Restaurant Story in London

The two-Michelin-starred Story, located next to Tower Bridge in London for many years, has delicious corn tortillas and soft corn kernels. The overall meal tastes just right and I am looking forward to the next one. The most creative thing is the butter bread. The candle is butter, which melts after being lit. It is fun and delicious to dip the bread into it. This restaurant is creative, tastes good, and has good service. I look forward to being upgraded to three stars.

Food was great and some of the waiters were great as well but all was tainted by the smellier. He failed to ever tell us about any of the wine pairings and then when asked to suggest some wines, he said he would go and have a think and then didnt come back until we had to actually ask them to get him (after some courses had already been brought out) He also was not very descriptive or eloquent when talking about the wine. Overall disappointing considering the extremely high price

We recently visited Restaurant Story for lunch in December, and it was nothing short of spectacular. Originally, we had hoped to book for dinner, but given its popularity, securing a reservation proved challenging. Lunch, however, turned out to be a hidden gem not at all busy, which allowed for an incredibly relaxed and intimate experience. The food was phenomenal, living up to every bit of its Michelin-starred reputation. Highlights were definitely the Sea Bass and creativity of the snacks - the rabbit sandwich and and oreo are to die for. It was made extra special by the head chef explaining the inspiration and story behind them. The service was outstanding, striking the perfect balance between professionalism and warmth. With the quieter lunch atmosphere, the staff had time to engage with us, sharing the history of the restaurant, the inspiration for the dishes, and even chatting about how theyre refining their coffee a nice personal touch! We were even treated to a little tour of the kitchen and the upstairs space, where the first-floor terrace and private dining room offer an ideal setting for a business meeting or an unforgettable party.

Really good menu... Innovative but also satisfying

Just had an amazing birthday lunch here on Thursday. The food was fantastic, playful and delicious. It s the best tasting menu we have experienced. Service was professional and yet still friendly. Can t wait to go back!

Tasting menus are not for everyone, but I do love them: I get to see what kind of artwork master artists can make using food as their artistic medium, and find out that even food I dont like can be delicious when prepared the right way. Absolutely phenomenal experience.

This was a flawless experience. From the moment we were greeted outside the restaurant until the last goodbye, no detail was overlooked. The sommelier prompt, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable. Food was of course creative and delicious. Service was engaging and fun. The hospitality and bespoke touches made it the most memorable experience. We traveled from Texas to celebrate and dine here and it didnt disappoint.

Surprise meal for my 30th, it was an experience. Story is one of those places where you are constantly awestruck from the moment you open your mouth. Every dish has a beautiful story behind it. There are some lovely surprises, and it is well worth the price tag. Highly recommend the drinks pairing alongside the tasting menu. When we were there they had specials of the day, and we had both (Truffle risotto and Langoustines! - 10/10). Easily the finest Michelin star restaurant I have been to.

Unfortunately I dont have the skills necessary to accurately portray how incredible this place is. The best food Ive ever eaten with the best staff Ive ever encountered. Only bad this is now Im spoiled to all other dining experiences.

My husband and I really enjoyed our evening here. Not somewhere wed probably have gone without a gift voucher from a significant Birthday but the food was just divine and full of different amazing flavours. A few later courses were so rich I struggled a tiny bit but they just had to be finished! Service was impeccable and relaxed atmosphere. Felt part of the restaurant family for the night as you meet all the staff. Thank you all.

We had a wonderful evening! We were able to make a last minute booking, and hadnt done much homework, so we did not know what to expect. It is a lovely, intimate place, with the open kitchen quite visible across the room. The staff are friendly, young, and very professional. We found the wine list to be full of interesting/unusual but delicious choices. The food was wonderful. The thought, detail and attention that went into planning and preparing each item was exceptional, with most dishes having a combination of colors, textures and flavors that was quite delicious. Yet the overall impression was not excessive as can sometimes happen. Of course it is pricey, and one always wonders whether any meal can possibly be worth it, but this was a truly memorable experience. My only comment (and disappointment) was that the music was quite loud, making it difficult to hear the staff when they explained the dishes, so I feel I missed out on part of the experience because of that. It was also a bit of an odd playlist- I would prefer calmer music without vocals, at a lower volume. Overall, a wonderful evening and a magnificent meal prepared and served by a talented and charming team.

