Perfect Fried Chicken blew my wife and I away. It might be a bit of a hole in the wall, but don’t let that deter you—it’s absolutely worth a visit. The food here is fantastic, especially if you’re craving some classic, no-frills fried chicken. The chicken is crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and seasoned just right. The portions are generous. The fries are perfectly golden, and the Chili and Mayo sauce complements the meal. The decor is authentic, very hard to find nowadays. The place is worth going just for the decor. However, the service is lazy and the food is bland. If it's your only choice then it's fine but if it's not — then there are better places nearby.
Haven’t eaten from this place in years and I must say the food is how I remembered it tasting It was nice and fresh the fries and hot wings and the piece of chicken was so delicious cots £4:50 with a drink they only take card if it’s £6 and over otherwise you have to pay cash The older man was friendly and big smiles
I have been coming here since I was a kid. I am extremely disappointed with the service. There is one guy who has been working there for a long time. When I say a long time, I mean more than 15 years. He is always at the front serving food. When I went last week to have a two-piece meal, I asked for a side breast and thigh. I have been buying the same meal for a long time. That day, when I ordered the food, he said, "I can’t give you a side breast and thigh. You could have a side breast and leg or a side breast and wing piece." I asked him politely, "I can’t eat leg and wing; I need a side breast and thigh." I also told him I had been coming here for a long time and that I would pay extra if necessary. He still refused to give it to me and said our policy has changed; we can’t give the same piece; it must be mixed. I did not argue and changed my mind, so I bought a fillet burger meal with three wings and one side breast. I told him I would be eating in, so he gave me a tray. Then, after ten minutes, a lady came to buy food. She ordered the two-piece meal with wings twice and requested a side breast and thigh. She also ordered one piece of chicken separately, which was a thigh. The guy did not say anything and just gave her the food. This guy is a pervert; he was looking at the woman from head to toe. He was also chatting with her. Where is the policy now? When I left the shop, I confronted him, and he said, "Brother, come in; I’ll give you the pieces." I told him no. I just wanted to say treat everyone equally. When it comes to quality, it’s great, and the prices are reasonable.
Unfortunately has gone down significantly over the years. Prices have rocketed in recent months, chicken pieces are very salty, chicken burger is very small and tasteless with flaking skin. Only decent thing are the wings. I wouldn’t recommend this place
Rating: 4/5 I recently ordered from this Indian takeaway and overall had a good experience. The food was delicious, full of authentic flavors, and portion sizes were generous. Having been coming to this spot for years now, it has some of the best fried chicken to cost ratio. Decent and budget friendly prices, fries are usually soft and crunchy and delicious, juicy fried chicken. The staff there are friendly and helpful and the store gives off that welcoming 'Bossman' feel. One downside is the cleanliness could have been better and I wouldn't recommend dining here as they don't have much seating but an overall good experience.
Been coming here since 1998, and they still have that 1990s decor man! If you know, then you know! Love it! Honestly one of the best PFC's around, super tasty wings and chips and always been consistently good. I'm so glad they are still here, even with all the local competition this place is always busy with locals and visitors to Stratford. Hope they're still here in 2190! Rashad is a good man.

Bad!! Horrible!! Ive been vomiting all night because of the nasty poison drumsticks they gave me!! It is my fault I was hungry but I should know better seeing the dirty shop and their dirty nails from the staff working there. Never again in my life, the worst chicken shop ever!

Ive been coming here for 15 years. Today I walked into PFC and was going to order like I always do. right away I was in complete shock to see theyve increased all their prices to almost double the price! I straight away walked out. I understand cost of living but these new prices are ridiculous! This takeaway has always been busy from morning till night; this is all down to pure greed. When youre greedy you lose respect and the loyal customers who pay your wages! Theres many other takeaways i will be eating from instead of this place. Im Disappointed.

I have tried the best fried chicken in the whole world. Ive never tried one as good as this one. Besides all the ones in London, this is the best because they are very friendly and fast. Totally recommended. In the future I will travel to London just to eat at this place again.
Very good offers compared to other chicken places. Under £3 for chicken n chips or wings n chips with out a drink. Drinks I think are a little expensive like in other places. Every time the chicken or the wings have been succulent and flavourful. Not too greasy. Quick service. Always seems busy and always seems well stocked. Good selection of sauces squeezed out very generously except for ketchup that comes in tiny satchets. Cheap and cheerful and tasty. You will have to fight the urge to eat here regularly. If possible Id suggest they try to increase the seating area. Kid-friendliness: Kids love it. Young kids drag their parents there. Kids after school are queuing to grab some food. Wheelchair accessibility: No steps when entering or inside. Tiny seating area so chairs need to be moved to make space. Have seen couple of wheelchair users go in with their families.

