Ordered $55 in food. For delivery. Told 40-45 mins. I called after 55mins & was told theyre just cooking it now. Owner said we busy.. so busy. Thats not my problem. She doesnt speak English very well, trying to explain. Like it was my fault! Never again. Service

Havent been here to eat in forever. The food was still great, but $130 for 2 adults and a child. Thats more expensive than Mandarin!!!

Had people waiting well over an hour for their scheduled pick ups. No apologies or discounts offered. Don t waste your time as they clearly don t value it.

We ordered our food from the all you can eat menu and had to wait for over an hour to receive some dishes. We didn t not receive all our orders and the portion sizes were small.

Worse food Ive ever eaten, everything had so much batter on it you couldnt taste what it was covering up owner is very rude when you complain about the food.

Highly disappointed with service and lack of care towards my order. I placed an order for BBQ pork slices but instead of the $13.00 worth of pork I got about $8.00 in broccoli that was never mentioned in this pork item and about $3.00 in pork. First and last time ordering from here.

Owner charged dinner price for lunch. We were there before 3 and she never let us know it was dinner price. No times posted. She says she told the other table but not ours. I have been a regular there for over 12 years, I have told a lot of people about this place. No more. I will go elsewhere.

Well we have ordered several times since coming to lindsay and was really pleased, today my daughter visited and we ordered completely disaster we spent $75 dollars snd did not get the right order. We phoned and my daughter could here in the background they called her an f ing lyer i phoned back and asked to speak to the manager I did and explained she said we were liars we got the right food I am so devasted that a business could act like this. I will not let this rest why could they not resolve this by saying okay we will come and check it out I have the bill I can show you that you gave us the wrong order delivered but instead all this hassle. Very very poor business. We are so mad how we can be treated like this . I do not know were we go to fight this but I definitely will find out. I will not let this go I will not be taken for money like this and degusting insults..

WORST FOOD AND SERVICE EVER Just came back from Lindsay after visiting my mother in her new apartment in town. Not too happy with the dinner that she ordered. It cost my mother over $75 and when we called to tell them that food was missing from the bag the young woman who answered the phone, thought it was OK to call me and my mother on the phone and I quote fn liars . What kind of business in Lindsay gets good reviews from customers? I don t understand that when you called to complain and ask for the food that s missing from your bag to be delivered and you re called a liar and yelled at on the phone and the owner doesn t even bother still too phone my mother back nor did my mom get a refund for the items missing or a credit on her account they hung up and did nothing. Totally disgusted with this restaurant.

Used to come here all the time. We went yesterday and the service was atrocious. There was not one table sat in the whole restaurant, and about 10 people standing around waiting for take out orders. When asked, we told them we wanted to dine in, and they sat us at a table. The owners then started yelling at each other, and then one of them came over to ask if we had made a reservation which I thought was strange since the place was empty. Then the owners were yelling at each other again and one of them came back and told us to leave because all of a sudden they are too busy and are closed for dine in service? How can you treat your customers like this? We were in no rush and understand that food will be slow to come out if its busy. But flat out telling us to leave? Wow.

Called and placed order at 1:30pm to have delivered for 5:30. At 5:55 phoned and asked where my order was and was told it would be another 15-20mins the delivery guy hasn t picked it up yet, so I drove down to pick it up and food wasn t there and delivery magically picked it up within 10mins. Worst service ever.

Would have rated higher, but they forgot the plum and soy sauces, etc. Food however was good.

Absolutely amazing experience first time at O.K and the sushi was out of this world and they had real chopsticks too!! I Felt like i was in Japan when i came here with my friend thank you for the lovely food and your service was a blessing to have i will be back for date night

The food was very good . But for me to have to call the restaurant because our server had disappeared to the back for almost 30 minutes without checking on us or anything is a little ridiculous. Next time I think I may just do takeout because the dine in experience might as well be equivalent to McDonalds.

Was not impressed with the food and for $90 for two people we sure felt ripped off. Not a veggie dish included in the buffet options. Won t go back.

