Ordered off skip the dishes. This was not fresh. It was really gross sushi. :( do yourself a favour and do not go here/order here .We waisted $80.I actually threw it out it was so bad. I think they put ranch on the sushi roll. 😭
Yesterday, we made a large order with friends for 8 different sets of rolls. We were very disappointed, salmon was unsalted at all, the rolls were not made neatly and the most important NOT TASTY. I will never order anything from this place again!

I've dined there more than ten times, and I have never encountered anyone who told me to use just one piece of paper for all of our orders at once. Someone approached us first and simply told us to use a different coded paper. I believed that each table had an assigned code or number for the pile of paper. That was the only information she provided. So, we returned the paper we were about to use to the designated table, which was also our table since we were using two tables. We picked up new menus from the pile on our table that had just been given to us. The staff mentioned we should use one paper to order but no one specified that we should save paper menu. To help us order more quickly, I lent them my extra ballpen so that we could all write at the same time and place our orders right away. We were writing things down when someone approached us about using one of our sheets of paper. I was surprised because I had never heard of this before, but we managed to compose ourselves, even though we were very hungry. Since we had already written some notes on the paper, my friends continued to use it while I planned to compile or add to my order to use one paper based on what they had written. That was the plan. The server manager approached us with an irritated and rude tone, telling us that we should use only one paper because we were wasting it. Her tone was already making me feel irritated, but I had to stay composed and show my friends that everything would be okay because I could sense that they were feeling irritated as well. To calm the situation, I politely asked the server manager, "Can you please accept these papers first since they were already used?" She responded again with more rudeness and irritation, saying, "No, it doesn't matter; we are not going to make it." I told her that I had eaten here several times and was never informed about this rule. That was when she said, "Now I am telling you." This meant that it was the first time I had learned about this particular policy. If we had known about it, we would never have done it. I have dined in your restaurant many times, and my family and I have always treated your staff with respect and kindness. I understand how hard they work, and I appreciate their efforts. Normally, I don't mention this or boast about it, but I feel it's important to say now. I often give generous tips to compensates for their hard work. Your manager is aware of this; he was the last person to receive a tip from me. I usually give tips separately from the bill because my husband pays the bill, and I take care of the tips. I wanted to mention this to clarify that I have nothing against your staff or your policy about closing 30 minutes before closing time. It is not right that, because we made an honest mistake or did not fully understand your rule, your server treated us rudely. She could have spoken to us politely. If she had listened to us first, we would have been able to understand her better. We would have gladly stayed and followed your rules promptly. It seems that the main reason for their bad behavior is the way you also interact with and respond to your customers. It comes across as if your restaurant is perfect and never makes any mistakes or strays from your policies. I won't question how you handle your store. However, the way you responded to me just now made me feel so right about my decision!😊Goodluck
This used to be my favourite sushi place in Lethbridge, but recently the service has declined. It’s honestly a hit or miss. The food tastes fantastic but the last few times I’ve eaten here, they always forget about one or two items that I’ve ordered and I need to remind them to bring those items. It’s not a lack of patience on my end because it had been 15 mins or longer since all the other items on that order arrived. The rolls have gotten smaller and the salmon sashimi is much smaller and thinner. Also, I just placed an order for delivery and once the food was already on its way, I received a message that they were out of stock for 12 of the rolls that I ordered so I was refunded the money and didn’t receive them. I wish that I had been notified sooner rather than having a large portion of my food missing. Overall, it’s still a good sushi place and I continue to eat here but I’m disappointed with these new changes.
Came for all you can eat. It's was 60 min before closing and they said that we came at last call so we were left with no choice but to order everything all at once..... It's roughly $35 a person and it's all you can eat but if you don't finish something you get charged extra. It's hard to know how much your gonna eat and the experiences wasn't great worried about not ordering enough or ordering too much.... Food was good, service was good too but it could be better.
Makisu is decent food for a decent price. Is it the best sushi in town? No, but if you are taking your teenage daughter that "loves sushi" out for lunch, then the California and Hawaiin rolls are as good here as anywhere else. Plus, you aren't spending as much. The service was friendly, the food came out quick. You just have to keep in mind that this is an all you can eat sushi place so sometimes it is quantity over quality, but isn't that why you came here in the first place? We love going here for the dinner buffet. It is a bit pricey but hey it’s sushi and it’s Delicious!!! They don’t have your typical menu to order from it’s basically a sheet you fill out with what you want.. and the best part is everything is brought to your table as soon as it’s made. So you get to enjoy Hot crispy tempura with the all you can eat benefits.
Decent all you can eat sushi for a reasonable price. The quality of the fish is good but they really pile on the rice. You'll get a HUGE portion designed to fill you up. They take a long time to prepare your food too. Their service isn't friendly so don't expect any bells and whistles. Standouts are the salmon belly and spicy salmon/tuna sushi. The belly is absolutely delicious, melt into the mouth. One of the top spots in Lethbridge? Yes probably. But compared to other cities, this is way below average.