Disappointing

Utterly sublime culinary experience with exquisite ambience and exceptional service. I was particularly impressed by the adaptation of the menu to suit my pescatarian diet.

Our experience at Restaurant Story surpassed all expectations. The food was exceptional, but what truly stood out was the impeccable service and the friendly, genuine staff. Every member of the team went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic time. The staffs warmth and humor made our evening delightful, without a hint of pretentiousness. We laughed our way through the night, enjoying every moment.I must give special thanks to Paola (?), our host, who graciously accommodated our late arrival - she was absolutely brilliant. From the front of the house to the kitchen, thank you for making our visit truly memorable.

Nothing short of mindblowing. Easily the best meal Ive ever had, the combination of flavors and textures was simply superb. Dovile and the team went above and beyond to make our visit special. I cant wait to return and try out the new private dining space!

A very good restaurant. The food was of the best quality and tasted excellent. All of the dishes on the menu were wonderful. The corresponding drinks (fine wine pairing and the non-alcoholic version) were impeccable. The service was always present without being intrusive, very friendly, polite and courteous. We had a very nice afternoon.

Sheer luxury

Such a fantastic restaurant and dining space. We had so many incredible dishes. The Paddington bear one was my favourite! will return, good value for money too and service was so attentive and thoughtful as it was our anniversary.

Outstanding service and food to match. Had the tasting menu + premier wine pairing and it could not have been better. Try the snail bolognese and beef drippings candle before they change the menu.

Epic lunchtime tasting menu. The food was outstanding. I have wanted to come here for a long time and it did not disappoint. The vibe in the restaurant is a little strange, as is the layout, and i wish the seating was higher up so you could see the kitchen brigade hard at work but the food redeems all of this. Creative, bold, unique, interesting, delicious! Date of visit: 13/01/2023 The dishes were highly sophisticated and it was evident that plenty of thought had gone into their development. The rabbit sandwich canapé was lovely; a perfect balance of sweetness and saltiness - a delicious meaty start to the meal. The chicken and oyster dish was great. Whilst it wasnt the most visually appealing of dishes, it was absolutely packed full of flavour and was a gorgeous, warm dish to have had on a cold January night. The cod with beurre blanc was sensational - one of my stand-out fish dishes. The fish was cooked well and it was delicious in every sense. The herb and fruit gels on the side added the appropriate amount of sweetness and acidity, which broke through the richness of the fish and beurre blanc, meaning you had a dish that was balanced and refined. Whilst I could see this dish was based on a French classic, I could clearly tell it was unique to the restaurant. On the whole, an excellent meal. The petit-fours were generous. Whilst some dishes could have offered more creativity, the taste was generally first-rate. The dishes here are highly original and the presentations are some of the coolest around - I doubt youll find any other restaurant using a bowl made to look like a snail shell and serving an edible candle made from beef fat (this was a messy dish but pretty good!) At a price point of £225 per person, it is slightly overpriced in my opinion, especially when considering the prices at other 2 and 3 Michelin star restaurants. However, I would be content to return.

Ran out of superlatives by about the fourth course Too good to put into words. Everything was amazing. Staff super attentive and friendly. Wine pairings were fantastic and the mix of wine a cocktails was fun and surprising. And the food was amazing. Sorry, doesn t do it justice but there you go.

Second lunch at Story. Phenomenal experience with some standout dishes. Snail porridge and the pigeon were highlights of the meal.

Vegetarian food is a hit and miss. Some of the dishes are really nice whilst others are a bit like vegetables thrown on a plate artistically.

Plating was great, food and ambiance is satisfying!

