My friend and I visited this restaurant for breakfast today and as we walked through the door, the manager was yelling at our server Erin and treating her poorly. Even after we had been there for a bit there was more yelling. Erin was an amazing server despite being disrespected by her boss and was a pleasure to talk to. Five stars for Erin, zero stars for the scary man yelling at her. Also five stars for Cooper (I think thats his name) the food was really good too.

Nicky is the star of the place, she has very good service and is always friendly, I really enjoy that place.

The food was great and served in a timily manner. The restaurant and washrooms were very clean. My server Nicky was very kind and made sure that I had everything I needed. I truly enjoyed my breakfast.

So my mom and I gave eggsmart another shot since other people were running it and I have to say weve been back twice now! The first visit I had a chicken sammy with a jalapeno cream cheese that was incredible. Mum had dippy eggs with rye toast. The first time our server was Erin and she was great! Ill say my moms toast for her eggs came out kind of burnt but they were very accommodating in bringing her some fresh slices. The 2nd time we had Nicky as our server. We sang many songs, playing over their radio. Shes a blast!! Again food was awesome. I had a BLT on sourdough and it was delicious. Ypu could really taste the smoke in their bacon. Mum had scrambled this time and everything was good. I recommend giving them another try.

To the management of this place: you have a gold employee who rides Devinci bike. He was so grateful to offer the help on my bikes flat tire right in front of the restaurant. Although I tried to fix by myself, eventually I asked for his help to locate LBS. Man, you are the MVP, and your yellow Devinci is awesome! Didnt have a chance to try a meal, it was after hours...

Everything was great until I paid my bill with cash. The waitress assumed that when I gave her $40 for a $35 breakfast she could keep the $5 as her tip ! She didnt ask if I wanted change back. Yes, the $5 was hers but she just assumed; didnt ask or say thank you. Not a nice way to finish a meal. Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible (parking, washrooms, tables) except no button for automatic door opener but staff are attentive and will gladly hold the door for customers.

Its kinda funny, you pass a franchise type place like this and dont often think much of it or just expect the Dennys experience but when we came in the owner was squeezing fresh orange juice. Didnt see that coming. The food was also excellent, with choices on the menu I also certainly did not expect to see and the service was top notch. Very pleasantly surprised and will definitely be back.

This is my first time in Lindsay and this location. I found the staff very kind, professional and approachable. Adrian and Cassie are so kind that makes you to come back. I do recommend this place.

Spent $52 on two eggs Benedict that I went to pick up myself for takeout. The portions were very small for the outrageous price. This chain has gone very far down hill. This will be the last time visiting Eggsmart.

The food is amazing! I had the veggie omelette and they didn t scrimp on the veggies. Every mouthful was delicious and I enjoyed every bite. My husband had the eggs Benedict which he usually finishes but not this morning! The portions are impressive! This was our first time at this location and it didn t disappoint. We enjoyed a tasty breakfast - Mediterranean omelette and Santorini scramble. Attentive and friendly service by Feronica. I didnt know how to score the atmosphere because it is a diner style place, not a fancy restaurant. Everything appeared very clean . We will go back!

We had a great breakfast at Eggsmart in Lindsay this morning. Service was great! So friendly and efficient. Love that she brought us a carafe of water with ice in our glasses. We let her know we were short on time and she had us served and cashed out within 20 minutes of coming in the door. Food was tasty and lovely presentation. Coffee was good! And the place looks great - clean, bright, spacious with very comfortable seating. Great experience. This has earned a place in our regular rotation. Thanks so much!

Breakfast was delicious! I ordered the Avacado Eggs Benedict. The home fries were crispy and tasty, the fruit was perfectly ripe, and the Avacado Benedict was so good! Our server, Nicky, was excellent. Friendly and knowledgeable and she set such a good tone for the whole restaurant. I will definitely be visiting again.

When I moved to Lindsay 5 years ago I tried this place and was very disappointed. HOWEVER, it s now under new management and it is easily my favourite breakfast place in town. Prices comparable to a great breakfast place. And amazing service. Very glad we gave this place another shot because they knocked it out of the park. Kid-friendliness: Great kid options and kids can even eat free!

For the price, the food and the atmosphere were 5 stars. Our server was amazing: she answered questions honestly, she engaged in conversation with our small kids (and actually waited for them answer), and was appropriately attentive to our needs. This place is under new ownership and it s clear that they re working hard.

Dietary restrictions: Wife is gluten free and so was her toast! New owners have done wonders breakfast WITH coffee $9 weekdays. Cant beat it. Food

My son and I were in the Egg smart restaurant yesterday (May 18th) and the food was amazing! I had the eggs Benedict and whatever the chef put in the sauce was delicious! The waitress was lovely and very attentive to us. I just loved being there. I met the chef on our way out the door and he asked me how everything was and I said BEAUTIFUL!! I give this restaurant a 5+ star along with the food and service. Stop in and see for yourself. You will be pleasantly pleased for sure!

