We stopped in for a late meal. They had run out of prime rib so I ordered the Top Sirloin...it was the toughest steak that I have ever had there. The appetizers were great though and so was the service, but all 3 steaks that were ordered were pretty bad

A fine dinning establishment in Lethbridge. My medium steak was cooked to well done, however i gave the kitchen a break as I was with a group of 12. All in all a great place to take that special someone for a night out

The food was great, but only get one side dish with your meal... you dont get the option to have another side even if you pay for it.

Very neat, classy atmosphere. However, service and food can be improved. Steak was too salty. French Onion soup did not have the taste that I was hoping for. Waitresses were kind, but clearly under trained or inexperienced

Top tier restaurant

My husband and I had. A terrific experience our server Lester was amazing . Saturday night and was extra busy with many large groups. Lester was very attentive and made sure our food was hot and very quick he was also serving a group of 12 across from us and still made us feel as though we were his only concern . Lester was professional and friendly . He deserves much praise and a raise food was excellent as usual.

For a city of 100000, I was very impressed with the restaurant as a whole. Everything was as good, if not better, than a big city Keg. The only flaw was that the place was packed and the restaurant had insufficient servers. The service was excellent, but slow. Highly recommend!

Chris was such a great server and bartender. Can not say enough great things about him. Atmosphere gets a 3 star from the other patrons that shared the bar with me, which I will not share the experience with unless asked. Since the managers were seated with them. But! Food was amazing, drinks were delicious. Was an amazing distraction from my mom being kept at the Chinook Health Region hospital for the night, so thank you Chris. You poured amazing drinks and were great conversation!

Premier steakhouse with great beef entrées and delicious sides. Seems to have become awfully expensive, all told close to $80 a head.

I just had a not so great experience I ordered 7 oz Blue Cheese Filet The steak was great- I found the blue cheese topping disgusting.I don t know what was in it but definitely not what I would have expected. The garlic mashed potatoes seemed like they were leftovers from? And the veggies not the class I would have expected from a restaurant of this caliber

We were just in for dinner at The Keg in Lethbridge for my Birthday. I must say the the plates were full, the food delicious and fantastic service. We come here a few times a year but this time was the best. We will be back. Thankyou for the piece of Birthday cake. John & Christine

Went there for my birthday dinner last night and almost everything was phenomenal. The tuna tartare, and the peppercorn strip were amazing.

Me and my partner got food poisoning from salmon I had. I should of know when my first bite was fishy. It was so painful cramps and I called them to let them know.. but i felt like I got interrogated from them, saying it could be something else I ate. We fasted over 24hrs at that point. And he was blaming that prime rib is heavy meal. I sure know the difference between food poisoning diarrhea vs too much fat diarrhea. Ive been on keto and all the different diets. I just didnt like how he handled this situation. Definitely not going back

I come to the keg pretty frequently and always have a great experience. The service was great but the food wasn t so great. I had got a salad and pulled out a long hair from inside so okay no big deal. They give me a new salad, then my main course comes and again another hair. As all 3 of our stakes were not cooked properly. I got blue rare and i understand it has a cool setting but it had almost tasted frozen inside. There was 8 of us and they had put us in the smallest space in the keg. It was disappointing

Edited thank you to The Keg Canada for reaching out and following up. Our information was passed to the manager of the Lethbridge restaurant. The customer service was superb and they went above and beyond. We did give them another try and customer service was excellent. I tried the pork ribs they were good and tender. My husband tried the steak and unfortunately the steak was about the same as the previous visit we had. We both like ours will done and he will eat it slightly pink and where the meat was pink it was tender and on the outside pieces where it was well done it was chewy. The previous conversation with the manager was the sirloin is a less expensive cut off meat and maybe we need to try another cut. Trying another cut would be fabulous if the price was not so high. When you pay $43 for a 12 oz steak I would think it would not be chewy. Perhaps if the keg is wanting everyone to have an amazing steak they need to remove the sirloin from the menu and not offer it or tell the people that the sirloin is not recommended for a well done steak. Original post For the price, the steak could have been more tender. It was dry and chewy. The service was good but the steak was not good enough to return.

It s alright and very expensive. The Prime rib special is mediocre for the price. Do yourself a favor, buy a sous vide for the same price and make your own meats. You can make them soft and way more tender than The Keg. Service was slow as well. Took a good 45 minutes to get 4 dishes out.