This is a legendary PFC shop, do not be fooled by the classic, outdated look! I honestly love the classic atmosphere this PFC shop has! The food here is delicious and has always been consistent. I have been coming here for years now. The wings were cooked to perfection and were well seasoned, and the size of the wings were good. I ordered a Chicken Fillet Burger Meal, and the chicken burger was delicious. It was very big and filling and up there with some of the best chicken burgers I ve had from a PFC shop. The portions were huge, and they give lots of chips with your order. The shop is always busy, and it is certain your food will be fresh, especially the wings which are succulent and tender. The prices are decent, and are in line with most PFC shops. The mayonnaise here is delicious, and all the sauces are fresh. The owner is very friendly, and recognises regular customers. Overall, this is an excellent PFC shop which is very underrated. The quality is incredible.

I wouldn t go so far as say their food is perfect, but this place has been around forever and is a good, reliable fast food restaurant. It is located opposite the Stratford library and is some way away from the old Stratford mall and Westfield. Their fries are like the way KFC used to do them, crispy form the outside, soft and fluffy from then inside. Their fired chicken is reasonably priced and you get a lot more for less than KFC. I mean, they won t win any prizes for gourmet food, but neither will any other fast food chain so if this is the type of food you want, and you happen to be on the area, better to go here than stand in queue at KFC, Wendy s McDonalds and Burger King. Food is similar and a little cheaper. This place also has the distinction of having been around for ages which means it is reliable, since in all these years no one died eating their food (as far as I know). Some of the letters from their store front have fallen off outside and I think they should put them back because it looks shabby.
the gentleman with the moustaches at the counter tricked me into buying an extra item for my chicken burger meal because it was £4.25 and he said they dont accept cards for payment under £5 as that is the minimum amount to use the card payment and I bought an extra burger for £2.39. I was starving and had to wait extra to get my meal ready. There is also no sign in the shop that says you need to get an order of minimum £5 to use the card payment. Absolutely gutted for this, because we are in 2024, we have done so much progress technologically and yet there are people refusing to progress and remain in the old age.

Great friend chicken and burger. Chips are okay. Poor customer service. They use a separate mayonnaise for the burger and wont give you the same mayonnaise for your sides. Restaurant will be absolutely freezing throughout winter as they will always keep their doors open not giving a warm welcoming place to eat. On the other hand, they have great prices.

Disgusting customers service. I asked for a chicken wings meal but they start arguing that i didnt ask for a drink when they clearly were not paying attention when I gave my order in and were gossiping. The owner was especially rude to customers in front of everyone.

Theres a lot of local restaurant/grill places in this part of Stratford where you cant get a decent meal for less than £6/7, I can only think of 2 other chicken shops within 20 mins of this location. This place is affordable, the chicken is fresh and tasty and they have great service the 2 times Ive been. Dont know why I didnt try them sooner its my only regret.

This Is a long overdue review. I applaud PFC and its staff for keeping the quality and taste of the food very consistent and the prices very competitive to some of the bigger brands local to them in these times. The spicy chicken burger and wings meal is one of my favourites. Which I highly recommend. The staff are very courteous and adaptive to the needs of every individuals meal. Relative to how you may like them. Which is not the case with other local businesses/food outlets. I have been coming here for a long time (years), to be honest. To be able to provide good fresh quality and well priced meals for everyone over the last 20 odd year despite the downturn in the economical climate. I think PFC and its staff should be proud to be producing food that everyone can afford and enjoy. Most of all were very grateful and thankful to the services theyre providing to the local community and tourists. At the expense of there continuous hard work and dedicated time. Thankyou for adhering to all the Covid 19 hygiene rules and restrictions keeping everyone safe. I Thankyou & Keep up the good work. ;)

I usually visit this establishment during lunch time with colleagues. I find the food to be tasty and fresh on all visits and inexpensive. Service is really fast, courteous staff and they are not tight with condiments. I was always really pleased to notice how serious they take covid safety e.g. not allowing customers to handle sauce bottles instead they give required sauces. Tables are also cleaned after each customer leaves.