Finally got around to trying O.K. and found it to be a delicious place for Sushi! I had the Maki 3 (spicy california roll and spicy crab meat crispy roll) and Maki 5 (mango crab meat roll and dynamite roll) and all four were really delicious with fresh ingredients. The spicy rolls had a good kick to them. I was very impressed with how well rolled they were, which made them easier to eat, as they didnt fall apart. Also tried the cream cheese crab wonton and they are some of the best Ive ever had. We also ordered some Chinese dishes and I was told they were quite good as well. Looking forward to trying more!

Details of my experience,this time was Horrible I never complain I love the honey garlic ribs from there but tonight they where rock hard. I called to see if I could get a credit or a replacement. The replacement I was told I could have two egg rolls when I disagree with that was told honey garlic ribs were expensive and her husband was doing the cooking. And they throughout the bad food. When I said I want the ribs replaced or a credited, l was told not to order from them any more. If this is how you treat customers I am amazed you still have a business when it cost you so much to make each item. When it costs 14.95 for me to replace what maybe 3 dollars for you So like you told me never ordered from you

Clean place nice lady, terrible food, greasy refried food, rice was hard and crunchy and looked like it was someone s old rice mixed in and refried, not good, this was lunch time, $50 bucks with 2 pops, terrible food, something isn t adding up, none of it was fresh. Tiny sliver of shrimp in tempura shrimp, this is the worst in town for flavour and value. Good service old gross food. Do not recommend. Need to change the oil in fryer, batter has that very old oil taste, yuk, had upset stomach for 3 days after eating here.

Ive visited a few times and had the same result. The owner was confronted when I was given food I didnt order. The time waited for food was over an hour, with me being the only one in the place and no take orders were being placed. The rice is overcooked, and the quantity of the sushi is not worth the money.

Ordered from this restaurant as it was the only Chinese restaurant open Mondays for delivery. Ordered 6 items and all were excellent . Chicken balls had a generous piece of chicken in them. A free bag of wontons and 2 egg rolls provided. Quick courteous delivery. $69 cost reasonable as 6 ample servings .

They tell everyone the same time that their food will be ready so you have 5-6 people waiting in this small restaurant all at once, tonight they said 45 mins and I had to wait a extra 40 mins when I got there. I don t like making a fuss but tonight I did and the owner ignored me and just handed me my food without any sort of professional apology . When I got home I had items missing so this review was needed. Won t be going back

Service is cold and short. No one cares about the service, if you try to ask the only answer you get is were busy I get it, but youre still a business in control of managing your customers expectations. When told 30 mins for pick up, and showed up 40 mins later they havent even started my order. Ive been waiting outside over 40 minutes since. Food is usually half decent, for Lindsay. Sometimes a little cold but we can get over that. The hard part is that they NEVER answer the phone when trying to place orders, dosnt matter what time you try and call.

Ordered takeout for delivery. The wrong items were sent (rice instead of pork strips). When called was told sorry I wrote that down wrong even after it was repeated back to me. Was then told they wouldn t do anything about it. This is unacceptable and bad business. In a time when every dollar means a lot, you just stole $10 from us. Another customer who will never be back.

Always fresh and hot! We have had several trues with Chinese in Lindsay and this is our favorite by far.

Nice quiet spot, food was delicious and there was so much of it. The selection of sushi was nice too, so many to try!

The customer service is awful. Even if the food was okay, the customer service is the reason I will never be returning. The owner has a horrible attitude and doesn t understand how to treat people to make them want to return.

Honestly, the restaurants name might even be an overstatement. It was overall OK at best. The food was obviously made cheap, with the maximum amount of rice/crispy bits and minimum amount of meats. We only ordered on two AYCE sheets, and they werent exactly heavy orders, yet it took nearly two hours to receive all of our food. Our server was rarely around, even when it came time for the bill, which we got about 15 minutes after we finished despite being the only customers left. If I had to find a positive note, the atmosphere was quiet and clean. Despite a decent AYCE price, I would not recommend eating here.

We have bought from the OK several times now since it was bought by the new owners. We have done take out as eat in has not been available with COVID. The food has been fresh, hot and very good portions. We ordered tonight for 6, and it being New Years Day they were very busy and there was a longer wait for pick up. It was worth the wait again the food was fresh, hot and generous. If you are willing to order and pick up 30 or so mins later it is well worth it.

Fresh and very good food. Never had a problem. They always put in a few free stuff and a discount if you pay cash. New owners are great. Very clean environment as well.

