Had a wonderful work christmas dinner here. Wonderful food and service in a warm relaxing atmosphere.

Food was pretty good. Service was excellent. Although the attempt is there to make this a fine dining experience it is just too noisy. Conversation of any kind is difficult. Everytime I have been there mu co-diners and I have had same complaint about noise.

I have eaten at the establishment a few time for dinner. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Food is wonderful and tasty. If you like a Caesar salad then you must try theirs. Definitely a place I will continue to visit

I ordered the Caesar Salad as I do every time. It is normally awesome and well presented. The lettuce was wilted and brown in places and it tasted bitter. I was so disappointed, although I was offered a complimentary dessert (which I don t eat) there was no adjustment to my bill. We dine there often.

Went there for dinner with friends, the food is delicious, the prices comparable to anywhere else and its just a lovely atmosphere and experience. Alcohol prices are higher but so is many other restaurants

My partner and I went to the restaurant on Saturday evening for dinner. Wow what a great place. The atmosphere is top notch. Very comfortable seating and nice music playing. Great ambiance! We started with brushetta which was lovely and then had our mains. I had the pasta aragosta which was excellant. Penne with lobster, tiger shrimp, scallops in a vodka cream sauce. Yummy! My partner had the ribeye steak with garlic mashed potatoes and brocollini in a peppercorn sauce. He enjoyed every mouthful. Sara our server was friendly, attentive and timed everything perfectly. If you havent tried this restaurant yet, make a reservation as you will not be disappointed.

Hidden gem that really delivers on everything thats important in a restaurant

We wanted a glass of wine with a small bite at the bar and then a pizza for takeout. They made that happen with a smile. Loved it. The shrimp appetizer was great and the nduja pizza was incredible. We loved this place.

They really cut the romaine In half and slap it on the grill? This is a Caesar salad. Beware if you order it expecting a salad. Ordered the focaccia as well, burnt on the underside as well as the lettuce. Focaccia was edible but the salad was inedible and taste like burnt lettuce.

The food and service was great. The mussels were a bit crunchy and the chairs a bit uncomfortable to lean back in but all in all it was wonderful and I recommend it. Parking: There is a lot behind the restaurant but its shared with another restaurant so it fills up.

We were a party of two and had soup of the day, which was delicious, one 5z glass of wine each, pasta, dessert, and coffee. Before gratuity, it was a total of $120 for a tasty meal, good service, and atmosphere . I highly recommend this restaurant.

We recently had lunch on Saturday and dined on Sunday at Gusto Grande and was thoroughly impressed. Searched for an Italian restaurant on our way from Ottawa to Toronto and we couldnt have chosen better. Excellent food and service, worth the small detour. Entirely recommendable.

Really lovely restaurant with quality food. Without a doubt the best restaurant in Lindsay & the Kawarthas. We wanted to have an intimate dinner for my fiancés 30th birthday and they gave us a quiet table off to the side and discounted our bottle of wine. I believe Jeanie was our servers name and she was really great. We have been back since and will be back again.

Stopped here just passing through Lindsay, one of the worst restaurants Ive ever been do , they keep the lights so dim you almost cant the the incinerated food. After telling our server we wouldnt be eating the food he proceeded to argue with us and tell us wed be paying for it. No table checks we had to go physically find him in the restaurant to get any kind of service. We didnt even get water when we came in . Food took about 45 minutes in an almost completely empty restaurant(obviously for a reason) .burger was a black hockey puck and the fries were still raw. Id pay money to NOT sit through that disaster again.

Beautiful atmosphere. Excellent service. Delicious food. I have eaten pizza in Italy and the pizza at Gusto is equally delicious. We had the seafood pasta and the cream sauce is so nice and light. I also recommend the rose sangria. Overall, wonderful place for a meal!

Our third time at Gusto Grande and have been impressed each time--2 suppers and 1 lunch. Service has been great each time (servers were Jess, Matt and Brittany) First supper we each got an appy, a salad and main...way too much food...how often do you hear that these days?? Lunch was good: sandwich and pizza. Last meal was beef tenderloin and the pork medallions. All very good (except for the senior who was trying to get his meal free even after using a BOGO coupon and eating all of his unsatisfactory meal, but Brittany handled him very well. Some people need to stay home!!) Would highly recommend Gusto Grande.

