The food was great. Very tasty

AWFUL eggs benny now. Sauce is package and they charge the same price as the fancy restaurants who make hollandaise homemade sauce.

Stopped in for lunch. Ricky s is a solid choice for good variety, comfort food and reasonable prices.

Went here for breakfast and we had to double check we were in a Rickys. One of our group ordered the Monte Cristo and it was uneatable. They did take it off the cheque but ruined the breakfast.

Probably one of my favorite restaurants in town

I don t know if it was busy that afternoon or not but I ordered lemon pepper wings and got plain wing wings with absolutely nothing in it, not even salt or pepper but they don t get your pick up order right

Good food and good service

Our waitress was friendly at first but then got mad despite us being polite. The food was awful. It took a long time for the food to come out and when it came it was cold and bland. Chicken tasted like rubber and was soggy. Waffles tasted like baking soda and left my mouth dry. When it was time to pay we got the bill but didnt get the machine until we called her over. Waitress ripped the reciept out aggressively and threw it at my ex boyfriend. I dont recommend coming here.

Food and service was amazing

Came for breakfast this morning the person who sat us didn t know who was serving us then waited 20 minutes for server to see what we needed anything got a coffee then waited 20 or so minutes for server to come back took are order then people got serve around us that came in wait later this us we where informed she forgot to put are order in at this moment we are still waiting

Soup and salad, grilled cheese with tomato and bacon and salad. All were tasty. Great service!

I ordered chicken tenders, curly fries and a fish and chips meal for takeout. The tenders were like eating rubbery cardboard and had no flavour. The 4 pieces were more like bites for $12.50 The curly fries were not spiced like were shown on the online menu. They were plain curly fries and tasted like cardboard. I didn t even know they came that way. Undercooked anyway. The fish in chips wasn t much better. The rubbery fish was good enough to eat but the regular fries were gross and undercooked. The coleslaw had more flavour than everything else. The service was prompt but maybe that was just because they were dead at the time. Mind you I had to drive back around once we noticed the coke we ordered was diet not regular. Atmosphere . All I can say is it seems this chain has gone the way of the rest in Canada. Reduced portion sizes and quality mixed with sub standard subsidized foreign labour to keep corporate profits margins high. WFP \\\

Took my mom there for Mother s Day. Ordered a Philly beef sandwich and it was all hard fat and gross couldn t even chew it. Told the waitress who was very rude and she looked at it and said that s nasty and walked away. Decided not to make a scene because of Mother s Day so I just left it and ordered a glass of water that never came. Don t ever eat there!!! They charged full price for the meal when I didn t eat the sandwich and was rude I ll never go back and I tell everyone

Great portions!

I was wondering to take out my food, without combo, they charge me 20.50$ there is no drink just small fries and the food the burger was disgusting I couldn t eat throw it in garbage, and the lady front the disk was so rude. It s so embarrassing and disgusting. Finally I bought just one garbage burger almost 21$.

Had chicken and waffles. Chicken well prepared. Bacon cold. Waffle overcooked and cold. Butter wouldnt melt on waffles. Asked for another hot waffles. They brought another waffles, also cold and overcooked . Wife asked for icing sugar for her French toast. They brought her flour!

