First of all, I would like to point out that I really like the food at Shaker and that this was not my first experience at Shaker Lévis. However, my family and I had a very bad experience this evening. We reserved a table for 8 people about a week and a half before the party for my sister and I. We also received a text message to confirm the time and the number of people (8). When we arrive there, the hostess directs us to our table, a table of 6 people. She then tells us that the 7th person can sit at the end. I confirm to him that there are 8 of us, as planned in the reservation. She then proceeds to tell me in an arrogant tone that this is false, that the system indicated a reservation for only 7 people, so that we can add chairs and squeeze each other. However, since it was a high table and high chairs, we were not able to squeeze 8 people onto a 6 person table. The hostess then told us that that was always how it worked, and that our reservation indicated 7 people, so there was nothing she could do. So I showed her the reservation confirmation text on my phone indicating a reservation for 8 people, and she looked up and said it wasnt important since that wasnt what was written to the system. She finally then went to check the computer again, and as we were sitting directly next to the computer, we could see that the reservation in our name was indeed for 8 people, which she definitely saw double checking as well . However, she came back to see us, without admitting her mistake, and she told us that we could exceptionally (with a lot of annoyance and arrogance) pair a table of two with our tables to allow us to sit all 8 , but that we could not have the extra table throughout our supper. She also then added that since our reservation was at 5:00 p.m. and we arrived at 4:35 p.m. (the restaurant was completely empty, there were 2-3 tables occupied), that we should vacate the table at 6:30 p.m., not at 7 p.m. as planned. So we agreed, but we were very shocked by the attitude presented to us, which set an unpleasant tone for a party evening. For the service itself, our waitress Alexandra was excellent: she was very kind, helpful and courteous. We ate well, despite the longer service times, but we were understanding since it was a Saturday evening and it is normal to have a longer wait for a 3-course dinner for a group on the weekend. We finally received our bills at 6:50 p.m. and paid at 6:55 p.m. At 6:59 p.m., the hostess from the beginning of the evening came back to see us and told us that she had already given us an extra 30 minutes that we should not have had and that now we were going to have to leave since a group was waiting. after our table. His lack of professionalism, respect, courtesy and his deplorable attitude towards customers really bothered us. Besides, we must remember that we did not really benefit from an extra 30 minutes , because 1. We received our main meal at 6:15pm after ordering at 5:30pm, and our bills at 6:50pm, so how could we have left early? 2. Our reservation for over a week was from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., so customers who were waiting after us at 6:59 p.m. could not have been booked for 6:30 p.m. Honestly, we are happy with the quality of the food and service from our waitress, but we are very disappointed with the lack of professionalism and respect from the hostess, who made us feel like we were in the wrong before and after our meal.

Its a place I like for the diversity of the food, the pleasant atmosphere and the choice of drinks. The staff is courteous and the service is also fast. So we can go there just as much for a dinner even if we only have an hour available. Parking: No parking problem, several spaces available being annexed to a small center where there are several businesses.

There were three of us, we waited two hours before having the food on the table... Im not even exaggerating, two hours... the tables around us were empty by the time we received our meal. The person in front of me, at the same table, couldnt even hear me speak because there was so much noise and people were talking loudly. This was the first and last time I went to this establishment. For the price the food costs, it was clearly not worth the wait and the trip...

As always the food was excellent, the dumplings are a nice addition to the menu, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, the ultimate cheezzze is tasty and the cocktails need no comment, they are sublime. Despite the influx of customers, the service was fast and Jade the waitress was professional and friendly. As usual, an unforgettable experience.

We waited 1 hour before getting our starters and 1 hour 20 minutes for the main meals. Were talking about 2 poutine, 1 hamburger and 1 tartare. When we asked the waitress what was going on she told us that it was normal because we ordered starters. Other branches offer better services.

My favorite place!

The service is extremely slow. We waited for a burger for 1 hour. The tartare is warm but not cold. The people ordered after us get the food half an hour before us. I m visiting and want to try the food. But because I don t speak French, the server just did not speak to me.

Wish i took pictures! We liked this restaurant so much the first time we decided to go back again the next day! I had the steak tartare which to be honest wasnt what i was expecting but it was soooo good. The next day i tried to the Crispy Chicken sandwich and it was thick and juicy! I had a Dracula drink (they are a mixology restaurant) and I should have gotten the bigger one because it was absolutely delicious!!! The staff were really accomodating and friendly the first night and made our meal and enjoyable experience but not so much the next day. Different server and she didnt seem to want to be there. Overall we would not hesitate to return. Our only issue was the $4 for a can of soda and for 2 of us to eat without alcohol was still $70. Chicken sandwich and a half rack of ribs...

I went to eat an Asian beef tartare this evening, April 19, 2024! I took a seat at the bar. The Bartender (Gabriel) was super friendly and made sure I didnt miss anything. The food was delicious! Impeccable service from (titouan) A review that deserves its 5 Stars!

Group of 10 people. The restaurant was not very busy. Order error one after another. No service for cocktails throughout the evening. Our first glass remains empty. Absolutely no one came to see us. No dessert menu offered. We no longer had a waitress in the middle of the evening. We had to ask the employees several times for a response (addition, order error or even missing order for a member of the group). For us its over! A sincere apology was made by a staff member. But thats not enough!

Tonight is my second visit to this restaurant, I was served twice by a barmaid who not only does an outstanding job but always has a smile on her face. She ensures that customers lack nothing. Her name is Meggie. Employees like Meggie deserve recognition for their exemplary work. I travel constantly for work and this restaurant remains among my top ones since meeting her. It was an excellent and awesomely memorable evening with my friend. Though it was a full house, but we were able to get a pleasant table after a 3minutes wait. Our experience lived up to our expectations! The portions are very generous so this is something to take into consideration. Very commercial and our waitress was very friendly.