We went for supper and we had the bruschetta, Zarina linguine and chicken Parmesan. All very delicious. Jeannie was our server and she was great. We will definitely be back again very soon.

We were refused entry Not on the list. I had called but no one picked up the phone. Messaging system indicated leave a msg re: your reservation which I did. When we show up, few people in in the restaurant but our name not on the list. I suggested they check their msgs. Not my job. If youre not on the list, Bbye. I wont try again. Apparently a zero rating is not an option.

A wise choice for celebrating our 54th wedding anniversary. It was our 1st time there and food,service & atmosphere was excellent. We were given a complimentary dessert to celebrate. The waitress was amazing. Will definitely attend again sometime.

We went for our anniversary dinner. We paid $116 with taxes and tips for 2 drinks, two appetizersand two plates. The dessert was their treafor out anniversary. The food was very good and the service as well.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed dining out this evening at the Gusto Grande. Our server Jeanie was very helpful with suggesting awesome menu choices both entrees and appetizers! We enjoyed everything and can t wait to go back again!

Lets start by that this place calls itself authentic Italian restaurant. I ordered stuffed Buca nothing came stuffed. How can you call it stuffed when its not stuffed. Buca litterly means hole or pit to stuff something. Thats not the worst part. It was a softball sized meatball. That came out with ice crystals still in the center and still pink and raw!! Okay no big deal I mean everyone makes mistakes. They re make it and the second time it comes out the exact same!!. Still extremely cold in the center. The manager that wasnt the manager at first when I asked to speak to someone in charge how this cold happen. Was very rude. Even after touching the food herself and agreeing that the food was cold. She told me I dont know how this could happen they just came out of the sou vid. When everyone knows thats impossible because if it just came out the sou vid that would mean that the meat was the EXACT same temperature threw out. Just another way that proves this isnt authentic Italian as the Sou Vid is a French method of cooking. The waitress explained to me how the chef in that night was not the head chef just another chef that makes mistakes like this CONSTANTLY. So why is this chef still there. Obviously no pride was taken in there work. Then they made me a pizza. It was dripping in greace and was soggy. Crust was raw and chewy. Thats 3 attempts to feed me dinner and failed. Had to still go home and cook my own dinner. We only came because we got the mail coupons. The only thing they wanted to do at first was let me keep the coupon and pay full price. 3 times cooking the dish wrong. Twice with pink meat that could make your customer sick. And then a pizza that was inedible. The entire meal should have been covered. Just goes to show even when they Royal screw up all they care about is there money and not about there customer. No fresh parm and no fresh grated pepper for pasta dishes. Waiter looked at me like I was a crazy person when I asked. They legit said we have never had anyone ask for parmesan cheese or freshly ground pepper on any pasta dish. I was not going to write a poor review but the owner really needs to hear about this and actually do something with all there staff in order to better deal with situations like this.

3 of us visited on a thursday night and it wasnt too busy so we got seated right away. I definitely recommend the carbonara and tortellini arrabbiata! The Verde barbabietola salad was delicious as well! I look forward to trying the ceaser salad next time! Their rose sangria was top notch! Our server Brittany was so lovely and made my birthday dinner special! The tiramisu was tasty! She even gave my bday dessert on the house. The restaurant is a gem for Lindsay. I highly recommend it and look forward going back in the future!

Absolutely awful going in to get takeout and I tried to pay cash and they didn t have change and told me to leave to break the bill and come back. Poor customer service as I m in the restaurant industry and there should be change given back. It was my only way to pay and they said they couldn t break it.

Food is authentic, great place for a date night. Atmosphere helps set the mood. Service was superb went above and beyond to accommodate us. Had various dishes from calamari to lasagna and they all were delicious and had their own personal yet tasteful spin. Definitely worth a visit. We went for Chicken Parm and were wowed!

