Ive had this twice, twice the same mistakes, the fries are not cooked at all. No flavor. Little tip: blanch your fries for a crispier potato! And lets not talk about the stove, stupid as it is 2 feet.

This is our third visit to Méliann and we are still very satisfied with the food. Really good canteen fries, excellent poutine and decadent burgers.

Fantastic! Amazing club sandwich! I suspect the tomatoes came from a backyard garden near their home! The salad is in all its forms, at its best. There is real good bacon, just cooked enough. The bread is perfectly toasted and the slices buttered/greased with good mayo just the way we like them. The chicken is top quality, tender,...! Otherwise, the fries, wowwww! The most enjoyable and profitable 20$ all-inclusive Club in town! I saw poutine pass before my eyes and it looked delicious. Finally, I add that I have, in the past, tasted the interburger and I swear to you that it is fkninsane yeah!

As soon as I arrived, the co-owner informed me of the deadline to serve me. The staff is in training and in a while, they will gain speed... although it is impossible to go faster than the time it takes to cook the ingredients! I could have had a bite to eat there but I had already eaten. I stopped there for a sweet dessert. I recommend the place. The ice cream is delicious. Tables/chairs are available outside as well as parking.

They passed me their old potatoes and all the leftover bits of not-so-great potatoes he had. One of the worst poutines Ive ever eaten, its really disappointing, Ill never go back.

Very long service (15 minutes at least, no line-up) Dehydrated potatoes, undercooked. In short, old potatoes or very poorly prepared. But have enough sauce, just 3/4 covered. We asked if it was possible to restore the situation hi la la You have to pay extra for that! You cant put more than 4 oz on a large poutine, 1/2 cup of brown gravy?? If at least it was possible to spread it properly... its as if: we can just add a cup of butter, so we only buttered 3/4. Oh yes... you wouldnt guess that when you order poutine, there wont be enough sauce... There is a beautiful poster that says no disrespect will be tolerated too bad that happened to us from the staff. I look at the comment and the photo from the previous comment... thats definitely not the experience we had tonight. The extra cheese portion was very generous. To give a positive point. We will not return there. Parking: The street corner where the snack bar is located is not convenient. Its not the restaurants fault though.

We chose this snack because of its good Google reviews... Our experience is far from worth more than one star. A clerk who sees us without greeting us, waiting more than 5 minutes before first contact. There was no one in line in front of us. The price of poutines is very affordable. But after tasting dry fried potatoes that taste like very old oil, we would like to pay more to at least make sure it tastes good. Also note that the poutine that was served to us lacked sauce on at least 1/3 of the portion. When my friend politely went to ask for extra sauce, we were asked to pay for extra sauce... We had to prove the sauce distribution error by bringing the poutine back to the counter! Wow. Not to mention the attitude of the cook: never admitting a potential error, pouring a bit of extra sauce while explaining the definition of extra sauce, making us feel as if we wanted to steal sauce... Again, wow. If you want to waste an affordable amount, throw away a third of a poutine that falls on your heart and experience very poor customer service despite your courtesy and politeness, this snack bar is an ideal place!

Nous étions en route pour aller se chercher une frite take-out dans un autre restaurant sur Kennedy quand j ai décidé d arrêter au Meliann puisque je passais souvent devant. Très déçues toutes les deux (moi et ma mère) de notre petite frite qui nous a coûté 7$ L huile ne semblait pas fraîche, la texture des frites était douteuse.. Bref, nous l aurons essayé comme on dit !

I thought that we only found good poutine on the North Shore of Quebec but clearly, I am surprised by the quality. Good amount of cheese and the sauce is tasty. Nothing to say for the price/quantity, courteous staff. Several tables available outside. Its now rare that I make comments but the snack is worth the detour. Parking: Very small, we are talking about parking for 8 vehicles, and poorly located. Several alternatives around that you can use for parking. Kid-friendliness: Affordable childrens menu.

Small snack near the Lévis/Québec ferry. We didnt know about this place and decided to stop and try it. Pleasantly surprised by the excellent poutine and the warm welcome from the on-site staff. We will go back there for sure! There were 5 of us and it cost $58 (Food and drinks for all) which is very reasonable considering that my children eat adult quantities.

September 9 in the afternoon (2 p.m.). The hamburger and the roll very good. But the fries were terrible, they seemed to have been cooked more than once, I threw away my fries, the poutine, same thing but with the sauce and cheese it was passable. The restaurant would be wise to throw away the already cooked fries after the lunch rush. Next time Ill taste it before leaving the snack,

Very slow service. Almost non-existent Covid measures. The tables are not washed. The poutine is bathed in sauce, the container is dripping. The sauce is liquid, the drinks are hot. The kitchen is very dirty! Finished for us!

I am very disappointed and I would not go back.... I ordered hot dogs and the sausage smelled like rotten meat, I took a bite and BERK my doubts were confirmed disgusting I bet the meat had been out for hours.....its valuable because I was a loyal customer...they lost me

I ordered a mont blanc/float (slush and ice cream) with lime. In my glass there was barely any ice cream and the slush was at the bottom and not mixed. I commented that there was no flavor and it only tasted like ice cream and she replied that the flavor had probably been on the ice cream so wasnt mixing. I never got an offer to make it again or anything so I had 2 bites of ice cream in a glass of ice cream that tasted nothing. Disappointing just like the employees absent smile.

After an interminable wait even though there was no crowd, I was treated to the special 12 fries, meaning medium fries for $4.90. Not edible, rubber in bag. Where are you Cherub?

I witnessed an unfortunate situation this evening. The lady at the counter didnt want to serve a large and a medium soft cream dipped in chocolate because its too heavy. The old man must have only taken a small one. Furthermore, she showed a great lack of courtesy and respect towards this man. She was mean. And Im not talking about how stupid she was to us afterwards.

Frankly ! ! The owner is so stupid that she cant! The customers in front of me were taken away solidly because they questioned the half portion of sundae that they received at an exorbitant price. She told them that she was disgusted by people who come just to complain! Hello? If its a problem, maybe theres a problem! ? Afterwards she was angry with her temper tantrum on my turn so I was very poorly received. In addition to being derogatory towards me because I asked her what kinds of slush are, I received slush puppies in unofficial glasses smaller than normal, the mixture was not homogeneous and that bothered me. cost $15 for 3 medium and 1 small! She asked me for an extra tip!! Fair amount? Hey for 4 mediums of real slush puppie its $8 at ultramar! Spread the word! Beast and crosser! To screw up the world and make penny-pinching savings on the backs of customers, there will be no one left!

The portions are not very light

The only positive point of the restaurant is its position, the food is not good except the fries which are soft. I wouldnt go back there.
