The best fine dining experience in London so far. Well deserved Michelin star. I’d say worth 2 Michelin stars. Big shout out to head sommelier Peter for exceptional prestige wine pairing which it is huge contribution to chef’s creations on the plate. Cheesemonger Alex had perfectly selected cheeses for us. And most importantly, it was beautiful to watch how the team together delivers top notch service. Well orchestrated place.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Ormer and it was a truly wonderful experience. From the moment I walked through the doors, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, with soft lighting and chic decor. The attention to detail in service was outstanding throughout the night. The menu was a perfect balance of creative and delicious - every bite was pure bliss! The recommendations from our waiter and sommelier were spot-on, and their knowledge of both the menu and the wine list was impressive. Whether you're a foodie looking for creative dishes or simply seeking a meal somewhere special, this place is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be returning soon!
I went here for my wife’s birthday and was so happy. The food was exceptional and the service wonderful. They have us some extra sweet treats for the birthday too.
From the moment we stepped into the elegant ambiance of Omer Restaurant in Mayfair, we knew we were in for an extraordinary evening. The private event was nothing short of spectacular, with every detail meticulously curated to offer an unparalleled dining experience. The customer service was beyond outstanding; the staff were attentive, professional, and truly went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. As for the food, it was a culinary masterpiece. Each dish was a revelation of flavors, beautifully presented and crafted with the utmost care. The ingredients were fresh, the seasoning was perfect, and the creativity behind each course left us in awe. It's not just a meal; it's an artistic expression that tantalizes the taste buds and leaves you yearning for more. Omer Restaurant has set a new standard for fine dining in Mayfair. It's an establishment that doesn't just serve food but celebrates it, creating memorable experiences that linger long after the last bite. A must-visit for anyone seeking gastronomic excellence.
Very unique dishes and extremely good service. The side of lamb main course is amazing. Highly recommend.
Had a lovely bday dinner with my friend last night - food and wine were so good and we went overboard with the cheese course too 😅 don’t get the stinking bishop cheese though it’s awful 🤣🤣🤣 fave course was the lamb. Cooked to perfection and of course as always love the canapés in the beginner especially the duck liver parfait!
One of our best experiences in London. We would say top 5. The food was divine, we went for the pescatarian menu. They change their menu often. The ambience is really cozy, quiet and nice decor. Nice selection of paintings. It’s definitely a place if you like art. The staff were very friendly, polite, and really treated me and my guests very well. It was my birthday and they provided the best atmosphere we could have. Definitely we will return and highly recommend Ormer. When you choose a place more refined like this one you really expect everything sparkling and perfect. I am quite picky with places and I couldn’t find one single fault. I would suggest just a piano as background, apart of that, this experience was perfect.
We dined at Ormer on the first night of a 5 day trip to London in January 2024 and it was a great start. The staff were friendly, very helpful and happy to chat between courses about our thoughts on the food. Each course was delicious and packed with flavour. From the generous canapes, deconstructed Waldorf salad opener, stunningly light barley brioche, richly flavoured warm Iberico ham jelly, via the cured mackerel, impressive 2 dish pigeon followed by the brown butter and chocolate dessert, right down to the petit fours we enjoyed the lot! The flavours were all distinct yet blended well. At the end of the meal we were given another petit four to take away plus a small signed and dated copy of the menu to keep- a lovely extra touch and something which just added to the experience. We'll definitely return the next time we're in London!
Every dish was exceptional. Peculiar but delicious combinations worked. Savor your time there and enjoy the food show.
Excellence.
We dined here for our 1st wedding anniversary. Everything was excellent: food, service, professionality. Honestly, one of the best dining experience I ve ever had.
Food was exquisite, service was excellent, great venue!
Cannot express how wonderful our experience was at Ormer. The Peters were incredible in regards to wine pairings as Sommeliers were second to none. Marco at front of house was just an absolute delight - and do not skip the Cheese Trolly experience with Mira. You will no be disappointed, it was an absolute delight and an experience I would not skip on your next trip to London. I m
Excellent fine dining experience!