We had family in town and decided to try Gusto Grande. We are so happy that we did. Everything was fantastic. We had mussels, focaccia bianca, pizza. Chicken parmesan and the special of the day Seared Halibut. Atmosphere is gorgeous.

This is going to be a long review, but its important that I get the details right. My parents celebrated their 50th anniversary today. My mother decided weeks ago that instead of throwing a big party, she wanted to take her nearest and dearest out for a nice meal to mark the occasion. She wanted somewhere fancy, with table cloths, candles and cloth napkins. She went to several restaurants in the Kawartha Lakes area (we have family all living with 100km of Lindsay) and settled on Gusto Grande. Several weeks ago, she made a reservation for 15-16 people, being sure to ask if it was okay if she brought a cake that she planned to order. She went in person and watched the employee write the information down and was relieved that she had settled on a venue. This afternoon, before leaving for the restaurant she called to confirm that we would be 16, not 15 and was shocked to learn that by some computer error they had no record of her reservation and that they were full for the evening. At that point family members were already on route to the restaurant and she was at a loss for what to do. The person that she spoke to on the phone suggested that we could eat next door at their sister establishment. She also gave my mother a $200 gift card. My mother is a kind women and is not comfortable with confrontation and so she accepted. When my family and I arrived we were not aware of this change of plans and were quickly hurried out of the restaurant to the establishment next door. I made sure to inform the woman who was taking us over to the other restaurant that this was a special occasion, it was a 50th anniversary party, and she just said I know and continued on. When I saw my cousin on the street I informed him that the reservation had been screwed up and I was scolded by the employee for my choice of words. The restaurant that we were sent to was a sports bar. Not only did my mother not get her table cloths, candle light and cloth napkins...she got seated between the bathroom and the dart boards. The food and service there was what you would expect from a sports bar. We all ate and tried to be pleasant, but it was obvious that my mother and father were very upset. And to top it all off, we had to vacate by 7pm as they needed the table, which meant we had no time to eat the cake that my mother had ordered and paid for! 50 years of marriage is not a small accomplishment, it deserves to be respected and celebrated. I think that Gusto Grande should have made it right. They should have honored the reservation and called others that had booked more recently and cancelled their reservations. I honestly feel so sick about this that I cant sleep, its after 1am and I had to write this all out in the hope that I can let it go. I am so, so upset for my parents. They will never have another 50th wedding anniversary. I hope that the owner of Gusto Grande reads this and understands the gravity of this error. I also hope that others learn from this and think twice before booking a special event there.

A horrible experience at this eatery. Didn t even get to try the food.Met at the front desk by a manager named Angela who basically came over to us when we were talking to the hostess about a table and menu. This woman came up to us very abruptly and told us there were no tables and the bar was full,hence no seating. She told us to leave,now with a tone in her voice that we understood as we don t serve your kind. We phoned when we got home and we re given her to speak too as we had asked for a manager. She was abrupt, denied saying what she said and her tone of voice was escalating. She was not allowing us to put in our complaint as she attempted to talk over me,hardly letting me get a word in.She hung up on me as I was trying to give my side. We then wrote in a complaint to the restaurant and they haven t responded. We are both retired professionals and our demeanour was certainly friendly. We hope that this woman is disciplined as she had absolutely no right to treat people in this manner!

This restaurant was highly recomended to us. What a disappointment. We waited 45 minutes for our meal and when it came, my order was wrong. I ordered steak and got mussels. I waited another 15 minutes only to get the steak with the wrong sauce on it. It was supposed to be mushroom sauce and I got pepper sauce, which I couldnt eat because it was too spicy. The burger and fries the birthday boy ordered was mediocre. Asked for ketchup and mustard. Never got it. No price reduction. A birthday dinner not greatly appreciated. UPDATE: We have been offered a gift card to return and have our minds changed. Thank you.

The mains were disappointing. The gnocchi were overdone and the parsley was overwhelming. The canned mandarin garnish was unecessary and pallid. The massive pile of rapini was impossible to cut to bite size as it was resting on an equally massive mound of (delicious) garlic mashed potates. The coffee was weak. Our server was delightful.

