Came here to celebrate my 60th birthday, food was very nice so was the ambiance and the cocktails, service was a bit slow but the manage Nico was very understanding and made my celebrations special. Thank you. I would thoroughly recommend this restaurant.

8 friends & family went for dinner Drinks were bland. Food was excellent. Server ruined everything. She was rude and miserable. Worst server we have ever experienced. The manager was nice enough to apologize and gave us some bubbles. Still, why he keeps her on staff is mind boggling.

: I am furious about the blatant racial insult my girlfriend and I experienced at [BOB BOB]. During our visit, a staff member called my girlfriend Ling Ling. I only found out about it after we left, which made it impossible to address at the time but hearing it later filled me with anger and disgust. Even if the staff didn t fully understand the meaning, using such a term towards a customer, especially on a first encounter, is unacceptable. What kind of service culture allows staff to casually throw around words they don t understand? Would you treat other guests with similar disrespect? This behaviour is disgraceful, and no one should have to endure such ignorance, especially in a restaurant that claims to be high-end. This incident is not only an embarrassment to your establishment but also an insult to London s diverse community. I demand immediate action to address this issue.

Not only our MEAL WAS FANTASTIC service provided bty Alexander and Alexandra , BUT.. My wife forgot her reading glasses at the table and we were back in CANADA, So we were so lucky to get in touch with KRISZTINA the head receptionnist, Krisztina brought the glasses to the post office (mail) on her day off and sent them back to us ! She is the most helpul person we have ever met ! BOB BOB RICARD has a GEM in their team :) Thank you so much Krisztina :)

Amazing place, really interesting decor, romantic atmosphere and great selection of food that was really lovely. Especially the 26 year old port was just mind blowingly aromatic. Great location and even better service especially Mr Peter at the reception. 10/10 would greatly recommend

Cant fault their menu. Its thoughtfully curated with ample options, although more vegan and vegetarian options would help. The pescatarian options are genuinely decent. Service is thoughtful. And the wine options, though not exhaustive but again, thoughtfully curated. The Jamaican rum is delicious and worth a final hurrah/night cap. Im going to be a bit controversial in admitting this, but the desserts feel lackluster compared to the starter and mains options. Perhaps my fault for choosing the black forest gateaux - felt more burnt than unctuous. The accompanying sorbet saved it from complete disaster. Atmospheric and psychedelic in equal amounts. Do be weary of getting too tipsy and struggling with the funky w/c. Staff are gracious and thoughtful and make this place a bit better than similar local options. More soufflés please! Beautiful restaurant, where you have dessert with the table not cleaned and with the salt and pepper shakers not removed from the table. A lot of apparent level and they stay halfway. Where they receive you making a statement and you leave completely ignored, and they charge you 15% of the tip directly shame about such a beautiful restaurant.

Lovely art deco interior. Highly recommend the lobster thermador with macaroni and BBR signature chocolate dessert. The waiters are also friendly and professional.

Attended a private dining event , a corporate round table conference, the ambience and setting for a round table discussion was great , overall experience was pleasant , the food was average

First of all, we were able to make a last minute reservation during weekdays which is already great. Staff welcomed us warmly and walked us to our already prepared table. The food is as expected high end in every sense of the word.

A wonderful experience, a special experience. I have not experienced such wonderful service in a long, long time. The staff were amazing, the food choice excellent. An absolutely wonderful night out. Definitely going back.

We went to Bob Bob Ricard for my birthday dinner and it was SO good. They were very accommodating with my gluten allergy and even made a special small gluten free dessert for me and brought it to the table with a candle. Highly recommend for an upscale dinner experience.

Had the chateaubriand. It was excellent, especially the jus with a side of mashed potato s. The cut was a bit modest for the price. Wine and scotch pours were super stingy. Dessert was great. The food and atmosphere were great, the value, not so much. This is a special occasion place.

