Our family had a great lunch here today! I had the wings with bronco parm sauce, husband had the bronco burger and daughter had the grilled cheese (which she gave two thumbs up to). Everything was great, and the service was fantastic. I couldn’t believe the owners remembered us from a previous visit! We did get to try the sticky toffee pudding, yum! Sadly the crab cakes eggs benny was sold out when we got there, so I guess we will just have to go back soon!
Came in with my boyfriend for burgers and was blown away by the flavours and hospitality. Chris and Claudia are extremely warm and welcoming people who take a lot of pride in their restaurant and their menu. We ordered a Chicago and Manhattan burger, and both were exceptional. We especially loved the homemade marinara sauce on the Chicago burger. The burgers were clearly homemade and jam packed full of flavour. It's so nice to find a gem like this in our small town and hope they have great success with their business for many years to come!
You could drop me in the middle of the Saharan Desert or the Pacific Ocean or the vast continent of Asia and I would find my way to Lindsay to indulge in quite possibly the best burger that I have eaten in my 56 years on this earth. Quite the gush I know but once you have tasted their smash burger you'll understand. We live over 2 hours away and we will most definitely be back soon.
The burgers we ordered (Chicago and Manhatten) were excellent! Great flavour, unique toppings and huge portions. Homemade soup (Loaded Potato ) was hearty and great flavour. Friendly, attentive staff. Only comment I would have about the restaurant is that there was no music playing in the background. I would have preferred to have some kind of Softly playing music. It's set up like an old 1950s diners so 50s music would have been very appropriate. It's definitely something I could live with though and we will for sure be back again.
My son and I had a great late lunch experience here. The friendly owner made sure we were comfortable and accomodated at all times. The food was really good. I got the classic smash burger, poutine and my son got the hotdog. That smash burger was fresh, crispy edges and still med in the center. The poutine was also really fantastic. My son enjoyed his meal very much too and even asked for seconds. So glad to have this spot open up in Lindsay.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Road Trippers, and I can't say enough good things about this place! The friendly and helpful staff made us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. Their welcoming attitude and attentive service truly set the tone for a fantastic dining experience. The food at Road Trippers is simply amazing. Whether you're craving a juicy burger or a hearty breakfast, you won't be disappointed. Every dish we tried was cooked to perfection, bursting with flavor, and offered at great prices. Even during busy times, the food is absolutely worth the understandable wait. One of the standout features of Road Trippers is their updated booths. The new booths are a beautiful touch to the classic diner atmosphere, making it a great place to relax and enjoy your meal. Road Trippers is a welcome addition to the downtown area, bringing a refreshing change with its excellent food and is quickly going to become our families go to spot. If you haven't been yet, go- you won't regret it!
Went to the newly minted Road Trippers Diner on Sunday for lunch and it was FAAANTASTIC! (We fell in love with their food truck last summer and were THRILLED that they now have a brick & mortar restaurant in the heart of Lindsay) I live with three kinds of arthritis and was delighted to find the restaurant is completely accessible - no stoop/stairs in the entryway, accessible parking right out front, and washrooms are all accessible! The staff were lovely - engaging, friendly and ready to help at a moment's notice, and the food was out of this world! Everything you'd hope for at a handmade local dinner - heaping portions of fresh cut fries, delicious gravy and the cutest retro atmosphere. The smash burger is one of the best I've ever tried (crispy edges, two oowey gooey smashed patties, absolutely DELISH!) and my hubby had the Chicken & Waffle sandwich and it was out of this world. If you're going for breakfast, be sure to get there before NOON, otherwise, get to know their tasty lunch menu - you won't regret it!!! I've posted pics of the menu so you can plan ahead (highly recommend the lug nuts as an appetizer & the airbags for dessert!!)