Food quality and service were exceptional and one of my favourite wine lists in so far with its variety.
We really had one of our best times at the restaurant Everything was extraordinary The dishes, the non-alcoholic wine because I am pregnant, the perfect service We traveled throughout the evening between Morocco and Ireland We thank you for your kind attention Really thank you dont change anything
My wife and I were visiting London and wanted to go somewhere special to celebrate our 27th wedding. Our experience at Ormer was perfect. We had a lovely time.
Really nice ambience; service is superb and we enjoy the food very much. The tuma yellow chocolate dessert is to die for.
A well-deserved star to celebrate perfectly prepared, intensely flavourful, beautifully presented food. While some dishes are very dainty, leaving you wanting more of the delicate flavours, we did not leave hungry. The cheese board is extensive with some gems even a seasoned cheese lover might not have heard of, and staff are incredibly knowledgeable. Service is attentive and courteous, and the atmosphere is calm and classy, which makes a nice change from some of the brash, noisy places in London claiming the top spots for good food. Great cocktails, too!
For gourmets and connoisseurs who are looking for something special. The star chef spoiled me with creative and sophisticated dishes that were not only a visual highlight, but also exceeded my expectations in terms of taste. Every course was a new taste explosion that took me to another world. The service was attentive, professional and courteous and made my evening an unforgettable experience. I felt completely comfortable and can recommend the omer mayfair without reservation. A visit that is worth every cent and will be remembered for a long time. 5/5!
Last night, we had the five course tasting menu. Each course was superb:exceptional tastes and textures . We could not find fault. From the amazing canapés to the petit fours, each dish was a triumph. My only disappointment was that we had not ordered the 7 courses as I would have liked to taste more of the chef s inventive and delicious food. The staff were knowledgeable, congenial without pretension. I cannot recommend this restaurant more highly. One of the best meals I ve had - ever.
This is an exquisite restaurant, and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience! The service is brilliant, offering the perfect balance of attentiveness, friendliness, and knowledge. The menu is thoughtfully curated and balanced, with excellent recommendations from the sommelier. I certainly wouldnt hesitate to recommend it. Dont miss a drink at Manettas Bar, either before or after lunch or dinner.
Staff at this Michelin-starred gem were so welcoming and friendly. And the food was another level - surprised that they dont have more stars. Beautifully presented and wonderfully complex layers of flavors. Cant wait to go back.
Definitely the best meal of my life. Awesome service too!
It is hard to imagine a better dining area experience.
Every thing was perfect & they made my partners birthday very special!
Starters were very good Mackerel was bad Lamb was bad Wine selection was very good Atmosphere
Nestled discreetly within Mayfair, this gastronomic gem offers exceptional value and experiential richness. The Wine List is a journey through terroirs and varietals, guided by the thoughtful Sommelier, Peter. His expertise transformed sips into symphonies of flavor with the dessert pairing being exquisitely notable! We also decided to upgrade to the Cheese Trolley with Stefano as a delightful encore, showcasing his encyclopedic knowledge and impeccable presentation it was divine. From the initial greeting to the final farewell, every moment was crafted with meticulous care and attention. Dining here was a sensory voyage of meaning and intention, where each bite and sip left an indelible memory. In a city brimming with many awarded offerings, this restaurant stands as a beacon of distinction. Secure your reservation before this culinary haven becomes too hard to get in!
The veggie 7 course tasting was beyond delightful. The wine pairing was a wonderful journey or taste, history, and stories. It s all about the story and journey! To enjoy this time without feeling any pressure of pretentiousness, and feeling it is approachable is priceless.
Honestly one of the best value meals in London. Friendly, helpful staff - attentive sommelier and fantastic cheese selection. Will be back!
Cosy and a place to escape the busyness of Green Park and Mayfair. Food was delicious, the steak extremely soft and high quality.