Normally I would say their food is decent. Today I thought I would try something new and instead of just ordering sushi, I ordered their salmon teriyaki. Honestly, it was awful. I ended up throwing most of it in the trash.
I understand the intent to offer more for less, but unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. I would recommend raising the prices to reflect a noticeable improvement in food quality. We tried several items from the regular menu, including specialty rolls, udon, and fried rice. The dishes lacked flavour, the ingredients seemed subpar, and there was an unpleasant smell.
Great sushi place
All you can eat sushi, cant be beat. Is it the worlds best sushi? No. But its solid, and the variety is excellent. A go to spot for me and a few friends back in the day! Vegetarian options: Many vegetarian options available.
Service was so fast! We had our first couple plates within 5 minutes. The servers were very helpful when we asked for kids chopsticks and a fork at different times. I could eat the chicken udon all day! Also the cheese wontons used to be thick and almost bread-like. They changed them and they are now super light and crispy, yum! It s been a long time since we came last, and I was reading a bunch of reviews that weren t so great. I almost went somewhere else but I m glad we didn t. Delish and quick!

Not very fresh...but ok
The last few times I went, the restaurant had a very strong and unpleasant sewage smell. It was really disgusting to have to eat and smell that smell. Staff are not well presentable, do not wear uniforms and wear flip-flops to serve. We are talking about Japanese food, raw fish, if the place does not have basic hygiene, customers run a huge health risk. For me, it was the last time I went there, and I intend not to return.
$30 for great AYCE, its a no brainer! Sushi is too notch here!

I absolutely love this place, the food is always delicious and quick to be made. The area is wonderful to eat in even if its busy as the size/ shape really allows for a nice atmospheric background noise. The food selection is incredible and the food itself is so worth going in and sitting down to slowly eat and catch up. I have only been there a few times and generally love the place, the waitresses are definitely busy people but they have easily messed up quantities or missed ordered items and are also really bad at checking in with the table for beverages and generally can be a little unpleasant to talk to (this one girl had come up with some serious attitude and hastily asked us a question before hardly sticking around for an answer) however 100% worth it for the food and the atmosphere.
I have been going to Makisu for many years and never had and issue but the experience that I had today was horrible. First the servers got our papers mixed up with another table and we were brought food we didnt order. The server came up and admitted she got our papers mixed up. Another server had a spill on the floor, cleaned and mopped it and never put a wet floor sign on it so another server came walking through there fast paced and slipped and almost fell. Thankfully the 2 counters were close together she caught her balance. We ordered calamari and cheese wontons. The batter on the calamari was so hard to bite into and chew. So we had a couple and just couldnt eat anymore as they were hard to chew. The cheese wonton were the same, the tips were hard and crumbs were everywhere so we just ate the part where the cheese was. We litterly left about 6 calamari rings at the table. When we got to the front to pay the guy came up to us and said you didnt eat all the calamari. I was so shocked and had to ask him to repeat himself he said, you left calamari on the table you didnt eat it you will be charged for it. I was like no we didnt like it, it was to hard to chew it was way over cooked. He said also the cheese wontons I said no we ate those, those are the tips that were also so hard and crunchy to chew. He let the cheese Won tons go, but came back to the calamari. He said we been cooking them all morning and no one else has complained. They have been in the same batter all morning, I said it was overcooked, something to do with the fryer not the batter. He said we will let it go this time but next time you will pay. He said this right up front with a group of people waiting, way to make a fool of the restaurant and put us on the spot on front of everyone. Will be trying a different place next time. Miss how it use to be.
This used to be my favorite all you can eat sushi place. The service has always been subpar, the atmosphere was meh, but also chill, but the food was good. Everything seems to get a bit worse each time I go. Ive been here over a dozen times, and I think Im done. The service has gotten worse and the food isnt good anymore. Thanks for the memories, and I wish you luck in your future business.

