Masala Kraft - Indian - Thai - Indo Chinese in Lindsay

Went out with friends two times. Both the times food was delicious and well prepared. Staff is also very friendly. Had great time dinning there. Will visit again with friends for great time and great food. If you want to try good Indian food do try this restaurant!

My wife had told me how amazing this place was and she was not lying. This is easily the best Indian food in town. Complex flavors, friendly staff, great prices, and an abundance of food. If you re looking to add a little spice to your life, Masala Kraft should be your first stop!

Got takeout dinner last week for the second time from kraft masala. Flavour is on point again! spice level at hot is exactly how I like it. The lamb vindaloo, Tika masala paneer, veg pakora and butter naan was made perfectly. Cant wait to try some other items on the menu. Thank-you for bringing some good cuisine to Lindsay finally.

I just want to give a shout to this restaurant and the food, owners and atmosphere. I am originally from Scarborough but live in etobicoke. My background is srilankan, needless to say it is super hard to find authentic spicy Indian food especially in certain cities. Our bestfriend lives in lindsay and he suggested this place as well! My mom and I ordered paneer and goat curry with Naan. Everything was Delicious! We were definitely shocked in a good way when the food came and after our first few bites. I myself ordered the goat with the spiciest option which was the kali spice, it did not disappoint!! I literally saved my left over for another full day! It was that delicious I didnt want the experience to end. I would absolutely recommend this place! The owners were super warm and friendly as well! Wish they delivered to etobicoke lol

I recently visited this restaurant for lunch, and overall, the experience was just fine. This place isn t a fine dining restaurant but offers a decent selection of dishes that are good in taste. The portion sizes per plate are sufficient for one person and can easily be shared with a kid, which is a plus. However, the seating area is quite limited, so it might not be the best place if you re looking for a comfortable dine-in experience during peak hours. One downside is the pricing food prices are above average for the type of setup this restaurant offers. Additionally, we were disappointed with their policy that kicks in after 2 PM, where they start charging dinner rates even if you re ordering the same thali that is available during lunch hours. Another frustration was with the biryani we ordered; before 2 PM, it comes with raita and salad, but if you order it after 2 PM, those sides are excluded unless you pay extra. Butter chicken and garlic naan were both delicious. The medium spice level definitely has a kick so be mindful of that when ordering. Looking forward to trying other options on their menu.

Liked this restaurant so much but unfortunately had a bad experience today. Ordered through UberEats and waited almost an hour. First UberEats driver dropped my order since its 20 minutes wait. Wouldnt blame her/him anyway. Then second driver got my order and ended up asking more tip because they told him its 20 minutes wait time. Which I did because its not entirely their fault. Wouldnt order here anymore. Dont wanna wait an hour for a dinner meal.

First up, the food is amazing, quality product and lots of skill in the kitchen is obvious. Had the veg spring rolls, fresh, crispy and super tasty, mango chicken curry, lovely balance of sweet and spice, great flavour, chicken moist, and garlic naan, done in house, like with powerful but not overwhelming flavour. Service was pleasant, attentive and never overbearing. Very clean venue and nice atmosphere with a unique mix of old school diner and Indian/Chinese/Thai decor is hilariously today s Canada in the best kind of ways, lovely music as well. Two thoughtful feedbacks; when I asked for water I was given a plastic bottle instead of tap water, I prefer to be given the option between the two, I dislike when a server assumes I ll take bottled over tap, a quick look at the menu informed me that it was only a dollar so I m not insinuating some sort of grift, rather the staff are so used to take out orders getting bottled water automatically they also presume the diner will want it as well. Secondly there seems to be some small leak out of an ice maker behind the counter, the staff are using take away containers to catch the water, when I was there they were kicked over 3 or 4 times negating them being there anyways, it s a bad look, food storage items shouldn t be used for cleaning uses, at least not in view of customers, if the machine is brand new get in their service people, it shouldn t be leaking, if it came with the venue then put down an anti slip mat and just dry the area at the end of the night. Also one suggestion, you have a relationship with cheesecake factory, in consideration of Canadians preferences this is a good decision, I would contact them and ask them to source you a cake display a la diners of old, it would be much nicer then those little triangle pop ups and be a nice throw back to the building you re in. You ll sell more cake as well. I ll be back, so glad I dropped by, best of luck to you.