Good quality for price, service was excellent. Food was too creative for our taste, especially in the mains and dessert which were not balanced and too experimental. The Asparagus (main) with strong vinegar aromas and a chocolate Millefeuille were the biggest disappointment in the menu which is why I would give 3 out of 5 star. The wine was decent. The music was not a good fit with the restaurant (think retro videogame music) which was very neutrally decorated. The plates and cutlery were very simple and plain in color but had a nice quality to them. At £79 per person it is good quality for money however for a better experience in a one star Michelin go to Hide around the corner which has a real atmosphere and where dish are more balanced. Vegetarian options: Asparagus
We had a wonderful culinary experience at the Ormer Mayfair Restaurant. I say experience, because one gets to know the staff by the name, elegant yet cozy interiors, lights that are dimmed and food coming at a pace that makes it really enjoyable. Before even starting the exquisite dinner experience, we had the chance of getting to know some of the wines and champagnes from the first class sommelier Piotr. The restaurant manager Lorenzo and his team are all very professional and funny. And then there is the chef and his team. Absolutely exceptional food that delivers both on presentation and taste. So many intriguing dishes made with only few ingredients is what makes a chef stand out from the crowd. One has three different tasting menu options able to please any requirements one might have. It should not come as a surprise to anyone that this hidden gem in Mayfair was awarded recently a Michelin star! Definitely we will eat there again soon!
Excellent 7 course menu. Would very much recommend. Newly Michelin stared so easy to get in on shorter notice. Well worth the price.
We have been really impressed by our experience at Ormer Mayfair. This is probably my favourite restaurant in london and i can t wait to go back. The decoration is beautiful, unique and very cosy. I suggest you start by a drink at the bar. We had a 5 course menu; it was simply delicious and so beautifully presented. Last, the service is better than in 3 Michelin stars. I suggest you ask for the table of 4 behind the curtains.
Will be coming back for sure
It s delicious and I think it suits Chinese people s appetite haha. The champagne was great and the service was great. I will definitely come back next time
My first fish & chips dinner in London. Good experience. Food was tasteful, large portions and friendly staff. Recommended!
Very friendly and attentive staff. Food was perfect.
Great experience, with great service and great food. We had the 8-course tasting menu accompanied by 8 selected wines. My only comment would be that my partners wine 8-course-menu only included 1 red wine and mine none at all. Food : 5/5
My wife and I went here for my birthday and had the 6 course tasting menu. Every course was superb and the service was attentive and friendly throughout. Highly recommended
Absolutely stunning food and service. Very impressive
Came here for breakfast with my hubby and cousin. Staff were very welcoming, attentive and caring. Well made breakfast with fresh ingredients and the atmosphere was lovely. I would recommend coming here if you are looking for something a bit more special than your average breakfast place in London. Thank you Ormer.
Very attentive service, varied and elaborate evening menu. The wine pairing was magnificent.
Excellent service and great tasting menu. We went on a weekday and it was very quiet but the service was excellent throughout.
We are used to dining in Michelin star restaurant and Ormer Mayfair will definitively be in our top 5 ! We really have been delighted by our experience here, especially the food associations :) Thanks again from France !
The food was cooked to perfection. Really enjoyed this place.
Extremely creative and flavor packed tasting menu with impeccable service for only 115
Dull pace yummy food
A charming café with a cozy and artsy ambiance. The baristas crafted expertly brewed coffee and served delightful homemade desserts. The eclectic decor and friendly staff made it a perfect spot for a relaxed afternoon.
My husband and I went twice for our birthdays to Ormer. It was an unforgettable experience. The food is outstanding and better than some food served in Michelin stars. The service was excellent: Matteo was our waiter, he was very professional, kind and very knowledgeable. Speaking to him was a real pleasure. The manager Lorenzo and the sommelier Josè were awesome to. We will come back soon! Thanks!
This is hands down my favourite restaurant in London - incredible food (the tasting menu is amazing) and excellent service (thank you Matteo!)
