Yorkshire pudding stacks. It was horrible! The so called prime rib was dried out shaved roast beef. Everything was cold.

The food was good, however the service was not. We had 10 of us including 4 children. It took an hour and 15 minutes to get our food. Then another hour to get the bill. Tired children, occasionally seeing our server. Going to look elsewhere for a good dining experience. Food

Showed up for breakfast, not very busy at the time. We got a country omelette and a Texas skillet and coffees. Food was quite good and with some good fruit. Staff was nice and prompt with coffee. Great place to stop for some very good eggs. Vegetarian options: The country omelette was quite good.

Service was great, food was decent but the patio is quite loud, not totally the fault of the business, as most of the noise is from Mayor magrath- they have a water feature I think to help camouflage the noise but it really just adds to it. But again, decent food, fantastic service!

My husband booked a reservation for my birthday and this was our first time at the restaurant and we are very disappointed and disgusted, when we start eating, we saw that the plate is not clean coz there are some left over food that mixed with our meal. I work in a food industry as a server and I ve never saw something like this before.

Food was good. Had the French dip. Took 2 1/2 hours to get our food. Heels on soda while waiting for food was non-existant. We had to eat on the patio in the blazing heat. For $60 I would have expected more.

Didnt have the best experience here. Two people at the table received their appetizers before the table received their drinks. I ordered a California roll, 3 pieces didnt even have crab and 2 barely did. Cheeseburger spring rolls were just meat and cheese, the remaining ingredients listed were sprinkled on top. Outside of that, the service was decent. Attentive, accommodating and the atmosphere was nice.

Great food, great service. Our waitress was expecting and was on her last day. Treated a table full of 50 year old adolescents just the way we like it.

We stayed at the Coast Lethbridge Hotel and ate breakfast twice and supper once at the Firestone Restaurant which is located in the hotel. We were treated to an amazing menu with several delicious food options. Additionally, my friend has Celiac disease and was pleasantly surprised to have a full menu just for her own dietary needs. All of the waitstaff were excellent however, I would like to bring specific attention to Megan who was extra efficient and friendly. If in Lethbridge, do check out this gem of a restaurant.

Food is pretty good, but very few vegetarian options. The music is loud, so it s difficult to have a conversation.

Its nice, expensive, food was alright.. there were so many people continually walking around..

We had the baked mussels to start, they were great, could have used more garlic toast for dipping. We then had the prime rib with crispy potato rolls instead of mashed potatoes (no extra charge), very tasty. Service was great, our server had a lot of perfume on which was somewhat off putting. Atmosphere was noisy, not a location for an intimate dining experience. As with other places, drinks are overpriced. Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is wheelchair accessible, although there is a bit of a distance between the parking lot and the front entrance.

The food was very delicious, worth the price and the service was great.

Went for breakfast for the first time this morning. Amazing food, very friendly waitress, and great service in general! Weve avoided Firestone for a while because their dinner service takes hours, but well definitely return for more breakfasts! Kid-friendliness: The waitress this morning made my little ones day.

My wife brought me home some leftover pizza from lunch. Said she didnt enjoy it. I can see why. BLAND beyond belief. I think they forgot the sauce. Not good. Leave pizza to the pizza places that know how to make them.

This is definitely one of Lethbridges more fine dining restaurants, and the atmosphere shows for sure. I tried one of the featured burgers, and it was bizarre, but overall, the taste was pleasant. I saw a few different dishes. Walk past my table, and they all looked stellar. I finished my meal with a piece of birthday cake and it was light and delicious. I would recommend it for a special occasion

Some of the menu items we have gotten over time have not matched the pictures on the menus. Ex. The donuts are shown as round, and appealing. What we got looked like someone allowed a child to cut up random pieces of dough to be turned into donuts. Did NOT look at all like it shows in the pictures, or like something that should be coming out of a restaurant with a higher costing menu and higher class atmosphere.

Found this restaurant and couldnt be happier the food is seriously delicious, and the atmosphere is spot on for a cozy dinner. And dont even get me started on their menu its like a culinary adventure waiting to happen!

I ve downgraded my review. From a 3 to a 1. I had to send my steak back twice. I literally left afterwards because it was so undercooked. They didn t even offer to make it right. Wouldn t recommend the place.

I recently took my family to dinner here for my Granddaughters birthday. Four of us ordered the yorkshire pudding stack. I do not have anything whatsoever positive to say about this meal. The yorkshire was more like an overbaked very dense cake dough than light and fluffy as expected. The beef was overcooked as well. Three of us worked our way through it but my daughter would have none of it. She returned her meal and was compensated with an order of fries which is all she wanted at that point. We all left the yorkshire without eating any of it. When our waiter noticed this he informed us that he thought they didn t look right before he even delivered them to our table. When I asked for the bill I was shocked to see that I had been charged full price for our meals. What the heck! NO COMPENSATION AT ALL! I guess the fries were supposed to pacify us! Anyway suffice it to say we will not be returning here again for even a snack.

The restaurant was noisy, seating was uncomfortably tight, and the server wasnt seen again after we paid. We wont be back.

