I totally enjoyed my meal at Dennys

Great place provided you dont have the Ukrainian waitress serve you. She is rude and argumentative. I order the same breakfast all the time and it always tastes great. This waitress demanded that I cannot have my usual as she had been working there for a year and it wasnt available...I told her it was available just a couple of weeks ago, and she suggested something from the menu that wasnt even similar. Rather than ask kitchen staff, she proceeded to argue and get louder about it. Shes a terrible person and waitress, Ive never experienced anything like it before. Ill be avoiding this Dennys ss long as she is there.

Get a gaden salad, sizzling pot roast on rice with gravy and a mango smoothie !

Prices have gone up considerably. Seniors menu selection very poor . Used to like going there, but it is getting too pricey for seniors.

Terrible food never going back again. Coras is 10x better. The only good thing about this place is they have one really nice waitress

The staff don t listen to you we have waited an hour and 15 minutes for our food and we stepped out to use the washroom and they tried to clean our table off when they where told we where stepping away for 3 minutes

We ordered TBones rare. One came overcooked. Rice was mush, corn wasn t sweet and only got six onion rings. The server was the only good part of this meal.

Went Here On April 2nd after lunch we waited 20 minutes watching other guests being served even though we were there before them after our 20 minute wait I went to the counter and let them know I will never be returning to the lloydminister Dennys again very disappointed due to they have fantastic food.

Amazing food

Went to Dennys for the advertised pink shirt day. Took 2 friends to support the cause. Even showed the waitress the ad that I was emailed. They refused to honor the ad price and I was charged $53.60 for our meals. Very disappointed they would not honor the ad. More so that they did not support the cause

Had a delicious strawberry, banana pancake breakfast.

Everything was absolutely horrible the food all tasted like card board and was awful. The service was not good. All but one of our party got up and left and someone waited to pay three people came by and said they couldn t do anything and the person who could ignored him for about ten minutes

The food is not to the standards of other Dennys Ive been to. The coffee tasted soapy/scummy. The service, however, was excellent

Found it rude that demanded we had to pay 15% tip for more than 8 people, like people don t tip at the end. This is a family restaurant, why demand a tip. The restaurant should say don t bring more than 8 people.

Two other groups were served before us and than the staff came to us and said that the if there is 8 or more we would be charged 15% automatically. No restaurant should be charging anything for tips on service until the service is provided. Bad service deserves either no tip or smaller tip. Never going back there

My mother made a reservation for a large group of our family. She had estimated up to 16 people, but only 10 came. When we got there, it was busy, which we already knew would happen which is why she made reservations to begin with. We waited as other people without reservations got seated and when the hostess finally got to us, she said we all could not be seated at the same table! Thats why reservation was made! The whole point of getting family together IS TO SIT TOGETHER! We did not stay. Instead went to the Husky House where they made sure we all sat at the same table.

Food was good, wait staff was a bit short with us that day, lights were too bright for dinner setting. We were charged extra $2 for toast for each meal which was unexpected since we didnt ask for it. We personally preferred the Edmonton locations over this Lloyd one.

We came in for breakfast. We order some food and i order creps for me not the breakfast i said her that i need hash brown as a add on but she charge for a side i order 2 of those even they dont give me a employee discount and i came from other locations of alberta this is not a standard. Dennys is dennys i am very upset about this and still the server was arguing with me even i know how its work.

I go to Dennys often for brunch and lunch and sometimes for dinner. The staff is always friendly and attentive. The food is consistently very good. lt has been my experience that when I leave, it is with the feeling that Ive had a good meal and been treated very well. Kudos to the Lloydminster Dennys!

Great food, but service can be excruciatingly slow 80% of the time. I once walked in (at around 2pm) when they were quiet, and all 6ish members of staff just stopped cleaning/pottering around and stared at me like I was an alien and wasnt meant to be there. I stood at the podium for a couple of minutes and wasnt acknowledged so I walked out all embarrassed, and looked at the hours and it was open, so I walked back in and asked if they were open and somebody finally came and seated me. Theres nothing worse than feeling unwelcome at a place of business. Sometimes the service is ok, but most of the time its pretty terrible and not worth the visit.

