I got the five tacos for twenty six dollars. It was very good.I just wish I got more :) Food

This is a real WOW !!! I have eaten at couple in the area and this one is the street flavour with the cozy atmosphere that makes you feel somewhere in Mexico City Laura and Mr Genaro will make you feel like in home .

This restaurant has some of the best tacos I ve ever had. The quality of the food is very impressive. The atmosphere of the place is also very nice, they usually play good music. The only thing I didn t like about my visit is that the servers take a long time to see you, so paying for the bill could take a while.

This place is so cool. It is like you walk off the street in Lethbridge Alberta, Canada and walk into an authentic restaurant in Mexico. The food was great, the tacos I had were fantastic! To put icing on the experience, the employees were talking Spanish. I couldnt help but use any little bit of Spanish I could remember which made things even more fun for me! This place is a gem! Vegetarian options: There are a number of vegetarian options and a few vegan options. They are all labeled on the menu. Dietary restrictions: They have gluten free, vegetarian, and vegan options. They are labeled on the menu and easy to find when you know what to look for. Parking: I found parking while I was driving around the block. While it may not be right in front, I think parking can be found with there not being too much of a hike for anyone.

Food here is always amazing! Service is always friendly and kind. Service can be slow at times, but the food and kindness always make up for it. Its my favorite place to get tacos.

I asked for food without chili peppers, the waitress confirmed that it was without, and it came super spicy and I have a chili pepper allergy, it also came with a lot of coriander, there were hardly any vegetables in my vegetarian friends rice and the tortillas were very oily, the price is not worth the food, the drink was pleasant.

Go get some TACOS!! Parking: Parking is free after 5 downtown. Otherwise its like 1$ for an hour. Super reasonable!

We went on Cinco de Mayo with my family and it was super busy but we were still taken care of and immediately apologized about the mistakes made, the food is authentic Mexican food and absolutely delicious! Always wanted to go to this place, always heard great things and just had to try it for myself. I went during their lunch rush and was seated almost immediately, ordering from the menu and waitress help with explaining the courses were very informative and helpful. Too a little long to receive my food but by goodness it was delicious and worth it. Forgot the exact name of the item but it was a spicy pork taco and it was delicious. The fried tortillas and cheese were delicious yet so simple. The fresh squeezed hibiscus juice was probably the most refreshing drink Ive ever had. Priced reasonably for authentic Mexican food, this place is definitely worth it!

The owners are from Mexico and make real Mexician cuisine. Our server was fantastic, friendly and knew the menu like the back of her hand. She was able to help us with a quick and delicious lunch. We also enjoyed the authentic Mexician coffee; wow it was great. The decor really adds to the overall experience. We are already looking forward to going again to enjoy one of the main course items.

I would have gave the food 5 stars but I asked if my meal would be spicy because thats what I was looking for the cook assured me it would be fairly spicy.... I got the meal to go and when I arrived home excited to try it I was disappointed with how mild it was.... Absolutely zero hotness. My partner loved it as she doesnt like spicy. Otherwise clean, friendly, attractive place to eat. Im going to ask for extra spicy next time.

Food is good but the service is terrible. Waiter kept walking back and forth without bringing our food or drinks. When we ordered dessert we waited 30 minutes till we just got up and left to pay. The cake was on the hot lamp for 30 minutes when it was a cold dessert we ordered. We declined it and left

Driving by and seen a flashy sign that caught our attention but it was the Tacos I really wanted. Walked in on closing and was offered the option of getting take out. Got kicked off the patio next door which I totally understand and found a public table a block down and enjoyed our dinner with two very intoxicated males that walked up and sat next to us. Too bad I didnt have enough to share... probably wouldnt have though because the food was definitely the best thing Ive eaten in Lethbridge so far... would definitely eat here again... too bad the place closes so early!

This place is fabulous. What a gem! The chiqueles are so so good.

The food is delicious! I spent much time in central and south America and that felt just like home. Went there a couple times, it does take some time to receive your good after ordering, but at least its worth it. It happens sometimes that the servers forget to bring you utensils or even a plate. But overall worth five stars.

Good flavours, I had the mole enchilada thing which was a decent serving size, maybe for a moderate sized women, might want to double your order if your a working man and over 6 foot like me, but then your running 30-40 dollars for your meal. Good service and friendly staff. Buuuttttt there is no hot sauce here and serving sizes are smaller than you d like. Especially don t order 3 tacos unless your a kid or an anorexic girl (friends I had with me made the mistake) they are tiny, do not expect to be filled.