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary there on April 15 2024. The service was excellent. Skylar, our waiter was efficient, professional, and very friendly we enjoyed tipping him. The bread and garlic butter, were tasty indeed. The French onion soup was fine, but the baked shrimp absolutely delicious. The hamburger patty was huge, but very very dry and absolutely no smacking-my -lips-for-another-bite tasty. Skylar kept our soada pop glasses filled. The management gave us a boxed complimentary raspberry cheese cake for dessert. That was appreciated and thoughtful of them. But at home when we opened it, only one slice - that was disappointing. We would have paid for two slices. We will return, but this time we will try the chicken - not into steak. Hope it will be much much better than the hamburgers.

Its still got that classy vibe with fantastic service and delicious food. My sister went for the rib steak, while I indulged in the prime rib. We kicked off with the lobster bisque, which was tasty but on the smaller side. Nevertheless, it all made for a wonderful dining experience!

They are all nice and awesome. Kira and Caitlin always take good care about me. It s the best spot to go when you are on your business trip in Lethbridge. I recommend almost everything they have on menu. steaks, chicken, tuna, wines and bone marrow as an appetizer is superb. The service and how nice people are is a gem

After a few times coming to the keg I changed the review to a 4. Main reason the services has improved dramatically and while other restaurants try to match the price of the keg. The picture butte restaurant they don t come close toFood or service of the keg. I highly recommend it for special occasion.

I love going to the keg in Lethbridge! Its clean and welcoming with a very classy romantic kind of ambience. Great atmosphere. Its good food not cheap food, and the price reflects that. If your looking for a bargain this is not your stop. My son is celiac and theres a ton he can eat there. Our server was very conscientious of the allergy at our table so I felt relaxed and knew he was being taken care of properly. We regularly eat here, because its a fantastic experience every time.

Wait time was a little longer then usual but that was due to a hockey team coming in right before us. Waiter was exceptional throughout and food was great.

We visited The Keg Steakhouse this evening for dinner. Ali was our server. Ali was very gracious and delivered excellent service. The Top Sirloin was cooked perfectly and had an outstanding flavor. The Prime Rib was also just as excellent. The garlic mashed potatoes were also great, and the twice-baked potato was very good. The bread was outstanding. Ultimately, Ali really stood out for exceptional service, and then the food was outstanding, as well. I highly recommend The Keg.

Sat at the bar after arriving into town late. Thankfully the kitchen was still open and had a tasty-as-always top sirloin. Ran into some old friends. Had a great time. Forgive me that I cant remember the bartenders name, but she was a pilot during the day, and she was wonderful! Thanks for the great Friday evening keg Lethbridge!

We are regulars at the keg. Tonight was completely different than other times we were there. As always the food was amaizing and you totally get what you pay for. Our waiter Skyler is the reason we keep going back. This man is the best waiter Ive ever seen. Hes funny, extremely knowledgeable, accommodating and does not come to the table every 30 seconds like most people do lol. He knows the perfect time to come and ask if we are doing fine. The engery he carries with him as he works is refreshing. To the management of the Keg you better never let this man slip away. Great job to Skyler and the chefs you guys are incredible. For anyone whos thinking of pampering yourself and going out to a fancy place with amaizing food I strongly suggest this place..

We went after a move for their evening cocktail/happy hour which runs from 9- 12. They have a short list of options on this menu including a couple of wines, a couple of beers and a couple of cocktails you can order for a bit less as well as appetizers like: wings, crispy cauliflower, nachos, prime rib sandwich again for a slightly lower than regular price. We really enjoyed wings and cauliflower appetizers. Our server was lovely, funny and helpful which was appreciated. I wish I d taken a pic of the happy hour menu but I forgot

We went for a special occasion, and it definitely felt special. Our server made us feel like royalty, and the wine suggestions paired perfectly with our food. The food also came in record timing, our meals arrived just as we were finishing the appetizers and dessert was offered/served right as we finished. Oh and the flavour!! Do not decline the complimentary bread, it is AMAZING

Its a bit loud but I have never been to a Keg that wasnt. Excellent service and food was top notch.

I loved my entire experience here. From the moment I walked in, the staff were polite and friendly. The atmosphere was quiet and inviting, and there was ample privacy for our group. I came in for a work dinner. Our servers were bright, efficient, and friendly and took great care of us. And the food was amazing. I know it was just to tide us over until our food came, but the sourdough bread with the garlic and cheese butter was fabulous. I could have been sated on that alone. It was very busy, so I would recommend making a reservation if at all possible.

Ordered steak-myself medium, husband likes well done and they were cooked opposite of what we like so we just switched, no big deal!! Got a teriyaki sirloin, was cooked to medium rare (what I wanted) but was very disappointed with the flavour. Tasted like a flavourless burnt crust with flavourless steak inside. Voiced my concern and was told that how s it s supposed to be and now I know not to order that. Server was nice and attentive other then that. I keep coming back to how flavourless it was. Tasted like a cheap cut of steak that they forgot to put any seasoning on and burnt a crust on it.