An interesting one. No doubt expensively decorated and the service was great throughout but it was very quiet on a Wednesday so the atmosphere was muted. The jury is out on the food in that is was good not great and the prices did mean I expected a little more.. wouldnt feel the need to revisit

100% would highly recommend Private Dining for anyone looking for seamless service with great food and ambience. I cannot thank the Private Dining team enough. Our server was incredibly attentive, proactive and confident with the guests (she even art directed a photograph of all of us at the table at our request!). Guests commented on how great the food was and everything was served so smoothly and quickly. Shoutout to the Sommelier who helped me select wonderful wine - one of the guests said it was a great choice so thank you for making me look great ha! Also thank you to the concierge who was incredibly professional and gave our guests a warm welcome. Only other feedback I would give is that its worth sharing some clearer instructions on how to find the venue to the event organiser to then pass onto their guests. I didnt realise how difficult the venue would be to find and I had to send a last min email to my guests to direct them. Hope this helps!

I was very late on Saturday 2/4/24 but they were welcoming and patient. I had the best waiter. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was .

Really enjoyed our dinner here. We splashed out on high quality champagne which was reasonable compared to other places in London. The beef wellington was perfect.

Most unflexibel Restaurant I have ever seen! We made a reservation there because of a friend s B-day. The friend got sick totally unpredictable and we had to cancel on the morning of the booked date. They charged us for £200 because of the cancellation! Never recommend such a place

We ordered Beef Wellington in lunch for 2 person. Food is ok but the size was smaller than normal one. Salad and starter were limited size.

Food was not bad. We had the beef wellington. The service on the other end left a lot to be desired. One of the waiters gave my glass of wine to the table next to us and after about 5-6 mins, our waiter went to the table next to us, realized the drink was placed on the wrong table and he just took it from them and placed it at our table and walked away without saying anything. The person from the other table had already drank from the wine (we saw him take a drink) and when we called the waiter over to tell him that, he was very nonchalant about it. He did bring another glass but who knows if it was even a different glass.

Listen, first of all I have totally understanding for you guys running a business, but when you choose to work with living human beings, then you need to know sometimes life happens. My boyfriend and I should have visited you a couple days ago and were very excited! It was a part of a Christmas gift and a trip. But a couple of hours before our reservation I got food poisoning, actually so bad we had to contact my travel insurance. We tried to push it to see if I got better but I had to isolate in my hotel room. We called over a hour before and were VERY VERY sorry. But there was absolutely no mercy, no understanding, just - we will proceed with the 100 pound no show fee. No please feel better nothing! Again, I understand. I really do. But we are humans and we gave notice and wasn t just no shows . I work in healthcare and sometimes things just happens. And I don t think I was a problem for you to give the table to others. Sad, really sad.

I was in a private room, but was treated very well. The food was good. The service was good. Entering the Venue, and looking at the decor, it is amazing a very welcome addition to the city.

This is probably one of the most unique and perfect dining places I have been to (at a price obviously). Everything is just perfect: the staff was so good, so attentive and so friendly. We had to stop our waiter so that mu friend could use the champagne button once ;-) We had caviar, with their excellent frozen vodka, the onion soup, dumplings and of course the outstanding beef wellington. The meat was so tender and perfectly cooked, absolutely nailed it. The cauliflower with cheese was insanely good and so were the masked potatoes. Loved our Bollinger rose and a lovely red from Bourgogne, the lemon infused vodka and the expertly prepared vesper martini. BBR is an outstanding dining experience that is hard to beat. Will for sure be back again.

I cant wait to visit again. Been wanting to visit for a while. The drinks, the menu, the service - all fantastic in a great setting.We visited The City as there was limited availability in Soho and was a little disappointed. My friend was not impressed by the menu and only came along because the last place was her pick. She complained about the menu (shes vegetarian) about the location, about the elevator. However by the first bite she was in love. Every dish was executed perfectly - the wait staff were on point - nothing missed, great communication and flawless service. We ordered - Staritsky and Levitsky Reserve Vodka Shots Jersey Rock Oysters Truffle Potato and Mushroom Vareniki French Fries Truffled Cauliflower Cheese Limonnaya Vodka Shot Eclair 1988 Armagnac Plus cocktails and drinks.