This place is something else. Not cheap at all but worth every penny. No a la carte, only tasting menus: including vegetarian. They do wine pairings but the very knowledgeable sommelier, Fabio, will guide you to some great wines by the glass if you give him some idea of what you want. Quite quiet with a limited number of tables but thats no bad thing sometimes. Service informed and spot on. Special occasion - give it a try (weve been twice and have every intention of going again). In Flemings Hotel in Half Moon Street, Mayfair.
We celebrated my partners birthday at Ormer and we loved the experience. The place is beautifully decorated, the atmosphere a retro vibe from the 40s, with lighting and decoration carefully thought of and designed. We had a five course menu paired with wine, the food was excellent with a special mention for the mackerel and the lamb, exquisite flavours and textures made in heaven. As for the wine pairing menu, the choices were clearly made to put all the lights on the food with a good balance of classics and less known wines. I really enjoyed it and on a next visit, Id love to see some more bolder options. The portuguese vinho verde, from the Loureiro grape and the Pouilly-Fumé wouldbe great additions :-) At last but certainly not the least, the service is exceptional. Friendly, very knowledgeable and attentive the team has my five
It was the most lovely experience. If you want a fine dining experience with a really comfortable relaxed, yet still very grand surroundings - you must come here. It was a truly remarkable evening. The dishes were something we d never tasted. It was the first time we d left a tasting menu feeling comfortable but fully content and well fed. The dishes just keep coming. There are plenty of fish dishes which keeps it light and you feeling good. It was unlike any tasting menu we ve ever had. The service was superb. We were wonderfully looked after. Our sommelier had great suggestions. A five star experience.
had a wonderful date night at Ormer Mayfair. Went for the full tasting menu which had a few courses that were recently replaced. All the courses were excellent, no exception. Well executed, harmonious, wonderfully presented dishes, some quite original. The service was great - attentive, well paced and friendly. The design of the place felt a bit old, and the music volume was very low to the point you can hardly here it with chatter from the other tables becoming more prominent. The music itself that was playing wasnt really around a different theme or genre. The speakers also sounded a bit flat. This should be improved. Other than that, a really exceptional dinner. Highly recommended.
Outstanding evening menu with great service and great wine selection
Meh. Way too many dishes with gelatin in them. Lovely atmosphere and attentive staff; the food just didn t live up to the hype.
The most amazing experience! I highly recommend. This was a special treat I will never forget. Food : 5/5
This was a memorable dinner. Outstanding in every way. Beautiful cocktail bar beforehand with attentive and wonderful service. The five course tasting menu is just sublime and an absolute must. Although there is a seven course which included two amazing sounded dishes on top. The canapés weren t only elegant and beautiful in appearance but lived up to to it in taste. Followed by the main event, all were heavenly and cooked with such skill and technical know -how. The chefs came front of house to describe dishes, a lovely touch and shared the enthusiasm of the food they have prepared. The wine pairing is just amazing with multiple regions covered. Again, all explained in a passionate way showing a real love for what they are doing. Informal atmosphere with formal dining, the perfect combination. The cheese board is a must (for cheese lovers) amazing and varied. Finished the meal with a wonderful desert which complimented the meal before it. Wholeheartedly recommend Ormer, ,how it is not Michelin Star is somewhat puzzling. Hopefully won t be long .. it thoroughly deserves it. Thank you to all at Ormer for making this a truly wonderful experience.
I had an exceptional experience at Ormer. The tasting menu was a delight, showcasing a variety of dishes with intense flavours. The staffs friendliness created a comfortable atmosphere, and the sommelier added a touch of humour and charm to the evening. Each dish stood out with its unique taste, making it a memorable culinary adventure. Highly recommended for a delightful dining experience.
Well worth a visit! Excellent value for money, the food was exceptional. The 8 course tasting menu was well worth it. Will be returning for the next menu change.
Michelin-worthy food and fantastic service in a well-hidden Mayfair dining room. Its tasting menu only (6 or 8 courses, with an optional cheese course). Every single dish was excellent so its hard to choose a favourite, but Im going to say the langoustine and the poached cod were at the top. Absolutely divine. And while its not cheap, its actually reasonably priced by Mayfair standards, especially when you consider its within a 5* hotel too. The wines were good but the food was the standout - although the red dessert wine from Uruguay was very unusual and delicious, and well worth a try. Top marks all round!
