All of the rolls were amazing even the California roll had all sorts of extra effort and garnish.

Great service but they keep upping the price and lowering the portion sizes. Not worth the money. Paid 80$ and left hungry. Will not be returning.

Fantastic service and the best sushi I ve ever had! The red dragon roll is my absolute favourite. I also really love the flavour of the Kentucky roll.

I had high hopes this was the same as it was years ago while in Lloyd, but unfortunately it wasn t. The sashimi had frozen ice bites and was not even sliced though and salmon was the only choice, next the sushi looked like it was cut with a bread knife, and for $32 I d expect more of a variety, the rice looked like a ice cream scoop was used. Then there was the service was very slow even with only 3 tables. So in summary,$67.20 for two beers and some badly prepared sushi and slow serving

Went there last week while passing Lloyd, an hour and a half before they closed. Their food was so good and fresh. Had the vegetables tempura, shrimp tempura roll and green forest roll. Our server was really nice too !!

But pricey for the portion size in the Sashimi, but overall decent.

This was hands down the best sushi I ve ever had! The couple who I assume own the place were very nice and even kept the place open late as we showed up 20 minutes to close! We got the love boat and I was hesitant as I don t eat raw fish but the cooked options they had included tasted delicious and were filling we will definitely be going again!

Try it for yourself and u will agree I have been to all Vegetarian options: You can get rolls with just veggies and there is tofu Dietary restrictions: They will accommodate as much as you can but dont put yourself at risk if you cant even breath the air that fish is in Parking: There is lots of marking in the strip mall its in and stops right at the door Kid-friendliness: There is high chairs for little ones, and friendly service and all kids like to play with their chop sticks Wheelchair accessibility: There is no step to get in the restaurant or any raised levels in the dining room

Lloydminster isnt exactly there place you would expect good sushi. I was pleasantly surprised. The food was fresh and tasty. The gyoza was handmade. The tempura was perfectly battered. It is a bit expensive, but it is a long way from any ocean too!

Love this place ! It s slightly less expensive than sushi sora and you get more food !

Always delicious and the ladies are so friendly and helpful if you have questions or inexperience. I recommend the salmon cone and if raw fish freaks you out, order the volcano roll! You won t be disappointed

Went there for a late lunch today. I have to say this was not a pleasant experience. The restaurant was not busy as there were only 2 other tables besides us at the time. Our lunch orders were incomplete (sashimi was missing, no wasabi). The cooked salmon tasted old and burnt (more akin to a plastic taste). The server forgot our rolls until the end of the meal. When they came they looked like they were just tossed on the plate. The server never came to check on us, or offer us refill until he was clearing the table at the end of the meal. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this restaurant as the experience was quite distasteful.

5 stars overall. Great service and restaurant ambience. Lloydminster has little to no fresh seafood, and I can confidently say with the 6 dishes we ordered the difference is incredible from other restaurants with seafood. I did ask for extra wasabi but was not given any.

I visited friday at sushi wa i ordered beef bento box and that was so so awesome i never ever tried beef and chiken like this and meeso soup is awesome

My first experience was a 10/10. The Golden Dragon roll was my absolute favourite. Will for sure definitely visit again.

It was all very odd. The waiter didnt know the menu. He forgot items. The food was mediocre at best. Unseasonably, greasy, chewy. It reminded me of gas station food for triple the price.

Had the chicken teriyaki that was $20. The portion was very small. Enough to feed a 6 year old child

Bad service. The crew is lazy. The food is mediocre. Nothing so special about it. Wengot served more than 30 minutes after we came in and theres just one or two customers dining in. Dont go there unless you want to experience what were through.

Our absolute favorite sushi restaurant in lloydminster!

I hate to speak badly of a restaurant, but the food here just isnt good. The ginger had an off taste, the wasabi had an old taste, and the rolls just had far too much mayo on the crab stuffed in them. The service was great and its a nice, quiet atmosphere though. Perhaps I just caught an off night, but I cant say Id wish to go back. Kid-friendliness: They are great with kids.

Delicious as always! Miso soup, sunomono salad and volcano roll were especially good.

Go to Sushi Sora ..was seated next to a freezer and a bunch of stuff piled up (I guess storage) not so charming. Wasn t given wasabi or ginger . Had to ask for wasabi. Wasabi was so weak. Food was edible .I couldn t eat my nigiri tasted like lemon. My husband ate it all. But he s like Mikey. He eats everything.