Ordered California Benny for brunch. When my order arrived the eggs were cool the holidiase sauce and the hash browns were cold. The server took the order back to the kitchen to warm it up. The server relayed the message from the manager that the eggs were cold because they were on tomato and avocado. I was not impressed and will think twice before I go back to this restaurant. Me and my spouse ordered 2 meals and 2 drinks. coke and root beer. I immediately detected they both tasted off. After I got our food I tried again and could tell they were both flat. They had ZERO carbonation to them. Our server never checked on us so 5 minutes later while she was walking to another table I brought this to her attention. Our drinks were still nearly full. I asked if these are supposed to be flat with no carbonation for some reason and she said no they should taste like pop should taste. She said she would investigate why they are flat and get back to me. 15 minutes go by and she never got back to us despite helping numerous new and existing customers. During this time I wasn t about to sit around waiting so we continued eating and had to drink the flat drinks. She eventually came back and asked if we are done. I again (2nd time) asked her about these drinks and why they re flat with literally zero carbonation in them. She sounded surprised. She came back with our bills and I asked if she was going to remove the drinks from the bill as they effectively flat pop. She said no she won t take them off the bill. I didn t bother arguing it as I didn t want to be that person . We paid and left. I would have been content if she just didn t charge for the drinks because they were the same as leaving an open pop out for 4 days. Nobody likes that. I would have preferred water if I knew this is what you serve for pop there. Not only that, but during our entire stay there not once, not a single time, did the server check on us to see if there was anything wrong with our food, nor to even offer a refill for our drinks (which would have prompted me to bring the drinks up again being a problem, but if the drinks were fine the server basically wouldn t have permitted us to have any refills as she did not check on us). I m confused if I m supposed to go behind the bar and get my own drinks or if the server is supposed to do it like at other restaurants. In addition, other complaints, as mentioned above, the server never checking on us or even asking if we would like refills. Most restaurants offer free refills on pop. You charge $4 each and your glasses are significantly smaller than what I m used to at other restaurants. Your drink situation was just all round a disaster as well as the server. Normally I don t complain but this experience was all around just bad in every aspect. On top of the drinks and the server ignoring us, there were other issues. The chicken strips were soggy and may not have actually been fully cooked. They were chewy. The tables don t have napkins or napkin dispensers so instead you only get 1 single napkin each. As the waitress ignored us I couldn t ask for more unless I went up to the bar to ask somebody who works up there so I didn t bother. Overall, the food, drinks, and service were all terrible. I ve never had such a bad experience at a sit down restaurant before. I hope the $8 for the 2 pops, and skimping out on napkins for customers, is worth the profit as opposed to having me come back. I won t be going back to any Ricky s based on this experience. Please note it was not busy while we were there so I dont understand why the server could not resolve the situation after numerous requests and why the server refused to check on us during our visit. UPDATE After the owner requested I reach out to them to investigate further, I e-mailed them offering the assistance. The owner responded merely restating what they said in their reply on Google Reviews and nothing more. No offers on how to resolve the experience. I feel their response to my complaint here was merely to appear attentive to other readers, but in reality they did not extend any offerings to resolve the issue. Dont be fooled by their response. They do not ask you to email them to resolve it. Its just to make them appear on here to be attentive to the complaint. I will say it again. I hope the $8 for 2 flat pops and the money for soggy chicken strips is worth this.

Had the Califresco salad, was amazing. Service was quick and pleasant

My husband ordered Eggs Benny they were over cooked, not a soft centre. Very small biscuit and maybe deli ham, skimpy as well. Hash browns were undercooked. I had the special and the only thing warm was the sausage. Food

Is going to Ricky yesterday for dinner was tarable. Neither myself nor my partner enjoyed the meal whatsoever my sons lasagna smelt sour. The waitresses and wait stop were very polite nice but the food seriously lacked and the prices were outrageous For the quality that the food was. I will never go back. Update Thought I would give them a second chance for a meal. They were even worse this time. The wait staff was ignorant and rude I will not spend my money there anymore.

If I could give just no stars I would give none but this is ridiculous I ordered takeout for my birthday dinner the braised short ribs was barely anything like two small pieces of meat with a little bit of mashed potatoes and vegetables that had no flavor and also ordered the French onion soup for my girlfriend and she found it very salty and didnt taste the greatest will not be returning especially since the ribs were almost 24 dollars definitely not worth the price will not be going back here again would rather go to moxies or luigis

Great food and service

After asking for a clean knife 4 times this is the best they could do. Probably best to avoid any meal that requires a steak knife. The food was good and good value for the money.

This used to be one of my familys favorite places. I am not sure if it went through an ownership or management change but it has certainly gone downhill. We went in for dinner and there were maybe 5-6 tables occupied with plenty open and we still had to wait 20 minutes to get a table. We ended up walking out after waiting for another 15-20 mins without even being acknowledged.

They USED to have the best eggs Benny in town. The hollandaise sauce was the best, taste homemade. We have breakfast there about every 2 weeks. So... SO disappointed the other day when my Canadian Benny was brought to the table. Right away I knew it was different. I told the waitress this doesnt look the same she assured me that it was the same. My first bite, I KNEW it was different. This sauce was not their normal hollandaise sauce, taste like package... I could hardly eat half. My husband also only ate half and Received a discount on our meal. The waitress told us that she couldnt understand what the cook said about the sauce. The waitress told us that some ingredients they cant get.. Not sure what since its made from butter, eggs, lemon. Will not return until the hollandaise sauce is back to bring tasty and not package. You lost a couple regular customers. =========================== May 7/23 NO response from owner

A HUGE shoutout to our waitress from this morning Marelyn. When we got there this morning we noticed how busy the restaurant was and there was only one young lady doing the waitressing, bussing, and attending as a hostess. Our first impression was to leave however her quick response to our presence was amazing. I was very impressed by her composure, professionalism and stellar service on point. Our meal and service was above and beyond and would like to recognize this young lady for her amazing work. More companies need people like Marelyn. Thank you!!!