It s VERY expensive for what they serve. One of the courses was bread, which at other Michelin restaurants does not count as a full course on the tasting menu. The main course was a PIGEON with the feet included (disgusting) split for two people - you can buy a full pigeon for £5 and here we were paying £175 per person. Two of the desserts were ice cream served in unsophisticated tableware. I m used to trying Michelin Star restaurants all around Europe and this one was the most expensive I ve been to, but also the most underwhelming.

This was our first time at Story. Incredible food!! Highly recommended. Location: It is a very classy and elegant place. We were seated along glass wall, view from where is amazing. Food: The menu is handed to you at the end of the meal, which is perfect as each dish is then a surprise with a back story. Highlights for me were, Custard with a twist of pumpkin seeds and excellent oscietra sturgeon caviar, Scallops, Parker house roll and Rhubarb & Custard. Look out for Storeos (one of the snacks), you will fall in love with Story right then and there! Service: Staff is very courteous, knowledgeable and friendly. Though a visit by Chef Sellers to our table would have been splendid. Hopefully next time! Wine Pairing: I recommend going for a classic option which is a combination of cocktails and wines. This is by far the best pairing I have experienced to date! Drinks are carefully selected to match each dish. And they complement the food amazingly well. My favourite was Pedrino Pedro Ximénez Sherry.

An amazing experience. Tasting menu is totally unique. Definitely blew me away. So much so Im going back. Service was exceptional. The setting and atmosphere had the best vibe. 100% would recommend.

I was looking for somewhere special to take my husband for his 30th and Story came recommended from a friend. I rang up and was given a booking straight away (none available online). It was our first 2-Michelin-star restaurant (so adjust price expectations based on that), and it did not for one minute disappoint. Everything was delicately balanced and cooked to absolute perfection. As an ex-chef (not Michelin!) I have to say the kitchen was the quietest Ive ever seen! The chefs were like an army. We took the classic drinks pairing - absolutely no regrets, just fantastic, and I loved the inclusion of a couple of cocktails as well. The wine was paired so closely to the taste of the food, the difference was barely discernible. And we were treated like absolute kings! As the restaurant is small, the staff work in a clockwise manner and we were in the middle, so after a few drinks this did make us a bit dizzy but absolutely no complaints! Do not think twice about dining here. Thank you!

The moat creative and inventive restaurant in London. You must visit but be warned: It takes 3-4 hours. Sublime and ridiculously good.

We lunched here with friends a week ago. The food seems to have gone up a notch since our last visit. Excellent fine dining and definitely worth its two stars. With wine and service, we paid £250 per head, pricey but pretty much the going rate for this sort of experience.

Wow. Make sure you do the cocktail pairing too, out of this world. Really friendly and warm service too, wish I could afford to eat here every week!

Faultless start to finish! I could wax lyrical about the food, presentation, the staff, the tableware, the space, the creativity, the soundtrack, the theatrics, the drink selection, the service and on and on. It would be hard to know where to stop. This is truly food as an art form, poetic gastronomy. Star number 3 can t be far off amazing experience. We would highly recommend this place. It may appear expensive but in this case you truly get what you pay for.

As you would expect from a 2 Michelle star resturant, the food was amazing but the service is what elevated it from being a great lunch to an experience. We went for the tasting menu with drinks, for which you dont get a menu before your meal, but you do get one when you leave along with a pot of honey which was a lovely touch. Everyone who served us during our meal were attentive, relaxed and very efficient so the time spent at Story flew by. If you like fine dining would highly recommend a visit.

It is certainly an experience! Beautifully presented food which is very well cooked. The service is excellent. 10 courses prepared depending on your likes and dislikes with our without a wine pairing. All excellent apart maybe from the snacks starters which although very pretty seemed a little underseasoned

Sensational dinner in terms of food quality, presentation, ambiance, professional and friendly service. Not cheap but despite the cost we were left somewhat overwhelmed by the experience of the total package on offer. Will we return!? For sure, although might be best to wait for a menu change in order to savour more different tasty delights. Overall, above expectations.

