My family has been coming to Teriyaki town since they opened & we love joining friends and colleagues for lunches and dinners. If you are in or around Lindsay - please stop in and enjoy some of the freshest sushi ! Vegetarian options: Lots of great vegetarian options! Parking: Lots of parking! Kid-friendliness: The owners are fantastic! They will provide cutlery for the little ones & my kids favourite - the cheat chop sticks ! High chairs too! This is my children s favourite sushi restaurant!

Food is amazing! Unfortunately the hours are so sporadic and even when its supposed to be open they havent been so I havent ordered in a while. Theres been plenty of times Ive googled hours, or drove up just to find out they arent open and had to go elsewhere so Ive just stopped trying. Owners are fantastic and friendly. If you see them open, definitely give it a try.

I ordered a 4 piece fried chicken (2 original & 2 spicy) with potatoes wedges tonight. I expected fried chicken, like a drum stick and thigh kinda thing. And boy was I surprised when I opened up my dinner and it was 4 wings. 2 drums and 2 flats. For $16.95 + tax?! 4 wings?! Like they were very good. And very tasty and the the wedges were amazing ( you get 5 I believe) but for the price, I was really expecting regular size fried chicken pieces. So, all in all, still hungry and now out $20 bucks for a snack. Lol 3 stars because the portions are ridiculously small.

Im kind of shocked to be honest. The food was wildly overpriced considering the portion sizes. The chicken stir fry dinner cost $25.99 and doesnt come with anything other than the stiryfry itself. The food was lukewarm and very bland, other than the noodles in the Vege stir fry which were incredibly over seasoned with nutmeg of all things. The sushi plate we ordered clearly had been sitting around all day, no way it was made to order. 2 stir fry dinners (shame on us for assuming the $25 price tag meant you got a small side soup or salad along with them, but nope), sushi plate, and an order of spring rolls came to over $80 for pickup. We took the risk and ultimately were incredibly disappointed.

Great little restaurant with great food, excellent service and reasonable prices. Only drawback is the small seating area. Worth trying out if you have a craving for Japanese/Korean style food.

I was excited for the Korean fried chicken (which was excellent) but the potato wedges were next level! I dont usually eat the fries that accompany a main but these wedges were as good as the fried chicken! Owner was as lovely a person as advertised.

Best sushi I have ever eaten! My only complaint is the portions are smaller then they use to be and its pricey. I would love to be able to afford to eat there more. We go a couple times a year as a treat but always enjoy it very much!

I wont be back. A family of 4, diet coke, Sapporo, two kids orange juices 3 rolls, 6 gyoza, Edamame, and 7 piece fried chicken with wedges came to $144 with tax and tip. The prices are way out of touch with the food. The rolls were very thinly sliced fish and they fill the rolls with a lot of tempura. Two small lumps of wasabi. The reviews and pics left me with a different expectation.

Im a regular at Teriyaki Town. When I feel like a fresh, whole food meal, all exquisitely put together and served up with thoughtful attention, when I feel like topping up my quota of healthy foods for another week, I go to Teriyaki Town. An overall lovely experience. Dietary restrictions: Im sensitive to wheat, dairy and too much sugar. No worries here! I can eat most items on the menu. What a relief!

Great service and food. We had Agedashi tofu, kimchi, red dragon, spicy California, and spicy Lindsay rolls... all were excellent. Servers were polite and attentive. We will return soon.

This restaurant was absolutely amazing. The service was fabulous, very friendly and attentive. The food was absolutely perfect, fresh, delicious, and beautiful presentation. This has to be the best sushi I have had in Lindsay. Only reason for 4 stars is I agree with other reviews of it being pricey in comparison with other restaurants of its type. I have been to many in various towns. If googled allowed to do 4.5 stars that is the rating I would of given since everything else was perfect. Would definitely go here again and highly recommend giving it a try!

Canadian/Chinese style basic sushi. Very dry and flakey. Not made with the kind of craft and attention that Japanese and Koreans put into their sushi.

The food was decent they have a very limited food selection on menu. Its very small restaurant. Their food is over priced.

Well...food was good, if you like Sushi....then came the surprise change to the menu with a new website stating: We are pleased to announce we will be replacing our sushi bar with Fusion Bento. Was good while it lasted, however there will be no reason to go to this restaurant in future due to the new changes. If you go back to what you were good at, please let us know.

Overpriced, and found a WORM in my edamame... called and told them about it, and they told me next time I order they would take care of the edamame off my next order... would would have been 2$ seeing as that was the price of the edamame! I was so angry and upset I never ordered from them again but I would have considered it if they just gave me a full refund. Poor management and customer service on their end. Do NOT recommend this place.

Hands down BEST SUSHI around!!!!