A true hidden gem in the heart of the City! This is, to me, one of the best restaurants in London and I cannot recommend it enough. The food is always of the highest quality, the menu is perfectly balanced, the selection of wines and champagnes is incredible 5/5 for sure! And I was so happy with the surprise birthday cake, that was brought to our table with (a most appreciated) discretion, but sheer kindness.

I don t drink so can t say anything about their drinks. Food was okay, me and my bf were not a huge fan of their food but the service was good and the place was nice to sit and chat.

Gem of a restaurant in the City

We had dinner at Bob Bob Ricard last night and not only was the location very cool but the food was also excellent. Unfortunately, the waiters, without any charm, were a bit too hasty when clearing the plates. Nevertheless, we really enjoyed the culinary evening. Gladly again!!

Marvellous welcome by a helpful team who accompanied us to the lift and into the 3rd floor restaurant, a warm reception and greeting from the front of house staff, impeccable service, the best food weve ever had at a London restaurant, great choice of wine and champagne. All this within the amazing decor of the place. This was our first time at this venjue. It wont be our last

Good food, great service and has a really classy feel to the place

The champagne, the atmosphere, the food and the friendly staff were all on point. Went there for wedding anniversary and I recommend this place for romantic dates.

Food was delicious and the atmosphere was fabulous. I was not a fan of the waiter who kept impatiently clicking his pen and rushing us, not exactly the high quality service you would expect!

An opulent looking restaurant with a menu to match. I highly recommend the escargots, the onion soup and the beef Wellington. For desert definitely try the chocolate caviar, a very unusual looking sweet. The table has a button to press for champagne but is a bit confusing as there is a small menu with Armagnac near the button but no menu for champagne. In any case it s not very important and to me is just a fun gimmick. One thing I would recommend for the menu is to have a slightly expanded list of cocktails as they are all quite sweet. The restaurant also has a pleasant atmosphere and feels like you re in the cabin of a luxurious train restaurant. In addition very attentive and friendly staff buzz around you to make your dinner pleasant. Recommended.

If you like going somewhere to take a couple of Instagram photos or pushing a button so that you can be brought champagne, you will probably like this place. Much of the high ratings you see can be attributed to these factors. On our trip to London, where my wife and I went to 10+ carefully selected and pre-booked restaurants (mostly on the fancy side), we had the poorest experience at Bob Bob Ricard City. Food and drinks: it was good but not anything special for a fine restaurant. We had much better food at cheaper restaurants. Price: very overpriced. We had two starters, a beef wellington (for two) and two drinks. And the bill was almost £200. They even charged us both for the small bread-and-butter basket we were served when we arrived (to be fair, they asked if we wanted it). The next day, we had bigger portions at another restaurant for free. Atmosphere: the decorations were eye-pleasing but did not appeal much to us. It was just a shiny area you walked through and could not see anymore while seated. More importantly, we did not feel comfortable. The staff were nice and efficient but we both felt a vibe of slight pretentiousness that we did not like. I certainly did not appreciate the use of pretty ladies in tight outfits at the entrance. To me, that is a cheap move. I dont know, maybe some folks like that. Occasion: we were there for our anniversary (noted in my reservation). They did absolutely nothing in that regard. We did not expect anything, but other restaurants of this price range, always do a little something for people who are visiting for a special occasion: a small cake, congratulations by the staff, etc. If this restaurant was not so expensive, I could have given it four stars. We are prepared to pay extra for extra-fine food or quality food at a table with a good view (not pushing a button or some decorations, though). Overall, to us, Bob Bob Ricard City just did not offer value and the food was just normal.