After the initial encounter with the incredibly rude waitress on April 3 around 1 pm our party got up and left the restaurant without ordering. We will never go back. There are enough restaurants in Lindsay were the staff are pleasant and polite and the food is just as good or better. In response to your return comment. Firstly, we were never greeted at the door by anyone, not a living soul (your cameras will show that). The only time we spoke to the waitress (before seating ourselves) was when she had just come out of the kitchen and she said something to us in passing ( your cameras will show that). Being older and that some of us wear hearing aids it was unclear what she even said. Your cameras will clearly show us at the door and the waitresss position when she spoke to us for the first time. She certainly was not close to us. Prior to that, our party had been standing at the door waiting for someone to acknowledge us. There was not a person in sight. The area was completely void of any other person, not a customer, greeter or staff member. (Your camera will show that ) We debated whether we would seat ourselves as no one saw any visible sign saying please wait to be seated. If we had seen a sign we would have not seated ourselves. Also, if the waitress had come to the table and had politely asked us to move there would have not been any problem. It was her attitude that caused us to get up and leave. You dont tell a customer this isnt the type of restaurant where you seat yourself. A good waitress would have smiled, politely explained, and nicely asked if she could move us. We would have willingly moved. We had been looking forward to visting your restaurant as we have always enjoyed the atmosphere and the food but sadly that did not come to pass.

We ve ate at Gusto Grande a few times and always leave happy. The food is excellent, decently priced and the service is great.

If you find yourself in the Lindsay area book a table at Gusto Grande for some wonderful Italian cuisine. It s casual-fine dining at its very best using locally sourced ingredients. The portions are huge and the prices are extremely reasonable. We enjoyed the Risotto Di Mare and Fruiti Di Mare which came highly recommended and did not disappoint. There were so many mussels served with each dish. The bar area is cozy and can accommodate quite a few guests.

If you are in Lindsay, do NOT miss this place. This was some of the BEST food Ive had in a long time. The wine was wonderful and everything was VERY reasonably priced. I cant say enough about how wonderful the good was. We had gnocchi, a brushetta pizza, and the Brussel sprout appy. We will DEFINITELY be back.

I love this place. I hope everyone tries it out. Place sort of gets lost beside one eye, but wow is it worth stopping in. Ive been a few times now with family and everyone has loved everything. The lunch specials are a steal, and the service matches the food. A must try, go enjoy.

Classy all the way! Highly recommended! Portions are absolutely generous for the difficult times we live now I tried the bar with some classic cocktails not in the list and the bartender was up to the task! I was surprised, for an Italian place, to miss the introductory olive oil with bread but overall a pleasant surprise to find in Lindsay such a good quality restaurant! We will definitely stop again if passing thru Lindsay in the future We were trying to rank it and my wife for sure ranks it in top 5 restaurants in Toronto for food quality and ingenuity

My wife and I had date night here last night, Jan 28. Food, service and atmosphere were great. Our server Jessica Gilson was very nice, polite, very friendly, and did an awesome job taking care of us. Food was exceptional. We had the bruschetta di pollo to start, my wife had the seafood pasta, and I had the chicken parm. The chefs nailed it, food was incredible, and came out hot. Atmosphere was very nice. I had a couple Long Island iced teas, and my wife had a rose sangria, all were excellent. We will definitely be back! Thanks for a great night Jessica and chefs!

Had a wonderful 70th Birthday luncheon for my husband with about 16 ppl. What a great place for a celebration. Very attentive staff, food was wonderful. Thank you!

Went on a Wednesday around 1pm in a group of four and we were all incredibly disappointed. I started by ordering a basic red wine sangria, and it was one of the worst I ve ever had. The wine tasted as if it was the cheapest bottle they could find, and combine that with a bit of fruit juice - and that s what I got for $17. The salad was sparse when it came to toppings, what you see in the picture is what you get. The dressing was incredibly light. The cheese tortellini had a bit of a bite to it but was still good. At one point we were the only table in the entire restaurant, and while the service was fast, it wasn t personable. The restaurant atmosphere felt very cold - and not in the temperature kind of way. Great decor. I m not itching to go back but it s not completely out of the question.