Wonderful food and excellent service. Manuel and his team were outstanding. The cod dish was one of the best courses imhane eaten. Flavour and texture were.wonderful.
The service and the food were excellent. I hope it gets a michelin star, it ticks all the boxes.
Great food, perfect ambiance, and excellent service. Its worth every pound spent!
An absolute pleasure to eat from sofian. Sergi and Lorenzo will take care of you effortlessly.
We chose the eight course tasting menu at Ormer to celebrate a special occasion; and it did not disappoint! Both the food and the service was absolutely fantastic. Such a memorable experience. We did not pair the courses with wine as we are light drinkers, but still, the sommelier asked us what what type of wine we generally enjoy, and made a recommendation of wine by the glass to enjoy throughout the meal. We will definitely return for celebration meals in the future. Absolutely incredible food.
Amazing restaurant ! Fantastic 5 stars experience , the 6 courses dishes is really tasty and full of flavours . Awesome service as well . Highly recommended
Great food and great attention to detail.
I came here for dinner alone. From the moment I walked in I was treated like royalty. I was a little early for my dinner reservation and they kindly escorted me to the bar for a pre dinner drink. When I finished they led to me to my table, located in the exact spot I requested. Every course was described in detail. They never failed to suggest the order in which to eat things. The flavors were sublime. The cocktails were delicious and expertly crafted. When I went to the bathroom, they rushed to open the doors for me. I truly felt taken care of. This place definitely deserves a Michelin star. I dined at a different restaurant that had a Michelin star the next night , but I can honestly say that Ormer was way better in all aspects. I ll definitely be coming back and I recommend it to everyone.
Excellent food really tasty good service and a good price too definitely coming back again
Great meal! The truth is very original and different, plus the SPECTACULAR service! Excellent attitude and very flexible. There are two tasting menus of 6 and 8 courses, we took the 6 course and it was very vast, we ended up super satisfied. They have a large cellar with a very wide selection of wines. Thanks for the great experience <3
Good quality lunch.
Amazing Food, Amazing Service!
Good atmosphere, very fast service, attentive staff and the ambience was amazing.
We had the 8 course menu and every course was delicious and all worked together very harmoniously! It feels like a real treat eating there and well worth the price, we would definitely go back for other special occasions.
High quality food, what was very disappointing was the sommelier service we needed to call him every time we needed more wine (with only 3 tables in the restaurant . His attitude was quite rude too (if I remember right his name was Sergio) on the other hand the manager treated us very well and you could see that he is very passionate about his job!
Modern British resto which changed my view of British food in such a positive way. The chef has a mixed background and you can tell from the dishes he produces with the team. Surprise after surprise! The dishes kept getting better and better. We had the 8 course meal. Their strawberry dessert was mind blowing. I wish I could eat it every day after every meal. I couldn t believe how good it was. The chocolate desserts were very yummy too. From a savory perspective, the lobster was incredible, the fried chicken awesome, osobuco superb, oysters yum, and everything else surprisingly delightful. The service was impeccable. Some of the best I ve ever had. The whole restaurant worked perfectly! An amazing experience! Tips - There is no a la carte, but that s ok. Have an adventure - The flavors are different and you may not have tasted them before. Keep your mind open ;) - Cocktails are delish
Fine dining , inventive , excellent price for this tasting menu
Awesome!!!
Correct and friendly service. Had the 8 course tasting menu.