I took my girlfriend here for dinner Saturday night, I had high expectations from the reviews I had read; i can tell you this establishment did not disappoint. The first impression after walking out of the lift that takes you up to the restaurant was spectacular, the staff at the front greet you with a warm welcome and your coats are taken by a well manner gent, then you are led to your table by another being shown any facility you may require along the way. Once seated we met our waitress for the evening; unfortunately we didnt get her name but none the less she treated us with care and her service was immaculate. We had three courses during our two hour dining experience, each one came out quick enough to enjoy but with just the right amount of time before the next to sup some wine and enjoy the beautiful ambiance and decore. I can speak for us both when I say our food and service was perfect, the wine glasses and water glasses never emptied the duration of the meal and we left satisfied having enjoyed some of the best tasting food we have eaten accompanied by a great choice of wine. I highly recommend you go and experience the faultless evening for yourself as words can not say enough for the restaurant and all the staff who work there.

Really lovely place to come for a special occasion, the deco is lovely and very details. The dishes we ordered were just okay, nothing fancy for the price. The service was a bit of a hit and miss, we waited 30mins for food and had to wait around flagging someone to take our order. It did get a bit more quieter later in the night. I didnt particularly feel like they really cared about us. However, I did tell them this was for a birthday in advance and they provided a mini cake with a sparkler which was a nice touch. They just serves this to the table without a warning and left so quite simple.

Really nice and unique restaurant, like a temporal capsule leading you into a cosy chic univers of old acajou sailing boats spirits, with really attentive servers in uniform and of course the champagne button! Food is really great and the menu is diverse! Definetly recommend!

Limited menu, pricey, but lovely experience.

What an experience!!! As soon as you step off of the elevator you are made to feel special. The service from the bob bob richard team is exceptional.. your glass is never empty and they know exactly who orders what. The food was out of the world. I had Salmon Tartare for starter . the depth of flavour in this dish was just unreal.. Steak Haché for mains.. every bite was absolutely mouth watering & my duck egg was cooked perfectly. The bellini s went down well and the breakfast tea (i didn t have dessert) was a nice way to finish off a truly enjoyable night. Honestly, I d come back to London just to solely come back to this restaurant Absolute perfection is all i can say. Thank You

Could not fault it. The staff are very welcoming. The food is divine. The surroundings are fabulous. All in all an experience worth having.

The restaurant is so cool with its Brasserie vibe and is very fancy - one to dress up for! The portion sizes are small and prices are ridiculous. Asked if we wanted bread, said no but got charged £4 for it. Got charged £5.95 for still water which is unbelievable and the £17 cocktails are tiny. My partners duck was way too salty and thus not very nice to eat. If you can afford a 3 course meal its a cool venue but the food quality, portion sizes and prices are disappearing, unfortunately.

Staffs are not really nice.

For a fixed 15% of service charge, which amounted to £40, I expected better service. Not once did a waiter come to the table to ask if everything was okay. Only at the end when we were finished with the whole meal we were being asked if the waiter could get us anything else. Obviously they wanted us to ask for the bill. It was only 21:30 by then. Nobody helped us with the jackets afterwards and the porter also did not press the lift for us. The press for champagne concept is cute. Food was nice! Only the beef Welligton lacked a bit of juicyness in my opinion.

Everything was devine. To enter you go up in an unmarked lift, but there was security to direct you.

Great food, great service

First off, you need to get the lift up to the restaurant, I d like you all to know that because I walked round in an elaborate circle 3 times before one of the (very lovely) doormen shouted to me you going to Bob Bob, love? Which I appreciated very much. The atmosphere in BBR City is perfect for both date nights or catch up dinner with friends. It feels chic, grown up and deliberate. What I mean by that is that everything seems to happen right on time, with a lovely flourish of class. The staff were excellent, it almost made me feel like we had the place to ourselves. Plus, I didn t see lots of instagramming , which was fabulous and if that can be left in the Soho site, mores the better. In terms of food, it was delicious. Usually I am against a posh chicken Kiev on principle, typically the people making them give you better quality chicken but less butter and garlic - and who wants that! Not Bob Bob, he gave me both, amazing breaded chicken paddling in the perfect amount of garlic butter. Truffle mash and Negronis also wonderful.