We follow a low carb lifestyle, and loved the Keto Scrambler here. Plenty of delicious things including avocado, nuts, and fruits to accompany a wonderful scramble of bacon, spinach, cheese, onions and peppers. Delish. And the service was first rate. Excellent breakfast place! We drove all the way from Peterborough to eat here! Worth the drive!

Last week we went for breakfast and Brianca and Nicky were amazing. Very friendly and customer service oriented. Highly recommend.

I have eaten at the Lindsay Eggsmart numerous times since January 2024 and have had delicious food, wonderful friendly service each time. Even when I forgot to ask for a change to my order and it came as listed on the menu, Nicky and the cook were so pleasant and accommodating. It was my error and they both did what they could to make it right. I have and will continue recommend this location for good food and professional, efficient service.

Went for brunch today, figured it wouldnt hurt to give the new management a chance. Well let me tell you they delivered! Food was amazing and the service was just as good. There was only one waitress on (sorry cant remember her name) but if she was busy with a table, the gentleman in the kitchen who I can only assume was a manager did not hesitate to come out and help her. He greeted customer and helped get the food to the tables. Will definitely be returning to enjoy more meals in the future! If the old management let you down give the new management a try, youll be thankful you did.

This was the first time Id been in EggSmart in a long time. Id read recent reviews but wanted to see for myself and it was a wonderful experience. The restaurant was spotless, the staff was welcoming, the food was delicious and reasonably priced. I will certainly be back.

Lovely breakfast. Our server Nicky was very pleasant and accommodating. When I noticed the fruit cup on my plate had kiwi in it (which Im anaphylactic to) she promptly removed it and offered me a replacement. The Keto Breakfast (Im not Keto but it looked good) was delicious and filling.

Its under new management and it really shows. First of all, the place was spotless. All the staff were friendly and efficient. As far as the food is concerned, you really get your moneys worth. The food was fresh, tasty and the portions were more than satisfying. Figured we give Eggsmart another try under new management. The food was great, fruit was super fresh! All round much improved! The entire place smelled of cigarette smoke though.... Im assuming they let their cooks smoke right outside the door which fills the restaurant. Put a stop to that and Ill be back.

Uncomfortable experience, to say the least. I was having breakfast here with a friend when we over heard the manager (or owner?) Yelling incredibly loudly at one of the wait staff, it was aggressive and the girl looked incredibly embarrassed... I felt awful, will not be returning.

Best burger Ive had in lindsay and reasonably priced, easily the best fries Ive had in town aswell. Service is amazing and its a quiet place aswell so you can hear yourself think and have good conversations. Highly recommend eating at egg smart!!!

We stopped in for brunch today. My wife ordered eggs benedict, and it was excellent. I ordered a meat lovers omelette, and it didn t disappoint. The omelette is made with 4 count em 4 eggs, generous portions of meat and excellent quality throughout. I took half of it home with me. We felt the prices were very fair given the very generous portion sizes. Service was above and beyond, we cannot say enough about the staff, even the manager stopped by and chatted with us. We will happily stop in again when in Lindsay. We highly recommend the Eggsmart location.

Classic Comfort, Fresh Vibes! I went back to Eggsmart under new management, and Im happy to report that the beloved menu is still there, full of tasty classics. The place has a fresh vibe, with the same cozy feel. The staff is welcoming, and its a solid 5-star spot for breakfast lovers. Changes done right while keeping the comforting essence intact definitely worth a revisit visit!

Amazing breakfast, Thank you for making my omelette as requested, grilled tomatoes with Real cheddar cheese, perfect! All 6 of us loved the food and will definitely drop by again in March.

NEW MANAGEMENT IS GREAT!! Passed through the area recently and I was hesitant at first. We ve been here a couple times before while visiting friends in the summer and gave up on the place it got worse. Huge difference! The portions are back to a healthy size and cooked just as I requested. Server was attentive and prompt and the place was CLEAN. I don t normally write reviews but I felt this manager deserves it. This joint is da bees knees! Arpita the waiter done got us righter than 90 degree angle! He notice the Ketchup not coming out the bottle . He got me another ketchup bottle, I ll be darned! Bathrooms clean too, the soap dispenser didn t fit on the sink too well but what can you do really? Arpita deserves a raise, he makes the face of egg smart look particularly smarter!

