Been to a few Firehouse Sub locations, and have to say this one in Lindsay is by far the BEST. Superior front end service, clean and the food was fresh and delicious. Great effort from the staff. Definitely recommend a visit!
Have never been to Firehouse Subs . Such a wide variety of subs that I found it hard to choose. I chose the club on a sub and my husband chose the Italian. They were huge, made with fresh buns, good quality meats and no skimping on toppings. It was was very busy and the girl who was on cash and also working behind the sandwich counter, I believe her name was Ali, brought us our food, apologized for the wait and took the time to make well crafted sandwiches. I could only finish half. We will be definitely be back.
Every visit to Firehouse Subs is a success. I would take Firehouse Subs over any sub joint any day as the quality and quantity will never compare to others. You never have to pay for extra cheese, meat, etc as they put more than enough first go. The service, staff and management from my perspective is absolutely great. Everyone is very kind and helpful. All this being said is not speaking from one visit but multiple. A big game changer for me is the gluten free bun choice as I have celiac. Best part is they are one of the best gluten free buns I have come across yet. Definitely recommend Firehouse Subs to anyone who hasn’t tried it.
We have been going to firehouse subs since it opened in Lindsay amd would recommend it in a heart beat. We can't even go to the other sub restaurants anymore. Can't beat Firehouse. We had an issue once that was cleared up quickly. I do wish that you could add fresh produce on the subs when using an offer though 😊 Would recommend the Hero, my fave!!

Firehouse never disappoints on the taste and level of customer service. Our first visit to this location and it really stands out above and beyond others for friendliness. The young woman taking orders this afternoon should especially be commended for that. Actually spoke to another customer outside about how unusual that is these days. Keep up the good work!
I’ve eaten here quite a few times already and I have nothing but great things to say about it. Food portions are unreal and the store is very kept clean/tidy. All the staff are very friendly. Last night I had an issue with the app and the manager Manav promptly resolved the issue and provided great customer service. Easy 5/5 highly recommend eating at this establishment .
Kid loved the fireman helmet. Had the engineer and hero both were excellent. Great tasting.

Its fresh and tasty,but after grand opening,the amount of sauce(Beef Brisket) has been reduced,and the taste has changed.
The subs were amazing. Bread tasted fresh baked, generous amount of turkey and the dill sauce was a lovely complement to the sub
Although he subs are expensive they are the best subs you can get. The brisket is a favorite go to but the steak and several other are too notch amazing subs. Its hard to beat the brisket though.
Pretty ignorant that this restaurant owner would make the choice to exclude an important faction of the towns essential service employees during a promotion. Word will spread, and likely so will affect business adversely
Food is great (expensive but a nice treat) and the staff were very friendly. This location is highly understaffed. Waiting 20 plus minutes for a sub is crazy, but nothing else the staff can do. One person only in the kitchen and one running back and forth to serve customers.
What a nice surprise! We visited today for lunch and my family enjoyed 4 different subs and all thoroughly enjoyed. Service was friendly, courteous and quite fast. Very enjoyable. Good job Firehouse Subs Lindsay !

They have gluten free options on the menu, but never seem to stock gluten-free buns. This is very disheartening since dietary restrictions often get over looked. They have been out for more than 4 months.
Very friendly staff and good subs
There are only two staff there and the one behind the counter goes to the assembly line kitchen as soon as he gets the order. Despite asking if there is anyone taking the order because multiple ppl are waiting in line, he insists on finishing one order and then take another one. We had a group of 5 people and it took us a whole 30-40 minutes. I thought the whole point of having an assembly line is the team can increase efficiency.

Staff were fine, not really friendly but not rude. Very flat service. They were out of many soft drinks, only had sprite and coke. Food was good, but seemed thrown together, and lacking sauce. Ive gone to others and its never looked as messy as this time did, but with a drop of sauce. (We were the only ones in the store with still adleast 2h till close so they shouldnt have been in a rush) Anyways overall it was good just lacking presentation and customer service. The store was very clean and new as expected.

Very similar to another review on here, I was quite disappointed with my order for lunch. Ill preface by saying it tasted fine and it was perfectly edible, just not for $19. The cashier was also very friendly and welcoming. It seemed quickly thrown together even with me being the only customer in the store, everything was piled in the middle of the sub and was very much lacking sauce. The ingredients seemed less fresh than Im used to at other locations (in mid-summer, mind you), especially the bread. I also felt pretty strongly about the obvious microwave-ready bacon they used (pale, floppy, looks like someone drew a strip of bacon kinda stuff) - Tim Hortons even has better bacon at this point. My biggest complaint was the amount. Every Firehouse Ive been to has always overloaded your sub to the point that it gets soggy after like 15 minutes if you dont eat it and leaves very little to be desired. I felt like I received maybe 1/2 to 2/3 the normal amount of meat, asked for a pickle on the side that wasnt there, and an additional topping I asked for had about one bites worth. Right off the bat after picking it up, it was noticeably lighter in weight than Ive ever had. The FreeStyle coke machine was even out of a number of flavours and although I got a regular Coke, it was watered down. I figured this was a sure bet for lunch with this location opening last month. It just feels like its par for the course with any franchised chain restaurant at this point. Cost-cutting is priority number 1, so yet again I have to avoid another treat myself lunch option because the value and/or quality is just simply not there. Im tired, man...

First of all, I ordered my subs on the app. I showed up the time the app told me. When I got there, I had to wait another 25 minutes. I would understand if there was a lot people there, but there was 2 other people. We got our subs, and they were extremely greasy. Peterborough Firehouse on Lansdowne Street is 1000% better

Absolutely the best sub I have ever had!! Lots of meat and phenomenal flavours!! Very clean dining area and extremely courteous staff. You are going to pay a little more for your sub but you will not be disappointed . Fantastic!! We will return!!