Surprisingly good sushi found in Lindsay! Great selection of maki rolls and delicious tempura. Everything tasted great and prices seemed reasonable! Order for takeout and it was even plated nicely in the takeout dish

By far the worse custom service ever!!! The manager or owner who ever she was, started yelling at my mom. We phoned to place an order for our take out at 4:41pm we were told an hour, we phone and then we were told it would take another 45 mins. The food was so disappointing, This will be the last time I ever eat or order from again !

The search is over finally!!!! If you want good all you can eat sushi at good prices in a (and this is saying something from the majority of sushi places) CLEAN and friendly staffed restaurant. Not only is it clean but it has a nice ambiance. Our new favorite place!

Delicious sushi I get almost once a week!

Absolutely awful service, and it came with a lot of attitude from the one lady. Food was cold and only half of what we ordered came. Argued with us and made us pay for food that was cold and disgusting/freezer burnt tasting, was blamed on us for not eating and charged to us. Used a busy excuse for why food took so long and some never came, meanwhile at max was only 2-3 tables at one time. Will never refer to anyone or be back again. 100% recommend going elsewhere unless you want disgusting food and service.

Me and my girlfriend planned on having a sushi date tonight and ordered in approximatley 40$ worth of rolls and sushi from O.K restaurant after picking up and opening are order .much to are amazement half of the order was incorrect. We called the store and they just informed us that due to covid no compensation or returns would be avalaible and that in order to get our correct food we would need to place an additional order ,spending yet more money and time they then proceeded to try and threaten my girlfriend with the fact that they have her credit card information and they left the call at insulting her/us on the amount of food we ordered .all this for mediocre sushi at best , avoid the poor customer service and neglectful treatment of customers from this establishment!

Best Sushi in Kawartha Lakes. I have had a lot of sushi and prefer Korean style. I gave up on eating good sushi in Lindsay, but decided to try OK tonight and was totally happy with my Green Dragon roll and Volcano roll which is a fried tempura roll, which is in the more modern style. And they nailed both of them. So OK has a new loyal customer in me.

Its hard to find good sushi, OK is by far the best quality in Lindsay.

I Got Food Poisoning Twice Food was very tasty.. HOWEVER....both times I tried eating from here I got food poisoning. The first time I wasnt sure if it was the food from O.K giving me food poisoning, so I tried it again a couple months later and pin pointed it was because of the food here. It saddens me that this happened.

I love O.K. The food is great. The problem is that the owner is kind of mean, but she gets nicer once she gets to know you.

We placed an order at noon on Mothers Day for 530 pick up. When we arrived there were 15 ppl waiting for their orders also. Didnt finally get order till 630. Very disappointing The sushi were ok as the rolls were small and fell apart when you picked them up

Sure is not OK service. I always got takeout because it was right down the street from my house food was always OK. I got my regular dish and asked for 2 packs of hot sauce which they always give me. The guy looked at me like I was from a different planet then mumbled something in Chinese to the other guy and the other worker started laughing like he was making fun of me in Chinese. Then finally the guy throws his hands up and gets the packs of hot sauce. What a joke to treat you loyal customers like that is unbelievable. I will not go back and suggest anyone else not to go unless they want to get treated that way.

If you ever get to try the food, its pretty good... but good luck with that. Ive lived across this beautiful country and Ive never encountered a business that so often, puts their phone off the hook to AVOID business. Call to place an order, any time of day and you can expect to get a busy tone. Its maddening. Why have a phone number to call and place an order if you cant consistently answer the phone, to accept orders?

I WAS a loyal customer for about 6 years, getting my lunches from here once or twice a month. I always get takeout because it was right down the street from my work, food was always consistent (not amazing, not bad). They used to be good size rolls and I could get 2 lunches out of the one order Not anymore. Today - I got my regular (3 kinds sushi) and asked for a side of spicy mayo instead of soy sauce **which they Always gave me**. The guy looked at me weird, mumbled something in Chinese to the other guy and both employees laughed, like he was making fun of me. Then the guy I asked for the side of mayo from goes into the back, comes out and says I can only give you extra spicy mayo for $1 extra. Which, Im sorry but you have already increased your food prices by $4 & I was just substituting Soy for Spicy Mayo. Also, he already knew I paid him with CC so, clearly I wasnt about to charge my card for $1. I get back to my office and notice that they dont even give you soy sauce with your sushi anymore??? This place is a joke. I will not go back. Keep it up, you wont have many customers left OK Restaurant....