Bob Bob is a very specific experience. If youre looking for quick, attentive and careful service, great food and a champagne button - its the right experience for you. If youre looking for a lot of variety in your food, or a low pressure dining experience with a lot of friends - its not the right place for you! Most tables are small, and the menu is quite limited (with a total of 3 options for vegetarians, one of which is offered as a side or a mains). Many menu options are just different fillings in the same style of pie or breading so your entire table will look and taste very similar - which may not be what you want in a restaurant. That being said, they are excellent at what they offer, with great champagne, well made pies and brilliantly presented food. I loved my time at Bob Bob, and I know exactly what Im getting the next time I head there. Vegetarian options: Theres very few vegetarian options on their limited menu, so do go in prepared to taste truffle. That being said, the truffle is amazing and they do offer it in a vegan preparation as well, so ordering food here as a vegetarian is very quick!

Fabulous restaurant that luxuriates in its own over the top decor and infamous press for champagne button. Its done with good humour and thankfully not stuffy. Look forward to going again sometime. Real occasion restaurant!

Its a little too corporate dinner vibe.. Very personal opinion. Food is good, not to die for lets say 7/10 (if you dont adjust for the price & v small portions...) cocktails are very good. Service is brilliant. Its the place Id go back to for an easy uncontroversial biz dinner.

Nice food but expensive. Service was rushed and borderline rude. The waiter cleared our plates when others on the table were still eating. They rushed us to order dessert ans rolled their eyes when I we ordered a dessert to share. Service was 15% which seemed crazy! The decor was thematic and stylish.

*The doorman at the bottom of the escalators is hopefully not affiliated with BBR coz he was incredibly rude (wee man syndrome vibes) when we tried to go up them (which isnt the way to the restaurant).* The elevator behind that is what u want, and that doorman was very friendly and full of banter. Stunning restaurant. Immaculately clean. Very friendly staff. Service was excellent. The food was very good too. I went for stuff I wouldnt usually go for (coz I was being fancy ). Still not sure what I think of Lobster Bisque... But Id still recommend trying it. The Lobster Mac&Cheese was also interesting, still not sure if it was to my taste. But it was quality and well presented. The Flaming Crème Brûlée was excellent, and they gave us a wee chocolate mouse tower for our anniversary . My partner had the Cheese Souffle which he liked. The Chicken Keiv was the best he had ever had, and he got the Apple Tarte Tatin. He liked that but the ice cream was too boozy for him. I had cocktails x2, he had 3x glasses of wine & 1 glass of champagne. All in, this was just under £300. It was worth it and I would go back. The bathrooms were very clean. Good date atmosphere. I would say wear at least a Polo/shirt or you might feel under dressed. Wheelchair accessibility: There is a lift up to the top and no stairs inside. Looked wheelchair accessible to me.

The food and drinks were immaculate and we loved the location and the atmosphere. But our server Kevin really stood out and made the whole experience perfect, we loved the service and how chill but yet professional he was. We felt taken perfect care of the entire time and we ll definitely come back the next time we re in London!

Having visited Bob Bob Ricard when guests were recently visiting London from abroad and wanted an exceptional experience I had no hesitation in recommending. Unfortunately the location in Soho was fully booked so I tried the City location and was certainly not dissapointed! Everything about the experience is fantastic, the service, quality and flavour of food and menu offering simply cannot be faulted. This is without doubt the pinnacle of dining in London!

The decor is the thing you notice first, its a very unique place. The booths were great and added to a real sense of privacy. The staff were very polite and professional. They even helped us out by increasing the table time as one of our guests went to the wrong branch. The food was very tasty! I highly recommend the Salmon en croute!