I ve been going to this place for years now and have always been pleased with food and service. Some days it s good, some days it s meh. But today was one of the more interesting experiences I ve had here. Had lunch with my fiancée here and it s usually a go to for AYCE Sushi as it s cheaper and better for value compared to the other AYCE sushi restaurants i town. We ordered small for the first round. 2 soups, 2 kinds of sushi, a salad for me, Shrimp Tempura and Chicken Teriyaki. Nothing notable but we were enjoying the food. Second round was even smallers with another of shrimp tempura, beef teryaki and 2 strawberry ice creams. The problem here was the Beef Teriyaki. It was grey and sad looking. Seemed like it was just meat left over from the previous night,reheated then squeezed some Teriyaki sauce on top. I ve had their Beef Teriyaki a few times but this has been the worst one. I decided to take a bite but immediately had to spit it out as it was gamey, unseasoned and just plain unpleasant. So I move on to eating ice cream and the server was taking away our plates. I asked her to take the beef teriyaki as well because it wasn t good. She said that she couldn t take it cause there was still a lot and she would have to charge me for it. Pause. You re telling me that you re going to charge me for this because I want to send it back because it isn t good? That doesn t make any sense. But she talked to her colleagues and came back. She told me that she will take it but to be careful next time as other customers order the same beef. I m not sure what she meant but how I interpreted it is that I should be careful ordering items from their menu and I should not order it next time. I can tell the owner/manager/worker was upset because they kept staring at me while I was eating the ice cream. This has left a bad taste in my mouth and I m sad because I really want to enjoy their place but with that experience I m not sure if I can come back.

Been going to this restaurant for more than 6 years. While we were waiting for a table for more than 30 minutes, my mom made a joke to one of the servers if she could help clean some tables (she also works as a server). Obviously she wasn t serious, but they then kicked us out for causing trouble ? There s always been bad service everytime we go, but we just go for the food. This time was just unbelievable!

All you can eat! It was SO good. All the dishes that we picked were very tasty! Service was really good! Highly recommend. We have gone multiple times now and everytime I forget to take pictures because I end up eating it all haha. Go take your family or friends. Your stomach will thank you.

Extremely horrible services. We called in for pick up for a sushi combo the Miso soup and the soft shell crab and made sure to ask details about the soft shell crab. The employee had told us that it s a big size and didn t give us any other options about ordering claiming they only had one type, after picking up the order and getting back in my car I checked the food to see that the soft shell crab was no bigger then the palm of my hand!(I m a 20 year old female) after going back in we asked if this was the right order the lady that helped us just smirked saying yeah it is then saying you should ve ordered by the pound practically laughing at us as her coworkers just stood back and watched. I had mentioned to her that the lady over the phone didn t say anything about ordering by the pound she clearly did not care and said well you can. I then asked for a refund and she said since we left the building she can t offer us a refund no more! It been less then a minute since I left the building and came back in. As leaving all we heard was her laughing but I was with my mother and know not to cause a scene but that was completely horrible service let alone extremely disrespectful. I m sure to say I am NEVER DINNING HERE AGAIN!! And making sure that friends and family know of this experience before deciding to dine in or take out from this resturant! EDIT: (replying back to your reply!) I get your concern and NO I do not need anything back from you guys. If u had been standing right there while I was talking to the lady who helped me at the door then you will see your employee definitely smirked/ smiling, like I was stupid. I ve read into other complaints people have left and how about instead of bashing back at customers who were displeased with their service you educate your employees. Me and my mother were broth there to witness the disrespect we were given as customers. If they lady on the phone had made it clear I would have not even purchased the crab and instead purchased it by the pound if you guys sold it. Whatever your employee told you is beyond me. I made my complaint about her and that s it. But personally I would never have someone with such a disrespectful attitude work in my store, it shows that it s a very poorly run business!

I used to love this place, but it seems that every time I go, its getting worse and worse.
Went for the first time after hearing all the hype but it was very slow and i didn t get the food nearly as fast as i expected. i paid $20 but felt like i got $7 worth of food. i kept asking for meals too and they kept getting my order wrong. I would consider eating here if they sped up the process a little, but i did not enjoy my experience.