Worst ever i ordered at 2 50 for the lunch specials and then 30 minutes later!!!!! they called back saying they cant do the special because it was already 3 when the time said 2:49!!!!! This service should be called ok service and not ok sushi

Ive been going here for about 4 years now. I used to go for the all you can eat buffet But recently Is bought off menu. Buying off the menu will assure a much higher quality Sushi without a doubt. The Chinese food is very good I would recommend the Philadelphia roll as it has a housemaidHoney drizzle. Staff are extremely friendly and serve all needs. Highly recommend

Recently placed a takeout order was told it would be ready in 35 to 40 minutes when I arrived there were 3 people ahead of me also waiting for takeout all of us standing outside in the rain because there was also 2 people inside waiting not impressed with this kind of service at all

Food is delicious. Customer service is something else. I ordered my food at 3:20 On the phone to pick up at 5:00pm. I had to wait 55 minutes when I arrived.

I prefer OK to the other places in town.

We have enjoyed the food from here for several years, BUT lately not so great. The female owner has been very rude lately and not grateful for the business during this COVID time. The food is not the same high quality either. We always ordered at least 2x per month, but wont any longer. Sad, but true.

Sometimes they dont come out with something you checked on the all you can eat menu but you can easily ask for it again. The food is always nice and fresh tasting. Good price for good all you can eat.

We picked up an order tonight they called us just as we got home so we made another trip back with our unopened food we got what was missing got home opened our food and more was missing we called they checked and admitted they forgot and wanted us to make a third trip or pay delivery for the missing food they refused to make it right they refused to refund us it s disappointing and the way the owner spoke to/about us on the phone was awful. Sincerely disappointed and we won t be back. Don t order from here. This wasn t the first time issues have happened and they just don t care it was our mistake to keep trying.

We come here quite often. The food is always good. But when calling for a pick up order if they say 20 minutes expect to wait longer.. they are not good at judging times for pick up orders.

As a child I went to this restaurant all of the time. I was limited on what I could eat for medical reasons but I liked it. 17 years ago I went in with my baby daughter and her father. He had buffet and I had my usual white steamed rice which I always add sweet and sour sauce to. Since he was having buffet and I only needed a tiny bit of sauce I asked them if he could get some for me at the buffet. At that point the lady started losing it on me in front of my infant daughter threatening to call the cops! I have NEVER graced their doorstep since! A simple no would have sufficed!

Ordered food to pick up at a certain yime and ended up waiting about 20 mins after the time I had requested, the food was good .

Food is good BUT do not, I repeat do not order to pickup. You will be dead before you get your food. I ordered it and had them tell me 30 mins, I must have missed heard them say 30 mins before they started it. I showed up 45 mins later just to give them a grace period and that is when they started my food. Not the first time this has happened, I ordered once at noon for pickup at 5pm so 5 hours should be enough time but again 5pm was when they started it. They should start reading there reviews and learn by them but clearly it doesnt phase them.

I enjoyed this restaurant originally... but not anymore. The last few times weve ordered take-out our order has been missing items or had incorrect items, and when were told a pickup time the order is never ready. This last time we were told 40mins... we get there and people are already waiting. We watched them START our order 1 full hour after we placed it. Other customers were also waiting and angry with the service. The restaurants excuse? We never know how busy it will get But there were people who ordered after us getting their food first... that to me says that they are incredibly unorganized and do not prioritize orders properly. Super unprofessional with incredibly bad service. I could put up with the mediocre food if the service was better. 10/10 do not recommend

First time there tonight but were drummed out.... The owner and her husband were fighting in the kitchen when we got into the the restaurant. We saw through the window that she pushed him and he kicked her and they were both screeching. The staff told them We got customers... then we heard the owner yelled Tell them go out! ....Ok fine... will never go there again for sure!

Best sushi in town! Angry dragon is definitely awesome. Never had a bad meal since the new owners took over! Give these people a chance, it s changed so much from years passed.

