we have been rooting for this place ever since it opened and supported it as much as we could during COVID. It usually is a fabulous experience, but this week's prix fix was not much to write home about. Not in taste nor in presentation which was considerably different and scaled down from what was shown in social media pictures. We hope this was a one-off...(eg. duck was ordered and recommended to be medium rare- there was nothing medium or rare about that , but rather fully cooked and dry). The server while nice and pleasant, clearly had not been given any kind of training about how to serve and how to take dishes away. It used to be a place where one would notice the attention to detail on many levels, but none of that was present during our most recent visit.
What a surprisingly wonderful dining experience. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable. The food was delicious. Their wine list, while not extensive, is very carefully thought out. Every dish was expertly balanced. They were easily able to accommodate dietary restrictions. A total win. If you are seeing a show in downtown London, do yourself a solid and check out Grace before the show.
Grace has really got it going on! Last night, I dined with a friend at Grace; and the complete experience was exceptional. The food was amazing; combining ingredients, flavours and textures that were creative, unique and delicious. I had the 4 course offering and every dish was a knock out. Wow, what a Foodie’s delight! The wine selection is limited (they could work on that); but the French red we selected was delicious. I’d try the wine pairing next time. Our server was informed, friendly and attentive. The dining room atmosphere is classy but comfortable. I had been to Grace twice before, awhile ago: and it was “Good”, but they’ve raised their game to “GREAT”. A true dining experience, where function evolves into art!
Celebrated a birthday lunch at grace yesterday. It was our first time in and we came for lunch. The plating and presentation of the food was fantastic, our server was very friendly and helpful with suggestions. Will definitely have to come back and try their dinner.
This was my second visit to Grace and it was even better than the first. Every course was exquisitely prepared. I loved the prix fixe menu options and the creativity within them. It was a very nice dining experience . If you’re looking for a culinary experience, Grace provides that impeccably. Thank you for another beautiful evening.
Our time at Grace was to celebrate a birthday with a group of 8. Loved the window-table placement and stylish atmosphere. When I booked I didn’t realize we’d all go for the tasting menu that was several courses. But that was fantastic. An experience in itself for sure. Delicious courses delivered and explained. Grace’s sommelier assisted with wines. A yummy cake (planned ahead with Denise) was presented at the end. A really nice experience! Everyone enjoyed their time. Thank you 🙏
WOW! First night in town for a business trip and they do not disappoint. Will likely be back later this week for something else on their ever-changing menu! Don’t miss this place, a must-do for foodies. Brandon was very nice and informative about the food scene in town as well. Thanks for a great experience!
Had the Londonlicious menu plus an extra entree. Exceeded my expectations. I found the portions the perfect size for 4 courses. The dishes were inventive and well seasoned. Our server was attentive and friendly. A bit slow with the food pacing at first, but wasn’t a major bother.
My boyfriend and I, both busy law students, had been looking forward to dining at this stunning restaurant for months. Unfortunately, the experience fell far short of expectations. I have a gluten allergy, which I made clear when ordering, but the food took over an hour to arrive despite the restaurant being nearly empty. When I checked in with the waitress, she simply said they had multiple orders come in at once and offered no apology. When the food finally arrived, it wasn t gluten-free and had to be remade. By the time I received my meal, my boyfriend had already finished his. The food itself was disappointing, with a strange, almost rotten garlic taste. When the waitress asked how it was, I gave homest feedback, but again, there was no acknowledgment or apology. Even when the manager came over, their response was not to apologize but to offer a discount without addressing the service or quality issues. We weren t looking for a discount, just an acknowledgment of the problems an apology and some assurance they d address them for future customers. Sadly, the entire experience left us feeling very let down, and we won t be returning.
Delicious and interesting food in a relaxed atmosphere.
I wanted to start by saying we went here for Sunday brunch so my opinion is limited to that and their main food might be great for all I know. My partner and I were very excited to try this fine dining restaurant for a while now. Today we got the chance to try their Sunday brunch and we wont be going back again. We ordered eggs Benny and the food we got was very underwhelming. The egg Bennys were basically hard boiled with no runny egg yolk which is literally all you want from a Benny . However worst than that were the English muffins were so old and stale that the there was no way to cut them. They could have been cardboard and I couldnt tell the difference. The plating was also really boring. To sum it up I could have had a better eggs Benny in any of the 20 restaurants in the area. Most of them would have costed less. I wanted to finish this on a positive note that the atmosphere and service were great it is such a shame that the food didnt match .
Doesn t worth the price. Food doesn t taste good. Whole environment is too dark. Design of the dishes is boring and the plate is too simple. All flavor is mixed and can t tell what you just ate. Trouble mistake for a fine dining restaurant. Stuff don t know what they are serving as well.
Service and atmosphere are good. However, the texture and taste of the food doesn t not meet my expected quality for the high price point and pretty interior decorations.
Fantastic meal, well be back!
Very nice staff with quite good food!
Really love the Sunday brunch! Usually quiet at opening but gets busier throughout. I recommend the eggs benedict dishes. Great coffee too. Love a good mimosa in the morning!
I would 1000% recommend coming here! Absolutely stunning food and amazing service. David was our server and was very informative, knowledgeable and made our evening perfect. We did the Prix Fixe menu and by far was an absolutely wonderful experience. Worth every penny! Started with the 1st course of Over the Garden soup (would take 10 jugs of this home if I could!), Golden Girls (squash and beetroot, awesome flavours!), Harvest Moon (steelhead trout with beautiful spice and depth of flavors), and finished with the Chocolate Mirage (fantastic combo of sweet chocolate mousse and sour cherry) We are definitely coming back and cant believe weve lived here for 5 years and have never been before. This is our new favourite place for farm to table goodness along with impeccable flavour and variety.
Delicious food and great service! They rotate their menu every season, so theres always something new to try. They always have vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options.
It is unfortunate that we won t be returning to this resto. We had a reservation originally for 2 but last minute turned to 3. The host promptly informed us that they may have to move us mid meal. Secondly, our first server informed us about the fixed menu. I had to ask about a la carte. Thirdly, our second server seemed rather aloof not engaging with us personally. In addition, he did not ask us mid meal if we were happy with the meals. Finally, mine and husband s veg meals were mediocre at best - my dish the hot Italian could have been made by me at home with more taste and volume. The prices are disproportionate to the dishes and service. We will take our 200 dollar experience to a different resto in the future. Very disappointing indeed.
A real culinary experience!!! Absolutely delicious Food
The food was amazing
Service was impeccable. Atmosphere was lovely.
This place is easily the best restaurant in London. We keep coming back and bringing new friends along who also agree! Amazing food, fantastic service, and the drinks? Unreal. Run, dont walk. Dietary restrictions: Incredibly accommodating for those with celiac/ gluten restrictions! :)
Easily one of the best restaurants in the city. Awesome food, excellent service(thanks Brandon), the cocktails were banging, and a solid playlist playing in the background. Will check it out again, and anyone reading this should too. Get in there!