Ordered for pick up through Skip the dishes, I ran out to get it, needed to make 2 stops before arriving for the food (the app said it would take 15-20 mins), I arrived at Denny s likely around the 45 min mark. Arrived and told the young hostess I was there for a skip pick up order and told her the order number, she went, could not seem to find it, another older lady camcorder to clarify my order number and I could see her flying around the kitchen line trying to find my order, at that point I knew there was a problem. She came back the third time and this time requested to actually see my order, so as I was trying to pull up my order I was thinking out loud and said oh well I think it was placed over 20 mins ago.. and then she goes yeah well 20 mins doesn t mean anything here on a busy day . I was completely floored by this rude outburst. So I showed her the time stamp and it was actually over 45 mins for this order they cannot even find. So she goes back to the kitchen line and I see one chef go give me five mins . The lady comes back and explains quite smugly oh there was a mix up or something with your order but we are putting a 911 rush on it , and at that point I clarified that it s actually been 45 mins already but no order and she just repeated again there was a mix up. So ten mins pass, she comes and I double check my order in front of her, and I bring up the nasty comment she made about 20 mins doesn t mean anything and she got a little defensive and said yeah well it s true it doesn t matter and once I called her out and said that s a really rude way to talk to a customer then she changed her tune. I was not impressed by this attitude towards a customer, at no point was I rude or unreasonable to her. I even said I understand if you re busy or skip screws up (even though I don t think this was skips issue I think they missed our order) but that s no way to talk to me. The service has gone downhill. Seems confusing and chaotic here. Food was ok, one order had bacon instead of sausage as we ordered, but it was ok. As I double checked the order before leaving there was a missing toast, she went and got it, I told her I appreciated the rush none the less but not the rudeness. Very disappointed. Not sure we will order here again.

The food was okay, mine was cold so I had to send it back. Definitely not worth the price. I found it hard to get the waitresses attention when we needed her. It wasnt horrible but I dont think Ill go back.

Update After four years I went back with my bf.. we were seated at a table. Waitress walks by makes eye contact with me but quickly looks aways and keeps going. deals with the guest behind us.. the guest beside us but not us.. doesnt even acknowledge our existence and ask of we maybe would like a drink. After almost 20 minutes of waiting to be asked for a drink, we got up and left. Went here with my mom and new born son. The greeter was fantastic super friendly and helped get the baby into the chair... The waitresses on the other hand.. we sat for twenty minutes two waitresses walked by helped every one around us even cleaned the table next to us but didnt even make eye contact with my mom and I. The hurried past us with coffee for other tables but couldnt be bothered to ask us if we needed anything. Will not go back.

Our server, Kandee was great. She was wonderful with the kids and put a rush on our food since we were in a hurry.

The restaurant was nice, went with family and had a great time. The food wasnt greasey or overcooked, the seating they give us are nice. Overall a nice and tasty restaurant.

My grandma and I waited for 20 minutes before the staff waited on us. Another table that arrived after us got waited on before we even ordered our drinks. And we arrived before rush hour. The pancakes were good but the sausage was terrible. It definitely has gone downhill from the last time I went there. Very disappointed. Kid-friendliness: My brother and his friends didnt receive their food until 2 hours later and it ended up arriving cold.

Waited a painful amount of time to be seated. Had to go and ask to be seated after waiting 10 minutes of not being acknowledged I had to go ask to be seated. After that service was good and food was good! I feel like they are just disorganized or understaffed.

Food cold both myself and friend ate it but got gaas bloating and diarrhea as a result.Not enough staff or perhaps warming equipment not working properly.Sad because it was my favourite.

What a JOKE. 40 minutes of waiting, only for the order to be wrong and the food overcooked or cold. My fiancé didn t even get to eat his toast, it and the bacon was dried out and cold. A single swipe of butter on the bread. We literally paid fifty bucks for it all together, he paid me back his base cost as he felt like we were robbed. Sack the moron for a cook and stop letting in people with screaming 9 month old children, or shutter the place. Miserable establishment.

Always love coming here. They have a great selection of food, and everything I have tried has been very good, and it comes quickly. The service has always been fast, friendly, and efficient as well. Add to all that the reasonable prices and that makes it amazing.

Thursday March 3. Family was at Dennys for supper. The manager or supervisor that was working that night was very negative towards the cook. Not very professional at her job at all. As for the cook she deserves 5 stars our meal was awesome. Props too the cook.

