Exceptional Pho matched with outstanding service

This was a very nice place with a good atmosphere. Loved the Tom Yum soup! Not too sweet, not too sour, and just the right amount of spice. Great portion sizes, too . My sister loved that they gave her beef on the side, and the quality was great as well! We spent about 22 for the tomyum and 18 for the beef? Im not sure but it was a good price for the food. I wish that they didnt cut my noodles up, but maybe thats how the dish was supposed to be? It was a great overall experience, and well probably come back every now and then if time permits.

Amazing food and great service, the new menu had so much to offer, I had the Tom Yum soup and Pork meat balls and my friend had the Bun Bo Hue for dinner and was more than satisfied, huge portions would definitely recommend I will be back!

Pho 2.5/5- now this is not to shame the pho that I had here. I am a avid pho eater and this is to my taste buds. Pros: The pho tasted okay. Portion was good for the size. Basil and bean spout was fresh. Good meat portion also. The noodles are cooked nicely and not over done. Good gold color to the pho, does not have floating impurity. Cons: The beef had that gamey new cut smell too it. The broth has more potential, it has good base taste but does not linger when eating with the noodles. Definitely missing fish sauce and mushroom bouillon. 19 dollars for pho is steep. *Overall the pho is okay. Cheese wonton: 5/5 Good choice of cheese and sauce. Would recommend.

A wonderful little place tucked away on 13 St. I discovered it by chance about 6 months ago. Ive been addicted ever since. Always fresh and tasty. The staff is friendly and attentive. Every time I go in there I hear other customers complimenting them on their meal. Definitley give this place a try.

Panang curry is very delicious. I recommend every one should try it. The restaurant is very clean. Server is greeting us with a big smile and explaining all the questions. We are a group of 5, each tried different dishes, Spicy Hue Style Beef is one of the best dishes. We will be back to this place anytime soon.

Dont believe the other reviews saying they have big portions, they do not. Got the Pho and Pork vermicelli bowl, and could literally hear the microwave open and close, why would you need to use a microwave? The pho broth tastes off, and the pork vermicelli had lots of sketchy fatty pieces. To top it all off I had to hear the server having a coughing spell and she never even went and washed her hands after just kept on serving.

Amazing portions and great pho! My wife and I came here to try their pho and we were far from disappointed. The pho reminded us of our trip to Vietnam in the past. Very rich and flavourful and amazing costumer service. They treated us like we re family (in a good way) and made us feel at home. Definitely coming back!!!

The food and service here are absolutely a delight. I am constantly on the look out for good Vietnamese food, and Pauls Kitchen is an absolute gem of an example! The service was also incredibly friendly, and I learned of a few new places to try in Calgary!

I had a yellow curry soup and it was delicious. Had to add meat cause it didnt come with any which I found odd. Salad rolls were great. Nothing fancy inside but thats ok. New in town, about 1 year. Wish them best.

We will now have to make it our business to pass by Lethbridge to come back and dine here. The food and service here is great. The staff made sure we had enough extra bowls and plates as we were dividing food amongst our little ones. We saw photos of the pad thai, which looked so good that we had to try it. Just had takeout from this place for the first time and it is very good. I got their Thai satay and it is spicy and delicious, my girlfriend got the rare beef phô and said it was fantastic, the only complaint is that the spring rolls are pretty basic, but still fine. Everything else was top notch, considering Lethbridge doesnt have a true Thai restaurant, this is the place to go if youre craving Thai food.

This is probably the only place Ill order from now. Im from Calgary where there are tons of amazing Pho restaurants. Ive been in Lethbridge for 5 yrs & have not found anywhere decent. Excellent broth, I love that they actually give you your beef raw & basil that nowhere else has. Id give 10 stars if I could! Really thrilled to find this place.

The salad rolls were good. I ordered a cashew chicken that had amazing flavor and was delicious. The vermicelli was good but I found that there were so many noodles by the end I was just eating noodles and fish sauce so I left 30% of it. I would recommend it.

Okay so I made a post asking where the best pho is in lethbridge, I have been on the hunt since I had the best pho in Calgary from a mom and pop shop. About 95% of the recommendations where for Pauls Kitchen. I decided to go here for lunch today and the wall of aroma that slaps you in the face when you walk in is amazing! It smelled SO GOOD in there. I got the B4 pho and OH MY GOD, the broth was SOO GOOD, clear and clean but soooo flavorful! The meat was sooo tender and delicious. This is the closest pho I have found since Calgary 6 years ago... I will be going back ever week now because you know Ill be dreaming of the PHO!