An absolutely incredible dining experience, from service to drinks to food and beyond. Brandon was great - thank you and I ll definitely be back!
Overall a good restaurant. We went for a souper in a week day and half of the restaurant was empty, but the service was very slow and it took 45 minutes to get our food
Painfully slow service. Food is only okay with flavours that are not as cohesive as what they hope to go for
First time at Grace, the food and service were excellent. 10/10
Fantastic work dinner here - super knowledgable and attentive server, and top quality food. We did the fixed 4 course meal and it was delicious. Will be back
I helped organize a Keith Brown & Friends fundraiser benefiting Family Services Thames Valley. We held an after-party at Grace for the events sponsors. Angie and Brendan were fantastic to work with. The service, drinks and food were first class. We ll be back!
Fantastic service. Denise and supporting team was absolutely top notch and easy going. The duck was unforgettable and cannot wait to come back
Enjoyed an anniversary meal at Grace this past Sunday night, our first time there. Quiet, intimate atmosphere without being overly formal, very personable and knowledgeable service, great meal and cocktails. We were served by Brandon, and would/will happily return for a special occasion in the future. Both of us had a unique selection from the four course prix fix, giving us the opportunity to try a total of 8 dishes. Portion sizes were just right for four courses (if dining a la carte and only getting an entree, I could see the portion feeling small; however, I think most should understand that dining a la carte at a spot that otherwise only offers a 4-course meal is diverging considerably from the intended experience). Not many restaurants are confident enough to keep their menu small, but its always a good sign that what youre going to get is going to be good. Overall, great combinations of ideas and tastes, especially some things wed have otherwise been unlikely to try (duck liver mousse was awesome). Crisp presentation without trying too hard. From chatting with Brandon, it sounds like Grace rotates their menu on a seasonal basis, so Im excited to see what the Spring/Summer brings.
We sat across from two couples who brought a large stuffed bear in to the dining room and it only increased our level of enjoyment. Food was great, service was excellent and the ambiance was lovely. Food
We were there on a Friday night and enjoyed the prix fixe dinner. The whole thing was a wonderful experience - truly the best dining experience we ve had in ages. The staff understood the food and drinks exceptionally well and directed us to some great choices. The prix fixe was a perfect amount of food and was excellent. We will definitely be back. Parking: There s a paid parking lot directly behind the restaurant plus lots of free street parking.
I shared a meal with my family at Grace and it was incredible. We each had the price fixe dinner and decided to ask the in-house sommelier for wine pairings with each course. The service staff were attentive and knowledgeable and took pleasure in describing each dish. The decor and atmosphere were stylish and relaxing and I enjoyed the musical selections as well. I started off with a cafe negroni cocktail that combined citrus and coffee flavours and then moved onto a pomegranate salad which had some lovely spicy microgreens. That was followed by marinated albacore tuna accompanied by some very savoury olives and small toasts. For the main dish I had an expertly cooked duck breast with a sweet celery root puree and fingerling potatoes. Desert was a canelé with a crisp shell and custardy interior served with a delicious mocha cream. All of the dishes were gorgeous and the wine pairings elevated each one. I can t recommend the experience enough!
I had the prix fixe 4 course menu. Choose my own wine rather than the optional wine pairings. Other 3 at table ordered a la carte. Every bite was delicious, well seasoned, arrived at table warm and well timed with dinner companions dishes. The Pucker Up: sticky lemon pudding was exquisite and the loose leaf tea, a great quality tea served properly. The fresh flavours of the in house made pasta and ice cream were appreciated. Potato croquettes were an incredible mix of a nice crisp coating encasing the most creamy potato puree of all time. Honestly, the best restaurant meal Ive had in the last 3 years in London and beyond. Dietary restrictions: Attentive to food allergies and medical conditions with dietary restrictions and had lots of options.
My husband and I were wanting to dine here for a few months now. We showed up not knowing much about the menu and the waitress informed us of London licious to try a variety of the foods that they have as an introduction to their restaurant. We decided to try it and ordered some drinks. We ended up canceling the order given the amount of time it took and how little service we were getting in the restaurant to begin with. However we must say the first course we did get (after 40 minutes) seemed like a joke. It was 3 little potato wedges with a slice of prosciutto and it wasn t good at all for the $20 that we still got charged for it. The overall experience wasn t what we thought given that it was rated similar to annd dining and hunter and co, but boy was that far from the truth. I wish I could give them the benefit of the doubt but I just don t feel it was worth it. The drinks were fair priced and the server was very sweet and kind to us. I d say she was the only reason we didn t complain. I hope that they make the quality better and hire more staff for future customers sake.
Underwhelming for the price. Steak is priced at $38 and got five small slices which was supposed to be medium rare but instead closer to medium well along with half a teaspoon of duxelle and a couple bites of pork belly. The pasta dish had the pasta just under al dente, so noticeably undercooked. The braised beef was most likely over braised as it was dry if it wasn t for the sauce. The dessert with canele and espresso whip was fantastic. The head chef needs to hold a tighter ship for the prices.
Great service, nice ambience, creative dishes. Everything tasted great- too bad the steak was tiny
Edit: Not as memorable as my first few times here. Ive had a different variation of the duck twice at this restaurant, and usually, you get quite a bit. Portions may be scaled back because of londonlicious? Regardless, a place that already had smaller portions seems to have gotten smaller. First time coming away from grace hungry. Also, everything was luke warm from the croquettes to the duck. Was here for brunch about 4 months ago and the same thing. Luke warm and eggs over poached for all the geusts who had gotten poached. Attentive staff and service still remain, but food no longer excites me :(
We had a wonderful dinner at Grace s. The London Liscious menu was fantastic, showcasing a delightful array of flavours and textures. Everything was very fresh and expertly presented. Brandon our server was knowledgeable and engaging. We will definitely be back! Vegetarian options: lots of vegetarian and gluten free options
Their New Year seven-course dinner was fantastic. The combination of ingredients in each dish was thoughtful and unique. We cant wait to go back and try their dinner menu!
I went to Grace last night with 5 other ladies after meeting Paul at the Food and Wine expo. Heavenly Grace that was amazing! We all LOVED: The food, the service, the atmosphere. Everything was perfect. The waiter, Brendon, should teach The Art of Waitering. He made us feel comfortable, he explained the food, made recommendations. He was VERY accomodating. Brendon made the most delicious drink! Thank you Sir!! I cant remember when I had such a wonderful experience. The bathroom was clean - NO smells Dietary restrictions: They offer Halal and vegerarian options.
Went to Grace for the Londonlicious event and all the food was absolutely phenomenal. One of the best meals I ve had in a long time truly ! It was a 4 course prix fixe and every option was so hard to pick with all of the clever and delicious dishes. Also got a fantastic cocktail to go with it all. Can t wait to come back for brunch/another dinner sometime soon
Had the streak and it was excellent! One of the best Ive ever had.