First time and will be the last time. I would give this place 0 star if I could. I have always tempted to try out OK Sushi but due to all of the bad reviews, Id always ended up at QQ Sushi. However, a friend of mine has insisted to try out this restaurant so we came for lunch today. The one and only waitress does not seem to be in the mood and would sometimes disappear for quite awhile. We would be waiting for at least 10 minutes every time before our orders were taken. Once the food has arrived, this same waitress - without a smile - would aggressively place it and at one point, spilled the sauce on the table. The food was sub-par, or as the name of the restaurant suggested, just ok with nothing special. The menu was boring with very limited choices if compared to QQ Sushi. A few of the special sushi rolls were very not special. The fillings were all the same, with crabmeat, prawn tempura, cucumber, and avocado. Other menu options including soups, handrolls, some grilled meat, noodles/rice, and a lot of deep fried food including deep-fried sushi. Seaweed salad is usually my favourite, however, after a few orders, the waitress told us they have run out(!?). We were 3 people and ordered three rounds of food. Some of the dishes we ordered from the first/second round has not been brought out so we reordered for the third round. What disgust us the most, is when we ordered the sushi with cheese and pineapple, it came with a taste of cockroaches. Now I know this may sound extremely bizarre, but coming from a third world country and growing up surrounded by this insect, I am very familiar with their scent. It is very strong and distinct. A bite of the piece of sushi instantly reminded me of the disgusting taste and smell of these monsters. It made me sick to my stomach and although still relatively hungry, I had no appetite for any more of their food. When my friends have finished and wanted desserts, we waited for 15-20 minutes before the waitress, who had disappeared, to return and take our orders. However, at this time, we were ready to leave and no longer wish to stay for desserts. The waitress then asked if we would like to take the leftover food home, and I have responded politely that due to the incident, I do not wish to have any more of their food. The waitress then instantly raised her voice and accused us of ordering too much and unable to finished. This was certainly not the case as we were not full nor did we even get our desserts. However, the waitress, without an apology or even an apologetic attitude, continued to blame us and demand for us to pay for the leftover food. When I repeated myself about the disgusting taste of the sushi, this waitress then heckled us as to why we did not make any comment on the same dish which she presumed that we ordered previously. I then explained to her that the dish ordered never arrived, hence the reason we reordered, not because it was so good that we wanted a second round. She then went to check the fridge and asked the sushi chef (in Chinese) to make sure we were not lying, and after the sushi chef had confirmed, she then pointed to the sushi pieces in the container box and asked which one it was, and after I pointed out, she casually put her fingers in the takeaway box that we were forced to takeout, and took out the sushi pieces. I was so sick and disgusted with both the food and the service at this point, that I just ended up paying the $6 extras for the food which I will not eat, and will never come back.

I enjoyed this place. The sushi was fresh. It was very affordable. The service was good. Not fancy but a great place to get a good meal.

Service was extremely slow, it was a bit pricey for what they offer and almost everything had green or Spanish onions in or on it.

I ordered 2 won ton soups which 1 leaked all out because the lid collapsed and the broth was so dark it was like drinking soya sauce....ordered C5 combo plate & C2 combo plate and there was NO chicken fried rice, it was all chow mein which was so salty...the wings where so small & disgusting....the rice from the C5 dish was mushy....WORST FOOD EVER!! WHAT HAPPENED to this place?? It use to be awesome!! VERY DISSATISFIED

I have been to this restaurant quite a few times.... it generally is a pretty good experience for the family.. below I will list some pros and cons Cons This past weekend our waitress forgot about the fact we had ordered more food - including ice cream so it was kinda melty... Some dishes are so salty you cant even eat them... Overall their waitressing leaves a lot to be desired Ive been charged for kids eating a full buffet meal when they have eaten just french fries...... Pros Good price Clean Better for larger groups of people (for the buffet style meals) Best cheese wontons yum

Avid sushi eater here.. Food is good, but food prep is PAINFULLY slow. After 45 minutes, didnt even get all of our food. Best in Lindsay but if youre used to a good sushi place, then this place will disappoint.

