Experience the heart and soul of Greek and Mediterranean cuisine at Meraki, a vibrant restaurant and bar located in London's Fitzrovia. Our menu features chargrilled meats, whole fish dishes, and mouth-watering mezze plates, all prepared with heart and soul. Whether you're joining us for lunch or dinner, you'll enjoy a special gastronomical dining experience in the heart of London. Come see why Meraki is a top destination for foodies in the city.
The food was all incredible, from the dips & starters to mains and dessert! The pagoto ice cream was 10/10 and definitely enough for more than two people. The cocktails were delicious too. We went on a Saturday, and the VIBE was so much fun. The restaurant has great music at night and then a club downstairs to continue the party!
My 1st time here and would highly recommend this place. Meraki offers a vibrant and authentic Mediterranean dining experience. The menu showcases fresh, high-quality ingredients with a delightful variety of dishes, from flavorful mezze platters to perfectly grilled meats and seafood. The ambiance is warm and inviting, with a modern yet rustic design that complements the cuisine. Attentive service adds to the experience, making it a great spot for both casual dining and special occasions. A must-visit for Mediterranean food lovers.
This place is amazing, good music playing yet you can still have a romantic conversation with your significant other. The cocktail list was fun and the drinks were delicious. The food tasted wonderful. Only grip was the drinks went down fast and wish they came out sooner with the next one.
Alright modern Greek food. Everything was relatively quick to come out, except for water. We asked for sparkling, but we were told they may be out, so we said to bring tap water if they were out of sparkling. Our starters and alcoholic drinks came before water, so we asked another waiter. Our original waiter came back and said they were out of sparkling water. We had to have the same conversation again to get tap water. While it was busy on a Wednesday night, I expect the servers to at least remember water. The starters were quite tasty, but the main was a bit disappointing. We got the fish, and the fish itself didn't have much flavor. Most of the flavor came from the side veggies - which was delicious. Overall, an okay, quick place for dinner, but I probably wouldn't go back or recommend as there are plenty of other options in central London.
With all the reputations of restaurants in Fitzrovia, this place also didn't betray me! Amazing high-end Greek restaurant with an aesthetic decor and delicate food. I recently went to Greece for the first time and I still remember all the restaurants I visited there was my favourite. But I'm quite surprised that Meraki is nothing worse than them, and they rather made it to the dining experience :) Everything we ordered had an aromatic and complex flavour and this is something I paid money for, the flavour I can’t easily copy at home ❤️ The staff was very professional and I enjoyed every bit. I guess I will come back for dinner with some extra budgets 😋
Reservation in advance is essential. We visit at weekday dinner and the restaurant is packed. Having to call waiter several times to take our order. The food is excellent! For starters, we have aubergine melitzanosalata (flavorful, strongly recommend), spread platter (a bit bland, not recommend), chicken kebab (done excellently, so juicy, can’t go wrong). For main, we have Lamb Chop (mediocre, would not order again), seabass (whole fish, 1kg, very well cooked, the flavor is well preserved and presented). For sides, we have cauliflower and broccoli. They are both done beautifully. I would love to learn their recipe and replicate them at home and would definitely re-order them the next time I visit.
Food, atmosphere and service were wonderful. Flavours were Mediterranean with a mix of Middle Eastern and Greek influences. They easily accommodated our group of 12 (with two kids). Variety of food was wonderful and everything was to a great standard. Not the cheapest but for a special occasion would heartily recommend it.
Really great service. Very attentive and informative staff. We started with the platter to share and chicken kebabs and salmon carpaccio. Followed by grilled king prawns, baby chicken and grilled broccoli. It was our birthday weekend and we were treated to a beautiful chocolate brownie. I finished my meal with a delicious cocktail - what happens here stays here
Excellent and good treatment
We went here for a birthday celebration and wasnt disappointed the food was exceptionally good and will be definitely coming back.
Good food and really varied options for vegans as well and spot on service ..
Great Staff in the Meraki. All very pleasant and wonderful evening on Tuesday.
Good service, tasty food. Happy.
Great restaurant in London. We ate the Sunday Roast, the best I have eaten so far, the Greek influences gave it a special touch that perhaps other more traditional ones do not have. The staffs attention was excellent. We will repeat. Highly recommended.
The food was medium But the restaurant is expensive Doesn t deserve that much of money Food : 4/5
The service was far too rushed, wine came 20 min after first dish, uncoordinated service, dishes came far too quickly. Food was good but not outstanding. Not a pleasant experience
Good service and attentive reception. Friendly and accommodating. Room 8311
Had a lovely evening. Staff very attentive. Food good came quickly and was lovely. Cocktails were good as well. I have seen reviews moaning about the cost however when you take into account the location and amount of staff I think it was reasonable.
I came here for a birthday dinner and everything from the food, drinks and the service was top notch. My dining companion is Greek and he was wowed by the food. Every dish was absolutely delicious (I especially recommend the sea bass, octopus and tuna ceviche) and the staff went above and beyond to make it a special evening for the birthday boy. I highly recommend Meraki and will definitely be back again!