Atmosphere is decent here in London and Food was just okay, not impressed with the 4 course meal, it was not tasty and nothing special.
Delicious brunch, had enough for leftovers. Very nice waitress!! would recommend
Wow. Needed to get something to eat while waiting for a connecting train. Walked up the street to this little place with no expectations. One of the better restaurants that we have been to and we eat out quite a bit. Highly recommend.
My boyfriend reserved this place for our forth Valentine s Day. Really love this place!
Fantastic experience! We had the price fixe menu. Servings looked small but were perfectly filling and delicious.
The concept is good, the food ok, average at best. Portions are laughable. $39 for a spoon of potatoes, a little slice of pork belly, and few slices of beef was a bit silly. 100 grams maybe? I honestly thought they had delivered an appetizer instead of the meal I had ordered. I would be interested in knowing the portion size and what part of the beast as the meat was rather tough. It needed a bit more seasoning as well.
Fantastic service Oysters were fresh, food was good
Phenomenal food and service. Great atmosphere! Will definitely be back !
Excellent food, creative menu, and staff was very courteous and informative. We chose the more upscale restaurant for a milestone celebration and had a wonderful time: all the dishes we had an interesting edge and were beautifully plated. Some were bold, others delicately flavoured, All were delicious!
Delicious 4 course dinner.
We went for my best friends birthday. It was great! The atmosphere was lovely. My tall husband was pleased with the seating. We got the 5 course prix fixe menu and we loved every course. The server was attentive and incredibly professional. Food
Came for Londonlicious and will definitely be back. Great atmosphere, wonderful, friendly service and wonderful food.
Just went for my big 40, and londonlicious. Had a wonderful meal, the food was excellent! Staff was friendly and attentive but unobtrusive. Was a very lovely evening.
I came here Sunday morning for a birthday brunch and wow were we blown away. The interior is stunning, with a beautiful open concept kitchen into the dining area. You can watch the chefs working their craft and see the bustling magic of the bar. The waitresses were so friendly, patient and kind with our group especially with accommodating allergies such as dairy free and soy free. I cannot stress enough how hard it is to find a restaurant that takes the time to check their ingredients and offer more than a bare minimum for people with dietary restrictions. The food was absolutely delicious!!! The poached eggs here are at another level. The Benes and cappuccino were amazing. I highly recommend Grace Restaurant and cant wait to return. Update: The 5-course dinner was divine. I am definitely a Grace Restaurant addict now. Dietary restrictions: Staff and chefs are extremely accommodating to dietary needs such as dairy and soy free. Parking: Plenty of free street parking on weekends.
I could not have a more favourite place to dine in London. I always get the Prix Fixe and I always love every course. They charge a very reasonable amount for impeccable customer service to compliment a 5 star meal. I can not stop taking to my friends about this place, I go there first for any special occasion. They are so accommodating. I have less pictures than I want becuase I just cant help but to dive in to each course.
My husband and I came for a date night and had a lovely experience. Great service and delicious food. The duck breast was amazing.
My boyfriend and I came here for Valentine s Day, and we were both speechless with how amazing the food was. The flavour pairings in the dishes the chef created for their 5 course meal impressed us so much. The wine list was also amazingly curated, one of the managers of the wine tasting bar came over to our table and suggested a couple of wines to us which we very much enjoyed. Service was perfect as well! Very excited to come back here one day.
it s always a pleasure to go to Grace! my partner and I went for their Valentine s Day love language special, lovely atmosphere, staff & food! a must try in London
Although the food is gorgeously presented, the added $10 for a meat selection should be around $5 or none at all, the desserts were not that great, very powdery, but okay, the food was absolutely delicious though, but $6.25 for sparkling water and $43 for 3 glasses of wine is a bit over the top. I would definitely go back for the great service and amazing tasting food, but knowing this avoid certain options. The wine was delicious though!! Sucks the location of the restaurant, definitely receive dinner and a show down there, would have liked for some elegant curtains covering outside so I was distracted by all the cars and drug addicts. This is why I give 4 stars. Over all spending over $200 I expected a little bit more, table wise (as there were dents in the table) and view wise (being blocked) they definitely are so very kind when it comes to making a birthday request, the servers are very friendly.
We had the prefix menu, and every item was perfect, ....the service is impeccable
We had an excellent birthday dinner for 6 guests last weekend. This restaurant is a great place to celebrate a special occasion or for a date night. The booth seating was perfect for 6 people. The high walls of the booth made it easy to hear one another without hearing any conversations at the other, well-spaced tables. The food was very good, with interesting combinations of ingredients that were beautifully presented. The short rib pasta was excellent, as was the duck. The wine list and cocktail list were extensive. Prices are very reasonable, quantity of food for the 4 course prix fixe was just right, Our efficient waiter, Brandon, had an impressive memory and knew all the different ingredients in each dish. London is fortunate to have this lovely restaurant
Food is fantastic. Every dish that came out was unique. One quibble was the speed of service. We had to wait about an hour for our first course to come out. Bringing out some bread would help make the experience more seamless, or at least let patrons know that there are delays in making the food. Further courses had a wait of about 20-30 mins after finishing eating. We sat down for a 4 course dinner at 6:15 and it lasted almost 3 hours, which I think is lengthy.
Surprisingly amazing! The food was incredible as well as the service. Would go again. Totally recommended.
We had the winter Prie Fixe menu. A fabulous selection of dishes with 4 choices per course with vegan, gluten free, and omnivorous options to cater to every taste. The restaurant is very modern and well laid out. The small team worked well to put out the dishes, each of which was fantastic, well balanced, perfectly seasoned and entirely delicious. We will return for the spring menu. Vegetarian options: Vegan and vegetarian options are available in each course.
Amazing dining experience! The food was great, the drinks fantastic and the service superb! Highly recommend!
Drag Brunch was the best thing that has ever happened to brunch. Top marks!!
havent had their food, im like always window shopping and its full
We had a phenomenal experience at Grace. We have been searching for a restaurant of this nature and this by far has been our favourite. The ambiance was great, the serving staff knowledgeable, and the food was absolutely amazing. We loved the fresh, healthy ingredients in every time.
After having dinner here serveral times and it being usually pretty good, we went for brunch... Which led to this review. Overall the service is slow, be prepared to spend some time here... dinner or brunch. I would suggest that the servers check in more often with their tables so that you can at least get more coffee or drinks while you wait for your food. If you go for brunch dont order the maple breakfast sausage, its dry as can be and not worth the $5 for 2 little sausages. The huevos española were very greasy and just not that good. I was expecting more/better from a place like Grace. Would go back for dinner and drinks, not for brunch.
Amazing people! Especially our bartender, whom made THE best whiskey sours. Very cozy and relaxing atmosphere.
Had Chef-Prepared Crèm dBroc, Superb!