Update - latest visit about four weeks ago for breakfast on a Tuesday. Wife has a black pepper allergy so we asked the waitress to check if the Hollandaise Sauce had any - because she had never had Eggs Benedict before and I wanted to treat her. Manager on duty showed up and said there was pepper. So I exclaimed - I can whip up a hollandaise in about two minutes - can you ask your cook to do one without pepper? He comes back a few minutes later and said they dont have the ingredients to make one up... ! Keep in mind - at this time there were maybe four tables in the whole restaurant, so its not like they were swamped or anything. We were appalled at that lame answer, but she settled for a very overpriced omelette with chunks of potatoes (read hashbrowns in the menu which they were not) and a few pieces of fruit. I held off on writing this review until I actually made a Hollandaise myself - which I whipped up with three egg yolks, half a cup of actual butter, one teaspoon of Keens Mustard, a pinch of cayenne and a dash of salt. Turned out perfectly for my first time and took about three minutes to make all said and done. You cant tell me a high falutin restaurant like the Firestone didnt have those ingredients on hand!!!! That breakfast (I had the breakfast tacos, a glass of OJ and a coffee with a refill - she had a chocolate milk and a coke) cost $75!!!!!

Cheesecake does not disappoint!

I booked a large table for my daughter s 18th bday for tonight. A milestone bday, right? Well, she chose Firestone, so we all gathered to celebrate. The service at the restaurant was nearly impeccable by our server (young kid, name started with a J ). He was super attentive, organized, and kind. All of his porters were good as well. I believe a manager came by to check on us, he was great. They settled a table issue for us, and they were all very professional. We had a great celebration. However. The food was not great. Luckily, the damn celiacs at the table had the fortunes of eating the best meals, so we were happy for them, considering how difficult and nerve racking it is for celiacs to eat in restaurants. So, maybe come here for a drink and a dessert type of restaurant now.

Apparently if you ask a worker for salt they give you attitude and tell you to chill out and sit down?? Sorry someone asked you to do your job? Really upsetting. When you re a paying customer you treat them with respect regardless of what mood you re in, I ve worked customer service for a long time and it s not acceptable to act like this

Even though we only dropped by for dessert, we had an amazing experience. I couldnt resist trying the lemon and raspberry cheesecake, and boy, was it a treat! The portion was huge definitely big enough for two. The atmosphere was lovely, and the service was top-notch. Cant wait to visit again!

I recently dined at Firestone Restaurant and had a delightful experience. The food exceeded my expectations. The service at Firestone Restaurant was truly excellent. The staff was attentive and friendly, The desserts were a highlight absolutely delicious and the perfect way to end a satisfying meal. The atmosphere at Firestone Restaurant is very inviting and creates a comfortable and enjoyable dining environment. I highly recommend this establishment to anyone looking for an enjoyable dining experience.

Who ever deals with delivery orders, they dont do it properly. They still keep you waiting for long time by not asking you the order number or name . Then they give you bag that been sitting on table already.

Good restaurant, I ve been a few times, for lunch as well as breakfast and they have good options for both. The food is excellent, the service good, and the staff friendly. Great Brunch

We had a good waitress. Only thing I can fault was as soon as she got the payment and the tip she rushed off...there was no goodbye, thank you for coming or hope to see you again. Up to that point I thought she was brilliant and was very helpful with choosing menu items and her knowledge of the food which really stood out to me. The food unfortunately was poor. I had a prime rib steak which was overcooked the first time and after they brought out a new one it was so salty it was uncomfortable to eat (and I love salt usually!) And too much bitter blackened taste. Gordon Ramsay would not have been happy lol! I am a little surprised at the chefs. The restaurant did their bit to make things right after that so that was good. Its not the serveur or managers fault but the chef. The other person in my party had a pizza which was very meh. It was my birthday so I was gifted a slice of cake which was very good! I also thought the garlic cheesy bread starter was very tasty! To sum up: I wouldnt eat here again most likely as the food isnt great. Atmosphere was fine. But the service was good.

Good fast service Good food

I have ordered the chicken bellagio almost every time I go. It is my favourite but the last two times it has been disappointing. Chicken is dry and this time I felt like they dumped a whole salad on it. Won t be needing to go here for awhile.

On February 1 2024 I had some take out from Firestone and it was absolutely incredible. The chefs working the closing shift that day are very talented. Some of the best food Ive ever had the opportunity to eat.

One of our favourite places to eat in Lethbridge. My son said his favourite restaurant is Firestone. Pretty good when a 7 year old gives the review. On behalf of my son Jamie, this restaurant gets a 5 star review. Wish I had unlimited $$ to eat here everyday! Kid-friendliness: The colouring sheets all had our cultural spots in Lethbridge. Keeping being an A+ local business.