They Take Reservations Delivery: They take Credit and Cash. $5 in Lindsay, Free in Lindsay if order is over $35 (Before HST), and can be between $10-$20 for out of Town deliveries. Expect at least a 40 Minute wait time for Takeout, This is the minimum time you will be given by the person taking orders. All You Can Eat: Weekdays suppers are $18+HST and Weekends/Holidays are $20+HST. Review: I have gone in with a large group (18 people the one time) multiple times and it has always been enjoyable. It is a go to spot for me and my friends for lunch, supper and take out. General Tsos chicken, Cheese Wontons, Boston roll, Lindsay roll and the deep fried milk are to DIE for!! I highly recommend this spot. It is all you can eat, which means you order on a sheet, instead of a buffet, but it is all one price. Keep in mind on major holidays such as Christmas Eve, mothers day and New Years when it is extremely busy with takeout they sometimes refuse to do the all you can eat, but just call ahead. Please give this restaurant a chance, also keep in mind the owners are ESL.

Did not taste fresh, too much rice, inattentive staff. Not worth it

Just ordered from here for my first time and it was amazing. I ve lived here for so long and I can t believe what amazing food I ve been missing out on. Everything was fresh and hot and tasted amazing! Will definitely be my go to place from now on.

Slowest service on the planet, add at least 45 minutes to the time they provide. Name says it all food is okay.... best thing about this place is the deep fried wontons with cheese. Go to teriyaki town for decent chinese/sushi

The all you can eat sushi is OK, but not anything special. The fish portions are very small. There were only 2 tables occupied while we were there, but the service was slow and the server was difficult to find.

One of my favorite places for sushi. Always fresh and the main lady who works is wonderful. Been coming here for years. I wish to see more people helping out there as they do need it sometimes but regardless. Fresh food, and friendly service. Highly recommend the deep fried ice cream, and pork stick.

Friendly staff & great food. It is our favorite place this side of Toronto to get sushi. Great value for your money whether its off the menu or all you can eat.

I went there with my partner. the food was tasteless and cold. the fish was not fresh. poor quality food and really gross atmosphere. the employees were rude especially the server that served us. she would slam the plates at our table and didnt come over to our table even we were the only one in the restaurant. the sushi guy would itch his hair and then his nose, he did not wash his hands after which was pretty gross and not appealing. we would hear constant argument between him and the server

I honestly think this is the best all you can eat sushi spot in town. The service is always prompt and the sushi is pretty decent. I noticed they recently revamped their menu and I was pleasantly surprised.

Best sushi in Lindsay

Went here for lunch again today April 27,2018 and they still have the best Sushi,and Chinese Food in Lindsay .They have a great lunch special till 3 pm, (all u can eat Sushi for $12.99),made fresh on the spot by there own Sushi Chef,and a huge menu to choose from..The owner is so nice ,and staff is always friendly and your food is delivered in a very timely manner ..

Good food large selection...not always fresh it depends on how busy they are. Delivery is very fast

Great food but much too long of a wait. It was Mothers Day, ordered at 4 pm we were told 530 but waited another 40 minutes. Other than that it was delicious.

This is now the premier chinese restaurant in lindsay. No longer a buffet but an all you can eat ordered and made fresh including a great selection of sushi. Smaller seating area but very cozy and welcoming offers delivery and take out options Im very pleasantly surprised with my visit here and plan to begin frequenting this location for many gatherings.

If you have an abundance of patience, the food is worth the wait! The food was amazing! However the rest of the experience was quite awful. Ridiculously under staffed and waitstaff is either stressed to the max, or just have no idea how to do their job. The one poor man making/rolling all the sushi was doing a phenomenal job! Making all the sushi for a full restaurant, maintaining composure and although rushed, making perfect delicious sushi! Restaurant was fairly clean, bathrooms were clean. They have a help wanted sign up so I hope they come across good people who are willing to work hard!

Better tasting than the other sushi restaurant but slow service

It lives up to the name. The sushi tasted good, however the wait times between orders during AYCE left a terrible taste. Our group of five stayed for over two hours at the restaurant, and only received 1/2 of our total orders. We are all still confused as to where the rest of our orders ended up. Ultimately, we decided to not come back since there are many other places to get sushi in Lindsay.

I like the staff and selection here. Probably our favorite Asian buffet in Lindsay.

We have been here several times in the past 5 years. Not only us, but family as well. Everyone loves the O.K. for its hot & delicious food, many options. Very accomadating to allergies as well. I like the owner, she is on top of everything and friendly, but not too friendly.

Wish I could give zero stars. Food was decent until found a hair in it. Server kept trying to talk to useith mouth full of food it was disgusting