Where to even start this review ? This visit was probably the worst one I have ever had at this location! We waited so long to be seated , even longer for someone to even acknowledge our table for drinks .. we were all ready to order by the time someone came to our table. The waitress that was there didn t seem to be even listening to us .. as she messed up a few things from our order. Then we had to ask for refills among other things like utensils/napkins then we even had to ask her for the kids dessert that comes with their meals ..then the waitress finally brings the bill and we go to pay it , but notice she has charged us for things we shouldn t have to pay for according to the menu. Then she proceeded to argue with my mother about said item.. it s such a shame to have an experience like this .. my kids love this place ! The treasure at the end is awesome!

I m speakless. Words couldn t even describe the service that I received, the atmosphere the vibes and food was phenomenal Parking: Parking is always available with easy to the facility.

Our first stop in Canada, our server, Brooklyn, was very patient and explained local dining customs, ie. tipping, tea, poutine). Our food was hot and the order was correct. We got poutine for our starter, my husband had a burger& soup and I had an omelet. All was wonderful! Brooklyn checked in on us multiple times. A great experience!

Had a great breakfast here. I usually frequent other breakfast venues but this one won me over.

Ate here in Calgary and it was awesome, so our family wanted to try it in Lethbridge yesterday and we were very disappointed. The total cost for 3 meals plus driving from the west side to go pick it up, waiting at the front for a while with no acknowledgement and being hurried by a staff inside to go wait at the front , made the experience so much more worse. We all agreed that the food was not the same and each of us could not finish our meals as it was so bad. I hate to do a bad review, but you need to get your act together. Let me know when you are ready and we may wish to try again.

Brought the family here for supper and it was not good. The prime rib dinner was cold and there was no taste at all. The server said there was only medium and up. When the prime rib came out it was blue rare. There was no gravy and the Yorkshire pudding was a rock hard.The starters came out after the meal was out already and the starters were also incorrect. Also the server did not know what the drink was that I asked for and we had told her what it was and still came out wrong.

I will start this off with our waiter being great. There was an issue with the food coming out prepared wrong which is not her fault and she did fix the issue with the order. She was also on top of or drinks. How ever, I did receive the Onion root in my breakfast that overpowered the meal, pretty sure that wasnt supposed to be apart of it. If it was, then I suggest adjusting the menu to account for this additional ingredient. potatos, onions (including root), cheese etc...

The service was better than courteous. It was friendly and welcoming. The food came quickly and tasted great. Compliments to the chef.

I dont often go to Rickys but do once in a while as treat. Usually everything about eating here is great. So hopefully this was a one off experience where the service was very slow and put a damper on the experience. Its worth a visit for anyone to make up their mind for themselves

We eat here weekly. Staff are great but the food keeps going downhill. Schnitzelfest is a waste of money. Dry potatoes and no gravy unless you want to pay $5 more?? Ooof. Coleslaw has been soggy and almost rancid on several occasions. Inconsistent portions on some dishes.

I had the fish . For a meal that was over $20. My fish was so greasy I couldnt taste the fish. The waitress was fantastic though.

Staff is always friendly and the food is great. The ginger chicken bowl is always fantastic.

We were all going to eat here. When entering there were a couple groups leaving and telling us they were not waiting ... we were in no rush so went in. At the hostess desk they had, we stood. A staff came over, threw a pile of menus onto the desk towards me hard enough many then fell off that desk., then turned and went back they way they had come. No welcome or any acknowledgment that I was waiting and standing there. No thank you... we left and we all ate elsewhere. Busy or not, training and a smile would go a long way.

The breakfast plates were good but the service on the day we went was fantastic! Quick to get our food to the table and plenty of coffee when needed with a good portion of cheerful banter between visits from our waitress. 5 star visit all the way!

My wife and I come to Rickys atleast twice a month for brunch. The staff are always so friendly and the food is delicious! One of the best brunch spots in town!

I went to this Rickys for the first time recently and was surprised at both the quality of food and the service. I have been to other Rickys restaurants before and did not like the food at all. I was told that this location uses fresh meat and produce. I had the Po Boy sandwich, it was unreal. Highly recommend.