Lovely place, food and people. Everything was excellent
Two of us had brunch on Sunday. Food was excellent . Partner had the beef hash, I had the cassoulet: both were awesome. Great coffee. Staff were super friendly. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian and plant based options available, especially if you let them know ahead. Dietary restrictions: Super accommodating, especially if you let them know in advance.
We were disappointed with the prix fixe. The portions were very small and the food was mediocre at best. My steak was overly salted, and unenjoyable, but my friends pork belly was literally inedible. The service was friendly and polite but the wait time between courses was far too long. The presentation was beautiful, and if instagramming your food is priority then youd like this place. But form at the expense of flavour does not make sense to me. After spending $450 (on food + tip for 4, no alcohol) I shouldnt be thinking of hitting a drive through on the way home.
My only complaint is that I cant decide if I liked the food or the service better? First, the restaurant - Very bright and airy, comfortable seating and lots of room between the tables, so you can still have a nice conversation. The food - We did the Prix Fixe menu, and it was delicious. Lots of options, vegan, gluten free etc. Everything we had was delicious. I know it may sound silly, but one of the favourite dishes was the carrots. The dessert was also very decadent and a large portion The service - Admittedly, I eat at a lot of restaurants, and I am not sure I have experienced such kind, patience, and fun service in a very, very long time. We had two servers that were interchanging (its killing me that I cannot remember their names), and they were both outstanding. Good sense of humour, knowledgeable and very nice. They accidentally punched in one of our plates incorrectly, so we got an extra plate for free. They were so apologetic, when at other restaurants, you cant even get a sorry if your whole order is wrong. (Its the little things) Bonus - The drinks - We had a glass of the sparkling wine, a Paper Plane and a (very) dirty martini. All of them were made with care and tasted amazing. Next time Im in London, Ill be stopping by for at least a cocktail, if not the whole experience again.
One of the most memorable experiences. Kind and patient staff continuously work hard to make everyones stay feel special. The food was so incredible, I cant wait to go back and try all the other items I havent yet tasted. If youre in the mood for a quick coffee or dessert, try the Bodega next door. Really good strong coffee that woke me right up along with innovative earrings and T-shirts.
We had a wonderful meal here. There is a lot of attention to detail and care to crafting the menu it had a wonderful spring theme. The plates were wonderful combinations of fresh ingredients. This is a place you can try something different and you will most likely love it. Alex did an amazing job crafting us wonderful cocktails all night. You can tell he truly cared about the ingredients and the blends. They were all fantastic. I highly recommend this place for a meal or drinks and snacks.
Most amazing food in London! The food is spectacular and always completely unique, the drinks are wonderful, the staff are friendly and knowledgeable and the atmosphere is gorgeous. Honestly go here you will be so happy!!!
One of the most elevated dining experiences in London.
Very expensive for small portions and not so good quality. Environment is average. Longer wait time. The dishes look good tho.
Great food, great service, relaxed atmosphere! I shall return!
Had a delicious brunch. Great ambiance. Will def come back to try the dinner menu.
We went for Londonlicious and LOVED it. Such unique options on the menu they were all excellent. Highly recommend checking out this restaurant. There were options for gluten free, vegetarian or vegan.
Probably the best restaurant in London. Such amazing food and awesome staff. If you can, you should get a seat at the chefs table. Loved watching them prepare all the dishes. If you have a larger party, you can book their vault room; the space used to be a bank with a real vault still intact
Fine dining in a more relaxed atmosphere. Food was all interesting and flavourful. Well presented and courses told a story. We tried the place out for Londonlicious and would highly recommend. Price is incredible for the experience, good portions. Drinks can be a little pricy, but were interesting cocktails and paired well with dinner. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options are offered, and menu denotes items which can be made vegan.
Came for londonlicious. Some of the most interesting flavor combinations and best dishes Ive ever had.
Their rotation dinner course is worth it for the price since you can try lots of different things. They definitely experiment with their food and while some of them work, some are not too great. Their service is top tier however. Still a very great experience and worth a try regardless!
Went here for my partner and Is anniversary. They obviously try to do interesting things with the menu, and I can definitely appreciate that. I think the easiest thing to do here is to make a baseball analogy. Grace swings and swings hard. Sometimes, the swings turn out really well, and sometimes they turn out poorly. Zucchini fritters was decent and the sauces it came with were unique, but the fritter itself could have been crispier and better salted. Boston cream salad was crisp and refreshing tasting, but overall didnt leave a big impact. Burrata was excellent, very fresh. The apricot jam was delicious with it. Again, the tortilla chips were underseasoned and lackluster. The crudo was interesting but the whitefish itself didnt have a ton of flavour and the amount of roe was sparse (its saltiness was very needed to balance out how sweet the rest of the dish was). For the mains, both dishes, a whitefish loin and a steak, had questionably sweet components. Why does my main course need sweet mushroom jam, or compressed watermelon? Flavour wise it didnt make sense and didnt go exceptionally well together. Funnily, the smoked potatoes with the steak reminded me of how All Dressed Ruffles taste. For dessert, the lavender crepe was just okay, it reminded me of a worse lemon bar. However, the chocolate cake with miso ice cream was incredible, and oddly perhaps the most deep flavour-wise of anything on the menu. The cake was moist and fudgey, the ice cream both sweet and umami, and the sesame crisp on top gave the whole thing some great texture variety. Highly recommend both the chocolate cake and the burrata. Everything else was just okay to mediocre. Service wise, the servers were nice and attentive but each course took about 30 minutes to come out and so the entire dinner took over 2 hours which imo is way too long. Overall worth it? Im not sure, it probably depends on the exact menu they have going at the time. Theres sparks of genius in here, but the execution perhaps is on the fence. I liked it, but didnt love it.
Astonishing inventiveness in the recipes, almost to the point of craziness, but cooked so caringly and thoughtfully that the dishes are outstanding. Its the kind of restaurant I would expect only in major cities, and its a treat to encounter it in a place like London.
Not a great time to be honest. Dinner for 2, we both did the fixed course option Forced to sit next to the only other couple in the restaurant (e.g. poor seating by hostess) Portions were super small, artsy and mostly tasty but not filling (overpriced for sure) We waited over an hour between the first and second courses, forced to spend 2+ hours at restaurant to wait for all food to come out (would have been longer if we didnt ask for desert to come out quicker). Had 2 waiters - the first one got her clothes in one of our drinks (we claimed it was a fly to be polite), immediately given poor treatment for requesting a new glass and told any more would cost extra. The second one gave our food to the 1 other couple in the restaurant (contributed to the ridiculous wait time). First waitress watched as I selected tip despite poor service, VERY uncomfortable. Given 2 free drinks to say sorry, it was a very nice gesture but the drinks were so-so. The desert we ordered was unavailable because the table next to us (yup, same people aforementioned) took the last one since our order was sent to them by mistake and caused the long wait for food (BRUH moment) I hope service improves. For the unbelievable amount of money spent, the wait time and unwillingness to give us proper service is saddening.
