The service was great, very friendly. Food was good, and it was cheap.
Taco Del Mar is one of the few places that is still affordable to eat at. I often want to just eat something simple and cheap for around $10-$15 maximum rather than go to some other restaurant and spend like $25. It's a place that I can eat as often as I want at without any worries, and I do eat quite a bit! There are so many things to appreciate about their food. It's simple, healthy, not greasy, and I have never had any upset stomach problems. Ever since I became allergic to milk it's been hard to find a place to eat, but I can always come here and leave without gut-wrenching pain no problem. I can even come with my family members who have gluten intolerance. It's super hard to think of places to eat that offer both dairy free and gluten free options that are affordable and taste okay! Their fresh guacamole that they make at the restaurant is my favourite. The staff are all really nice and if anything is ever wrong I let them know politely and it gets fixed.
It definitely seems like some staff may be training but they’re certainly doing their best. Working as a team and helping each other. Made great suggestions for toppings for my fish tacos. Food was good, bathrooms clean (but could use a better hand dryer or paper towels. Air is as strong as just blowing on your hands) and the back patio is neat to have.

Just went for lunch, and got a burrito bowl. I was surprised to watch them put the shrimp in the microwave as I was expecting fresh shrimp.... I also purchased a fountain pop. I just dumped it because there was a moth and a bunch of other bugs in it, wish I would have taken a picture but I almost puked. Might want to check at cleaning that machine because surly that would not pass health inspection ...
This visit is a 5 star one. Really depends on who is working. Our Taco salads were full this time, and he didn't hesitate to take the extra minute to bring out more items for ones that were pretty much empty. We appreciated leaving with full salads at a reasonable price. Great service this evening. Highly recommend coming here for the Taco Salad, and our daughter likes the quesadilla as well.
I've been coming here for years and have had great service, good food. Tonight will likely be the last. It took us 15 minutes to talk a guy through making our food and he put tiny amounts of everything on. Enchiladas shouldn't have one teaspoon of sauce on it and hardly any meat. The new plates are much smaller as well. Not impressed. Both plates weigh less together than one used to.
Great food. The menu is a bit expensive (>$10/meal), but that is the case with all Taco Del Mar restaurants. They have a great Tuesday special though. For $6 you get two tacos with any meat, a side, and a drink. Best rice and beans from a fast food place. Everything is fresh and they take the time to make your meal well. Staff are super nice! There is not very much seating, but you can go and sit in the larger subway next door.
I need to remember to go here more often.

Burrito was a complete rip off. $12 for mostly tortilla with a little bit of rice, beans and ground beef. Go somewhere that doesnt blatantly rip you off.
Awesome meal. Newton (I think thats how I spell his name) is an awesome guy to talk to while eating there. Very friendly. Will be back for sure.

We ordered hot lunch for my children s elementary school and they did a wonderful job of delivering and making sure the lunch was hot and ready on time. Very friendly and great to work with. Kid-friendliness: They made modifications for their tacos depending on the kids preference.
Came here for burritos. We used to be regulars years ago. Now it is different. They make burritos and ask you what you want, but dont listen to what you say, so they put ingredients you dont want in it. And dont take them off or make a new one. Would never recommend.

Not like it used to be, ordered a burrito which used to be huge, a real filling meal, now its shrunk a lot and the price has gone up, wont be going there anymore unfortunately.

Recently moved from BC to Calgary and was disappointed to see there are no Taco Del Mar locations in town but luck would have it I had a few days work in Lethbridge and found they have a hidden gem. Love their burritos

The food was delicious and the staff were amazing, they served 7 of us with speed and were friendly and helpful in choosing our items to purchase. We had never been to Taco Del Mar before. Great experience overall and the good tasted great .

This place is great! Atmosphere is chill and cool but the staff member, his name is Jawand Singh Manan is also really friendly. He knows what hes doing and what hes talking about, and you can tell making the customers happy is his main priority. Food is pretty good and for their price is 100% worth it.

First time coming here. Staff was very patient with my 7 yr old who couldnt decide what he wanted. Food was good aswell, only issue is the tinfoil they wrap the tacos in. The tortilla kinda sticks to it but was good!
Not a fan of the culture. Ive been twice and theres a lot of bad energy in the room when I go. The tacos are better than almost every chain.