The food was great. Didnt like sitting at the bar till 9:25 when we had a 9:00 reservation and couples who seemed to know staff got seated before us even though we came in ahead of them. Our tall, dark-haired server without leather pants was awesome, though.

Great experience here - fist time and highly recommended by neighbours. We were not disappointed, from the greeting we received when we arrived to the great service from Brook throughout the entire meal. I had the duck wings and the salad with pear, and my husband had the steak with mushrooms. We also enjoyed some wine and beer. Everything was great and we will definitely come again and probably often.

I am surprised at the negative reviews. Our experience here was amazing, the food was fresh and the Bruschetta was the best I have had on crisp bread. The server we had, Brooke was so on top of things, and ensured we were taken care of. A huge thank you - if youre in the area - definetly check them out!

We discovered this new fabulous restaurant by chance. The meal was so good that we had to squeeze in dessert. Jean, our waitress, was amazing and made some great suggestions.

Visiting Lindsay for 2 days went to dinner at GG by chance the first night and by choice the 2nd night! Food, atmosphere and service ALL EXCEPTIONAL!! Thank you Angela, Jeanie and Walt for being great!!

Our waiter waiter was good but hard to catch his attention for a drink refill and by the time we got him we were good with water. The meatball talked a big show but I found it tough and a little bland, menu says stuffed 10 oz meatball but, it was just a meatball. It wasnt hot in the middle either making me think it was from the fridge, it wasnt cold but when the centre is cooler than the outside something is off. The tomato sauce was good although nothing overly special to me. Presents well on the plate though as you can see in the pic. My wife had the Gusto Gnocchi and the pesto sauce was a little weak. The gnocchi themselves were nicely cooked. We had the tiramisu cheesecake for dessert. This was the best item we had. Very nice presentation in a glass mug but, I was expecting a coffee flavour. The only coffee I got from it was the 2 chocolate coffee beans on top. It was tasty though. 2 drinks, 2 Mains, 1 Dessert for $89. I dont feel this is overpriced but the mains lacked flavour. If the mains delivered more in the flavour department would have been a good meal. Nice atmosphere, cozy. I dont plan on returning after this visit.

I was glad to see Gusto Grande serving Italian cuisine. I love bolognese with pasta so seeing this on the menu ordered just that. I ordered the bolognese pasta with Caesar salad. The bolognese pasta I felt needed a little more seasoning to me but I love the portion size. For me the caesar salad was different but the dressing was just delicious. I didn t do a five star just for my own preference that I missed but I would recommend others to visit and try Gusto Grande meals. For dessert I ordered the budino al limoncello it was amazing! It caught me off guard just how tasty it was and I highly recommend for dessert!

We were looking for a nice lunch spot . We had no idea because there was no evidence of there being lunch served, but we poked our heads in and the lady said Yes! we have a 15 dollar lunch menu! who knew?.Anyway it was beautiful and delicious. Try it for lunch you wont be disappointed. And If its your birthday you get a free desert. !!. It was more supper than lunch. we were stuffed. And we were the only ones there. . so nice.

This place is honestly a 12/10! The minute you walk in the ambiance is incredible. Staff is super friendly. Food is some of the best Ive had in years, a complete flavor explosion. We order 3 apps, 2 mains, desert, bottle of wine, a specialty cocktail annnnd the price, lets say I was shocked in the best way. This place is perfection!

Dinner was garbage. $25 charcuterie board was packaged meat from a grocery store, 2 cheeses were acceptable. I had a seafood dish, all cooked to rubber. Husband had a rib eye which was not a rib eye, was a flank or skirt, super thin. Peppercorn cream sauce was flour and water with peppercorns in it. Nothing was comped. Servers were nice. Food was gross. Ruined my Mother s Day dinner. NEVER GOING BACK. I DONT RECOMMEND.

First time here. The girls of the family were celebrating 2 birthdays. Staff was very friendly and helpful. There were 5 of us and we were amazed that our waitress didnt write down any order and made no mistakes at all including accommodation of a few quirky requests. We enjoyed EVERY morsel from Appetizers to dessert and fancy coffees. Im enjoying my leftover risotto for breakfast, still delicious. Thank you for a wonderful experience we will be back.