I recently had the pleasure of hosting a corporate dinner party at Grace. We host these parties all across Canada in various cities. Grace really stood out to me. Service was on point, very friendly and attentive wait staff. The team at Grace not only accommodated our requirements for a custom 6 course tasting menu with a select wine pairing to compliment the menu, but surpassed expectation. Each course was bursting with flavour, and the selected wine paired so well with every course! Compliments to their Chef and Sommelier for creating a wonderful experience. And a huge thank you to the Manager and his team for exceptional service!
Sunday brunchs Huevlo is a complete rip off - minuscule portion and served warmish. Waste of time.
Great cocktails and service. Really appreciated the quality of the food and would recommend to anyone.
Ruined evening!!! very long serving, waited for more than an hour, then brought a dish with hair in the plate! the manager refused the request to give a compliment, and the owner said that everything was fine and stopped communicating! DO NOT RECOMMEND!
We had a fantastic dinner and evening at Grace. The food and service were excellent. We will definitely be back!
A hidden gem! Amazing food and service!!
My partner and I hosted our wedding reception dinner at Grace over the weekend, and the staff went above and beyond to make our day perfect. Brandon, the manager, worked closely with us during the planning process to ensure our guests left full and happy. We are so pleased and cant wait to visit again. 10/10!
The first thing you notice when you walk I to grace is the beautiful atmosphere and the warm comfortable feeling. You are then promptly greeted by one of their amazing servers and taken to your table. The servers are very knowledgeable about the menu they are serving and the food is fantastic. Cutlery is switched between each course and you never feel like they do not have time for you. No detail is missed at grace, from the comfortable seating to the very clean bathrooms. I highly recommend dining at grace
This is the first time in a long time a restaurant has wowed me. Everything was delicious, service was attentive and friendly and I like the atmosphere. You can have a conversation over dinner. Vegetarian options: Didnt compromise flavour or interest in the vegetarian dishes
Deliciously creative and well-thought-out dishes. Everything weve had at Graces has been delicious. We did their New Years Eve dinner - was super impressed by the food, wine pairings, and service so we went back. Again absolutely delicious and worth the trip! Weve tried both the set menus and the a la carte options and both are great. Id highly recommend the set menu with wine pairings for special occasions. Their fresh oysters are consistently good. Cocktails are always a hit!
Graceless waiter/manager Save your money and time. There are much better restaurants in London with as good if not better food and with exceptional service. We were invited for brunch to Grace by one of our mentees. After waiting for a bit and not being acknowledged, we sat ourselves after waiting our host. A waiter came by. He neither introduced himself nor asked if we had been there before. We were given menus and asked you guys want water . Our host asked for mineral water. A bottle arrived and three glasses poured without any interaction. We then just sat and waited. The conversation was enjoyable and time passed. No one checked in on us - with all 3 menus on the table. At some point, my wife felt we had been forgotten and our host was equally concerned. After about 15 min we elected to leave. We got up and even passed the waiter who never acknowledged us. So, we spoke to another waiter to let her know we were leaving and to pay for the sparkling water. She did not ask why we were leaving but wanted to know which table. I indicated the table and explained why. She waved the offer to pay for the water. In leaving, I asked if there was a manager. As a matter of policy, I rarely make public complaints. I planned to call the owner the next day and inform them. The waiter who was less than graceless piped up that he was the manager . He acknowledged that he had heard our conversation and dismissively said to me yeah, I heard you .. have a good day buddy! He then went on to ask didn t you see me getting the high chair for that kid.. I was coming up you guys afterwards . Seriously, the customer at Graceless is supposed to track the waiters? WOW! Even better graceless never apologized or tried to make amends. He just elected to attack the customer. WOW! We left. We have previously eaten had dinner at Graces. The food was average and the prices above average. The service was passable but nothing this awful. We will not be back. We did go to the River Room. The group felt the menu was far superior and the service was exceptional. The atmosphere is always fantastic. We wish Grace the best. It is in a location begging for investment. However, the gracelessness of their manager does not behoove well for their future. All the worse for London.
It was the best meal I ve had in the city in years. Pictured is an eggplant fritter with cheeses and herbs ( Garden frost ) on the menu. I had meant to photograph each dish as they came out, but I quickly forgot after the first dish because it was too good. Each dish was well thought out, plated beautifully, and all were unique. The portion sizes mean that you really should order the prix fixe of four courses, whereas a la carte ordering might leave you wanting.
I cant believe how long Ive waited to nosh at this stunning spot! Went for the price fixe 4 course and was completely satisfied. We tried one each of the appys, french onion/ tomatoe soup was awesome and the eggplant with cheese and arugula was so perfect! Plums with cheese and nuts was the next, and pork Belly to die for! Perfectly crispy with tender meat. Rainbow trout on apple and pearl barely was fresh and flavourful, and my spatzel with beef Mushroom ragout was such a blend of magical tastes. Buzz tart with chocolate ice cream was perfect but her canele was a beautiful sculpture that tasted equally beautiful. If u havent taken a cruise downtown London, this is def worth it. We parked in the Citi plaza two blocks away for 4 dollars, covered with security patrols.
One of the best places my wife and I had dinner in London! Really recommend the place, the food and the price for what is served!
UPDATE: Introducing the Late Night Menu at Grace Restaurant. 9-11PM. Tonight I stopped by to try out their Highliner: sourdough breaded pickerel nuggets, dill pickle packed tartar which I paired with the Rum Punch Cocktail. Delicious! I have been visiting Grace Restaurant since shortly after its opening pre-pandemic. I have seen the restaurant go through phenomenal highs and painful lows much of it beyond the control of the ownership and staff (this being an interesting time to live and enjoy fine dining) but few if any establishments have done so well in responding and adapting to the unique challenges facing the food/beverage and hospitality industry today. Glory to the effort shown and the magnificence with which Grace has risen to meet the challenge. Grace is its name and graciousness is its motto. We are in the middle of Londonlicious 2023 and none of the restaurants participating (I have visited them all) have embraced it as enthusiastically as Grace has. The 4 course prix fixe menu offering at $60.00 is spectacular and an homage to a kitchens capacity to delight the palate. Worthy of mention is their Puffed and their Full Moon (apps), their Coloured Glasses, Sea Garden and Baked (Entrees) and their Up Beet and Snow Mountain (Desserts). Now is the time to visit Grace if you have not done so before or if you are contemplating making it a part of your dining circuit. Grace is at its apex now and never shown more ambition. It is a unique experience. The service is on par with the food and the willingness with which the front-of-house staff meet the newly demanding customer base post pandemic is laudable. From the robust energetic management of Brandon - front of house manager and the thrilling cocktails masterminded by Alex - bar manager to the impeccable lattes and capuchinos perfected by Ivan - barista and jack of all trades (every good restaurant must have one) to the articulate and passionate presentations by Kyle - sommelier, it all comes together to produce a remarkable paradigm in service. Perfection is ellusive and service at Grace is the pursuit of it. In the kitchen the Chef and owner Angie continues to astound me with her creativity and resourcefulness. Her menus and presentations are elegant and thoughtful, her sense for flavour layering both explosive and cerebral. Angies kitchen team crackles with energy from the solidly dependable Ash to the savant like Rylan whos youth belies his remarkable maturity and then there is Roger the Pastry Chef whos desserts are always a triumph ... his Up Beet being my current favorite. Always seeking perfection and highly efficient this team is a delight to watch working from a seat at the bar if you are lucky enough to be seated there. I have made Grace my favourite restaurant in London for a simple reason: there is none like it in London. You too will see what I mean when you enter through her doors and take in the ambiance, drink, food, sounds and service. You could never be bored here. Visit Grace and enjoy as I have and do.
