Milk & Honey Eatery in Lindsay

Humiliated Second time I ve had lunch in this restaurant with my partner. When I went to pay at the counter the owner processed the bill. When she said it was over $60 for two salads, a latte (1), soup (1) and a scone (1) I was a surprised and my partner questioned the total. The owner began berating her from behind the counter implying that if she didn t like the prices she doesn t have to eat here, it s a family business, etc. Ruined what would have been a perfectly nice lunch and we will not be going back. If you do go here for lunch and would like to keep your dignity .don t question the bill ..

This place deserves all the stars. The best salad ever, fresh ingredients and thr homemade bread one of the best Ive ever eaten. Also the service was awesome.

This is a fabulous cozy local eatery with a great vibe. Food is fresh , creative and always yummy. Staff are friendly, efficient & strive to make your experience memorable. Make sure and stop by!!!!!!

First time in Lindsay and chose to have lunch here on a whim. Excellent tasting food made with fresh ingredients, friendly service, and comfortable atmosphere. Would definitely recommend. :-)

Went today for my first time very clean great menu awesome service and the food was so fresh and very delicious!!!!!

This is not a proper coffee shop, no proper cappuccino machine and the taste of what is considered cappuccino is comparable to something from a vending machine. Over $5 and when I sat on the couch (in hopes I could enjoy a cup) I was given a to go cup. Sometimes it s about the experience of sitting down to enjoy a full cup of something from an actual coffee cup. Very disappointed and won t return.

We hosted a bridal shower at the new Milk & Honey location this past weekend and everything was perfect! The owner Olivia was extremely helpful and provided us with everything that we needed. We ordered the charcuterie cups and everyone loved them. I also go to Milk and Honey semi-regularly for lunch and it is always great food and service. Its overall an amazing spot!

Great location and service (as always) at the new location. Friendly ambiance and amazing lunch choices. We shared the Hawaiian panini and Veggie panini with chicken and I can t decide which one was better because they both were so good! Very busy thankfully we made a reservation for the four of us! Wheelchair accessibility: There is accessible parking in front of the restaurant however there is a step to get into the restaurant.

Fantastic place to eat!

This place is never a miss! It really is a hidden gem amongst all the brunch options in town. The staff are quick and provide lots of details to any questions I have. The owner always seems to make an appearance to say hi to her customers which makes us feel appreciated. The food is delicious and tastes homemade. After every meal there, I leave saying that is just what I needed! Very excited to see their new location in town.

We organized a party for my family and Olivia was so helpful from start to finish. Prompt service and response and the food was fresh and delicious. Thanks Olivia and staff for helping make our parent s wedding anniversary special. :-) Food

1st and last time. My friend and I tried to order the soup and scone for lunch, they were out of scones, asked the server what the replacement was for the scone, there wasn t any. So we asked if we could have a slice of bread with our soup, after consulting with her colleagues the server comes back and offers us a croissant or bruschetta with our soup, we said no the bread will be fine, the server tells us that bread is not an option. Weird because I was looking at 3 loaves of bread behind the counter and they have multiple sandwiches on their menu. Needless to say, the overall experience was very poor. Don t bother with this place. We just left, no need to stay where you can t be accommodated with a slice of bread. Thank you to the owner Olivia who reached out to me regarding my review. She provided 100% positive customer service. My friends and I will have to come back for a second try. **** these are my 4 stars for her attention to this matter.

Carol and her young associate were so friendly, in a lovely down-to-earth way, and the food that they prepared & served was DEE-LISH-OUS Four of us were well-treated & well-fed in this spacious, clean location by this Delightful Duo! By the way, Ive had carrot cake all over the world, including England, which is were it was allegedly invented, and the amazingly light and scrumptious one at Milk & Honey Eatery is hands-down the best by a country mile. This place is a complete rip off. The food portions are small, paid $11 for a tiny egg salad sandwich, the chicken wrap was made with microwaveable chicken, the ham and cheese croissant was basic tasting, nothing special. For $46 we could have went to a restaurant and sat down and actually got decent size meals. Service was pretty poor as well. Will never come back here. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Food was really disappointing for being so expensive. Our waitress was also not friendly at all. She seemed kind of rude. Really sad cause it s a cute place I wanted to like it.