So I went here yesterday for my 18th birthday party and I DO NOT recommend. 20 percent gratuity for HORRIBLE service. We ordered dip and got charged for it and we never received it. We had to talk to multiple employees including the bartender to pay and we were still ignored. The food was gross and my pasta was cold and I asked for a new one and I never got it. Even when we were getting refills most of them we never got. I regret going here insane gratuity for almost no service. We waited so long for service and food and the food wasn t the best. I was extremely dissatisfied. The only good thing was how considerate about allergies. I will never go here again

Fabulous meal .. great service and a lovely Pina colada

The food is fine, but could use a refresh. Steaks were overcooked, and the vegetables were limp. I think their method of having a different person serve than the person who takes the order is awkward. My plate was placed, removed, and taken back to the kitchen only to return a few minutes later and a few degrees colder. The guy performing this pantomime was unapologetic. The restaurant is generally noisy and hard to have a conversation.

Terribly slow service. Even with having to pay a 20% gratuity for 5 separate bills all were printed incorrectly. Had to order multiple drinks per person because service was so slow. Will not return with 10 people ever again.

I liked this place. Only issue is how loud it is. It s a big, busy place. Good for them! But I did request a quieter area for personal reasons and we were placed right in the very middle of the whole restaurant, with a few days notice on a reso, I figured we d be anywhere but the loudest spot. Service was good, the girl was definitely new but she was very nice and polite. Food was decent, we ll probably go back but for lunch or something at a quieter time.

Just picked up the Bangkok lettuce wraps and it was the best take out meal I have ever had.

We are consistent visitors to Firestone because we are guaranteed an eclectic meal.

Updated Nov 4: steak was tough and unseasoned, ice cream cake in warm dishes and melted quickly, calamari was chewy. Very slow service. Old review: Great food, as usual. I got the sweet pulled pork enchilada, which I believe is a limited time part of their summer menu. Fantastic.

This is my opinion, and my experience with my adult son. Came in as a group. Strike 1 - put us on bartop style seating with small tables. No space for cups /plate ratio. (The interior is beautiful minus flashing screens showing menus items) Brickston the night before was way classier. Strike 2- the wait. Arrived to finish was hours. Ive never waited that long for a meal ever, we have gone with substantially larger groups and experienced faster service. Strike 3- the prime rib was extremely salty, the mashed potatoes were were not scratch made - they were box, someone forgot to rehydrate them well. (As per my adult son) (My $42 steak was grisly and the crispy potatoes were soggy mashed potatoes that werent hot The garlic toast should be called rocks...so damn hard..why? Now the GOOD The chicken spring rolls....yes Fried mushrooms...yes Fried pickles yes As for the bill...yikes. DEFINITELY WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.

Birthday celebration, I chose the expensive hand cut ribeye steak. First impressions weren t good, the steak looked small and bland. I took a bite or two to confirm it was chewy and tasteless. Asked for it to be replaced. Server and boss responded fantastic. The replacement was great. Should of been right first time folks.

Food is just always ok. Desserts and fancy drinks are amazing though.

The last piece of roast Prime Rib Eye was gone so ordered Fish and Chips. Wonderful presentation.

Came in tonight for a late dinner and what I ordered wasn t up to par. I brought it to our waitresses attention and she was amazing and right away offered options to make it right. The manager also came to our table to address the issue and offered a resolution that exceeded our expectations. As a manager of a business, I want to send out a shout out to to our waitress and manager and thank you for making it right. We will be back.

Little loud but overall was pleasant

Nice looking restaurant inside. Went there for my daughters b-day,you have servers and hosts walking around everywhere! Seated at a table by a host,was given menus. Waited 10mins for a server to come and get our order,the family ordered a hamburger,the daughter ordered a grilled cheese and I ordered the pepporoni pizza. That took 20 mins to arrive. Then to boot the server never came to see how the meal was or even come to offer refills. We spent $70 on a subpar meal and service. I am normally a good tipper,I thought that it would be disrespectful to leave a .02 tip so I went up to $2.02. With overpriced everything now adays,its nice to see that service has gone down the drain! I work hard for my money,so you want a good tip? You should work just as hard! I can guarantee you that I will never step foot in that restaurant ever again! Just have to say that the server should feel lucky to even get a $2 tip! Dont waste time going to this place! Better food and service at the 7-11 across the street!

We take my son out there every year for his Birthday for the past 5 years and we always have a great experience with staff and food. 5 stars all the way. Kid-friendliness: They look forward to the dessert at the end of barely eating their food lol.

Ive had breakfast here a couple of times, and its good-tasting food; the portions are large, which is fantastic, and youre going to love the pleasant staff. Props to all staff, management, cooks and the servers!

Went for a ladies night out. Food was very good. We appreciate that extra care that was taken with one of our partys food allergies. The staff were very considerate and took precautions to make sure there was no cross contamination. Dietary restrictions: They are very allergy aware and have a complete database of all ingredients used in each dish.

Was our first time trying this place out. Was tasty, great food, and super friendly staff. Definitely coming back.

My order was good but my friends food werent they were complaining that the beef was tough and too much cream sauce on a small serving of meat. The ambiance was great, overall the restaurant looks very nice inside. The service was very slow we waited for 1hr. and 20mins. to have our foods served.