Everything was great on our first visit to Meraki. The environment was very relaxing, cozy and warm and the staff was very polite and welcoming! I left last the quality of the food which was AMAZING! one of the best I have ever tried I would say. Fava and octopus is strongly recommended!!! Will be back for sure!
Perfect! Such a lovely restaurant with fabulous food and service. Try their Octopus phenomenal. Best steak ever. The aubergine, humous, even the olives are fabulous. We had two bottles of house red and spent two hours enjoying the food and wine. Even a little birthday cake for my daughter.
Great place, great food but there were a certain smell of alcohol burning and I think I am allergic to it
The lamb skewer is very dry and tough. It has nothing to do with the menu description. (from tender lamb..) Not to be recommended.
Place was really busy and although we had a booking we had to wait for 45 minutes to be seated. Good quality food, service was ok!
Place to go! Amazing food, great service, good cocktails. Recommended
My partner and I had a great time in this restaurant ! The food was amazing and the waiters very friendly. Well definitely vist another time to taste other dishes. Food : 4/5
I wrote a review via email which has since been ignored twice. I would first like to express my appreciation for the quality of the food and the service we received from the waiting staff during our visit. The team did a wonderful job guiding us through the menu and providing excellent recommendations for both food and wine. However, I regret to say that our overall experience was tarnished by an unfortunate interaction with the door manager (I believe her name was Maria). We arrived for our reservation at 6:45 pm and left two bags and a coat in the cloakroom, where we were not issued a cloakroom tag. At the time, we didnt think much of it, as we were eager to enjoy our meal. At the conclusion of our dinner, I encountered an issue with my payment method, and I needed to retrieve my physical card from my bag in the cloakroom. When I asked Maria and another host for assistance, I was informed that I should have been given a bag tag. Unfortunately, rather than acknowledging that this may have been an oversight, the situation escalated. I felt accused of attempting to claim someone elses property, despite my repeated offers to describe the contents of my bag, provide identification, and show proof of ownership. It was disheartening to be treated with such suspicion, particularly when I had explained that I needed access to my belongings in order to pay for our meal. At one point, I even suggested reviewing security footage to clarify the situation, which was then dismissed. The experience became increasingly uncomfortable, resulting in a rather public confrontation after Maria followed me over to the payment station to ensure I paid the bill, which then drew the attention of other guests and left me feeling humiliated. While I understand that mistakes happen, it was the handling of the situation that was most concerning. As someone who works in hospitality, I fully appreciate the importance of creating a welcoming and positive environment for guests. Unfortunately, this incident significantly detracted from what should have been a memorable evening. Its disappointing that such a wonderful meal was overshadowed by an unfortunate breakdown in communication and service at the door.
A very enjoyable evening at Meraki. Every single dish was absolutely delicious, the cocktails were yum, and the service was attentive and friendly from entry to finale.
An excellent choice for Greek food in central London, we were extremely happy with both the service (both before and at the night, since we booked for a corporate event and had to choose menus, etc) and the food!! Highly recommended!
Good food and value for money
Horribly disappointed at the food and even worse service. Came here on a Wed evening in Oct 2024. Had to ask several staff more than 5 or 6 times for almost everything, chicken kebabs were partially raw, olives were in juice that was rancid, aubergine starter which is terrible is mushed up tableside by a waiter in some sort of attempt at a poorly executed hands on service, staff try to take food away while it is not finished - utterly terrible all around for £140 per head. Baklava not even authentic or homemade and tastes old and stale.
Really good place, nice service from start to finish, great food
Great authentic Greek food and really friendly people, definitely recommend
Thank you for always taking such good care of us when we visit London. Our meal was wonderful!
Our 2nd visit for Sunday roast, was at least as good as our first. Lovely, friendly, professional service. Delicious food, we had the same as before, but the dessert was even better - pasta chocolatina (sp) with cherry and blackberry instead of raspberry. The sorbet was amazing! The cocktails were gorgeous, more alcoholic than they tasted! Were going to visit on another day next time yo try more of the menu (also available on Sundays, but couldnt not order the roast, which is the tastiest in London!) Lovely decor and atmosphere too. Highly recommend treating yourself here.
Amazing food! We were served by Sakir, he was great!!!!
Great ambience and food was amazing!
The food and service were spectacular. We started with the dips , calamari and two salads - the spinach salad was out of this world. For the mains, we devoured the salt fish with a side of potatoes and the tagliatelle. The desserts we opted for the greek yoghurt and the stuffed filo pastry (forgot its name) covered with chocolate... Absolutely divine.. The only thing that may have slightly damped the experience was the atmosphere felt a bit chaotic - not due to the staff/team of the restaurant but the adjacent tables were extremely loud and perhaps a bit of music would have buffered the noise. Our group felt we had to raise our own voices to be able to hear each other speak.
Fabulous! Black cod was the stand out.