Were happy to check the diner out on just day 2 after the launch - loved the new retro red leather booths! Excited to see all the changes as they continue to roll out! We decided to have lunch so we shared the Chicago Burger with side garden salad as well as the Chicken and Waffles! The burger was juicy and delicious and had an amazing amount of mozzarella! The honey Mustard sauce was a delicious surprise on the chicken and waffles and tasted great with the peameal amd syrup! Looking forward to trying out all the unique menu items and specials! Wishing the new owners Chris and Claudia the best of luck in this new endeavor of bringing new tastes and experiences to Lindsay! The wait staff are so friendly and seem to know so many regulars by name too!
I absolutely love this place. The breakfast is good, but if its your first time definitely consider coming by for lunch. I would highly recommend the chicken and waffles!
Super friendly staff. Always feel so welcome when we come. Nice local diner feel with new breakfast options regularly.
Best Smash Burgers in town! Service super friendly and on point.
I love this spot. Drop in for a great breakfast before Saturday shopping. Staff are friendly food is great and price point is fair. A great spot
Favorite dinner in Lindsay! They make the BEST shredded home fries, eggs, bacon where cooked perfectly and the white bread was so good. 10/10 love them so much they also have a stamp system so if you come back you get a free meal.
The service is always amazing and so is the food! The restaurant has such a cute and cozy atmosphere, we always love coming here for breakfast and lunch. Reasonable prices and delicious meals, Claudia and Chris have worked hard to make this a fantastic place to dine and it shows!
Amazing service (Mary) and the Bronco burger was fantastic!
Good food and service
Granddaughter and I go for breakfast. We always enjoy the service.
Excellent food, service, and quality.. will definitely be back!
Owners are very friendly, were very accommodating to my young children. The food was delicious too! If you haven t been here you should give it a try.
Food sucked not good tasted like crap not homemade had onion soup and egg salad sand very discusting also had sausage on a bun with fries not great either wont be back also waitress taking orders on machine slow be better to write it down saw a lady walk out cause of poor service.yes lady was new but other lady asked her a question and shook her head said she would find out herself from the customer slow slow slow can see more people walking out
Great food and service
Great service.
Had the smash burger. Honestly best burger Ive ever had in my life. Poutine is amazing as well would eat there daily
Best breakfast place in Lindsay hands down! We cant wait to try for other meals and will be back for dinner soon!
Chicken and waffles.... DELICIOUS!
The scrambled eggs looked like an infilled omelette. The sausages were wrinkled from cooking them in deep fat( very dark and unappetizing) They were overcooked! I think the cook needs lessons on preparing a more wholesome, less greasy breakfast. Surely it can t be too hard to make fluffy eggs and grill sausages! We will never go back.
nice place
If I could give less than 1 star, I would. We walked in & there was no sign to say wait to be seated or take a seat. We stood there for 10 minutes before anyone even acknowledged that we were there. When we tried to make eye contact, the servers would look away and avoid eye contact. Then the wait for food was incredibly ridiculous for breakfast food that doesn t take long to cook. The one positive is that they brought my daughter strawberries & a cookie while we waited. When the food finally came, it was not great. My daughter ordered pancakes with chocolate chips, and bacon. There were no chocolate chips, and there was no bacon. When we asked about it, and they brought the bacon out, it looked like it was straight out of a crematorium. My MILs hash browns were burnt, the pea meal was rubbery/chewy, the English muffins were soggy. We were there over an hour waiting on food, almost 2 before we left. The owner or manager was not kind when we did complain. She was defensive, and made up excuses. I wouldn t be surprised if she s never worked a customer service job in her life. Apparently a table of 10 was the reason for the delay. The only thing she did right was comp the meals. We will never return back here.
Good everything only thing is fries are to salty
We decided to try Road Trippers for breakfast. I had the french toast, which on the menu states it is topped with fresh fruit. When it arrived there was one lonely strawberry! I mentioned to the server that the menu says it is served with fresh fruit. She asked if I would like more fruit and I said yes, please. I was given 3 more strawberries and 5 blueberries. Not what I was expecting. The french toast was better than what is usually served at restaurants. My husband s bacon and eggs with shredded potatoes were ok. Overall we felt the descriptions on the menu were deceiving.