Wonderful place, worth every penny
Not the best nor the worst experience, but expectations were not met. Had booked a brunch for 2 last Saturday. Staff was so busy on arrival that I stood at the entrance for a good 5 minutes, then was seated so swiftly I had to (call a few times) wait for a waiter to arrive and inform them I had a booking thus wasnt a hotel guest, upon which the waiter showed me to the table where my friend had been seating for the past 10 minutes waiting for me. Off to a great start, and it only got worse. We had to ask for a copy of the menu after being sat a good 15 min or so, our drinks order was not taken correctly so my friend had to wait an extra 10 minutes on top of the half hour it took to bring out a hot chocolate and a latte (which for some reason, first came out as mint tea). My small cup of hot chocolate could have been more aptly renamed as lukewarm chocolate - it was just shy of plain cold. However, it seems that my friends latte was not much hotter/warmer so I do wonder how they prepare their hot drinks. Now onto the plat de resistance, the egg benedict for my friend and smoked salmon for me. One sad slice of white bread, which tried to pass off as sourdough, nice scrambled eggs and a fair amount of smoked salmon. It was okay, not sensational, not even the best traditional breakfast/scrambled eggs I ever had. For the price and place, an utter disappointment. Service was painfully slow and the waiter couldnt wait to get away from our table (great vibe!), food was average, nothing outstanding to speak of and atmosphere was okay. I wouldnt go back nor recommend the place.
Amazing service, amazing food all round wonderful experience.
Amazing experience and good service
Very enjoyable time
Great long lunch with friends today ... 7 course tasting menu for both omni and vegan diets ... superb accompanying wine flight. A special thank you to the staff team who were friendly and professional. Thank you.
One of London s finest dining experiences. The food is simply incredible. I have eaten at many of London s best restaurants and this is at the top of the list. And the prices are so reasonable.
Food was wonderful! Lorenzo took care of us for a group birthday and was fantastic.
We went to Ormer for lunch yesterday for my sons birthday. The food was excellent and the service was impressive. The waitress that served us was super lively and as I need to rush back to work, the smartly suited friendly waiter was so kind to box up our Petit Fours. All the staff were brilliant! The food and service were Michelin Star , the price wasnt.
Delicious 6 course tasting menu and excellent service
Highly recommend Ormer Mayfair Restaurant. We have recently moved to the area and were very impressed. Big portions, delicious food, and great hosts. It has a very traditional family style ambience and we will definitely be visiting again
This is a very nice restaurant. Their food is very delicious.
The ambience was wonderful. We werent a fan of some of the dishes in the 3 course menu as the flavours were too strong for us and there wasnt a good selection but we still had a nice time and the service was great.
excellent.. i like it
Super good atmosphere. Super good quality food. Had a great time here!
Lovely 5 course set menu - service excellent
Beautiful decor! Amazing food!! Everything was perfectly seasoned. The staff are more than welcoming, wonderful service and warm atmosphere. I would definitely come again and I recommend it! Wonderful experience.
very bad
Good service and atmosphere
Such a good restaurant the food is amazing and we really loved every dish. Definitely go to this amazing restaurant. Beside the amazing food don t expect a lovely ambiance because to us it felt very stiff, no background music and the decoration/furniture should be a bit more modern if you ask me. But the food compensate this completely because it is so so good.
I visited Ormer Mayfair recently during a trip to London. I visited with my girlfriend and we both had the tasting menu and we opted to add the lobster as an additional course. And we both had the wine pairing to go with the tasting menu as well. We were welcomed by their staff and throughout the staff were perfect. And I would like to say our waiter, which was Dimitar, was amazing and friendly. Recommended!
How this place does not have a Michelin is beyond me. From food to staff it was outstanding. Tasting menu was creative and really took you on a journey. Overall fantastic. Would of happily paid double for it !
food was great service a bit random
To do, well done Chef....
I was expecting something good but this exceeded my expectations. I knew it was supposed to be like that as a Michelin Star, but not only the food was amazing but the staff too. Really friendly and we had all the explanations of how to it our food. Highly recommended
Wonderful food in a really relaxing atmosphere and the staff were very attentive in a very unobtrusive way. Really enjoyed our visit.
Overall a great restaurant; food , service; ambiance and value for money .
Great service! Pasta from the chef with truffle was too salty. Still, overall impression was very good.
