Nice place to stay in Lloydminster. Carmalyn is the sweetheart waitress they have working the Rustys Grill and she's always got a big smile and hot pot of coffee ready to go every morning! Great service from her, keep go go going! :)
We were the 3rd table in the place! One waitress, 0 service ordered 3 drinks and an appy, never got the drinks, she did not know how to measure 1/3 of an ounce!! Grrr so angry! We were drinking in our room for happy hour and did not want to drive to have supper. Food was decent at Rustys but seriously the service was horrible We left and cabbed it elsewhere for our steak supper! The appy was good tho!
Really great service, friendly staff and clean. I go there to play pool, but end up eating there when we go. I had a club and it was massive. Real meat!! Worth the trip if you're looking for some where new to have a bite, or haven't been there for a while.
It was an anniversary supper for us and we decided to go someplace we have not been for a long time. I can say we won't be back for another longer time. The cook uses so much salt it is distasteful. Ordered fish chips. Hand dipped beer batter it said on menu. Very thick batter and not fully deep fried the oil must have been not hot enough to sear seal so the batter soaked up a lot of grease. Wife asked for no mushrooms on her hot hamburger. She got salty mushrooms in the extremely salty gravey paste. The gravey for the fries which was different than the patty paste and first forgotten anyway also very salty. Lumpy and not hot. The appetizer never arrived so i mentioned it and that was removed from the bill. Soup was also over salted. It is supposed to be home cooked style place so we were expecting healthy type food. I know fish and fries isn't healthy anyways and niether is gravey but add Salt salt and more Salt. OMG. Waitress was pleasent but failed to notice the errors. I would have explained during the meal but was not asked except if i wanted more ice tea which maybe helped flush away some salt with sugar water. So much for a healthy supper. It was memorable enough for the experince to last a long long time for us. Honestly, there are much better places to dine in Lloydminster. Maybe it was just the end of shift as i see the web said closed as soon as i arrived at home to post this review. $43 Way more than it should be based on quality. That is our honest observed opinion. Not sure what happened there because i remembered it as being a decent restaurant. Maybe they are more focused on video lottery terminals and bar sales than food quality now. Sad. PS Billing, The seniors one piece fish is listed as $13 bill shows $17.50 $1.50 less than $19 full regular two piece. $3.50 for a glass of on draft style tap soda pop. Gravey added as extra at $1.50 per extremely small serving cuplette like you would get at a fast food place. Oh well. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. That ain't going to happen.
I haven’t been to this establishment in several years and my god has it gone downhill. I ordered the beef dip and I am pretty sure it was served on a hot dog bun. The meat was extremely tough and dry with the cheese only 1/4 melted. I ate one bite and could not continue, it was horrible. The poutine was a 5/10. After not eating any of the beef dip I received a whopping 10% off. Still tipped the server as she was pleasant and took care of the table. Save your hard earned money and eat somewhere else.
OK! Let me tell you how my breakfast was on Saturday, June 11, 2022. I ordered, what I think was called the pancake Deluxe meal, or something like that, it basically came with two large ( now really large ) pancakes, two eggs, two pieces of meat, in this case I was going for the bacon. As a non-egg eater they were happy to substitute the eggs for two more pieces of meat in this case I chose the breakfast sausage. This meal cost $14 as well as $2.50 for a coffee, I will say in my opinion, this meal, given the portion size, would be worth at top eight dollars with the coffee. The bacon was not your standard bacon it was a flat, thick piece and I’m told either you love it or hate it in this case I hated it, they should really go back to normal standard bacon that is thin, crisp and flavorful. There was one reason and one reason only that I have given this a four star rating. His name is Tanner P. An amazing service provided by him, he was friendly, looked like he was able to delegate several different tables at the same time, and he was attentive. Good job Tanner, they used to be a lady there in the morning, she was the reason I would go, you are definitely a great substitute for her. I will be coming back to try other things, I hope the owners and your boss see this , because you deserve recognition.
Coming from a big city I had very low expectations of the city but lo and behold my hotel was attached to this lovely cozy spot. My experience was made Amazing due to this lovely server Sam, she went above and beyond welcoming me in! This is the spot to go for cold drinks, great food and Amazing service (ask for Sam)
First time eating here and was very pleasantly surprised! Place was clean with lots of cozy booths! Our waitress Carmalyn was very cheery and helpful and great service :) The food was great, you would have to hunt high and low for a better value then their All Day Breakfast! Will definitely be back!