We just came back from Rickys All Day Grill in Lethbridge. I can say this, the meal for my wife and myself was the worst we have ever had. My meal was fish and chips the fish was dark brown and over cooked and as greasy as it could get. The coleslaw was tasteless and the fries were awful. My wife had the lasagna which looked like a piece was cut off of a left over lasagna and thrown in a desert bowl which did not even fill the little desert dish. Her salad was ok but for $14.50 the meal was disgusting to say the least and very small. The waitress didnt seem to care about it at all and never stopped by to see if we liked it or not. This waitress was like a zombie I had to ask her twice for vinegar. We wont be back ever. If I could rate this restaurant it would be in the negative. Tuffy Leroux

Take-out order gone wrong. Lukewarm soup and no spoon, garlic bread instead of toast and a much smaller portion of the chorizo breakfast bowl than its in-house counterpart.

I ordered two egg but with butter milk pancakes. My partner had the fish sandwich lunch special. Great service and good food. I would recommend this restaurant.

We arrived at 1:00 pm We were greeted by South Asian fellow and was told we would have to wait 8 to 10 minutes. (There was approximately 5 or 6 tables in use) After a bit of a wait the fellow told the waitress that he would be seating us with her....at that point the waitress threw down a menu and stated that she would not serve us and stomped off! She may have been having a bad day, however, throwing a tantrum in front of customers is totally unacceptable. My daughter, husband and myself looked at eachother and then exited the restaurant. The South Asian fellow came out the side door to our daughter and told her he had a table for us. She told him to forget it....only a few tables were in use and then the waitress throws a hissy fit? We wont be back!

We decided to go to Rickys in Lethbridge because we had an awesome experience at the Rickys in Creston. In Creston we ordered the fish and shrimp platter. The portion was large; 10 big butterflied shrimp and 2 pieces of fish. We ordered the same in Lethbridge and was disappointed. Both the shrimp and fish were very small. The batter on the fish was soggy. We also ordered the Monte Cristo. The bread was a sweet brioche and did not go well with the savoury insides. We were a bit disappointed and will probably not go back to the Lethbridge Rickys.

Food is great. Milkshakes are amazing, especially the peach one (they give you the glass and the metal cup that it is mixed in)! Serve is usually fast, depending on the server but it gets busy closer to 11, 11:30am. Parking: Parking is located on the north and west side of the building. The stalls are on the smaller side, and there arent many when it is busy

Great to be able to enjoy a meal with friends again. Rickys always puts the spice into life. The pork schnitzel was exactly as it should be.

Like coming here for breakfast good food earlier the better, can get busy around 8:30-9:30 on weekends.

Very good food, excellent knowledgeable staff. I have allergies and the server knew exactly how to order me a tasty breakfast avoiding everything.

I am not a fan of Rickys. The food does not have a lot of flavor (but the portion sizes are big), and the coffee is terrible (too strong). I also think closing in the afternoon at 2 pm is very inconvenient. I feel rushed to get out by 2 pm, and if you want a late lunch it just isnt an option. The service is good overall, but not always super friendly. The only reason why I occasionally go here is because I have a few senior friends who like it, otherwise this restaurant would not be on my list at all.

Nice little place to take the kids out for a sit down dinner without breaking the bank. Decent food, my kids were happy and ate their whole meals. It was a little messy, a bit of trash on the floor and under our table, and the table could have definitely been cleaned better, but it wasnt that bad and I will most likely return with the family in the future.

Always enjoy the great food. Service is very prompt and enthusiastic. Kids had fun with the coloring and game sheet. Look forward to going again.

I have been here before and usually have a great experience. Went in today for lunch, the sever didn t really seem to care to ask about the food or to check in with us. The food wasn t the best, I ordered crab cake and French onion soup, the soup tasted like it had been burnt or sitting for too long.

Oh my God our grandsons, who are celiac, enjoyed one of the best gluten free breakfasts they have ever had and thats saying something coming from a 8 and 6 year old, my wife and I had a breakfast that was equally amazing and super filling, but the biggest plus was our server, this lady knows how to make you feel at home not to mention she is great with kids and her attitude sure helped kick our day off on a happy and positive note, we had a great experience.

Your owner needs to read the COVID rules again. 25 Oct means 2 vax not 2nd vax +14. Not good business. Every other restuarant in town will benefit though. I left and went to another one and was served very well with the same documents I showed your server.