Excellent restaurant. The food is simply delicious presented well. We had the Graceful New Year and it was the best New Years Dinner. Second time at Grace, and we will be back.
Five star
Ive been a few times now, as well as as ordering from their pantry during the height of the pandemic. I admired their creativity and perseverance to pivot during the pandemic. Ive been for dinner and brunch at grace and each time my overall experience was incredible. Im still thinking about the apple bottom eggs benny I had. Quite possibly the best thing Ive ever eaten. They put so much care and thought into the menu and the presentation of the dishes. The service is always exceptional; kind, professional, and warm. Its evident that they all work very hard. The atmosphere of the restaurant is beautiful, comfortable and relaxing. My partner and I were very impressed by their sound system. I cant wait to return, thank you for all you do!
Awesome food, attentive staff and wonderful ambiance.
I had a perfect experience at Grace. I went with a friend to celebrate her birthday. I let them know about her birthday and my food allergies ahead of time. They were so welcoming and accommodating, ensuring that the experience was wonderful for both of us. Loved the five-course meal, the wine recommendation and the amazing service. And yes, every single course was this beautiful. Great portion sizes too. Cant wait to go back!
Amazing food, romantic atmosphere, I wish I could be there everyday for dinner!
Was an amazing experience dining at Grace. The duck breast was perfectly cooked and spicy to my liking. As the forth course came later than the dessert, we were offered complimentary sherry glasses.
Absolutely phenomenal - went for their Sunday Brunch with my partner - everything was cooked perfectly from the eggs Benny down the the hash browns - shout out to our server Hilary, who was pleasant, informative, and seemed genuinely happy and invested in her job. We will be coming back - please do yourself the favor and head to the cities culinary saving Grace
Location is great and for a Sunday brunch it wasn t too busy, so that was good. - French press coffee was so rich and delicious - Fish cake s Benedict were super tasty, the fish is fresh, and the sauce complements it perfectly. - The home fries are the right amount, and super crispy. The only complaint I can have is the time it took for out food to arrive at the table (when there wasn t a lot of people)
French toast was perfect. We also had the Huevos España and it was super creative and yummy. The vibe and service were amazing.
Incredible food, amazing cocktails, and super friendly staff!! Highly recommend to anyone in London! You wont be disappointed!
best farm to table restaurant in london and fantastic fresh cocktails. best served with great friends
The food was excellent. Unfortunately the service was lacking. Having not finished my entiree and asking for a take out of the remainder of my meal, it was disappointing that our sever did not return with my meal. For the cost, and having not actually eastern a majority of the meal, it was disheartening that the service did not recognize the error. For a restaurant of this restaurant and caliber, the customer service should meet the cost. Wishing it was a better experience considering the food and cost.
So good! I had a pleasant time there
We had a fantastic dinner at Grace tonight. The atmosphere was great, the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about all of the menu items, and the food was phenomenal. The dishes were all very creative and absolutely delicious. We will definitely be back!
Our experience was nothing less than amazing! We arrived 15 minutes early for our reso. We were greeted as soon as we walked in the door and seated very soon after. Angie (Chef/owner) did an amazing Job on displaying her talents through her amazing menu! We were also greeted and served by Alex. His service and knowledge of all the coursestplates and cocktails was outstanding. Alex was a pleasure to have serve us and converse with! We will definitely be going back!
Excellent very attentive servers. The food was delicious, and the prix fix dining option was a great deal. We tried the chicken and the gnocchi as entrees, and the smores and the Honey Bee desserts. I also tasted their french sparkling wine, and it was delicious. All appetizers were vegetarian and really good. Higley recommend this restaurant. We will be back!! Vegetarian options: All appetizers were vegetarian and delicious! Dietary restrictions: They accommodate vegan and gluten free needs
My wife and I had a truly fantastic night dining at Grace! Perfect food, service and structure. Not enough good adjectives to describe how excellent this restaurant is.
I loved Grace restaurant when my sister in-law had her bachelorette dinner there. The food was do delicious and the service was 5 star! I have a gluten allergy and I called the restaurant the day before to let them know. There was plenty of food to pick from and we all did the 5 course meal option. I cant wait to go back! The staff are so friendly and amazing! Great first experience for sure.
Celebrated our anniversary with a dinner at Grace. Went for the prix fixe menu as it was a very reasonable price. We were pleasantly surprised by the portion sizes of the apps and each one was unique and delicious. We had the gnocchi and duck as our mains and both were phenomenal and bursting with flavour. Same goes for the smore and peaches and cream desert. Overall it was an amazing experience and well definitely go back to try some new items next time. Highly recommended!!
The food is excellent and the service is beyond great!
Best fine dinning experience I have had in the City of London. The food was top notch and well executed. Some courses were simple ingredients but was executed with amazing detail. The Grace Restaurant is under rated and deserves more attention.
Oysters were great, our server was great, and the rutabaga ice cream was very tasty. However, my NY strip (although cooked perfect med-rare) was easily the toughest strip loin I have ever had in my life. My partners pasta was shockingly underwhelming and the portion was smaller than acceptable even if it would have been gourmet quality (it was not). 3 stars only because of the great service, I would not recommend this restaurant.
Food was amazing service was amazing, atmosphere was amazing.
An absolute delight. The team at Grace gets everything right - the food, the atmosphere, the service. Happy that a restaurant like this exists in London.
Amazing food, great service, and work very well around food restraints.
Wow...this place is amazing...the food was fantastic, this was our first time here, came with our daughter and son in law...our server Alex was very helpful and definitely helped us make the right choices.
Easily one of the best meals Ive had. Definitely the best meal Ive had in London. Service and food are high quality and the cocktails are surprising. Great as a group dining experience so everyone can share so everyone can try the amazing menu. Having gone back several times since 2019 with the new price fix style menu I stand by my belief that Grace is one of the best restaurants in London. Always great food with amazing service.
Great food, amazing place, very friendly staff. The two things I did not like were: the portions given the prices and the long wait time to get the food.
Would have rather put a 6-star rating. Solid Prix Fixe and my guy Alex came up with some cocktails that were absolutely incredible. Will be returning when I am back in town.