The atmosphere is good though. The harmony of the dishes and the arrangement of the courses are inconsistent. I dont feel the story.

This was a great meal, the music makes you feel relaxed and in home. The food was delicious and loved the fact that there is a story behind each plate.

I have complex feelings about this restaurant. The food was very nice and the staff were nice. It is not cheap, but that s expected with London fine dining. However, it is meant to be a high end experience and I have two serious issues: (1) It was a couple of days before (which I appreciate is short notice) but I needed to delay because the person I was bringing was ill. I wanted to push the reservation back - we were definitely going to come - and they wouldn t let me. I don t get it because these things happen and I ve never had an issue before. I know restaurants need revenue, it just felt a bit pathetic when we were about to spend £1k on lunch. I ended up being forced to bring someone or lose hundreds of pounds and it takes the shine off when you come with a gun to your head. (2) There was some sort of data breach at the restaurant whereby fraudsters got my (and other people s) contact details. I now get called regularly with scams. Both of these things have tainted the experience for me.

Amazing experience. The service team was incredibly amiable, and Paula was very, very patient in explaining all the details in two Languages. The food offers you perfection in taste but also stories , visually perfect dishes and surprises. Congratulations

There is absolutely no surprise why Story has two Michelin stars. From beginning to end, welcoming service to check, our experience was incredible. Each course was more interesting and delicious than the next! The wine recommendations were superb - my husband and I ended up ordering two bottles! Our favorite courses were Chef s Oreos and the edible candle with bread - genius! Also: buy the oil! Also huge kudos to Dovile, the restaurant manager, for her stellar service and recommendations. This is not a restaurant to be missed in London.

Took my partner here for a suprise birthday dinner, on the table there was a birthday card with my partners name on it which was a nice personal touch. we went for the 10 course tasting menu, everything was very tasty! it is exspensive but your paying for top ingredients and the service was top notch each course had a story behind it, told by the waiters without them being too in your face all the time. The restaurant had a good ambience, the lighting was just right and the service was spot on. We had plenty of time to get through the courses and there were a few surprises. At the end of the meal we received the menu of the food we ate which was nice way to end the meal. Great service, amazing food. Well worth a visit.

Great concept, excellent food, wish I d gotten drinks! Restaurant Story delivers a tasting menu full of interesting, innovative, and delicious dishes backed by a compelling story. It was a really phenomenal experience my only regret is not splurging for the drink pairings! They looked even more interesting than the food.

Excellent restaurant, one of the best in London. Food is tasty and flavourful and the interior design is modern and minimalistic. The stereo system in the restaurant is also amazing!

Meh. Wished I d spent the mortgage payment of a bill somewhere else. Two dishes out of the ten were great (in the pics). The others were nothing special. The dining room lacks atmosphere - too quiet and a bit hush hush, like you re worried everyone can hear your conversation. A lot of effort has gone into creating a beautiful setting and eye-catching dishes. They re just missing oomph in the flavour department. The service was good, however. We went to Muse a few months ago and much preferred it.

Everything was yummy especially the snacks and the beef dripping candle was such a novelty. So full afterwards!

Some really nice dishes. We loved the tomato and caviar. One of the best dishes we had ever tasted. So fresh However some dishes were a little too traditional tasting eg the sweetbreads Not sure we would go again as the price was so high and there are better options in London. The service was exceptional and very organised and there was in particular a very smiley waitress who we loved.

Very fortunate for our family of 4 to visit Restaurant Story last night (2 vegetarians included). It has all of the elements that combine to create a very special foodie experience. Immediately put at ease the staff were attentive, obliging, happy in their work and were obviously enjoying people enjoying their restaurant, their food and the fruits of their hard work truly the mark of somewhere very special. The Fairground onions and potato with pickled wild garlic and coal are not to be missed - but then we truly enjoyed every course!