Quality service and dishes, the setting is sublime. We had lobster dishes and we were not disappointed. The servers are attentive and make sure you have a good evening. This restaurant is an experience to be had if you come to London

I had a fantastic meal at Bob Bob City! Jacob was our server, and the service he provided was outstanding, it was almost the best part of the meal. We had the vodka shots to start, perfectly cooled to -18 degrees, then had the heirloom tomatoes, truffle dumplings and salmon tartare for starter. All of them were good. For the mains we had the beef wellington and the chicken and champagne pie. The beef wellington was excellent and would recommend pairing with the truffle mash. The chicken pie was good but wouldn t get again. Great experience overall and would come again!

Wonderful evening of fab service and great food. Quite a special experience. Everything about the decor felt extra! The champagne Button actually works. But the biggest shout out has to go out to the charismatic, Hilarious sweetheart that was the security guy (one with the glasses). Saw us up in the lifts with laughs and kindness. Gave us the all round 5 star treatment. Thanks Bob Bob. We will be back!

Weve been to the Soho outpost of BBR a few times and always loved it, and the City edition is just as wonderful. If anything the decor is even more over the top. At every stage during our visit we felt so well cared for but the staff, who were friendly and attentive. The food was (as expected) phenomenal. Its not a cheap eat, but for creating a sense of occasion its definitely one of Londons best options. The French Onion soup was ridiculously good. Vegetarian options: Plenty of good and interesting options on the menu for vegetarians Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is accessible via lift and its all on one level.

Portions have definitely reduced since our last visit, on 1 course by about 40%, 3 varenaki instead of 5. But still very well cooked and presented with excellent service. Id rather they charged more and offered the same size of meal if Im honest.

It s was a Friday night pre bank holiday weekend so was quite empty. Nevertheless it s got the cool champagne button to get their attention. Interiors are quite different in a nice way and quite unique/ glitzy and glamorous :) A huge champagne list as well Didn t try the food as we had drinks only ! Glass of rose Moët was £24/- Good place for celebration and if money is no object then definitely a good shout !

Went with my sister from Italy and had a great experience and love everything about the place and food from start to finish. The service was amazing and so was the food and wine. Tasto and fine cuisine and the wine just perfect. We will back for sure. Food : 5/5

Highly overrated. I booked a table for 6 for a friends birthday. Our reservation was at 20:30, two of us had arrived on time and the rest of us were about 15 mins after. I receive a message while enroute that the waiter is rushing them to order because the kitchen shuts at 9pm, the confirmation email said last food orders were 22:15. When I arrived, great friendly security and desk host. I spoke with the manager who gave me some stupid excuse that they were shutting the kitchen at 21:00 to get ready for the 21:30 sitting. He did let us order however the restaurant was dead and by 21:30 we were one of about 6 tables in the entire restaurant area. Our waiter was rude, barely spoke to us and just tried to rush every decision, the food was average and the cocktails were some of the worst I have ever had. The aesthetic is the only thing that sells the venue.

The food, the service, the atmosphere all amazing! The restaurant reminds me of the Orient Express with its sleek interior. The service was top-notch, never felt rushed, never felt ignored. I was annoyed that they charge for bread (and olives) for the table I feel like that never used to be a thing restaurants did. We got the stake tartar imperal, which was grand, the Mushrooms Vareniki, which was just okay, for starters. For our main, we got the Beef Wellington with truffle mashed potatoes, and oh my God, it was amazing! I loved every single bite, and woud definitely recommend it. For dessert, we got the BBR Signature Chocolate Glory, which was also great!

Do not make a reservation here if you are a tourist! Food is excellent but the reservation policy is terrible, worse than the best restaurants in New York. We had a reservation today and missed our flight into London - called 12 hours before the reservation and couldn t reschedule during our trip so had to forfeit the reservation. They charged a $200 forfeiture fee.

A nice place. I enjoyed the interior decor and subdued lighting. Fun playlist too. The food was tasty and on the whole fairly priced for what you got. Service was attentive but not over bearing.