Food tastes great! Only thing I notice is that there was no Raita sauce with my biriyani. Next time I ll make sure to confirm as it should be included. Samosa s also tasted great but I think they are over priced as you can get bigger ones and more for same price at Kawartha shawarma and pizza. This dosnt mean I wouldn t order from you again but just feedback to ensure you continue getting business :)

Wow! This was the most amazing meal. The woman at the counter said her favourite is chicken Kadhai. Again wow. It was spicy and I only got medium, but got Raita on the side to temper it. Can t wait to go back.

First time ordering from Masala Kraft in Lindsay. We were very impressed. Huge menu. I had lamb korma. My friend had Madras chicken. Both were delicious. We were asked our spice level preferences. Abundant meat in flavourful sauces. Enough for another senior meal. Fairly priced. There are so many other choices we want to try. Will certainly go back. Likely many times.

Very disappointed. Ordered takeout Sunday evening based on rave reviews here. Firstly was not able to order UberEats as app was not functioning. I called and was well serviced by staff on phone. However when food arrived not one dish was edible. Buttered Naan was rubbery and could not even tear it. Lamb biryani is my favourite...lamb was dry. Rice was dry. Basmati rice was dry. Tika masala was OK. Two of us were only able to try each dish. Remainder was meant as leftovers but went in the garbage. Spent $60. I suspect we were delivered the days leftovers...cannot send it back once it is delivered. Will not be trying restaurant . Delivery driver was polite and friendly. Lindsay needs good Indian food. This is not it.

Edited: Best customer service from Rajvir. That s the girl in the front. She greets customers really well. Got her name today when I went to pick up my takeout. Also, my little one who is 16 months loves their spring rolls. Must try if you are there with kids!! They have delicious food which I can t rave enough about but what serves as cherry on top is their excellent customer service. They go above and beyond for their customers. The restaurant environment is so cozy and you are always greeted very nicely by the staff. I don t remember the girl s name, but she is the one in the front whenever I have been there. They have extensive menu to choose from and I love they have so many vegetarian options. Portion size and Naan SIZE are HUGE! Highly recommended, MUST try it out! Thank you for bringing the deliciousness and great customer service to the community. PS: Please give them ample amount of time if you are ordering take out, they are really busy out there!!! Vegetarian options: They have whole lot to choose from for vegetarian options. They have veggie momos and Thai noodles too which are real yum. You can choose your own spice level.

Been here twice now and am incredibly satisfied with the food on offer. I ordered the Chicken Vindaloo my first time and the Samosa Chaat the second. Both are amazing! Definitely be coming back regularly for my lunches. Service is friendly and helpful and the inside has a cool 50s diner crossed with Indian restaurant vibes. So many dishes on the menu and Ive only heard good things about dishes I havent tried. The price point seems reasonable for the quality of food.

Make a reservation! Our mistake showing up, unannoumced on a Thursday at 5pm. The service was so slow. We were told, unprompted, was due to all of the réservations they had. The food was very yummy once we got it! So glad this place is in Lindsay Vegetarian options: Lots of veg friendly options!

Over priced and less quantity. How you can charge raita $5( small ketchup size serve) . In my entire restaurant experience it comes with Biryani that I ordered. Restaurant have to understand quality, quantity and price should be proportional.

Really delicious Indian food, as an Indian I was hoping for something like this to open in Lindsay. Food was great, 5/5. I would suggest slightly larger portions for the price point as anywhere else (GTA, Brampton, Mississauga, Scarborough, Markham, Peterborough) offer more for the money. Service was good 4/5, Orders do take some time but they are also made fresh so understandable. Perhaps an extra pair of hands at the front in the future may be helpful. Atmosphere is BEAUTIFUL. 5/5, very comfortable seats and it has that diner/punjabi restaurant vibe to it. Most definitely will be back!