A wonderful way to belatedly celebrate 3 landmark birthdays that were all held under lockdown last year. The food was exceptional - flavourful, beautifully presented, with interesting and witty touches, and they were happy to adapt to our dietary needs. The staff were attentive without hovering, and we loved the menu and music playlist handed to us at the end.

My partner and I went here for a joint birthday celebration last night and it was phenomenal. We arrived and the staff were wonderful and attentive. The somelier in particular was attentive and knowledgeable of the wines and cocktails in the pairings offering insight into how the wines and cocktails were selected and how they paired with the courses. The food was exquisite. The mini snack course to start was delicious, Im still thinking about the tuna and tomato tartlet. The course names are delightful and playful (the Paddington was a favourite), and contained some really unexpected combinations that were tantalising. The drama of the candle course was outstanding, as well as the smells from the main course (pigeon) that we were shown before it was carved. The atmosphere was lively and not at all stuffy or intimidating. The music was very much a millennials going out playlist filled with vintage 00s-10s tunes which made the whole place feel really welcoming. All together a fantastic experience and well worth the price

Story s was recommended to me by a friend, we tend to only dine around central and west London- but it was totally worth the trip! We also found a perfect parking spot right outside. The ambience was really relaxing, a perfect date night venue. The staff were wonderful and incredibly organised, we really enjoyed hearing about all of the little details for each dish and drink. Some of the highlights of the meal were definitely the grilled oyster, our first time trying oysters warm and wow it really was delicious. The custard, cauliflower caviar dish was beautiful. The candle that melted and that was edible was a really fun touch, so creative! We really enjoyed the homemade honeycomb and the little fudge candies wrapped in edible paper. It was my first time trying rabbit and a squab pigeon, all surprises on the menu that I wasn t expecting! All in all it was definitely one of the best taster menus we ve had, highly recommended!

Always amazing

Story is a really special place. Sellers and their team somehow manage to produce magic every single time I ve been, without much in the way of repeats. Their pastry chef is absolutely next level, and deserves more recognition for their interpretations of stuff we had as kids without it feeling like a clichéd throwback.

It s been a while since I ve been but still the best meal I ve ever had in London. The drinks pairing is a must - they blend with the dishes to make another experience in itself - sommelier deserves two stars too! Look forward to returning soon

Amazing food and service. Really bespoke to mine and my wifes different preferences

A £750.00 Disaster. First of all the Menu is meant to be taylor made to each Guest this is not true. The restaurant seating is odd and you cant relax , The staff are a mix mash of people that dont fit the dining experience. The beef dripping candle is horrendous I have never eaten anything so awful. Our waiter spilt our oysters over the table and my fish had a piece of plastic in it which I was told was a fish scale and offered a extra plate, it was 100% not a fish scale , the settling of the restaurant is so cramped that if you where to kick up a fuss you would ruin every other diners meal. Me and my husband ended up having a argument because I couldnt believe how awful the food was and how expensive. Its a experience I will never forgot for all the wrong reasons. Dont waste your money

Restaurant Story was on my go-to places list when we planned our trip to London and we booked our table for 2 people for a Friday lunch. Reservation is a must and its not that easy to get a table for certain popular timeslots. It s located in a corner of a park and is close to the signature landmark of London, Bridge Tower. The decor is classy and elegant with romantic ambiance & beautiful furniture. The staff was well-trained, friendly and served everything in etiquette. I was in my 7th month pregnancy and they were careful about my diet restrictions. We both had their 7-course tasting menu ($130) and it was one of the best & price worthy dining experiences we have ever had. There was no menu presented, even online, since they would make adjustment based on ingredients available so every dish was a surprise for us. From amuse small bite, appetizer, bread, entree to dessert, we were satisfied with both the visual and sense of taste. The food was overall delicious, delicate and various with texture. Our favorites were Candle , which is bread with butter, and Duck , which is grilled duck breast & leg. We could feel how Tom Seller cares about what they serve and love the stories behind each dish, which was also the reason how they named the restaurant.