Loved this experience from start to finish. We stopped in the opulent bar area for a glass of champagne before dinner. (Of course we pressed the press for champagne button). We felt like we were on the Orient Express and the service was impeccable. Oh and the food...Im still dreaming about it. It was so hard to choose what to have. I had the tomato salad to start, along with the sea bream, truffle fries and creamed spinach. Every mouthful was an absolute dream. We did spend £300 between the two of us ( a big treat for us!) But you absolutely dont need to. In fact we ordered the cheapest bottle of white (£40) along with our meal and it was the tastiest wine Ive ever had. 100% going here next time Im in London. Vegetarian options: Good selection of veggie and vegan options.

I ve been wanting to come to BBE for years, and my first visit today was a revelation. The food has been well documented, but the real win is the service and value for money. Ask for Nico to serve you, and be gently fondled into luxurious submission by one of the best in the business, while getting angry at every other restaurant you ve ever eaten at for giving you far too little for far too much. Every time I feel like spending on a somewhat-to-very special night, I m coming here. Compliments to the Chef.

It was an ok experience. Too expensive for what it was but the service was great. The food was ok not many gluten free options.

This is one of the rare restaurants that when you go there it defines what a culinary experience should look like, in short, I can say that it was a wowwww experience all around but you ll need more details, so here they are; Finding the dedicated lift was a bit confusing maybe because I didn t expect a dedicated lift but there were plenty of guards pointing me to the right direction. The ambience of the restaurant, even as you just step in, radiates quality and great taste in design. From the receptionist to the waiters the service was professional, attentive and well placed. When it comes to the food, every portion and every bite was a culinary delight, We started with the Vareniki which were as wonderful as the mushroom source they were served in, it was so good that we didn t want to leave a single bit of source on the plate and we used the wonderful baguette to wipe the plate clean. We then continued to share a beef Wellington, you have to look at the picture I m going to attach, how they have cooked the meat to perfection is nothing short of a work of art. As a side I took the Truffled Mashed Potatoes, it was by far, miles away from any other side I ve ever eaten. Usually, I would skip a pudding but given the quality of the first two portions I decided to go with a Tarte Tatin and I wasn t disappointed (personally I didn t like the ice cream so I just ignore it) As expected it was expensive, with three portions and drinks we paid around £150 per head but with a very worthwhile experience we were both very happy with. It s been a while since I left such a glowing review, i will certainly be back, I have to check what else is on the menu (assuming I can resist the temptation of repeating this exact experience again)

The decor and ambience is stunning but the food is ok. We had the champagne pie and chicken Kiev. My husband was really poorly afterwards and up all night. He only had a small sandwich for lunch from Pret, so it must have been this place that made him ill. The food was incredibly rich in garlic and butter. It wasn t bad food but it wasn t great either; I would give it 3 star but the food poisoning has made me give it 2 star.

Well, rather disappointing overall! The restaurant itself is sumptuous and superbly adorned and embellished; which is an experience in itself. However, we went on a lunchtime at about 2pm and there was hardly anyone there; so lacked any atmosphere. The waitress was very attentive and everyone we spoke to there was very helpful. The food was a big disappointment, in fact I would say ordinary, which was a shame. We had a party of four and we were all rather underwhelmed by the experience, considering the cost. I dont think we would go back!

Went there for a friend 18th birthday. The food was delicious, the interior was stunning and the staff were fabulous. Definitely try the salmon tartare, truffle, potato & mushroom vareniki, beef wellington and vodka shots at -18. For dessert I would recommend to go for eclair and the crane brûlée is yum. It s a place for special occasions for sure.

We heard the Tiramisu was great here, so we came to try it, and indeed it was unique and fantastic. We only came for dessert, but next time we will be back for a full meal. The atmosphere, servers and vibe were all 5 stars, but until we experience a full meal I can only give 4 stars.