It was absolutely horrible Stale tacos. They gave like 5 tater tot s with a bunch of sauce on top. Super soggy will never come back.
Since east indian management they started cheaping out on cheap taco shells from grocery store and dinner plates portions are smaller as well they raised prices. They are going for prophet not quantity of portions

Went there at 10:38 and the door was still locked. There was an employee there but when we knocked on the door the guy just waved us away. Not sure why they are not open but wasnt very impressed.

Best tacos. No doubt
We went for dinner yesterday (pick up) I - during a time when the pandemic is out of control in Alberta, we anticipated the business taking protocol seriously. Unfortunately, this was far from accurate. Upon arrival, we saw two maskless teenagers in the store, despite the sign on the door indicating masks are mandatory. The brazen teens were in there for over twenty minutes while we waited to order outside. Finally, I called the restaurant. The young girl acknowledged they have a mask policy, said sorry, and hung up. We left, and will not be going back. It is absolutely necessary to take the rules seriously, and we hope youll avoid disappointment with this business. Keep yourself safe, look elsewhere.

I absolutely love going here for lunch! The burritos are genuinely massive and filling! The service is quick which is great if you are on a tight schedule. Very accommodating when I ask for extra hot sauce on the side etc. I ve never been disappointed!

An excellent taco & burrito destination. The namesake fish tacos are great & the good-sized burritos are recommended. A varied menu features reasonable prices. Be sure to search out the hidden patio in the back.
The food that was delivered was delicious! But we ordered a taco kit... And didnt get taco shells... So... Meh? I mean, we got 4.99+tax refunded for the inconvenience but... It was a taco kit with no shells.

I always get a chicken burrito with rice, beans, mango salsa, some cilantro and habañero sauce! I say wow, every time I devour it! I love this place because of the great food and cleanliness, and quick service!

Oh. Wow!!! Their enchilada and taco platter. 11.99 and the food is plentiful and fresh. Zomg. I have a new favorite. I actually felt healthy after eating from here. Try it. You wont regret.
Beautiful service and yummy food(Enchiladas platter)
I tried a fish, beef, and chicken soft taco with various toppings and salsas. The flavors were authentic and everything was fresh. The only downside is that they wrap a warm item in foil which causes moisture to build up and the soft taco shell ended up falling apart. The fish also lost its crisp. It was extremely messy and soggy. The liquid in the salsas did not help either. I would give them a five stars if they can fix this.

Come here about once a week or so. They have some of the most friendly staff for a fast food restaurant ever. Their food is delicious. Their tacos and burritos are great as are their salad bowls. Highly recommend. My kids love it too!

I was in Lethbridge for a training conference, a friend recommended that I go to this place for lunch. I had a burrito and it was fantastic! They had a lot of toppings that I could choose from and everything was fresh. The burrito was thick and tasted great. The two young ladies who helped me at the counter were friendly and helpful. I ll definitely be back to eat there again.

Last time i had this place it was greasy and gross i believe i tossed it out with out eating it. My kid was like dad lets try taco Delmar i kind of cringed but it was actully really good this time. thanks for the great experience
This restaurant is the best that I have ever been too. I will 100% recommend the taco salad and if you go on Thursday it s cheaper. But still the most amazing restaurant I have ever been too

This is like the subway of mexican food. Extremely good,satisfying,quick, and cheap, I paid about $8 for a 5lb boruto.
Waited well over 40 minutes and come to find the tacos were completely mush. My guess is they made the food as soon as it came in without checking the time of delivery and what not. Not even a phone call to warn or nothing. Very unhappy and i truly love this restaurant. But skip and restaurants really need to communicate on timing cause this is wack

Couldnt give zero stars. Pulled up at 4:19 pm, husband checked they were open and came to help get our kid out of the car seat. By 4:21 worker had locked the door saying they were now closed. Very disappointing, this is usually my favorite place to eat.

3 pork tacos on corn tortillas is hard to find in Lethbridge. The taco maker was generous with the pork and tacos. It was delicious.
Dont get your hard shell tacos to go then drive to the west side, sog city yo, still ate it. Great fast taco joint! (Dining-in recommended though seating is limited)

Fantastic American style burritos - big and lots of toppings. This is definitely the best place in town and worth the trip. Theres just a few tables to sit, but the same people own the subway next door, so you can go over for a table.