Very low quantity food ordered for a chicken biriyani and they give a very small amount of food in small curry bowl. And charged me 22.00 dollars. I have tried biriyani from all restaurants in Peterborough and missisauga they all have a good quantity of food . So disappointed

Very bad experience. I ordered for a biriyani combo special and got biriyani without raitha and pickle and the quantity was also very less. Why the hell they then charge me 22.44 dollars? Please don t buy from here if you want to get good quality and quantity dishes i will not suggest this place.

We ordered about 10 dishes for veg korma and paneer tikka, wait was 25 minutes extra than expected, but worth waiting for that, the taste was awesome, quantity was perfect and we all were so satisfied and happy after our meal. Thank you guys for making delicious food

Less quantity with high price. I am so disappointed by ordering a vanilla milk shake and its 8.98 dollars and thats just in a small plastic cup. Just mixing some vanilla ice cream with the milk. Comparing with other restaurants shake its so horrible. I dont think its worth to have drinks from here. Either reduce the price or increase the quantity with quality.

I ordered the vegetarian Thali--a wonderful introduction to whats on offer. It included two curries, chilled raita, rice, naan, and dessert (a sweet gulab jamun). Everything was very well-prepared and the service was excellent. I will definitely be back. A friend visited the same day and said the samosa chaat was the best hed tasted outside India. Two small requests: Could you have your t-shirts with their creative slogans for sale? And rather than water in plastic bottles, could you offer tap water?

FINALLY!!! Real Indian food in Lindsay!! My favourite culture. This is how its done! Great staples like aloo gobi, aloo matar, baigan bhartha, and tikka masala, but also lamb rogan josh and the vindaloo are fantastic. I love that they have masala naan, one of my favourites. And the Biryani is wonderful. I would recommend everyone try the kadhai chicken. Just perfect. I will say it is a bit more expensive than I was expecting. I have ordered take out a couple of times and the food containers were only half full. For $20/dish I would expect the takeout containers to be filled up completely. Another thing I would like to see is some stuffed paratha offered (aloo, gobi, mooli). All in all, really great place, and great food that is desperately needed in this area. Delicious healthy food and best service by Masala Kraft

Overall food was good but only issue with the quantity they serve which should more as per the price of their items. as i got Gulabjamun icecream which was of $6 something n i got one piece of Gulabjamun with one small scoop of icecream in a very small glass which is quite disappointing when you spend more and get less.

Update restaurant has contacted and explain the mix-up and made things right so will try again for sure.Specifically asked if butter chicken was spicy as I was sharing with a 3yr old child I was told no it is mild and ok for children. Not the case as an adult its medium and my mouth was overwhelmed had with rice and naan. Flavor was great before the heat. A little pricy for the serving size. Was looking forward to the opening. 30 dollars for 1 person.

Ok .Best food in Ontario. The samosas and chutney were extremely flavourful and the tenderness of the Goat Saag was next level. The garlic naan was fresh and baked. I also tried the Kali s revenge ( template of spice level) and it was a perfect level of hot. I ll be going back very soon.

Wow. We have an amazing Indian (and Indo-Chinese, Thai) restaurant in Lindsay. I was astounded at the quality and taste of the food. I had a curried cauliflower with maybe a fried breading that was delicious. Sort of reminds me of the way cauliflower can taste like a chicken wing. The tandoori chicken is the best Ive tasted, anywhere, and Ive had my share. Tender and loaded with flavour. The plate was $15 or $16 - a great deal - lots of chicken! I had the nan as well and, it looked stunning and tasted just as good. Service is super. Lindsay is growing up. Its no longer sleepy hollow with exciting restaurants such as Masala Kraft coming to town. I cant wait to return.