Delicious food and friendly staff! Beautiful decor and the renovations are well done. If you ve been to the Grande in the past you will be blown away by what they have done with the place. The gnocchi was a hit with everyone and the drinks were great too. Ensure you call ahead and make a reservation!! They can get very busy on weekends.

Came out to Lindsay on business and a ended with a fantastic meal here I had The Ceasar salad and penne and Firenze pasta. The dessert menu looked great but there was abolutely no space left in my belly.

The food was ok, the description of it on the menu sounded good, but it was lacking taste. I chose the chicken parmesan. I also tried the roasted Brussels sprouts with lemon sauce, now that had some taste. The front steps are really high, not sure if there is a side entrance for W/C , Parked on the street or side street .

Great food, atmosphere and service. Tried the chicken parm with fresh pasta and the risotto, both were excellent. All pasta is fresh/homemade and portions are big. They also have pizza and burgers on the menu. Street parking is available. Couple of recommendations for the restaurant. Make sure bread and olive oil are available on the menu, or at least offered at the start. Desserts are lacking. Since you have pizza on your menu, would be great if you offered Zeppole. Can t go wrong with deep fried pizza dough covered in icing sugar and warm Nutella to dunk in. ;) Anyway, great Italian restaurant in Lindsay definitely going back.

We happened upon this place by chance on a visit to Lindsay. The $15 lunch menu was fantastic, the service was great and the atmosphere great. Definitely worth a visit if you havent been.

I would say this far from authentic Italian food . Rather disappointing actually . You can tell there isn t an Italian chef cooking in the back .

Stopped in on a whim. We had a great dinner. Staff very pleasant. We shared the Caesar salad which was very good. Pizza and pasta were very flavourful. Pizza is a good size. Very nice high end decor. It is fine dining. Prices were reasonable. Just made reservations to return in a few weeks. Will probably order the same dishes as they were so good.

Stumbled on this gem when we went to go to the pi eyed monk restaurant only to find they were closed. Classy Italian restaurant and my wife says the pizza here was as good and less expensive than what we would have paid at the pi eyed monk. I had a pasta dish and it was delicious. Will definitely be back

Highly recommend for Italian food

Moved into Lindsay from downtown Toronto for college, I eat out frequently & was sceptical about finding a nice Italian spot - but this place was a nice surprise, had great service and the food was great too, good portions and my pasta was cooked very well in the bolognese. The Caesar sale was also delicious. Two meals I recommend.

Brittany was our server for our 20th anniversary dinner. She was fabulous, charming and took amazing care of us. Food expectation was high based on the menu description and did NOT disappoint. Loved every course. Thank you to all staff for creating such a great experience for a very special occasion.

My wife and I went for our 42 anniversary on October 3, our first visit and wow absolutely love this place! Décor is beautiful and the tub chairs were so comfy! we shared the caprese salad, excellent, my wife had the salmon and I had the halibut both extremely delicious. Finished off sharing the chocolate mouse. Our waitress was Angela, vey nice woman great job explaining some of the dishes and the wines. We had reservations for 5:30 arrived early but when we left at 7:15 the restaurant was packed and it was a Tuesday night! make your reservations.

Popped in here on Saturday and had a delightful experience with Angela as our server. It s such a relaxing and elegant atmosphere, service was prompt and friendly, and the food was exquisite. I got the sirloin sandwich from the lunch menu, which was very flavourful; I d highly recommend it. The fries are excellent, as well as the tiramisu cheesecake. It wasn t terribly busy, but even as it got busier we were promptly taken care of. The bathrooms were very clean and luxurious. If ever we are back in Lindsay, we will be coming back!

I had the Risotto di Mare, the flavour was delicious but the rice was mushy (should be al dente) and the calamari was so over cooked I could barely chew through it. Charcuterie board was nothing special at all. I was so disappointed with the food but the service was excellent.