I went there for takeout in January and got a caesar wrap and red pepper soup. Both were delicious. The wrap was so filling I had the soup for a different meal. While prices are on the higher end, I think it is worth it for the quality you receive. I look forward to trying more items!

Milk & Honey is my go to spot downtown Lindsay. The food is so amazing and fresh and the atmosphere and staff are so welcoming. The lattes are spectacular. Do not miss this Lunch spot.

The service today July 18th at lunch was terrible ,table was not level. I spilled my coffee my friend, I was having lunch went up to counter to get a cloth to wipe it up. The waitress never even bothered to come over. We cleaned up the spill. We walked up to counter and paid and left. Very bad customer service. To add they were not busy.

Spent over $50 for 2 people at lunch time!!! We each ordered a small panini sandwich with about 1/4 cup of soup on the side and 2 coffees. The food was very tasty but frankly I could have eaten both our meals. I left hungry. The service was OK. She only checked on us once, but came back several times when were finished eating. We were visiting and even though it wasnt busy we felt like she was rushing us to leave.

We LOVE the sandwiches here - Veggie Delight is my favourite! We have never had a meal that wasnt amazing. Service and staff are always so kind and quick to help!!

Disappointed in the mac & cheese that was cooked in the microwave that I paid $15.99 for. Very small portion.

We had Milk&Honey cater our backyard wedding (sandwich platters for lunch and lasagna s for dinner). Our guests loved the food and thought it was very tasty. There were hardly any leftovers, as everyone had seconds :) The customer service was great throughout, I provided the details and she did the rest. 10/10 would use as catering again!!

After researching some other Google reviews, decided to try this place for lunch. Good choice! The menu is incredible with many delicious choices. The food does not disappoint either. Try the Hawaiian Panini.

I came in during a very stressful day for me, just to grab a quick bite and to sit for a moment. My server was an absolute angel. She was absolutely the highlight of my day. I came in a few times last year when I was in the area, and havent had the chance to come back, but somehow she recalled serving me a year ago! She was so kind during a day I really needed some kindness. As for the food, I ate here once, a year ago and havent been able to stop thinking about their speciality latte, salads, and paninis. If Im ever in or passing Lindsay, stopping here is a must!

If youre going to charge me $17 you cant serve gas station gourmet paninis, either up the quality or lower the price. Nothing in here is worth $17, - Ive been here enough times to know.

Please update your GMB hours accordingly. My friend and I stopped in town to try your restaurant specifically as your GMB says you are open, when in fact, you are not. Disappointing.

Wanted to try some place new with my mom for lunch. Saw a posting on Facebook about the restaurant. You do need reservations as there is not alot of seating at the present time. Staff are extremely friendly and a pretty good menu. Was a bit noisy and loud but would go back. They also do take out. Was amazed at the number of people who came in for take out

I came to Lindsay from Toronto for a site visit. I gave this local eatery a shot and there was no disappointment. Seating in a nice corner of the town, all delicious homey meal will lots of greens. The service was friendly and quickly. Worth the visit.

Milk & Honeys soups and sandwiches are absolutely amazing. Youll pay more to eat here compared to other establishments, but their food quality justifies their prices. I highly recommend eating here!

Incredible food! I got the Tuscan pesto panini with the most amazing carrot curry soup. The soup is perfect on a crisp fall day! The food is so flavourful, and you can tell how fresh everything is. Very impressed, definitely will be coming back. This restaurant is a must when in Lindsay!

Delicious panini and soup for lunch today. Quiet and quaint, lovely service. One piece of feedback would be that the restaurant smells strongly of a cleanser (which is on one hand nice - and the place is surely spotless - but the scent overpowered the delicious smell of fresh food). Will absolutely be back!

My wife and I had paninis. I had a chicken Caesar one with a salad. Delicious!

