Being new to the area I’ve been wanting to stop by this little place for a while. I’ve had local customers rave about the homemade baked goods from this little gem for a while so I quickly stopped by on my lunch to grab a few things to try. WOW it did not disappoint. I chose a savoury cheese scone and a pecan buttered tart. Out of this world! The scone was loaded with flavour and savoury which is a favourite of my husbands, being from Newfoundland, a lot of savoury goes into dishes so I knew I had to save him some and he was blown away at how delicious this was. The Pecan butter tart was probably the best I have tried in this area by far. Crust was flaky and buttery and the filling was unbelievable. Perfect consistency and I feel like it possibly had candied Pecans which gave it a delicious crunch. The lady behind the counter was so kind and full of personality and the prices were fantastic! I will definitely be back. Looking forward to checking out their menu and I will highly recommend my customers to give them a try when looking for a recommended spot for lunch.
So I ordered food last night, their delivery did not show up. I tried calling their number and after 30 minutes their delivery guy answered, said he’ll be there in 5 minutes and then proceeded to not answer his phone at all. I was very hungry and very angry. I contact Wolt support and they cant contact the restaurant. Extremely unprofessional.
Small spot, only a few tables but amazing prices for what you get. Homemade soups, yummy sandwiches. One of my favorite places for lunch in town!
We were just passing through and wanted a nice lunch! It was excellent! We didn't have a reservation, but they were able to give us the next available table. My spouse had a meat pie with Caesar salad, I had a Reuben sandwich with a cup of butternut squash and apple soup. Our food was lunch sized; we were both full but had no leftovers or food waste. We paid less than at many fast-food chains. We were treated so well and the food was delicious. The bathrooms were clean. Perfect lunch cafe.
Wonderful experience - came to town for the Farmers Market. Great little Eatery with a wide assortment of choices including wonderful baked goods. We purchased a cranberry scone which was absolutely delicious. On top of the great food product that we tried we had exceptional service from the host who was not only a friendly and attentive but also exceptionally kind to assist with a wasp sting I had received 5 minutes earlier. I cannot thank you how much this was appreciated- continued success . We highly recommend
I took my family on a “Guess Where Trip” called butter tart trail. Our first stop was Corner Bites Eatery. Since we were on a butter tart tour I got a pecan butter tart. I must say it was pretty good. My wife got plain butter tart and she said it was good. My daughter went for the chocolate chip short bread cookies and she said they were excellent. Since we we’re coming from Brampton it would to much to drive back every week but we’ll be back.
Absolutely great experience. Small establishment but quality food, excellent prices and most important, excellent customer service and hospitality. Very welcoming multiculturally...unlike the treatment received nearby at another establishment. The owner and server were gracious hosts...the food was delicious and variety was great. Had to buy frozen pies and tarts to take home.Loved it!!!

We purchased two quiches and a dozen scones to serve an 80th birthday party, at our home. Everything was ready for pick up exactly when promised and everything was delicious. Everything was perfect and we couldnt be happier. Thank you.
Absolutely fantastic, worth calling ahead to reserve a table, but even if its busy you can get food to go.

When you walk into Corner Bites, you are immediately welcomed like family! This hard working team produces the best lunch/brunch in the area: amazing soups, scones, sandwhiches and of course, desserts! And their portions are good, too. Thanks for your delicious work!

Cute little restaurant with great food. Had home made soup to die for. Can also buy pastries as well as sandwiches, lasagna. You can make reservations as there are about 7 tables to choose from.
I almost don t want to say how wonderful this place is because I m not sure I want to share! It s a definite must go! The soup is lovely, as is the pot pies my husband always gets. And oh! the scones!!!

In Lindsay, Ontario. Ive flown all over the world testing butter tarts and today at Corner Bites I indulged in one of their plain butter tarts. Omg . Absolutely mind blowing. Hats off to Corner Bites for their great food, service , atmosphere of love and their homemade baked goods.
Amazing staff, fantastic food!
My wife and I have become regulars at Corner Bites. The homemade food is incredible and Sandys baked goods are top notch. The Kentucky Butter Cake is (without exaggeration) the best dessert Ive ever had. The best part is that you can have lunch and a dessert for under $20.00.
Great grilled cheese with tons of different combinations of fillings. Took a while to get order placed but its busy. But nice people and yummy food.
Great little corner spot for brunch. Lovely menu selection and good conversation. OH AND don t forget to pick up some fresh made baked goods on your way out! The sugar cookies and butter tarts are to die for!

Sandy and her husband are amazing. The food is fresh, tasty, made in house and so good. Staff is friendly and restaurant is very clean. I recommend highly.

Had the sesame chicken salad and it was incredible. Finished it off with coffee and a slice of pecan pie. Highly recommend this place. Best meal we have had in a long time. A new favourite.

We visited for lunch on a Guess Where Trips trip and enjoyed our meal! The service is great and the food is delicious. Their pecan pie is bliss!
I was craving soup, I was on my way to Tim Hortons and the line up was crazy. I was walking back to work and decided to give this place a try; Im so glad I did! I order a large broccoli cheddar soup. For $8ish, the portion is huge, and probably one of the best broccoli cheddar soups Ive had. Im excited to go back and try more soups.

Great homemade comfort food, reminded me of going to cafes with my Nan in England when I was younger! Service was great, never with an empty cup and the food was excellent, highly recommended

The home made soups are very good here. Sandwiches are also very good. Baked goods like butter tarts are to die for! Priced slightly higher than average but everthing here is home made. You should try this place if in town.

Staff are friendly a little bit catered two seniors portions are reasonable baked goods are fabulous,, clean and very nice washrooms the toilets are high setting toilets so easy to get on and off for seniors can t say enough about the place I didn t catch the waitresses name but she is just a wonderful waitress can t say enough about this place do yourself a favour if an Lindsay an Ontario I have Breakfast or lunch they close at two wonderful

Great local eatery for breakfast or lunch. Lots of good sandwich options, daily homemade soups and their quiches are great too. Staff are very friendly and welcoming.
Outstanding - food was excellent, desserts are worth trying all. Dont go if you are in a rush but worth staying at to try everything.

My mom has just filled me in on a disturbing experience she had at this restaurant. While enjoying lunch with some of her work friends this young gentleman walks in with his resume in hopes to fill a position at this establishment (there was a help wanted sign in the window.) This young man struggled to speak English but was brave enough to give it a shot...Sadly the owner/cook/ whoever he is immediately shuts him down saying ummmm I need people who can speak English in an extremely rude & loud manner for everyone to hear. HOW EMBARRSSING! This poor young man is just trying to get by & you are going to blatantly shut him down & embarrass him?? I m disgusted just HEARING about this... so here I am writing this review because I refuse to stand by & let ANYONE treat another human being like this. We will never eat at this restaurant again. Ever.

I wasnt to impressed with it, there food was alright but nothing special, and there service was friendly but not very quick, I wouldnt say to not go there, bit its nothing that I would really recommend.

As an Australian, I have been waiting for a decent meat pie. They do then as a pastie here, but it is the closest thing I have had to one back home!