Once Alberta health visits there kitchen they will be shut down again. Very rude staff and horrible customer service, food used to be good but ever since new owners toke over it s absolute trash. I bet once you see their kitchen you won t ever eat there. there is a reason why Alberta health shuts them down everyday.
Wow, I have got to say, that nothing I had during the all you can eat was over a 5/10 for me. The food was either salty or bland. Several occurences of forgetting what we ordered or straight up not bringing it, which to be fair, it is super busy for them. However, none of the servers looked happy to be there or cared, doing nothing to further our unfortunately bad dinner, which came to a STUNNING $180 for 5. I unfortunately could not recommend less, the food was awful, atmosphere to match, and servers could not care less. 1/5 avoid and go to O-Shos or other local Japanese cuisine.

The food is great for the price. Its happened a couple times where theyve forgot to bring out some of our orders, so we have to write them down a second time and wait at least 20 more minutes.
Great atmosphere, delicious food! I had the black Dragon roll and my girlfriend had the crispy California roll. Everything was well balanced and the ingredients blended together beautifully.

Unfortunately we had a terrible experience here tonight. Our food was over cooked, the servera were rude and pushy, and there was rotten food left in the menu basket at our table. When we told staff about this they said customers do that, that it isnt a reflection on the staff. In my opinion the table and its contents should be cleaned and reset for each new customer. We had a large group out for dinner and we definitely wont be back.

I used to like this place very much, not anymore. The sushi bar guy was extremely rude to our server for not reason, they refused to give us everything we order and when we asked why? not clear answer was given. I used to work at sushi place like this so I could tell we didn t got the rest of our food because the sushi bar didn t like us! They should teach him some customer service skills. Servers were great as always but I won t be returning due to being discriminated by this guy.

We enjoyed the limitless order for $61 each. Appetizers, salad, beef teriyaki, many small portions of sashimi and rolls and dessert. Really good food and the opportunity for long conversation while sampling so many options!

I had to ask twice for an AYCE menu, and had to ask for chopstick, ginger/wasabi and a soy sauce dish. Service was on the slower side, and had to reorder items several times since they never came out. Food was decent, but nothing amazing.

I ve been to Makisu multiple times and it is my favourite place to go in lethbridge. Great all you can eat sushi with lots of options and the sashimi is amazing. Would highly recommend.
Great food. Went for lunch and everything we had was great. Something we learnt after is you can order the dinner menu at lunch if you want which gives you more options. Will be going back again.

Horrible quality food. Tuna is grey, labeled white tuna as butter fish, bay scallops for scallop sushi(made into gunkan). Old sushi rice smell, overcooked rice, nail size netta over 4times size shari. Huge stomach ache after. I dont know how they seriously survive business. Even tab water was so metallic taste and the best thing was green tea ice cream straight out from manufactures tub. Service was attentive, at least serving time was quick because it is pre rolled sushi with whatever topping goes there on top. Dinner is rip off so stay at lunch price. I am still so mad after I wrote this review makes feel sick again. Will never be back and spread bad word about this place. Gawd get you sshit together.

All time favorite eat all restaurant here in Lethbridge, servers are friendly.Orders are served really quick that s whe we keep on coming back .Food is fine and really worth for the amount you paid.Highly recommended!!I just request that crab legs should be serve again, most of the time when we dine they are not available. The sushi is too small and at a too high price. 2.00-2.10 dollars per sushi? Too expensive. Staff was really was not great was rolling there eyes. And the service was awful. They told us it would be 10 minutes but ended up being 25 minutes. I dont recommend this place.

Always fantastic, I make a point of going here everytime Im in Lethbridge and I am never disappointed, the food is excellent at probably the lowest price I know of to get sushi anywhere, and the staff as very good at their jobs Vegetarian options: My brother and his significant other are both vegetarian and they have zero issues with ordering here Dietary restrictions: They also have a fair amount of allergies between them and also have no problems with it Parking: They sometimes get pretty busy which can make parking a little bothersome but its not a huge issue, and parking always sucks Kid-friendliness: Excellent food assuming your kid likes sushi and if your kid doesnt like sushi you should probably just try again (there are kid friendly options and they seem pretty okay)
A solid bang for you buck with the sushi buffet, fun to experiment to see what you like. But can get a good amount of food, the service was meh, it was our first time trying a sushi buffet and we didn t really know what we were doing and nobody came to help.

Friends and I had the all you can eat and it turned out being pretty awful. Disappointing given that I had heard good things. Even just the look of the sushi (specifically the fish), was quite off putting (I ve never seen salmon be an array of so many different colours on the same roll of sushi). Everything tasted really flavourless and bland. Anything like the gyozas, dumplings, etc. just taste like they re boxed and microwaved from frozen. Service was alright, but numerous items we had ordered never came.