Great to see an independant restaurant in lethbridge and family run! Great little family run place, I go ever time I am in town. Everything is fresh and you can tell its made in-house and does not just arrive in a sysco truck. Love being on the patio right across from the park so your kids can play in the fountain while you enjoy yourself ;)

My boyfriend and I had an amazing experience dining here for lunch on pride in the park Saturday. It was packed full but they were able to sit and serve us in under an hour. The atmosphere is so amazing too, very much feels like mexico. I had a chili tamale and the ceviche tostada with rice. My meal was wonderful, the tamale had a nice kick, and the ceviche was so fresh. My boyfriend had the enmoladas, the mole sauce was absolutely delicious. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic Mexican cuisine.

Great place to come for real Mexican food.

Empanada was very hot and seasoned well, tamale was unfortunately not good at all, taco was great as was my horchata. Some problems with ordering and what we got, and felt we were lied to by someone, but perhaps a language thing.

About as authentic as youll get when it comes to Mexican food in this city. The staff are lovely.

Tacos, very good and very reasonable

Everytime i visit lethbridge i make an effort to visit and to get others to try out their meals( i often recomend Lengua tacos cause on the Reserve we eat beef tongue as a delicacy). I absolutely love the family and their food is made with such care and love. The art and culture in the restruant is so vibrant and pleasing to the eye. I often get emotional from just how good the meal is. My personal favorite meal is Chilaquiles Pollo & Huevos with side of the house hot sauce (best hot sauce i have tasted) with Auga Fresca and Tea.

They needed more waitress too much work for one, and food took forever they didnt even get our drinks or cuttelery, but in conclusion, food was yummy and very well decorated

We had take-out, and we only ordered tamales. The tamales were mushy, had very little meat. I would not recommend this place at all.

Yum. The sopas astecas was the star of the show for me, but everything was great in general. Stay away from the tres leches cake though, mine was frozen at the bottom and practically inedible.

The service was brutal. We asked the server recommendations and she had no idea what we were saying. Once she took our order we never saw her again. We had to walk to the kitchen and wave over the chef to ask for water. The food was very mediocre, the atmosphere is good but what does it matter when everything else is not good. The chef/owner was extremely nice so I feel bad writing this review but while we were there 2 other couples complained. I can t understand how this is rated so high. That s why I m giving it a 2 - we came cuz of the rating and were extremely disappointed

One of my new favourites in Lethbridge. Service to be celebrated, authentic atmosphere and fantastic food. Their green salsa had such a full flavor and the carne asada was out of this world. Everything that I saw come out of the kitchen made my mouth water, I plan on coming back until I have tried everything on the menu.... Twice! Kid-friendliness: High chairs available and appropriately sized portions for younger kids.

The restaurant has lots of seating but feels cosy. I came for lunch and since they had a large menu I asked the server if she could recommend something. She was friendly enough but couldn t give me any direction so I ended up ordering standard tacos. I was excited to see they had Lengua on the menu but again was disappointed it wasn t available. She said I could order 3 different kinds (3 for $12) so I ordered the Pastor, Barbacoa, and the Carnitas. They were on the small side but enough for me since I wasn t that hungry. Two out of the three were a bit on the dry side. Overall the experience was okay.

Wasnt a good experience. First off, mexican restaurants that Ive been to before have at least started you off with some tortilla chips and salsa. They didnt have what I wanted off the menu so I ordered 3 beef tacos...not good. The other person in my party ordered enchiladas and when I had a bite it was bland and I got a gross piece of chicken....like cartilage. No rice as a side to the meal. Overpriced and we left completely dissatisfied. And a paper straw in a margarita?? Just overall not good.

Yes yes yes. I ordered one of everything yesterday and Holy moly it was all amazing. The tamale was a little burnt but I still ate it and even that was yummy. Spent 70$ and 2 people ate 2x I would definitely recommend to a friend.

Awesome place for great food. The service was superb, bathrooms clean, over all it was a cute place. If one is thinking on going, it is best to phone ahead as they are usually packed. If you prefer, you can eat outside in another cute area. It was an awesome experience with awesome food and awesome people who make sure you are enjoying your experience. We will definitely be back!

Great food but horrible service for a family. If you have little kids make sure to not be shy and bug the server A LOT! They do not come to your table often and missed many request made to accommodate small kids.