Got everything right bar the food which was very disappointing especially being served raw Turkey
My husband and I enjoyed a magnificent tasting menu experience on Saturday night. We added the optional Prestige wine pairing option and although it was expensive, it was sensational! Every single dish was light, complex and a unique blend of flavours. The paired wines heightened each dish. Particular stand out dishes were the ceviche, the lobster ravioli and the deconstructed carrot cake. The waiting staff and sommelier were attentive and informative with feeling too fussy or formal. As its a restaurant in Mayfair, the price is ofcourse what you might expect from a Mayfair restaurant but the quality of the experience more than justify the price.
Cancelled by booking without giving a valid reason, no phone call or voice mail. Very very disappointed at this restaurants behaviour, dont know how a business survives by turning customers away.
Very nice service and food. Loved it
Had the wine pairing to go with the tasting menu as well. I was welcomed by their staff and throughout the staff were perfect.
Impeccable service from start to finish. Amazing well thought out fine dining courses. Each course was intricate, complex but delicious. Opted for three course lunch menu, bargain at 32 quid. Amuse bouche was great, followed by a beef capaccio, chicken dish and divine caramel tart. Great cosy interior and good ambience. One of best meals I have had in London, cannot fault them. Highly recommended.
It was good value, food was very tasty and the presentation of dishes are creativity and pretty.
Lovely food great staff good ambiance would go again
Great food, amazing presentation and wonderful service.
A very very disappointing dinner! We started at the bar and till we placed the first order the bartender looked at us as if we shouldnt be there. We got to the table and service for piss poor from the start. Right the way through the meal, I was waving about trying to get my guests wine glasses topped up. The poor service was topped off by a meal that was not top drawer. The starters were okay, but our Cote de Bouef (main) was astoundingly poor. One of my guests trimmed more than half of his on the plate, as it was inedible fat!! I hope they change, my experience was like that of a bistro that would cost 10% of what this did!
What a disappointment! I love the Samphire in Jersey so I really wanted to try the Ormer Mayfair, but in direct comparison it was just bad. I mean, the service was very good but the food and drinks wasnt. I had the tasting menu and unfortunately I have to say that it was one of the worst tasting menus I ever had. Most of the courses were extremely boring and a catastrophe in terms of taste. I also ordered 2 non-alcoholic cocktails and both tasted as if the main ingredient was just lemon. But worst of all was that the restaurant charged us the pseudo London restaurant service fee. I always tip people but for a restaurant like the Ormer absolute not ok. Too bad!
Wow, mega expensive and they know how to extract every last pound from you. Food just OK. Wont hurry back!
Lovely food great service we had a lovely evening
Amazing service and great venue.
Luxury restaurant in Mayfair. Very good!
Great food, great staff, great management what else can I say it was great, defo love to visit again.
Excelent food and service, well done!
Food absolutely smashing. 3 things important in restaurants - service, service, service. They got all 3 things right.
Staff were very friendly and food was delicious. Great deal for a 3 course meal with pairing wine and coffee!
This is my 3rd visit to Ormer and it never disappoints. The lovely Aga greeted me and my partner and even remembered where we sat, and what we ate last time. Just these little touches make you feel like you are part of a family and you know you are going to be looked after. The food, out of this world. The Head Chef, Kerth and his team truly knock out some banging dishes. This is the only place where I have been and whilst eating been in wonderment as to what certain flavours were and how they achieved this. Go go go to Ormer. Its worth every penny.
Excellent start to finish. Best service weve had in a while and an interesting tasting menu.
An exceptional place, service with very pleasant staff and succulent dishes, we enjoyed ourselves from start to finish. I highly recommend this restaurant, one of the best in Londes!
Very nicely executed dishes with good bottle service and very attentive staff.
Absolutely superb food and service
My favourite restaurant in the world!
Almost perfect!
Brilliant restaurant. Fabulous service, great food, would definitely go again.
Fantastic restaurant. Good and service are faultless.
Excellent food and attentive and impeccable service!!!
Wonderful food and service. Worth every penny.