Awesome breakfast for a good price ...bronco burger was tasty and huge .. definitely recommend
Service was slow for meh food. The server didnt ask what kind of potatoes I wanted with my order and what I got was mushy and bland. The bacon was undercooked, the sausage was overcooked. It took over half an hour to get our food, and then we had to wait again to pay our bill.
Food was under cooked (raw bacon) and lacked flavor. Server seemed very frustrated and unhappy. Will not be going back. Food
We got Road Trippers Diner to cater our staff party. Everything was great and the staff loved all the food. They were very flexible and such a pleasure to work with. Will definitely use them again and would highly recommend. Looking forward to going to the restaurant.
When this was Country Kitchen it was my favourite breakfast spot . This new Restaurant has poor atmosphere, our food order was wrong and the food we did get was not cooked properly. The attire was not to code and one man that worked there kept shuffling around in his crocks and didn t look professional. I m very disappointed the country kitchen is gone as I won t be going back.
First time eating here, Food was amazing, plentiful and the waitress was incredible Food
This place is absolutely amazing. The service is fast, the staff are friendly. And the new owners are wonderful and delightful. The amount of food, and the flavor is insane. As a repeat customer you really need to try the Smash Burgers, the Bayou Bird , the Chicken and Waffles obviously the fries and the soup.
Great service, amazing food. Definitely heading back to try all their burgers out!
Excellent food, excellent service! Great prices! I had the Savannah Chicken & Waffle, best sandwich ever!!! I highly recommend this diner! You have to try it!!
Great food and atmosphere. Amazing experience. Will definitely go back! Great job Claudia and Chris
Very clean diner. Owners and staff are very friendly. Cook is amazing. With special orders we asked for. Very accommodation to our needs . Food
Came here for Mother s Day, the staff were amazing, food was so good! The owner even came out to make sure we were taking care of ! Definitely will be back
Mother s Day Breakfast was excellent! The French Toast was amazing! Pancakes were big and fluffy and the breakfast bagel was loaded with eggs, bacon and cheese! You definitely get your moneys worth as the portions are huge! We will definitely be back to check out the lunch menu!
Food was amazing. Great portions are easily shareable and reasonably priced! Locally owned with small town charm! Definitely include this Diner on your next Road Trip
Owners told couple, who were regulars for a long time before new owners, to go to Judys or somewhere else if they want breakfast. Older couple did not know they didnt have all day breakfast anymore. I witnessed this, the new owner was incredibly rude and it was embarrassing to the couple as well. I suggest not to go to this restaurant, ever. I used to go every Saturday. I will never go there again. 5 stars I gave was for the service and food only !
Excellent food and service. Will be my go to place When Im in Lindsay.
We love that now we can get your delicious food in two places! And thoroughly enjoyed our lunch today
The Food is Fantastic, the servers and owners are amazing people. Today being first day was a little crazy with a bit of a wait but well worth it.
5 of us came on Sunday everything potato was undercooked there was hair in and on my buddies food wasn t impressed The owner was snarky and rude Food
The potatoes meh at best. The eggs. Meh. Not very impressed with the quality of the food. However the wait staff was phenomenal super friendly super helpful and really hold this place together
So happy to have another place to enjoy road trippers food. I love the additions to the menu especially the shredded hash browns with onions The owners are super friendly and you can tell just how much they love what they do. This will for sure become my go to breakfast spot
A new hidden gem! The food is FANTASTIC, the service is PHENOMENAL, and the vibe is on point! I highly recommend this diner to everyone, worth the road trip
Best pancakes in Lindsay
Had a fantastic lunch at the diner. Food and service was incredible. We will 100% be back again.
My fiance and I tried this gem out for breakfast this weekend and were not disappointed. They had the most flavourful hollandaise I have EVER had! So many delicious options, we tried the eggs benedict (obviously), bacon and egg on a bagel, chocolate chip pancakes, the tail pipes and the strawberry airbags. Everything was perfect, and the owners were lovely to speak with. They have only been open a week but you could barely tell. Very professional and clean. Will definitely be back soon!