I had the 3 taco meal. I tried 3 different meats (Marinated park, Beef, Deep Fried Pork). I though they were all quite tasty. But, be warned the tacos are very much authentic Mexican. Obviously, this is not for everyone. I have 4 stars instead of 5 just because the service was a little slow.

The food is always pretty great here. Its not a place I eat often, but thats only because I work during their hours of operation mostly. I made a point of going today so I could use a gift card I won, but when I arrived to pickup I was told I couldnt use it because no one had a code for the register. Fortunately I was able to pay without using the gift card, but its a bit frustrating when I went out of my way to eat here just to use the gift card and at the last minute was told I couldnt. I have no complaints about the food or service, more frustrated with the system.

So fresh and delicious. You can tell its all homemade. Because of this make sure you are not in a hurry

I cant speak highly enough of this restaurant. Unbelievably delicious, reasonably priced, beautifully decorated and inviting. My favourite place to go in Lethbridge and with food better than the best Ive had in Mexico.

I Tried the Pastor tacos but was quite disappointed, the meat was extremely dry, even adding extra sauce didn t help . Service was pretty good and prices were decent. My wife ordered the Ceviche tostada but ended up with something else, so overall kinda disappointed with the experience.

Authentic Mexican food in the heart of Canada, was amazed at the quality. Lived in California half my life and this restaurant is easily a contender with the places I ve been down south.

Great authentic Mexican restaurant. Inside and some outside seating with Mexican decor and very clean. I saw a fair bit of takeout. The Margaritas were good but a little sweet. They were busy but service wasnt too long. Staff were courteous and friendly. Fish tacos were very good as were the dorados. Prices very good.

This is only 3 stars due to the service. Service was so incredibly slow. Took about 20 minutes just for drinks. Food was really good. However kinda bland in comparison to Cafe Verde. Will probably be back.

Service was super slow and lacked of warmth. We ordered 8 tacos, 2 drinks and a cheese dip (60$ in total) and it took 2 hours in total. The waitresses forgot about us several times and I had to remind them we were there. I sent back the Tres Leches cake because I had lost patience and it looked like a store bought cake with milk poured on top. It didn t have whipped cream and strawberries. Other than that the food was good and very authentic but just a bit bland. I think they put less spices for Canadians and it was overall lacking salt. I really liked that they had lengua and el pastor for the tacos on the menu, the tacos shells tasted delicious. The horchata was yummy and not too sweet. Despite my 3 star review I will still give it another chance because of the authenticity.

It is unfortunate that after 2 visits to this establishment, I cannot give a better review. The first time we went in the summer, we were looking forward to the experience, as we love Mexican food. We were seated and after many minutes, finally were given menus. Very hot inside the restaurant and had to beg for a glass of water. Service was very slow. Had to wave down server to remind about water. Food was good, my husband really enjoyed the fish tacos. However, the portions are not very big. Left feeling very disappointed in the food and the service. Thought we would try again on our date night a month or so later. Were seated near a large table and promptly forgotten about. We realized server was busy with the larger group; however, we were not offered water even, and we were ignored for the next 15 minutes. Even though the server had to walk past us to serve the other group, with no water, no menus, no service, we just left. It is a shame, we were so disappointed with our experiences, we will never return. We try to support local, but much prefer Cafe Verde over Tacos Made in Mexico.

Best Mexican food in Lethbridge.

Like most of the reviews of this place. The service is terrible. Just so so slow. And its over priced for the portions and the non existent service. The food was great except for the fact that the bowl of tortilla soup I ordered stood under the heat lamp for 10 minutes waiting for the rest of the order to be ready and by the time they brought our food out the soup was lukewarm and the tortillas in it were super soggy. Not cool. They also didnt bring utensils out with our order so we had to ask. Didnt help the soggy tortillas in my soup waiting for 5 minutes for them to bring me a spoon to eat it. No one checks on your during your meal and it takes forever til they bring the bill. Anyway good food, bad service. Parking: Nowhere to park Kid-friendliness: Not kid friendly

bad service didnt even get our drink with our food. The food was alright but not like where I called home in Central Mexico.

Not gonna lie this is my favourite place to go! The staff are amazing, super nice and welcoming, the atmosphere of the restaurant is just unique and gorgeous, not to mention the food is absolute bomb!! Also the margaritas are amazing shout-out to Erika for a great one

Wow. I need to take some time to process what I just ate. Incredibly delicious.