Expensive for what you get. So much of the food was not made from scratch. They put preshredded cheese on everything. Chicken Caesar sandwich had reconstituted chicken. Soup was good but was made worse by the unnecessary addition of preshredded cheese. garden salad was fresh but far from delicious. Definitely feels like an afterthought rather than a feature dish. Ingredients felt random and uncohesive. Mac and cheese does not have a gooey cheese sauce. Mostly just more preshredded cheese. It wasnt even completely melted. Nice place to meet someone for coffee or a snack maybe, but not for lunch.

The food at Milk and Honey was delicious! I had tried that Mac and Cheese and the Ultimate Grilled Cheese and both were amazing! I cannot wait to go back to try other sandwich s!

Everything was fresh, delicious, healthy. Staff was incredibly friendly and the restaurant itself was so cute. Cant wait to go back! Vegetarian options: Vegetable sandwich and salad were delicious. Raisin scone was so good as well!

Had take out from there for the first time yesterday, and everything was delicious. We had soups and wraps, and both were very yummy. Very friendly staff as well. Next time we will dine in, as the take out menu is not their full menu. Vegetarian options: Seemed to have plenty of vegetarian options. Parking: Lots of parking on the street or in the lot beside.

Ive come here twice now, and the food is amazing!! The only thing that sucks is that it takes close to over a hour to get what I ordered. The people are sweet to!!

Lots of food for the money. Left very full on a soup and sandwich. Fresh ingredients and great service. A low carb option would be a great addition on the panini menu at a future date.

Great service, great coffee! Snickerdoodle latte wasnt on the menu, but when I asked the barista said she could do it for me and it was delicious! Looking forward to coming back and trying some of the yummy looking dishes on the menu!

I love this place, the food is amazing and they are very accommodating, the soups are prepared fresh and always a delicious kind, the wraps are also made fresh and absolutely delicious. I would recommend 100%, only ever done lunch there but by far one of the best lunches in town.

Highly recommend this location. First off the vibe is extremly cozy. Its always clean, nice music and beautiful art. The staff members are always joyful and provide excellent service. The food is delicious. They have fresh soup and bakery goods everyday. Its so fresh and good actually that they often run out. I recommend going early. I and my grandmother went 1.5 hours before closing and there was only one bowl of soup left. Thats how fresh and popular it is. The menu itself also has lots of options for vegetarians. Not just your typical vegetarian menu items either. A very good variety. Finally they have the best coffee in town. Their coffee is always delicious. If you like flavors such honey or cinnamon then this is your place. They also always have seasonal coffees such as pumpkin spice or snickerdoodle. So your experience always stays fresh. So yeah I highly recommend.

The comfortable, welcoming decor, delicious scents coming from the kitchen and the inviting smiles on everyones faces make this a perfect place to gather with friends or have a quick bite on your lunch break. I came back for a second day today just to make sure it was as great as it seemed yesterday......and it was. 5 star for sure, their soup is amazing, the scones and home made jam is delicious, and the staff are so friendly. This will definitely become a staple spot for lunch.....and Im looking forward to trying the cinnamon french toast for breakfast.

Very delicious first time having there food

We have ate here 4 times now and every meal we have had has been homemade and delicious!!!

Everything on the menu is phenomenal. My coworkers and I are all addicted to Milk and Honey, the staff are so welcoming and friendly and the food is the best in town!

We had a short stop in Lindsay, ON, to get a bite to eat. First we were thinking Tims, but then saw a sign Milk and Honey Eatery and walked right in. Milk and Honey, exactly what we needed on the rainy gloomy afternoon. We felt welcome from the minute we opened the door. The place was very clean, the service was fantastic. The food exceeded our expectations. Well done! Highly recommend this place.

We were passing through Lindsay last week and stopped at Milk & Honey for a late lunch. I ordered the Baked Brie Wrap with a soup (Butternut Squash with Maple) - both were soooo tasty!!! The staff working there were both very pleasant and friendly. I highly recommend this place for a healthy lunch and cant wait to go back again!!