Appalled by the way the chef yelled at the waitress he swore at and humiliated her if front of the entire restaurant. Dont think I or multiple other people who wittnessed it will be returning anytime soon.

Been staying at this hotel off and on for a few years and with the new kitchen manager the food is on point and the staff is delightful I highly recommend this place to eat and the hotel to stay at

Today was Mothers Day. Rustys had a special, all Mothers ate free, and my daughter, son in law and grand daughter took me out for breakfast. The food was very good, but our server was excellent. I do not remember her name but she is a petite young woman with blonde hair. She was efficient, happy, and very professional. All in all, our experience at Rustys was phenomenal.

This is on hwy 16 and the business is BCMI in Lloydminister on Saskatchewan side. Its a lounge and restaruant where theres good drinks/food and has VLTS for entertainment purposes. The staff are totally respectful and polite as well as friendly. Its my fav.

The complimentary breakfast is perfect! Never see crispy bacon done so well. And the dry rub jerk chicken wings special in the bar were great. Beer, nice and cold.
The service and food I had here wasnt good whatsoever. The restaurant was empty and took a good couple minutes for someone to let us know we could sit wherever we wanted. Had to wait 10 minutes for someone to get our drink order. The food was mediocre. I personally will not be returning. There are better options in Lloydminster.
Food was hot and cooked to order, tasted great and portion size was good. Place was busy and wait time was reasonable for number of table and servers.
Alyssa was an amazing server, never once had to ask for a drink. Will be coming back every time I pass through.

I got breakfast served at 2 in the afternoon. I appreciate this. To many restaurants cant cook a egg in the afternoon. Go figure. Easiest meal out there.

Unfortunately I used to love this place and come here religiously, the past 3-5 times Ive been here it has been an unpleasant experience, the food is okay, nothing spectacular but its good, prices are okay, service is okay only depending on the day I feel and last time I was there for a $5 bcmi Inn breakfast special, I waited 15 minutes to get a drink, and watched other people who came in after me eat first, I waited 1.5 hours to have cold eggs, hash browns and sausage. This place isnt what it used to be and unfortunately I will not be returning any time soon.

Came in for the Wednesday Burger Special. Was not disappointed. Grease level was not an issue at all. The poutine was the best poutine (fries) Ive had in Lloydminster. Id definitely have it again. Staff is friendly.
Just had my first rusty s Experience. Staff was super friendly. Had the chicken cordon bleu it was great. 10/10 will visit again.

Food was great! We arrived after the lunch hour and they had only 1 soup when we ordered 2. Waitress brought salad after telling her 3 times we didnt want it. Only reason they didnt get 5*. Will go again.

Had the Seniors Veal Cutles: the veal is succulent and cooked with skill, the mash potatoes had a consistant texture and flavoring. It came with steamed veg; not a favourite of mine, but still cooked well. The service was attentive, casual, and pleasant: not even once have I had a disrespectful or inattentive server in this establishment. On that note however, most restaurants keep their staff on a skeleton crew and Rustys is no exception; the longest wait you might have is to be seated. Usually this is because theres a single waitress working the entire floor. I promise its worth it, and that youll walk out with a smile. Things to note: Rustys has a vibe similar to Humptys, in which it is not fastfood and comes with proper cooking times to match.

Just had the Friday Supper Special...NY Strip steak with a shrimp skewer, garlic toast, vegetables and potato. Safe to say it was the best steak Ive had in town in a long time. Great attentive service too. Thanjs!