Love this farm to table restaurant. Super friendly service from the waiter and the sommelier. Ordered the Poison Apple cocktail which accented the Malpeque PEI oyster and whet the appetite for dinner.
I finally got to Grace for a dinner and did the 5 course prix fixe for $68 and I was very impressed. The staff were knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. The food was bursting with a wide variety of flavours all in the same bite. Presentation is top notch and the courses came well timed. It is a nice relaxed dining experience. It was truly a first class experience and the staff were very genuine. I was not fussy on the wines but thats a very personal thing. If you want an amazing dining experience go to Grace.
My friend and I went today and we loved the food. Shout out to Alex who was our server for the evening was very delightful. Everything is top notch. I cant wait to dine again.
The service was very friendly and helpful. The bartender came over to help my dinner companion select a drink when she didnt know exactly what she wanted. The food was good and very flavourful, however the portions were a little on the small size. It was a little on the expensive side but we would definitely come back.
Wonderful atmosphere, very pleasant staff, delicious food. A highlight of London.
I have worked as a Chef in Michelin Star restaurants in France and now live in Toronto, This restaurant would compete with any of them! Amazing. London is lucky to have this establishment Food
I strongly recommend going for the prix fixe menu since each exquisite dish is not very large. This is the type of restaurant where you receive a full experience of lovely presentation and favour. I was pleasantly surprised by the warm atmosphere of this restaurant; from the outside I had imagined that it might feel cold. Another great thing about this place was that theres no loud music so its easy to hold a conversation with your dinner partners.
Excellent food! Lovely, knowledgable server, with careful attention to detail. Our party was very impressed! Dietary restrictions: Very careful and respectful with my allergies! Impressive!
Food was very very good. Well cooked, great presentation, definitely thought out and it was all a delight to eat. Right now due to covid restrictions, it s somewhat of a prix fixe menu. I was very excited to try their ribeye and scallop dish. However with the options given, I tried the acorn squash soup, braised beef short rib and the cranberry tart. Although a short rib is not something I would typically order. It was delicious. The soup and tart were also very good. The only thing I could have done with was a little more of each dish! As I wasn t all that full. Aside from portion size, my two reasons that took this from a 5 to a 4 star, was the wine list, I really wish they had more options for a glass of wine. Sometimes you don t want a whole bottle of wine when you haven t tried any of their options before. So it s nice to have different glasses. They only have 1 white, 1 red and 1 rose to order by the glass. The other was, nearly the entire time we sat at our table for dinner, the booth directly beside us had an employee wrapping gift baskets. Using that clear cellophane wrap. It was such an annoyance to listen to for the better part of our dinner. I was disappointed the restaurant allowed that to go on while diners were present. I m sure it wasn t as bad for others but again being in a booth right beside it. It was louder than the music playing. Not something you expect to listen to at a fine dining experience.
This restaurant is beautiful inside with modern interior design and ambience. It has a extensive bar area with seating where you can see the kitchen. The cuisine is unique and refreshing, never disappointing. They always have something new going on. The staff are very friendly. The bathrooms are spacious, clean, and accessible. We enjoy every time we come here!
Grace restaurant is best for your special day Inside or patio, full course dinner or champagne with oysters . Always welcoming and patient, everything is perfect from glasses to interior, service is on really high level as well as food and drinks, actually as everything there Never ever disappointed!!! See you soon in July on our special day We love you guys so much
Living downtown, I had been eyeing this place for quite some time, however I finally managed to try it out. Let me tell you, it is absolutely worth it. The atmosphere is so warm and relaxing, the staff feel very genuine and you can tell they care. The food was just simply delicious. Elevated, yet straight to the point, I think they truly nailed it. I really love that their menu is hyper seasonal and changes often, and how they support small and local businesses. This restaurant truly cares.
Guys here are very nice and explain the menus a lot to me. They have fixed dishes everyday, looks so delicate and tastes delicious. Good place to spend hours with friends and enjoy the food.
I can not express enough that this restaurant is the best London has. We showed up for a late dinner, and the service was undeniably the best I have ever received. The Grand Prix 5 course is to die for, everything cooked to pure perfection. The rib eye, I am dreaming of it now. Shout out to Jordan our server, thank you for the best experience, Carlos, your drinks were delicious and your presentation was immaculate, big thank you to the chef and the rest of the staff who made our night amazing. My fingers are crossed that you guys bring back brunch in the future. To everyone else looking for a place to eat, if I could give this place a Michelin star I would give them all. Hands down always the best experience. YOU MUST GO HERE. 10/10 100/100 A+++++++ the best.
Pre covid meals were filling and delicious. Ive dined here many times, I brought a group of friends excited to share the experience and left feeling embarrassed. All were hungry after our meal, staff were not knowledge about wines and food. Meals were missing items, portions were not the same. For the price and leaving hungry last visit, I was not happy with my experience. The extra stars are for my experiences before covid.
5 star, A+ a truely fine, culinary experience. Highly recommended! Friendly staff :)
Simply delicious food in a more formal environment, very friendly and attentive staff.
Amazing raspberry points, and good drink selection for pairing! A bit noisy patio and not the most private, but the food is fantastic
Had a lovely dinner with my son. His meal was a little overdone the staff took care of it admirably. Exactly what you expect from a restaurant of this caliber. My meal was excellent.
Super great experience here for a fine dining. Warm service, high quality and amazing food. Must try the Green with Envy , perfect cooked ribeye :) the dessert is also tasty.Definitely would come back for visits!
Go if you have 6 hours to spare lol .food was tasty but the almost 1.5 hour wait for the first course, disturbing service and attitude from staff ruined the entire experience. There are much better places to eat in London.
This is the worst dining experience I ve ever had. I took them two hours for them to serve us our mains. We arrived at 8:15, sat down, and 25mins later they took our order. It took an 45 mins after we sat down for them to bring us 6 oysters. 45mins after that we still haven t got our mains. The server kept making excuses and giving us an attitude. They kept blaming it on us that we didn t order the priced fixed menu which, which is 5 items instead of 2 items each ordered. They mentioned that they are understaffed and it was a full house, why would you book a whole restaurant if you re understaffed??? You can tell from the faces of every single table that night the frustration. Not a single person that night looked like they were enjoying their time. I eat out 2-3 times a week and it s all fancy restaurants and I ve never had this experience in my life. Even if you go to niagara falls peak season the service is better. I m never recommending this restaurant to anyone. Everyone keeps saying support local businesses but not when u have to wait 2 hours for 6 oysters and and undercooked pasta. It s funny that a lot of good restaurants closed during covid and this restaurant is still open
Very bad service. Staff is rude and unprofessional. Food is underwhelming.
The food was terrible, the service was slow. They didnt have a menu, all they had was a 4 course meal, and the portions were sad. DO NOT EAT HERE, DO NOT EAT HERE, DO NOT EAT HERE! and to top it all off, the price was outrageous.
