Savoir Faire Restaurant in London

Mario poked after us so well..after a very bid deception from the restaurant 2 doors down who gave me a booking but when I turned up after almost an hour and half drive , was told they can t give me a table ! Mario promised us the best service.. he was polite and did everything he could to make our evening better food was good .. and he went out of his way to please every person not a fancy place but much better to have the good food and amazing service!

Service was great, very lovely staff. Food: Mussels (starter) - portion size was small and not enough sauce. Chicken supreme - very good, chicken tender and sauce was not too rich. Seafood linguine - good but sauce too buttery, heavy on the palette. Crepe with Nutella/Strawberry - delicious, didn t skimp on Nutella.

The duck was lovely and so was the steak. However, weve both had better. The service was excellent and their selection of wines were fab! Ill be back!

It s very difficult to book a restaurant in London during the Christmas season, but we managed to drop into this lovely place. The food was great, and the service was excellent. However, the interior could use some renovation as it feels a bit worn out. They also need a new lighting design dimming the lights slightly would create a much cozier atmosphere.

Really poor experience. Booked for a Christmas meal, but they hadn t registered the booking so I suspect the food was a quick fix. The photo says it all. It was meant to be a starter. Don t go if you actually want to enjoy good food. Or know what good food might look like.

We were very disappointed by this restaurant, having read the reviews. When ordering, we checked a few times that the spinach and tomato fettucine was vegan, for my vegan daughter. The server confirmed it was. She then ordered the French onion soup (and the fettucine). The soup clearly states on the menu that it is vegan. Not vegan option available, but that it is vegan. When my daughter was served the soup, there was cheese on the bread on top of the soup - not vegan cheese, regular cheese. So she sent it back and they returned with a plain soup for her. My husband and other daughter ordered the caramelised onion and brie tartlet. They said it was tasty, but lukewarm, but didnt want to complain and return it. The tart also came with walnuts on top (not shown on the menu, and a potential problem for those with an allergy to these nuts). I had ordered a vegetarian pizza and asked what vegetables are on it, as I cant eat peppers (I have a food intolerance to them). Peppers was one of the vegetables, so I asked the server if I could have the pizza without peppers as I cant eat them. My husband reiterated this to the server, who confirmed, no peppers. I know readers can guess what happened when the pizza arrived - yup, there were peppers on the pizza. I returned the pizza. Staff removed the peppers and gave it back to me - complete with little indents where the peppers had been. I returned it again, as I cant eat all those areas where the pepper juice had been due to my intolerance of them. They then remade the pizza for me. My husband and daughters all ordered the spinach and tomato fettucine. As already mentioned, we had had a conversation with the server when ordering, that the pasta was vegan, and he had confirmed it was a vegan dish. The first two bowls which came out had cheese on. So I reminded the server before he brought the third bowl out, that my other daughter was vegan, and he said, yes, I know. Five minutes later, her pasta came out, so we suspect that they had already put cheese on top, and had to redo it. You cant just pick off grated cheese like you can pick off peppers on a pizza. However, all of my family said the pasta was overcooked, and pretty tasteless. Two of my family ordered desserts - a crepe and a creme brulee - and they said these were good. We wouldnt return to this restaurant, as the food was only mediocre, and because of the mistakes made with the food. To their credit, they did fix each mistake and were polite and gracious with it. *there was also no hand soap in the ladies toilet, so thats a hygiene issue.

Do not be fooled by the reviews. This is a terrible dining experience. It was cold, the table was rocking, there was a strong smell of detergent and there was cleaning products left right next to our table. However that was great compared to the food. Really, really poor. The service was also a disgrace.

We went there for Xmas meal. They did not serve us till half and hour despite the fact there were no customers. Food was awful. My risotto was as soo salty and no taste. Waiters didn t know what they were doing I would never go there again.

We had a decent experience at this restaurant. The food was reasonable for the price though nothing standout. The service was actually quite slow despite the waiter being borderline obsequious. 4.5 stars seems inflated based on our experience and is one of those places where the rating is so high simply because they ask you for it.