Whilst we really enjoyed our time in this restaurant I shudder at the hidden costs. would you like some water and bread? yes please that would be lovely Come the bill that cost £22. Please dont offer if it actually costs... Just say thats a cost extra. The food itself was lovely but again was also suprised that all sides were extra. At £6.50 per side a champagne pie with chips and two veg came to over £40... Thats a lot. Pie was beautiful. The stinking bishop souffle was amazing. Others had chicken Kyiv which looked lovely.. The French onion soup was incredible but the cheese was difficult to cut through. It was so tastey. The sweet tarte tatin was also very nice. Attentive staff. Great surroundings. A very unique experience. The toilets were incredible. Would I go again. Yes I would but I would be prepared for the extra costs. I like beer but there was only a choice of one which was a shame I know London has many restaurants but this was so different and really worth a visit

Beautiful restaurant with great ambiance. I took my sister and friend there for their birthday celebration. It s expensive but great for special occasions. The staff were very polite and friendly, who were happy to chat to us about drinks and gave food suggestions. The champagne button on the table makes the experience all the more fun. I made sure to press it at least once. The only thing I didn t like was that when we ordered bread for the table they charged me for 3 portions, whereas we didn t ask for 3 portions. Good food, though maybe a little overpriced. Excellent wine list, decently priced. Very good service the night I was there - friendly yet professional. Also, incredible decor. Worth a visit for that alone. Only issue is the exposed ceilings. Doesnt mesh with sophisticated art deco and lets the side down somewhat.

Very nice escargot starter, good fancy place to take friends. But main and dessert are not that of satisfying, it is not bad but quite average.

Beautiful decor and interior design with great atmosphere. This place was highly recommended to me by friends. I brought my girlfriend here for our one year anniversary but unfortunately we left rather underwhelmed. The food was nothing exceptional, definitely not blown away by the portion sizes or the taste. The cocktails were really nice, but overall for £180 for 2 people, it felt very disappointing. We ordered 1 Steak tartar, French onion soup, their famous chicken kiev and an imperial tartar with 2 sides. We both felt slightly sick after consuming the food and had to end the night early. Maybe another time with different food choices would work better. Not that impressive for the cost.

Went here with a group of friends. Really enjoyed the decor, wine, and our food, but the service was horrible. Every time we ordered our waiter rolled his eyes at us as if we didn t order enough even tho my friend and I got the most expensive thing on the menu plus appetizers. The set up of the restaurant is cool with the booths and lights on the table but no joke the food runners had no idea how to get the food down on the table so every time something was delivered we were being handed hot plates or it seemed like it was all going to spill on us. I m sorry, but that is not how you should be served at a fancy restaurant. At the end of the meal I asked our waiters name - to consider making a complaint - and only then did he start chit chatting with our table, and it was weird and unwanted flirtiness. Also only one person ordered bread and specified just she wanted it and they charged it for us all. The espresso martinis were great tho All in all, service did not match the price and I was disappointed

Have visited Bob Bob Ricard Soho previously and loved it. This City location was just as good, if not better! Absolutely gorgeous interiors; they have really captured the Art Deco essence without making it look tacky. Service is faultless. Staff is very attentive and if you ever need their attention you can press the press for champagne button. Food was incredible as always. Beef wellington was 10/10 - highly recommend ordering. This is the perfect location in the city for a date night or special occasion. I will definitely be coming back.

Private room. Food was great. Definitely recommend the Beef Wellington with sides. Service was also very good though we were in the private room so it s hard to say from our experience whether the service in the main room would be just as good. Extensive wine list with a capped £75 markup is great if you have the budget. Beautiful ambience and decor.

Not worth the money we paid

Went on 18th Dec and had the Chicken Kyiv and truffle mash - divine. Service was amazing and the decor was picture perfect. Will be back soon.

Everything was great but the cheese souffle, it smelled lovely but lacked the taste and saltiness that Id expect from a cheese souffle.