Had our staff holiday dinner here and although the food we received was good we were disappointed in the items that were forgotten when ordered, not once but twice. After several reminders and waiting we were out of time and had to just cancel the rest of food we were waiting for and go to our next activity. 1.5 hours should be enough time for dinner for 4 people. I almost think they forget items on purpose.

Between the three of us there we went threw a whole bottle of soya sauce and must of ate a dozen pounds of sushi or more, was all really good almost fell asleep at the wheel on the drive home. I had Makisu at a 5. Unfortunately, it really has slipped. The servers banging dishes and lousy tuna contributed. I am hoping it improves. The salmon sashimi is generally great and the volcano roll is delicious.

It was my first time here and I really liked it. I ordered from the all-you-can-eat lunch menu. It s a limited menu but enough selection for lunch. The won ton soup was really good and I was pleasantly surprised on how good the salmon belly was. The tempura was OK and the 8 pieces of sushi was good also. I was looking forward on trying their seafood siu mai, but they didn t have any. The staff did come around to clear off the empty plates, but never once asked how the food was or anything else.
Very delicious, fast and very appealing
My daughter recommended we eat here and we really enjoyed the food. I would say the meal was on par with the best Sushi places weve tried in Calgary. This was a very pleasant surprise and I will go back the next time I am in Lethbridge. The Angry Dragon roll was our collective favourite.

Without a doubt the very best Japanese food restaurant in the city! I have gone here many many times and I leave impressed every single time. The food quality is immaculate, the service is fantastic, and the value is excellent. Highly recommend if youre a fan of Japanese cuisine, especially if you like buffet-style meals!

Great Food! And Service. Kid-friendliness: I dont think i should have had to pay $30 for my 11 year old daughter for the all you can eat. She definitely cant eat $30 worth of California Roll!
Went for dinner with friends tonight, understandable that its a long weekend and its busy but it took 30 mins to get a table had to ask 3 times when is a table ready. Food was mehh, unfortunately the ginger and Wasabi was not gluten free. The food used to be more enjoyable. Also saw an employee dispose of a mouse in the parking lot without covering it up verry unappetizing especially after we just ate, almost puked.
I have never in my entire life having sushi/sashimi ever had it warm, I thought I would be sick but thankfully I didnt, I wont go back there for sure.
This was the worst! Rude staff plus rodents made for a terrible evening there. From the beginning our waitstaff acted annoyed that we were there. Dinner was ok but we didn t get everything we ordered. A mouse was stabbed through the bottom of the food prep/sushi rolling area to right beside our table by a broom handle. The staff member finished killing it, picked it up and walked into the back with the carcass. One of our party had just gotten there and couldn t eat anymore of her food because it was RIGHT beside her. There were no apologies issued at all and the manager would not give our table discount. The woman who couldn t eat was given a 20% discount, but only after fighting for it. Unfortunately we will not be going back.
I come here often. Most of the time the sushi is delicious but there are some days where it doesnt seem as fresh

This place is a hidden gem. All you can eat sashimi, what else do you need to know? Super fresh and delicious. I recommend the stir fry veggies, sashimi, and chicken skewers.

This is amazing!! You get all you can eat sushi and bbq that you cook yourself. Its super fun, and the food is beautifully presented. If youre hungry its well worth the $35 per person for the quality of food that you get. This is now one of my favourite restaurants!
I visited Makisu sushi on a Thursday night around 530 pm. I would say that the food quality and service is a hit or miss. I have been many times prior and found this to be the case. My experience this time around was sub-par. Firstly, I was unable to order from the menu for my 4 year old who cannot eat an AYCE amount of food. The rule they have at this restaurant for everyone at the table to eat from same menu is not reasonable. On top of raising their AYCE price to $29.99, which does not reflect the quality of the sushi, I had to pay $14.99 for my 4 yr old which is unheard of for a child under the age of 5. This was after the server told me I could order from the menu, proceeded to order the food for my son, was given a receipt, and then was told they couldnt do it. This restaurant also now charges $3-$4 for babies and infants, age 0-3, who will eat very little or not eat anything at all. The seniors discount was laughable and they got rid of their customer loyalty card. Secondly, the service was delayed and inefficient. This could be due to the lack of staff, however service tends to be consistently slow here. The waiting staff arent very kind or communicative, when items are out of stock or orders are missing. Our table asked for ginger that never arrived, as well as several missing rolls of sushi that we had ordered. Thirdly, I would say the quality of sushi is comparable to mall sushi, likened to express sushi preparation and presentation. The sushi rolls I tried werent very flavourful or creative, the tuna was the worst I have ever had, and any spicy roll simply used a spicy sauce on top. I am sadly disappointed and I would suggest spending your money elsewhere for quality over quantity.