My husband and I were passing through town on the way to SK from Waterton, glad we picked this restaurant to have our late lunch! We had thai beef satay, mango salad and pho, all tasted great and big servings! Was too hungry to take photos before we ate, so here s a photo of the aftermath.

So we figured we would try this place... I gotta tell you. We were so unbelievably. Happy the girls who work there are fantastic. The food is incredible and you better bring an appetite. Because you are gonna be full portions, are huge... My girlfriend had never tried Pho. Before and Ill tell you. Well be going back again again again and again

I have been looking for a good place for a good bowl of pho for some since moving from Edmonton. I need look no further. Still no tripe but after a few wonderful conversations with our server I understand now the dilemma that Vietnamese restaurants have when trying to acquire quality tripe. And I was satisfied with the explanation. None the less I am hooked on Pauls Kitchen.

We got there an hr before closing and I guess they have been busy all day as they were out of rice, salad rolls and basil lol. So we just all ordered the house special pho and thai curry soup with noodles. The pho broth was pretty bland. And the curry soup was luke warm but tasted great. The waitress was super friendly. Forgot to take any pics as we were all too hungry and just dove right in. Lol

Very.... slow service, they had maybe 3 tables not even full and it still took over 20 minutes to bring my meal. People also came in after me and they waited max 5 minutes and their meal came before mine. I will never go back here, I had to take it to go due to having a short window to eat lunch and get back to work. I feel the young girl working only entered my meal in the system after the table that came in after me. The food was decent but not enough to wait that long. Usually I go to Spring rolls and the food is quick, tastes great and they are cheaper. Thats where I will be next time.

Dined at Paul s today for the first time. We are Vegetarians and it s not always easy to find menu items that suit our diet. We ordered the Cashew Deluxe with tofu and it was outstanding!! The tofu was crispy and delicious, the cashews & veggies cooked to perfection. The salad rolls were fresh and wonderful and the peanut sauce the very best we ve had!! Many items on the menu can be customized to accommodate a vegetarian diet. Paul and his sweet daughter were both so nice, the restaurant immaculately clean and inviting! Prices are very reasonable! After fourteen years in Vancouver I have pretty high expectations for what is good Vietnamese or Thai, by Canadian standards at least. Paul s knocked it out of the ballpark! Spring rolls were fresh and delicious, Thai curry was just spicy enough to be painful but still punching flavour, and the Pho broth is delicious with hefty toppings. Portion sizes are very fair for the prices, and the service was extremely friendly. I ll be back, with friends, excellent!

This place is incredible, first of all we must highlight the cleanliness that is an important part of consuming food and is exceptional, I have visited many Vietnamese restaurants throughout Canada and without a doubt this is the best I have eaten in, do not lose the opportunity to eat here

Great new place to dine. Food was nice, hot and flavourful. We got our spring rolls for free as they came late in the order. That is quality service if I dont say so myself. We will be back again with family to try the other items on the menu.

We were patrons of the previous restraunt and are sooo delighted we gave Pauls a try. Absolutely the best Bun in town. Tried it twice now. Highly unique flavor combinations. Cant wait to try other things on the menu. Theresa is absolutely wonderful! Ive dubbed her Button as in Cute as a button ;) She really made the experience even richer!

Nice and very clean new restaurant! I had the Thai Curry soup level one for spice. It s the best soup I ve ever had. The flavour was so good. The daughter was such a sweet heart. Mom was a genuine kind lady. I would highly recommend this new gem. Give em a try!

Ive been looking for a good pho place In Lethbridge for years. I think I finally found it after eating here. In my opinion, this is the only authentic pho place we have here. Youd have to drive 2 hours to Calgary to get a soup that can compete with what Pauls kitchen serves. The staff were super kind and attentive, Ill definitely be eating here a lot.

I d consider myself a fairly strong connoisseur on authentic culinary styles of all sorts and let me just say the Phô here is a proper as it gets. They just opened but you can already tell through the food and service that these fine folks put their soul into delivering a solid Viet-Thai food experience. I ve been fed like family and that alone puts this place in the top for my personal favorite eateries. Good authentic food, quality service and two excellent iced coffee makers make the trip from out of town worth it, every time. Thank you Paul s Kitchen.

We checked out Pauls Kitchen for the first time. We ordered the chicken and shrimp Pad Thai as well as Pauls Signature Fried Rice. All the dishes were excellent! Large portions and great service! Our plates did come out a few minutes apart, but thats to be expected in a small one cook kitchen. Not an issue since all the meals were served hot. Definitely check out this hidden little gem!