Our family recently dined in the private dining room at The Keg. Everything was great from food to our private servers. It was our first time in this room and we enjoyed the privacy and special attention from Tanner & Skyler.

Food was really really good but what made our night a 5 star were Kira Blaze and Tanner. Their service was above and beyond and we will be eating at the bar from now on. Keggers for life!!!

We had a party of 9 for a Father s Day dinner and our server, Adrianna, was amazing! She was prompt and friendly and made sure everything was to our liking throughout the night. I had the bbq pork ribs and they were great but a bit cold and the appetizers were SO yummy. Also my first time eating a crème brûlée and it did not disappoint.

Keg never really disappoints and this one was no exception ! We stayed I lethbridge for a night as part of our road trip and went here for dinner. Five stars always, even though the place was packed on Saturday evening, and we managed to find parking in the back.

I had previously written about a good experience, but that took place after a few bad experiences! I have to say, after tonight, Im convinced theyre back to their old selves 110%! The food was absolutely spectacular, extra credit because we dont typically order everything as the menu specifies, we get specifically what we want! 10/10 will eat here a million times more! Mama in her happy place!

A great place for special occasions, for the most part the food is outstanding. The one exception seems to be the filet mignon (my wifes favorite cut). She orders it medium rare and gets medium to medium well (no pink) every time. We send it back and the next one out is just right. Our crowd all like medium rare and the other cuts are done to perfection .....

We hadn t been to the Keg in quite some time and were really looking forward to celebrating a birthday with friends. Our server was lovely! But overall service was slow for whatever reason. Our food came out with quite a few missing items, or lack thereof. My husband found a bug in his food. We were able to talk to a manager but all that came of that conversation was reasons or excuses as to why it could have happened even though all produce is meticulously cleaned. So for a meal that was between $60-70 it was disappointing to have it ruined by a bug, but still be charged the meal with the exception of the mushrooms being taken off the bill.

Very knowledgeable waitress knew the specials well, food prime rib was cooked perfectly and we celebrated our anniversary so got the billy Miner pie which never disappoints, calamari was slightly overcooked but it was still very good and didnt leave any behind loud inside cause it was busy but easily the 2nd best steak house in Lethbridge in my opinion

What can I say that hasnt already been said by all the other reviews? Its still good, classy, and great service. Food tasted as expected and looked great. My wife got the rib steak and I got the prime rib. I also ordered the lobster bisque as a starter and it was flavorful but a bit on the smaller size so you couldnt make a meal out of just that. All in all, a great dinner and experience.

Honestly, the Keg is good no matter where you go in my experience in Canada. This location is no different. Exceptional food you can count on for consistency, great atmosphere and service was impeccable.

I paid for a ceasar salad but never got it. We felt really rushed. Ordered drinks not alcohol and it seemed that may have disappointed our waiter. The 2 tails lobster was rubbery and my ribs tasted only burnt not much meat. I got lost going to the bathroom and felt terrible that they pointed didn t explain. The atmosphere is great except for the entry. Very dark. We paid $275 for a disappointing meal. It was a birthday for 4 people. The plates are so hot you can t touch it. I get why it s hot but burning hot?!

I enjoyed dining with my girlfriend and parents at the Keg in Lethbridge. We were lucky enough to have Antonette as our server for the evening. From the moment we sat down, she greeted us warmly and took the time to explain the menu items in detail. Her knowledge of the different dishes and ingredients was impressive and helped us make informed choices. Throughout the meal, Antonette was attentive to our needs without being intrusive. She checked on us regularly to make sure everything was to our liking and even made some recommendations for wine pairings that were spot-on. Her professionalism and friendly demeanour added to the overall dining experience. The shows star, however, was the prime rib we ordered. It was cooked to perfection and melted in our mouths with each bite. We couldnt stop raving about how delicious it was! To top off the evening, the manager, Anne, came by our table to check on us and ensure we enjoyed ourselves. Her presence and attention to detail made us feel like valued guests and made the experience all the more special. Overall, it was a fantastic evening with great food, impeccable service, and warm hospitality. We cant wait to return and enjoy Antonettes exceptional service and delicious cuisine again soon.

I love prime rib, especially at The Keg. However, this time I was disappointed in the prime rib. It had more gristle than meat, and the temperature was more medium well. The twice baked potato never disappoints. Fingers crossed the next time I go to the keg, the prime rib will be better.