Wonderful food, wonderful service, recommend to go
Brilliant food, and the service is good too, but dear God the staff is very annoyingly talkative. Theyre clearly catering to American tourists, but the common sense was a little lacking
Fine dining at affordable prices. Yummy.
authentic British cuisine
Great food, with a great big price tag. The good was all very tasty, but to be honest, not up to the level of, say, Raymond Blanc. The atmosphere was very Mayfair. Slightly stuffy and old money...
Excellent service, atmosphere and food.
Great seafood and friendly service
I visited Ormer Mayfair last week during a trip to London. Well worth trying if you are into tasting menus.
A lovely cosy restaurant with excellent service. I hade a 3 course lunch here. Very tasty and exciting flavours. The dessert was amazing! Waiters were super attentive and friendly. Maybe a bit too attentive. Coming back!
Delicious food and excellent service. One of the best places in Mayfair
nice food and service. best vinegar ever
Incredible food and wonderful service. An amazing experience all round.
Very good restaurant service a little too much!
Great food, great service...what more could you want??!
Carefully sourced British ingredients take centre stage in this wood-panelled hotel dining room.
Food is top notch!!
Excellent fine-dining restaurant! Food was lovely and service was impeccable. Our waiter Dimiter was very attentive. We recommend it!
Excellent, and attentive service!
Amazing!
Fabulous lunch, great food and service. Wonderful value, better than many restaurants that claim the infamous star
Had a great time. Food was great and service friendly and efficient.
Amazing dishes. I am not a sweet lover but loved it there. Good portion food and timely service. Wine marriage is perfectly suits. I should have taken a picture..,
Fantastic place! The food is exceptional, mixed with experienced, attentive staff with a more casual atmosphere. There is clearly a great team spirit at Ormer Mayfair, and as a former chef of 20 years, this is my to go place whenever I visit London. Couldn t say enough about it! Try the Tuna starter.. mmmm
Fantastic food and very pleasant staff. What a great choice of restaurant for our wedding anniversary! Well definitely be back
We love this place. We dont go often but they greet us as long lost friends. Food and wine list excellent. Not cheap!
Food was ok.. service was great but it was my birthday and they got my cake wrong and my name..
Great taster menu & accompanying wine
We had the set menu in the evening, it was good value, food was very tasty and the presentation of dishes are creativity and pretty. We had a very good time there. We would definitely go back and try their tasting menu.
Superb setting and exciting dishes. Flawless service
All dishes looked and tasted amazing! Loved the atmosphere.

Had the set menu for dinner. Good value. Food was amazing, service was really good and friendly. Enjoyed every second of our night.
Amazing food, great ambience and lovely staff. A true dining experiencr that I cant wait to repeat.
My grandmother loved it. The service was so attentive! Could not fault them on anything. Well done! The food was also amazing. I would definitely go back.
Great British cuisine with a twist and excellent hospitality by the wait staff the roasted quail, venison, lobster ravioli and desserts were absolutely delicious
One of the best dining experiences I have ever had.
The food was delicious. The service was amazing and the ambiance was warm and welcoming..
Amazing experience, the staff gave an excellence service and the food was delicious !
Overpriced for the portion size, plating is poor, the venison was passable but far from exciting or inspiring, the waiter was wearing a bow tie which kinda made him look like a clown - he was visibly unhappy about that, I think, making me wonder why the restaurant thinks its okay for diners to be waited on by Pennywise (its been almost 20 years of the 21st century - why dress your staff as it is the 19th?). The live piano was very nice. But I obviously wouldnt go back.
Great service and the tasting menu is a great choice. Food was excellent and the carrot cake was great!
I ve decided to visit Ormer knowing that they have a great head chef and they also recently won award as the best luxury restaurant in London. They did not disappoint. The service was on top, I felt very well looked after from the moment I ve arrived. The food was simply delicious, the flavours and presentation was immaculate. I can not wait to come back. Oh and I loved the live music. They do think about every detail.
Some of the best food in the area in a serene environment. Decent wine list.
Value 3 course meal at just £31++. Nice setting, great service and attention to detail