Went for breakfast waited 20 mins for a seat then 20 mins to just drinks, 10 more to get our order waited 30 mins for food and we didn t get everything we ordered. The food we didn t get, wasn t comp or taking off our bill. It was my wife paying as I was bringing our kids out and she doesn t have a back bone like me all they said was sorry. I wish the manger was there, his pretty good and understanding. Over all bad experience and our food was Luke warm at best. Disappointed

Our server MacKenzie was awesome. Filled our drinks and always checked to see how were doing. Last experience was terrible, cold food terrible service I said Id never come back to this location but Ive changed my mind.

My son loves this place and he went once! The food was great and hot! Service was nice once we finally got seated (one server just stared at us while we waited and ignored us - the second server who was clearly working her butt off saw us from across the room and came to seat us). She refilled my water and since thats all I drink - its important. I appreciate the effort of making sure our drinks are full always.

I rolled into town late at night and thought that Id grab a quick burger to go because I have always loved the bourbon burger. This was not the burger I remembered. It was dry, the onions and peppers were almost burnt and there was very little sauce on it. It was not a great experience but Dennys is still a classic. Ill chalk it up to late night and the cook was sleeping. Gave it a second shot. Same burger but different result. Burger was great. No complaints on the food. However, due to being severely under staffed the food took forever to make it to the table. Very long wait tines to get a table also. I know its hard holding onto staff these days. Our server was very nice and luckily we werent in a rush.

Bring a sweater it s freezing inside. The food was good the service could have been better. Our waitress never smiled once and she brought out all the adult food while my son waited another 10 min for his. You need to eat fast or your food will get cold. I don t think we d ever go back.

And they brought the wrong bill to our table after we finished eating. So much confusion in this place. But worst was definitely the food. Worst food Ive ever had. Service was very slow, took along time for my order to be taken, and from the time my order was taken to the food getting to my table....very slow been sitting here an hour and still havent got my food

Beware! When you have a party of 8 or more Denny s automatically adds in a tip. The server did not tell us about this practice prior to me paying the bill and then was double tipped and she still did not say anything.

Good service and good burger. Had the Slamburger with fries and it was pretty good. This Dennys seems to be better than others, also didnt leave the restaurant smelling like grease.

Food was terrible. Half my plate was cold while the other half was steaming hot. My gf beyond meat burger patty was half missing. The bacon on my sons meal was wafer thin and cold. The service was great but highly under staffed. Only reason for 2 stars is the understaffed waitress was carrying the entire staff and she was great. Otherwise 1 star....barely Vegetarian options: Pathetic attempt Kid-friendliness: Cold meal, 3 sprinkles on his bday pancakes, and the tiniest dollop of whip.

45 minutes after being seated we still didnt have our breakfast, nor had our waitress come back to offer any refills on our coffee. Needless to say we just walked out we didnt even bother paying for the 2 coffees after wasting our time. I wont ever go back to that location. Food

It took a long time for them to cook and serve the food. (Well it was maybe about 30-40 minutes but for 3 hungry people it felt like forever) It wasnt very busy when we were there. As a rough estimate we were there from 4:30 - 5:55. Wheelchair accessibility: the ramp for wheelchairs isnt very near the door.

Ive wanted to visit this place for about a year now, but never got the chance. But now that Ive tried it I can honestly say I was totally impressed. Of course I ordered more food than I could eat, but it was all so delicious. I will be visiting again in the future. Was seated for 45 minutes before someone came and took our order after we asked. I am GENUINELY curious how long we could ve stayed there without being acknowledged. Super young kids running the show with no clear leadership, I m surprised the kitchen is even pushing out orders. I have submitted this location as a potential candidate for Kitchen Nightmares, they need Gordon Ramsey level intervention. After 4 waiters addressed our table, we finally got the food. Asked for no eggs but hashbrowns instead. Was told I would be charged extra for the potatoes, but why not take off money for the eggs Im not getting?! Coffee wasnt up to par, and for a breakfast place that is necessary. Overall I probably wont be back, the food quality just isnt worth the price. Breakfast for 2 should not be $40

I had the worst experience and worst food Ive ever had at a restaurant. I actually had a hard time eating out after this place. And the shift manager asked how it was and I said Ive had better and he walked away from me. Not to mension paid full price for slimy food. It was gross. They dont care about you at all so if youre okay with that, youd be okay dining here. I know Im not. And never in my life have I gave a 0 tip, but i did this day. It was terrible.