Sadly Eggsmart did not reach our expectations today

This was my first sit down date ever and it was ruined. I had an awkward interaction with the server who didnt look at me when he was asking me questions but rather at the person I was with. Server made me uncomfortable. The food was rolled out rather than walked and it came within 10min of ordering. When we got our food he asked us how it was- as in he set the plates down and asked. I said it was fine because I hadnt even tried any. He came back and I was distracted with my date that I only had tried my eggs and toast so I said it was fine. After 15min since we got the food it was very cold, and the protein was very bland. When another server checked on us, we asked for the bill. I had only eaten 1 bacon strip, 1/3 of my eggs and a bite of my toast and my date had eaten a similar amount. Our first server and the other came back, with the debit machine. I checked on you twice you said it was fine, you should have asked for me specifically he told me. I stood up for myself and explained how quickly he asked the first time and when I was in the middle of talking the second. My date paid FULL PRICE for a terrible meal we barley touched and even terrible service. The server was unprofessional and rude, he made the atmosphere tense quickly. I dont reccomend this place whatsoever, bother we took our date elsewhere.

Food was decent, though not special. Potatoes were very disappointing. State of the ketchup bottles was appalling (seriously - wash them now and then). Coffee felt like it came out of a vending machine. Service was scatterbrained, and it took multiple attempts to get everything we asked for. Witnessed the same problems occurring at a neighbouring table.

Greasy food and extremely poor service. Ill never go back. Waited for 15 mins before we raised our hands to get service. Omelette came with old grease that has been cooking on the griddle.

Eggsmart is a great place for breakfast! They have a wide variety of delicious breakfast options to choose from. I highly recommend trying their Eggs Benedict!

My food was not fully cooked, there were hairs in everyone s meals. Plus the servers did not speak English, so I was unable to get a cup of tea! The whole experience we awful and I should have just walked out!

Absolutely awful!!! Waited so long for our order to be taken then another hour and a half for our breakfast. Watched at least 8-10 other tables leave after being seated and then forgotten, as I wish we had. Had two very hangry kids. Each time we asked how much longer was always two minutes because he knew we wanted to walk. Probably the worst restaurant experience I ve had. This was also on Fathers Day to boot!

Great place for breakfast, kids absolutely loved it. Not a single complaint and their waffles or eggs benedict are amazing!

I wouldn t recommend this breakfast restaurant. To start with our server looked like he just came from a homeless shelter. Ordered four breakfast plates and all four came with errors including serving my three year old daughter half raw eggs. When I mentioned raw eggs to our server, he laughed as he took them away. We send all four plates back and another server came over to verify our original order. Ten minutes later the whole order comes out for a second time and all wrong again so we walked out. Breakfast is the staple of the restaurant industry and the place wasn t busy (three tables). Considering the price of eating out and this place specializing in breakfast, expectations didn t even come close to being met. Luckily Neighbors is just down the street and reminded us of why they re our usual breakfast choice.

Raju was an incredible server, took his time to understand his customers and was very attentive to our request, he made it a very enjoyable experience, would definitely recommend !

I went in for a big breakfast and I wasnt let down. Food was cooked perfectly and it was tasty. Service was decent and the restaurant was clean and modern. Only issue was the price was high. But what isnt anymore... I left full which is nice. I would recommend and Id go back. I went back recently and the food has went way down from what it was in the pics. Garbage and expensive. The servers are new to Canada and it was bad.

Atmosphere is always good here staff are always polite and double check what you say however how the kitchen works at times is subpar at best and I m very disappointed I ordered an omelette for myself and none of the ingredients were even mixed in the egg properly at all and all my food was super SUPER watery like actual puddles of water in my omelette and they failed to add my side of toast and the home fries were very undercooked . And ordered avocado toast for my partner and it was just a skinned avocado cut into two half s on two slices of toast and the side of peamale bacon was undercooked to the point of being not edible and large chunks of onions and spinach on top I will never be ordering take out from them again and I m very much considering not returning to the establishment after these embarrassing box s of slop they called food frankly inexcusable sorry I can t provide pictures we already threw out the food and demanded a refund

Order was wrong. Did not give fresh fruit as it said on meau. I asked for my receipt and they could not provide me with one. I was told the machine was broken. Terrible experience food was mediocre.

Im not from the Lindsay area, but I often visit to spend time with family. This is my go-to spot for brunch when I come through town. Im by definition a breakfast guy. It is the most important meal of the day, is it not? So needless to say, one of the reasons I frequent this spot is that I love the food. The Eggsmart franchise has always pleased me with its menu and options. I always love my meal here and so do my kids. Probably the number one reason I eat here often is because I love the atmosphere and friendly staff. They always make me and my family feel very welcome and looked after. I dont just come here to simply eat, I come to this location to enjoy family time, around a table, with great food and great company. This is my favorite spot in town to dine!

I removed a previous negative review about a take out order as this second time ordering, as a dine-in Customer was excellent. Friendly, courteous service and as I told the server the toasted western was better than my own for sure!

Stopped over there for a quick lunch on the way back to the city and cannot express how incredible the staff and service was. From the front of house to the back everyone was so kind and had a few great conversations. The food itself was actually unexpectedly delicious. I came into here thinking itll be run of the mill eggsmart but I was happily surprised with how much more impressive it was. Will be coming back if Im going up to cottage country again for sure.