I wont post more photos because the menu is a surprise. But chef Tom and his team display an astonishing sense of balance in the food. It really is deserving of 2 michelin stars. But my big tip is you need to have the drinks pairing menu which isnt limited to just fine wines and thus amazing for its ability to take the meal to another level. Truly truly memorable dining....

Had an amazing dinner here! The food was delicious and the service was friendly and fun. We got the 10course menu and the cocktail and wine drinks pairing. This definitely added to our lovely experience. All the dishes were delicious but my faves were the lobster bisque custard with caviar (don t get the other cold caviar fruit salad choice, it does not compare to the custard) all the snacks at the beginning, the oyster, the cod main, and the beef dripping candle with bread! I felt the desserts were not the strong point of the menu. And the wagyu crumpet was a little too much crumpet and not enough wagyu. But we were also given a nice jar of hand harvested raw honey to take home. Overall an exceptional experience and would definitely recommend!

What can I say about this place - it s an experience not a meal! Fantastic flavours and great presentation! The service at this restaurant is one of the best I have ever experienced - very knowledgable and friendly staff. Story completely Wows you, some of the dishes were too pretty to eat... we went for the wine pairing, simply superb!

Me and my boyfriend went to Story for our anniversary in the beginning of november. When we arrived we were greeted most graciously and guided to our table. We opted for the longer menu with the cocktail/wine pairing, including the white truffle optional dish. The food was very enjoyable and perfectly paired with the selection of drinks the sommelier had selected for us. The staff were very friendly and made us feel at home right away. The sommelier also explained very detailed the wines to us, a lovely evening, we will return. From us to the whole team a big thankyou and till next time.

Very inventive menu. Highly attentive service. Excellent flavours and presentation. Interesting drinks list. Overall very good. Didn t think the £40 supplement for the white truffle risotto was worth it. Didn t think it was at the level of the other dishes.

One of a kind culinary experience through the story of chef Tom Sellers and British food. Beautiful setting as well in an open restaurant with glass walls. Went for dinner and had the 9 course menu, favorite dish was the grilled langoustine which was so tender, crisp and perfectly matched with a black garlic dressing. Most interesting dish was an edible candle with the most delicious bread baked by the restaurant. We also did the cocktail pairing as it had interesting spirits such as sake but still a fair amount of wine (and was a bit cheaper too!) - good balance of alcohol and food! Highly recommend for an special occasion.

One of the best meals of my life, they were incredibly accommodating of my dietary restrictions and the dishes and presentation were ingenious. Also, the only place Ive ever had a cocktail pairing, definitely worth it if you are remotely into cocktails, and probably worth considering even if you arent.

Once upon a time there was a girl who lived near Tower Bridge. One day she met Prince Charming who took her for dinner at what she thought was a library or some other form of unremarkable building near her flat. Little did she know that dinner in that building would turn out to be the culinary highlight of her year. 10 courses and a wine flight later, they lived happily ever after (and cant wait to go again). This tale may have made you want to vomit a bit, but Storys food certainly wont. The end.

We have an amazing celebratory meal here. It was the most expensive meal I have ever had but worth every penny. The 9-course dinner menu is an adventure for your taste buds. We had the vegetarian and pescatarian dishes, I expect the meat version is incredible. If you have a special occasion, try Restaurant Story, it will be a memorable meal that you will talk about for years afterwards. Quite simply the best dining experience we ve ever had! Mind blowing! Dined at Core, Zuma, Le Gavroche, Novikov, Five Fields, all the best places but they don t even come close to Story. Every dish was amazing and the whole experience was phenomenal. Every little detail thought out to the tee! Will definitely be back again and again. Thank you so much to Tom and the team.