We really enjoyed our lunch here. Very fast service and food was surprisingly good for all you can eat. You can order 1 of everything and try a lot of things! EDIT.. We came back for another meal and had noticed the prices have increased and the portions are a lot smaller. Also, they are not truly all you can eat anymore as you cant order more than what you put on your first page. 2nd Edit Service and food have really gone downhill. We had a bug crawl out of one of the sushi rolls and run around the plate before flying off and the waitress basically called us liars when we told her about it. Definitely our last visit! Ewwww
Lying on thier manu i got in at 2 and it says lunch till 3 they tried to charge me dinner even tho it was 2 when i said no they said last call will be 2:30 !!!!

The service is too slow. Wait about 10 minutes to sit down. Then after one hour , we didn t get all our food yet. The food is ok, but not worth the price.
This place has new owner now, the food quality just went down hill, couldn t get any worse. When we dined in, they were too busy making delivery orders and just didn t care about the dine in customers, there were only four tables seated, but sashimi took over an hour to get on the table, and they looked like leftover pieces from making sushi. Sushi also no good, rolls were big with too much rice, but only a little bit of meat, it felt like we were there for rice not sushi rolls. Along our dining experience, there were flies flying around the table. Like I said in the beginning, this place couldn t get any worse.
Food is good, at least what we actually got was. Always missing items each round of ordering (just an example from tonight - ordered 7 pieces of fried milk to split between 3 of us, only received 2), never told when they are out of a menu item after ordering. Everytime we go this happens. Definitely need a better way of making sure every item a table orders is made and brought out.
Our favorite local sushi place! Absolutely love the food and atmosphere, we always have a nice meal and friendly service. Weve dined in for lunch and dinner, ordered delivery and takeout. The food is always exceptional and the service is wonderful. Thank you! :)
The food is great and delicious
Its hard for me to give stars in this case. Ill just write about the positive and negative sides of our experience at the Makisu. On a positive note, our waitress was excellent: very kind, attentive and efficient. The three of us enjoyed the food too. The negative is that they refused to honor a fidelity card on which I had gathered 9 out of 10 stamps (one used to get a free meal after 10). I understand that they would put an end to the program, but I think they should honor the former cards. I did not feel respected as a customer. That was very disappointing. For that reason, Im not sure I will return.

all you can eat 20$ LUNCH 30$ DINNER Honestly for the price some of the best sushi you can get in alberta. The staff are very diligent and kind, you will never be left waiting. I would recommend to anyone, and so will you after visiting.
I always get buffet cause its fun to try different types of sushi. Lunch is much cheaper than dinner. You get a couple less choices on the lunch menu, but still enough to have a good meal.
One of those don t judge a book by its cover location. Exterior looks quite dated and run down but very surprised to see it packed on a Sunday late afternoon. Prices were quite reasonable for ayce and definitely the ginormous pieces of rice reflects it. Sushi taste fresh, the Inari was very sad - tiny strip of the sweetened bean curd on top of a massive piece of rice. Tempura shrimp were good but a little greasy. Fried scallops were over fried and looked almost like charcoal. Curry beef rice can be skipped as the beef were overdone, flavourless and dry. Curry sauce was fine however. Ice cream were really good. Green tea was very sweet but mango and coconut were absolutely delish. Jello was great too. Service was good. Interior was comfortable and spacious. Washrooms were clean.
Normally the food is fantastic. Staff behaviour/friendliness isn t the best. Showed up 1.5 hours before close and they said they were done for the day and could not seat us, with many tables open. Typically they serve you quick, which made it hard to believe they wouldn t let us order.

I ve always enjoyed their sushi but the last few I ve come in they have been horrible about they re all you can eat policy. The most recent time they tried to tell me that they were going to charge me for two pieces of rice from their sushi. We had eaten the fish but they over do it on the rice. I couldn t believe it, I m really paying for the fish not the rice. I understand paying for rolls or sashimi I don t eat but rice is pushing it. I ve been to many all you can eat places and I ve never see anything like this
You pay the buffet price. And you order fresh. You keep ordering fresh sushi..and as long as you eat it all ( no waste) your bill doesnt get any bigger. I LIVE SUSHI