Great food, excellent presentation and such an amazing service. The lady who served us is such a warm and kind woman. Amazing to have such great Japanese food in Lloyd. Overall it was an awesome experience and I am looking forward to visiting Sushi Wa the next time we visit Lloyd.

Seems like a nice restaurant, but they do not have any gluten free options.

With a total of five other guests in the restaurant, we were 2 minutes away from leaving because it took over an hour to receive any of our food.

We went out for dinner here for the first time, and have mixed feelings. The waitress working on Feb 26 2021 was phenomenal. The prices werent bad at all. They definitely were busy so the wait was long. They messed up our order but they took money off to make it right. The food tasted great, and the plating was absolutely beautiful! I would go here again!

Went in and ordered a togo order was told to come back in 45 mins. Came back and the waitress didnt even put the order in. They dont even deserve a 1*. What a complete waste of time!!! Update: figured I would try one more time. The food has gone down so much in quality, its not worth it. The tuna sashimi was not fresh at all and the size, smaller than my pinky.

Waiter was completely clueless didnt have a clue how to do anything he he literally kept bringing the wrong food to our table we ended up with six extra meals we didnt order food was really good happy to pay for what I had food tasted great service was something else its like what will be brought to my table next that I didnt order

This place is really comfy, the best place in Lloydminster to get sushi from. I had the Black Dragon. Super delicious! The Matcha (Green Tea) Icecream is worth a try.

the food is alright, it is overpriced especially at supper. when you pay more for the same food and same amount as the lunch time prices. service has been very hit and miss.

AMAZING! I work outta town and this sushi was phenomenal, the volcano roll is life. Also the waitress working March 21. 19 she is absolutely remarkable and sweet as Georgia pie! Ill be coming back for more

My favorite restaurant in Lloydminster. The sushi is amazing, I have never been disappointed. I just wish they did delivery!

I went out here for supper the other day. The sushi was pretty good, I was very happy with the size of the rolls. They werent small and so I definitely got my moneys worth. I had the Red Dragon rolls to start and they were delicious! I also really liked the dynamite rolls. I couldnt order any single sushi or single pieces of sashimi though so that wasnt ideal. All in all though, I would definitely eat there again.

Best Sushi in Lloyd.

Conveniently located right beside the highway, prices are fairly reasonable and the food was pretty good. I always order a tuna sashimi when I buy sushi and this was better tonight than most places although the pieces were quite small for the price. The other roles were tasty and well put together, they only provided a very tiny little bit of ginger and wasabi however the food was really good and I quite enjoyed my meal

I really like the food here. But the music can be pretty annoying (like weird versions of 80s and 90s songs)

Came in optimistic and came out broke and dissapointed...$40 later for one person...not that great of quality rolls either. The Gyoza s meat texture was powdery ?... I would not recommend going here.

Great flavors, fresh fish and crisp veggies in the rolls. Price is on par for a sushi restaurant. Been many times will keep going till I die!

Most of the stuff one find in lloydminster is over priced like this sushi place, they think everyone is having oil money in their pockets, portions are tooooooooooo small for a regular meal, food tastes same as other sushi places, nothing extra ordinary, my suggestion it s better to go once for sushi in a month and go to some big city like Saskatoon or Calgary

Never suspected this place to have some of the best food in the world. I ve been to Asia, and Vancouver, Where sushi is fresh, yet Sushi Wa has some of the freshest and best tasting fish and Maki I ve ever eaten.

Three times we have tried to go there during regular business hours (noon on a weekday) and they have been closed. The only reason they got two stars is the one time they were open the food was good.

We had the California roll, red dragon roll, philidelphia roll & volcano roll. They were all superb. We were planning on taking home the leftovers but ended up eating it all! So good. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Cute little restaurant with quick service and delicious sushi. My boyfriend and I ordered volcano roll ($13) and yam tempura roll ($7 or 8) -- it was sooooo good! There was more than we expected and it was very filling. The service was fast as well. Ill be going back the next time I have a sushi craving!

Defiantly nice place. Their menu items were decently priced and good quality. They made a small shop space into a restaurant with a nice atmosphere within. The wait time is very decent. A great place for both first time and experience sushi eaters.

This is a very nice little sushi place the service is very friendly and very fast. I placed a to go order and it was ready in less then 15 min. The food is top notch. The prices are a little high but well worth it.