First visit. From out of town. Arrived approximately noon. Was Greeted Immediately and seated. Started off with a nice hot pot of ginger lemon tea. Appetizer, baked Faccocia Bread, onion, garlic, herbs and a side of Olive oil to dip. Main Dish....12oz Ribeye (blue), mashed potatoes, cooked greens, beets carrots etc.. FINALLY a Chef that knows what blue means. Cooked to PERFECTION including the exact amount of fat left. The BEST Meal and Service........ since I can remember. If I Lived in Lindsey...... this IS where I would be Dining.... Every Day. Compliments to the Chef and Staff! Service, Quality, Taste..... it MATTERS to Me.

Date: October 21. Service: Excellent, hostes/waitress had the best attitude. Ambiance: Gorgeous little gem in the downtown core. Elegant, clean, not a pub vibe far from it. Food: main courses go from 15 to 45 dollars, if I remember correctly. Curiously, the portions served are not what you encounter in most restaurants... our meals were big !!!!!. All tasted amazingly good. The one thing Id recommend to the kitchen is do not over cook your hamburgers. Ours was a bit too well-done. The rest of the meal were fabulous. I definitely recommend this place.. if you are spending time at a cottage....but also want a nice dinner one night...this is the place.

I was visiting Lindsay this past weekend and I was in the mood for Italian. The Gusto Grande was phenomenal. I did take out for a caesar salad and carbonara. Both dishes travelled well back to my hotel and the portions were very generous. I loved the charred caesar and the carbonara was one of the best I ve had. The restaurant itself was clean and inviting. The host was friendly and the order was ready at the specified time. I look forward to visiting again in the future.

Wow, what a lovely dining experience. The atmosphere was classy and welcoming. The lunch menu selection is great and very much worth the price! We were a party of four, three had from the lunch menu and were very happy. I selected from the regular menu and was not disappointed! We will certainly be back!

Amazing food and service !!!

Food was an absolute letdown. Ordered the olive app with my wife on a rare lunch date; they brought a ridiculous amount out, (almost comical portion), with no spoon to serve and no plate for pits. This, coupled with a side of the hardest bread (for what?), and all in enough olives to feed a table of 8-10. Weird. We split a pizza, their signature pie. Globbed of cheap cheese (betting it was pizza mozzarella), with American bacon and a crust not even homemade, nor cooked well - zero bubbling, zero char. Rose sauce was out of a jar and the unseasoned (frozen) chicken and raw onion just made it worse. Pizza couldnt even stand up to its own weight, drooping and flaccid when picked up. Maybe a step up from the chains in town, but nowhere near what an Italian oven fired pizza should be. We couldnt even finish splitting it. Our server was nice enough, but needs some serious training. pah-stah not pass-taa, bru-sket-ta not bru-shettaa and poi-yo not pole-oh for the love of god, I wouldnt care but when you purport yourself Italian, learn the basics please. Beautiful job on the interior, but the food was not on par. Zero plans to come back. Shame, really could have been something here. 100% wont return.

Eaten here several times now. Definitely top of our lists of restaurants in the area so far. Very good food, great portions and great people. If you re looking for Italian make this restaurant your destination. Great value for money. Great for a date or a group of friends.

I had the opportunity of dining here with my daughter for my 74th birthday. This restaurant in Lindsay was absolutely beautiful and food was scrumptious and gorgeous atmosphere. The waitress, unfortunately did not get her name, was very professional and courteous. She couldnt do enough for us. We will be back. Please go here and enjoy.

Was a great experience - food was great and the atmosphere a tiny bit posh for Lindsay - which is finally nice to see. Will def go back.

Was hoping for better to be honest. We went before the official opening though so maybe some things have been ironed out. There were a few mistakes that were nothing to worry about. We are happy to pay the prices for good food, but felt it wasn t really worth it here. Hopefully we get a better experience when we go back - won t hesitate to try again one day.

Finally had a chance to try this place, got the best seat in the house, decor and atmosphere is awesome! Italian style menu, we had the olives as an appetizer and my wife had the Mushroom pasta and I had the Grande Meatball, both were good but we were blown away by the Tiramisu dessert, wow is all we can say, we will be back. Incredible what they did with the old Grand!!!