My fiance took me here for a random date night recently. I was pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere. It was a full house but it was still spaced out well enough that I never got too uncomfortable, obviously because of COVID. The food was pricey but Im happy to pay for quality food. I really enjoyed my Deluxe Yakisoba. It was a little bit of everything and it was delicious. Our server was incredibly personable as was the owner who came by to speak with us. High recommend for anyone looking for a night out, good food, and good people. Well be back.

Teriyaki Town offers fresh and delicious sushi that, if given the chance, I would eat every day! Angie is incredible and has a memory like no other. I dare you to order once and she will remember your preference forever! I wish every town could experience the great food and great service that Teriyaki Town offers.

We had dinner here with our two young children yesterday and were so pleasantly surprised by the ambiance, the kind and prompt service and the absolutely delicious sushi and other menu items. The only complaint one could have about this amazing restaurant is the value for money. We are used to all-you-can-eat sushi and while the presentation at Teriyaki Town is far superior the quality of the food is the same as our favourite all-you-can-eat. My advice would be to come with a modest appetite and enjoy the delicious food and relaxing experience!

I am a sushi lover and would have never expected anything like this outside of the big cities or Japan - it is truly good fresh creative food and the service is very supportive and welcoming. If you are a sushi lover this is a must try - you won t be disappointed!

I would highly recommend this restaurant. The staff was very pleasant, the food was absolutely delicious, and not to mention the presentation of the food was beautiful. The only criticism I might have is its a little pricey, but I suppose thats expected if you want such quality.

5/5 for flavour, 2/5 for price has netted me at 3 stars. Delicious food, amazing presentation and a wonderful atmosphere. Portion sizes were smaller than anticipated based off of history with Toronto, Ottawa, New York and others - inclusive of competition in Peterborough. This is not a supersize me remark, however rolls no thicker than an adult thumb will set you back $10 to $14 dependant on choice. For hungry adults, cost did not reflect the size unfortunately. Commentary does not compare this to the buffets or takeout downtown Lindsay that also sell sushi, but rather to comparable establishments for food craftsmanship. Two people with a drink each, a split app, edamame and a sampling of various rolls (we had spicy tuna, red dragon, California and dynamite) can expect to pay between $60 to 100 for their meal depending on food/drink selection. The same price would serve four people in Peterboroughs East City. Taste is wonderful though; very fresh, expertly made. Would go again, but not in the immediate future given price point.

Ive been here twice, the food is excellent and so is the service. I highly recommend! Attire: casual or dress up for any occasion.

My first time here, I dropped by for some takeout. Its a small, slightly upscale type of place with friendly staff. The sushi is very tasty, but I found the portions to be small and expensive. Its probably not fair to compare, but In Vancouver I could have purchased the same things for a third of the price.

I come here for lunch and usually get a bento box. It is so delicious, good variety and the price isnt too bad. Pricey yes but I think its worth it. Sushi is made with love.

Delicious bento box meal. Went during lunch and picked up the Maki Bento box for $16.99. Before the Bento box came out we got a small salad and miso soup. The Bento box itself came with 5 Pieces of Dynamite Rolls, 3 Pieces of Spicy Salmon Rolls, 3 Pieces of California Rolls 2 small spring rolls (bonus?)and 3 Pieces of Gyoza (fried). The garnishes were very nice and added to the quality of the meal. Service was very quick and I would come back here again.

Don t judge this book by the cover. From a mediocre strip mall on the outside to a peaceful and attentive dining experience on the inside. Food was fantastic, service was more than adequate and the ambiance was spot on. Highly recommend Teriyaki Town. As we sat in a room of 6 or so happy tables, there was quite honestly 8 or more take out orders on the go....

Teriyaki Town are by far and away the best sushi around.....and I dont just mean in Lindsay. Always fresh and perfectly plated, Angie and Isaac take pride in their work and food at a level rarely seen in the restaurant industry. Dont be fooled by all you can eat sushi gimmicks out there, this place is the best kept secret in town.

Friendly service and new renovation looks great. Change in the menu though, I assume to be more Lindsay friendly (not as knowledgeable about traditional ethnic food or willing to try new things). I enjoyed items off the new menu and missed some that were on the old menu. The dynamite roll and spicy salmon roll were awesome:) Beautiful food presentation!

Loved it - was passing through town and craving some sushi/Japanese food. Found these guys by chance on a google search for teriyaki. My young kids usually hate anything that isnt plain white pasta or regular old bread - they loved the food (not all of it, but they indeed tried many different items - very unlike them). Not the cheapest, but not expensive either - food was very good quality. Service was efficient with a smile. Great experience!

Amazing customer service best sushi Ive ever had the prices are kinda meh but really amazing sit down or take out restaurant guarantee you wont be dissapointed. Although its not all you can eat I really hate the lay out of the other sushi place in town because you cant relax because you can always hear the kitchen staff yelling and it feels like theres no privacy there always watching.