Great ambience, food and service. Angie is the best chefs in the whole world. Would definitely recommend giving the restaurant a try.
One of London s finest places for a great meal served up by true professionals who take pride in their craft. Local ingredients, a unique drink menu & recently named a finalist in London s Business Achievement Awards for Small Business. When I had a guest from out of town, I took them here. You won t be disappointed.
The staff are amazing! Always kind, courteous, and professional! The chefs who prepare the delicious food take pride in their work and it always shows! Nothing but wonderful things to say from my experiences here!
Amazing staff and delicious local food! You will not be disappointed dining here!
fab food, great service and lovely décor, would recommend to everyone
Easily one of the best places to eat in London. The food/menu is unique and creative, the wine selection is unparalleled, and the staff are knowledgeable, passionate and offer great service. They also created a wonderful online pantry that supplies alot of food and ingredients they use in house, or that you wouldnt be able to find elsewhere in the city. Highly recommended for a lovely night out.
Absolutely amazing experience , the food is always delicious and the staff are very knowledgeable and friendly . With a nice ambiance for a date night or a girls night out , I have dined here a few times with different company and each time it impressed.
I love the food at Grace - always and adventure for the taste buds! I ve been multiple time and love service and the staff! Thank you Grace!
Too many fantastic meals here to count! The food is exquisite, perfectly prepared and beautifully presented. Adam s wine pairings are always appreciated. I recently had a six-course dining experience that was truly memorable, made even better by the attentive service of Bailey, who ensured that everything about our visit at Grace was as good as it could possibly be. This culinary team thoughtfully prepares local ingredients and showcases the best of our local producers. Five stars doesn t seem adequate to describe what they do!
We really enjoyed the experience and the food tonight. Everything was crafted carefully and with lots of creativity visually and taste wise. Thank you for bringing a true fine dinning experience to London ON. Highly recommend the pre set menu.
Ive eaten at Grace a few times, with all great experiences. Staff are accommodating and the food is made with love and care. Ive also tried some of their pantry items throughout pandemic. All have been great.
This restaurant is not just restaurant, its a community in itself. I met Ange a few years ago and shes not just an amazing Chef, but a person, an entrepreneur, daughter and friend! We all try so hard in this industry to create something special and to provide for people and to make memories for others when sacrificing our own memories but we do it because we absolutely love what we do and wouldnt change it. Keep up the amazing work, food and creating a special safe place!
Just wanted to share what a fantastic meal we had. Every course was simply superb, especially the tarte tatin and the sous-vide chicken plate, both of which could not have been better. We also loved the desserts, in particular the mocha pot de creme (we even ordered a second one just to give it another go because it was so good!). Service was great, wine selection excellent. Truly a wonderful evening.
Another stunning evening at Grace Restaurant. I booked a table online and had a phone call a few hours later to confirm the reservation, plus check to see if we had any food allergies or restrictions. I mentioned we had a birthday that we were celebrating, and as soon as we were seated the waiter said happy birthday and offered to make a special mocktail for my daughters birthday. Beautiful touch! The evening, featuring a fixed price menu, was perfect for a slow and intimate experience that we all thoroughly enjoyed. Five perfectly plated meals, served up by a gracious and knowledgeable server. It was exceptional! Of note, the duck breast entree was delicious. The girls loved their rose hip and hibiscus mocktails, and the delicate salad course impressed with a sampling of heirloom sundried tomatos (similar to raisins, but tastier). Every course was presented lovingly with detailed descriptions by our server. If you are looking for someplace for a special celebration, this is it. Thank you for a beautiful night!
I think Grace is my favourite restaurant in London. Ive been here 5-7 times and its amazing every time. Fantastic food, wine, service...Love the Bodega next door too!
Had an absolutely fantastic experience here last week! From the food to the atmosphere everything was phenomenal! I dined alone and had a few friendly interactions with the wait staff, who were super knowledgeable and patient! It is an expensive place to eat, but trust me, one bite and you will understand why! Their chefs definitely know what theyre doing. Kudos to Grace restaurant and all the staff, you made me night!
Delicious dinner. Prix fixe menu, with a nice variety of entree choices. Even the pickiest eater in our party enjoyed all of the courses!
Amazing food and great service.
A true 5/5 rating for food, ambiance, service! Highly recommend!
Wonderful service, amazing food, felt very safe. Dinner for 4, we all had different entrees and they were all amazing.
If you re ever in London, ON, you need to try out Grace Restaurant. 10/10 for taste, presentation, service, and value for money!
This place is just wonderful! Between the kind staff, the cozy interior and the delicious food! You will not be disappointed!
My partner and I went to Grace to celebrate our anniversary and our server was absolutely wonderful - I think his name was Mike? We had a lovely experience and will definitely be back again!
Delightful and delicious!
Stellar experience for my first time at Grace! I ve been eyeing this restaurant s beauty through the windows from the newly finished Dundas flex street. The atmosphere is stunning! I love the decor, velvet banquet seating, comfortable yet stylish chairs and incredible artwork. The service was also top notch. Our server was welcoming, knowledgeable and engaging. He had as laughing and enjoying from start to finish. We shared several dishes but I highly recommend the seared brussels sprouts, fingerling potatoes and steak! The flavours were mouth watering delicious. I can t wait to come back to try more menu items. Thank you Grace!
The food is local and tastes amazing, the presentation is captivating and the service was friendly and knowledgeable.
Great food, great service, comfortable patio setting that feels appropriately distant.
Fantastic local business - Great food - great service and unique cocktails - looking forward to going again
Had a great Thanksgiving takeout meal from this restaurant. The presentation on the patterned ceramic plate was unexpected and so well done. And the food was delicious! I hope you may do more takeout meals in this nature in the future.
Extraordinary experiece! Every dish is like a mini adventure in your mouth. It is exciting, full of surprises and makes you look forward for the next one. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is cool and relaxing, you will never feel you are being rushed. This is one of the place you have to try in London if you have the opportunity and i can say this restaurant is definitely one of the best London can offer.
Had an amazing dinner at Grace Restaurant last night. Ribeye and scallops were done to perfection, chicken was delish. Rainbow trout was awesome. Staff was exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable with answering questions and offering suggestions. Recomend this dining experience to anyone with fine dining taste. Angie, youve done an amazing job during challenging times. Donna, Colin, Eva & Alex
I like the owner, and every staff person Ive met, I am vegetables to this restaurant, Im here frequently. From first hand experience, and second hand reports - the food is delicious. Ill be back for that too.
Dinner was delicious! We had the vegan tasting menu and it was so flavourful! Our server was great and the atmosphere was so cozy. I will be back for sure
While I have not eaten at this restaurant, their other activities were charming. None qualify more for that than their street booth that was a shining light in the subdued Christmas season of 2020. With a variety of foods, and crafts available during that time, this business efforts were so welcome.