A warm atmosphere with friendly service. The food came out fast, and the goat cheese salad was spot on, with the cheese caramelised. The carbonara was also fantastic, and I loved that the waiter brought Parmesan to the table without me even asking. As a French person, I really enjoyed the meal and will definitely be back.

The staff was very friendly and welcoming, which made for a pleasant atmosphere. However, the food didn t quite live up to the prices. The entrecôte was disappointing it was so chewy that it was hard to enjoy. The veggie lasagna, on the other hand, was tasty and well-prepared. Overall, it s a nice place, but the quality of the food could be better for what you pay.

Amazing food right in the heart of London! We got carbonara and the duck, and both were delicious. Duck had really crispy skin and tasty sauce, and carbonara was so creamy! Big portion of the pasta too. Would love to come back!

We dropped by one weekday afternoon for pizza (Margarita) and drinks. The service was great and i love the cozy atmosphere.

On a cold day in London, the food and service was exceptional! My sister and I enjoyed pizza and wine. It warmed us for the evening walk home.

Not the place it used to be. Overpriced. Niçoise salad was fridge cold and the tuna was tinned yet it cost nearly £20. Overall, we were disappointed

This is a wonderful French restaurant, and I make it a point to go here whenever I am in London.

Fantastic find! Superb salmon dish, one of the best I ve ever had. Pesto pasta was also excellent. Our server Fawaz was very attentive and friendly! Great experience all around. We will be back!

Restaurant where I eat the evening I arrive in London for tourism. Near where I live its a bit of a retro place. Good dishes, over time I have tasted different alternatives, good service (if the waiters do the serving, a little less the waitresses). The furnishings are nice but not excellent. However, it is worth trying the cuisine of this restaurant because it has something different from all the others. Vegetarian options: There are options for vegans which are clearly marked. Parking: You cant park in this area of London if youre not a resident Kid-friendliness: Suitable for children Wheelchair accessibility: There are no architectural barriers

Came here after going to the theatre, staff were really friendly and made you feel comfortable, beautiful interior with comfortable chairs. The food was great. We shared garlic bread to start which was rustic and tasty, and the steak entrecôte was incredible, perfectly cooked and seasoned, and for £25.95, a steak of that size, chips and a salad was amazing value, I ve never eaten a steak that size for under 30 pounds. Would definitely come here again, as it seems like the sort of place where the atmosphere attracts more high end customers, but the fair pricing attracts students or theatre goers.

Terrible. I know the reviews are decent but, went in, the waiter didnt seem to understand what I was saying, stood far too close, and smelled of sweat. Ordered cocktails, 2 for £15, only to be told the cocktails, need to be the same cocktail. Never heard such nonsense in all my life and flagrant misrepresentation on the board outside!!!! Ordered the first starter, a reason we decided to go in, only to be told they didnt have it. Left immediately...weird and pants experience. Would not recommend although the other waiter was very courteous.

Popped in here after a day of shopping down Oxford Street. Loved the cocktails! I can recommend the pornstar martinis they were fab. Had a few side dishes for nibbles which were really tasty I would have no problem returning for more substantial food another time. The staff were very welcoming and really looked after you. Good place, nice staff, good food and drinks.

Me and my girlfriend came here on a spur of the moment fling and were greeted by the manager named, Fawaz. His service was an absolute 10/10, from his demeanor, personality, and table service. Ready to accommodate my girlfriend on any drink that may have been too bitter, he offered to add sweeteners for her and was able to keep pleasant table conversation. We re not locals and he was able to make us feel right at home! Not to mention the 2 for 15£ margarita special that they had going on (must be the same drink). I highly recommend anyone stopping by to grab a drink! Or even just too meet Fawaz!

I strongly recommend this restaurant to you, you will have tasty pasta/pizza, starters(very good mussels), and nice staffs, good service. Visit it after finishing the tour in the British Museum!