As high-end Michelin starred restaurants go this is poor. London has a huge range of quality dining options and almost all at this price point are substantially better. - Food was fine - not badly cooked - but very little was ambitious or memorable - Prestige wines were average. Not signature wines and substantially overpriced. - Pairing didnt match well at all - Cocktails were appalling. Ordered an old fashioned and espresso martini - neither had the full range of ingredients or would have been passable at a Wetherspoons. Not quite sure how the Michelin star was acquired.

Booked this for our post wedding meal, and it lived up to all expectations. Amazing service, greeted by friendly staff who were always around ensuring we had good time. Food was amazing, they are quick to change things if you arent a fan or do not eat. My wife doesnt eat red meat so they changed the dish without a problem. They gave us a sma wedding gift with small treats and dessertsx very classy touch. Menu when guy leave is a nice touch.

Amazing! Some of the most delicious food I have tried. Staff were so lovely and attentive from the second you walk in. Presentation of every item of food was incredible. Loved it!

From beginning to end, the food and service were faultless.... certainly living up to its reputation and recommendations.... everyone on the staff and the amazing food journey combined to make an excellent evening meal for my 60th birthday...thank you and best wishes for a better 2021

Absolutely amazing experience. We did the tasting menu with wine pairing and was worth every penny. The food was delicious and even with my allergy there were no issues raised, I didnt miss out on anything even the little extra treats were catered in a dairy free version! The service level was exceptional too, very friendly and attentive. If your looking for an experience not just a meal out would definitely recommend visiting.

Excellent food and good service. I think they will get their 2nd Michelin Star soon, so go there while it s still a bit cheaper.

The food was generally good but nothing particularly wowed us. We enjoyed and found the drink pairings more interesting for most dishes than the food. For the money, I have had more memorable tasting menu experiences. Additionally, seeing the chef visit some tables and not ours made us feel a bit unspecial, even knowing it was a birthday. We got a birthday letter but expected that they would at least write Happy Birthday on the dessert plate. Lastly, we paid in cash (including 13% service charge) and they didn t bring us the change. Whatever the change is, it should never be assumed to keep it. Ultimately, we left feeling a little disappointed.

What a Story to share! We visited for a family birthday, and had a fantastic time with the custom menu provided by a superb team. The food was varied, and all beautifully presented, not to mention tasting amazing. The staff were friendly and pleasant, even feeling comfortable enough to crack a few jokes with, and about, us. Some wonderful wine choices. We were very lucky, and head chef Toms Mother was visiting, and we not only got to have a fantastic chat with her, but she also dragged Tom out to speak to us. An amazing meal, an amazing time and amazing memories!

If you havent been please ask yourself why not!!! Phenomenal My new number one eatery! Everyone should experience this at least once in their life...Im about to book for the third time! !

The highlights from our courses for me were the main course of lamb. We were shown our partially cooked rack, and then it was brought out perfectly cooked, accompanied by a smoked aubergine purée, potato galette and sweetbreads.

Cuisine selection: very creative, highly entertaining, and great looking Food taste: more on the interesting side, but lacks the indulgent sensation. A mixed bag of nice, so-so and plain disastrous Atmosphere and setting: young and relatively relaxed, good sunset view but ruined by heavy traffic around it. Imagine stepping outside a posh restaurant and having vehicle exhaust right in your face... Value for money: Poor, even if you treat it as a whole evening out than just a meal.

Brilliant. Deserves more than 2 Michelin stars. Better than most of the fine dining places weve been to and perhaps the best so far. Highly recommend!

Excellent food, well executed and very focussed on the quality of the ingredients. Give yourself time for the meal. Wine pairing was also very interesting.

A simply incredible dining experience. Not somewhere I could afford to eat every week, but Ill definitely be making three or four trips a year to this restaurant, because it was superb. Flawless.

What can I say except wow? Incredible food that tells the story of Chef Toms life. Amazing drinks pairings that go beyond the usual wine match, and the wines that they do have are unusual and compliment the dishes perfectly. Service is warm, friendly and approachable without losing Michelin star efficiency and finesse. Amazing experience and I cant wait to be back!