Celebrated my girlfriends Birthday here. The staff were very warm and welcoming. Very accommodating to special requests too. The food and atmosphere were fantastic. Would definitely dine here again.
We had our post wedding celebration dinner at Meraki. The staff made sure that we had a great night, they were warm and friendly, everything went smoothly which is no surprise given how well the team planned the event (Clara Luise specifically), food was delicious and the ambiance was great. We highly recommend Meraki.
It was a lovely place, and all the dishes were delicious.
Contemporary Greek restaurant in the center in a quiet street a stones throw from Oxford Circus, I tried the lunch menu and I must say that the value for money is truly excellent, attentive service, friendly staff and exceptional food. The fish was very fresh.
Top food with personalized service, can only recommend for both business and personal visits
The food was super nice and staff are very friendly, but the people were too noisy I couldn t hear anything but people are talking and shouting, even the good music the restaurant played was t heard well from the sound of people Crab salad was amazing, potato, king shrimp & beef sirloin. Also the drink was really great hibiscus lemon.
Fabulous night out. Great venue. Delightful food.
Enjoyed everything about this place!
Excellent Food, Excellent Service with Excellent People. I am definitely coming back.Best of Ms Delia
We really enjoyed Sunday lunch at Meraki. Its a lovely venue, stylush, comfortable and airy. The staff are friendly and efficient. The food was amazing! I had the best vegerarian roast Ive ever had. I dont know what Redefine is, but its so tasty. My husband had the roast chicken and also declared this to be the one of the best roasts hes had (usually a roast beef man, but loved this)Even the starter was graat. How do yoy get the halloumi so crispy? The dessert was outstanding. We were full, but as everything else had been so good, we thought it worth getting the full experiencr. So glad we did. We both had the chocolate and rasberry dessert (pasta chocolatina?) and it was amazing.Good selection of wine and other drinks too. We tried Maraki as we had a half price offer. Wed happily pay full price for this quality!Thank you. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian Sunday roast is the best Ive ever had!
A first visit and far from my last one. This will be a regular visit on my London trips. Highly rated by a friend and it didnt disappoint. Great food and superb team. Cant wait to go back
Overpriced, average food and poor service. Much better options for your money in this area
Celebrated the engagement of some friends and they were so kind to bring some celebration drinks and a cake at the end! Excellent food, amazing service and a must go in london!
I loved how welcoming the staff were, making jokes and taking care of my bags. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was great. I ll be coming back with my boyfriend. Don t change!
Didn t even manage to order waiting for 50 minutes . Not Greek at all, zero service
Bang average, food was bland
Food was good and service was great until we noticed they d overcharged us in any way they could. They offered us standard sparkling wine without sharing the price or menu, we only found at the end it was priced at £70! We did the lunch menu including desert, he offered us the only desert that wasn t included and also charged us. They did refund the desert but we left feeling a little cheated and don t like feeling tricked. The 15% service charge also doesn t help.
A few years ago, the food was very delicious, but now it is no longer the same as it used to be.
One of the best Greek places in London.
Nice restaurant
Its a great experience to taste the delicacy crusine with excellent quality and friendly hospitality-feeling very welcomed.
The most delicious dinner I have had in London in a long time. Great veggie options, the Santorini salad was a table favourite. Delicious cocktails and amazing staff that made sure myself and my friends had the most memorable and lovely evening. Will definitely be back soon! Vegetarian options: So many delicious options, fresh salads and vegan meat alternatives that were uncanny to the real thing! Dietary restrictions: Great veggie, vegan and GF options. With no compromise on taste.
The food was generally delicious, but the service had some issues, such as forgetting to clean the table between dishes, forgetting drinks we had ordered, and not topping up the water despite requests. Also, the music was VERY loud and the choice of loungey, tropical house music made it feel like a club in Dubai. I understand it was a Friday night, but perhaps the volume could be slightly reduced so people can hear each other talk across the table. We did ask, the waiter did turn down the music slightly, but we still could barely hear each other! The restaurant is overall lovely and I can t emphasise how delicious our sea bream was! The chocolate mousse cake for dessert was also a hit.
Delicious Greek cuisine, freshness, excellent quality of products . for a relaxed and light lunch! I highly recommend
Had a great Greek dinner at this lovely restaurant in Fitzrovia. Lamb chops and salad were fantastic and the service, especially from our delightful waitress, Hima, was fantastic. Highly recommended.
It was nice place food was delicious I am really enjoying in place I like most of orders
Fab food and a great ambience and the service is fantastic
We came here for a special occasion, and Meraki did not disappoint. Jord, who is the Head of Guest relations for the restaurant, went above and beyond to make sure that we felt well taken care of and enjoyed our evening. In addition, the food was phenomenal. We ordered the Spread Platter, Ceviche, Charcoal Grilled Chicken, Mykonian Salad, Grilled Artichokes, and Summer Tagliolini. Everything was fantastic. The food, ambiance, and service came together perfectly. We cant wait to come back - thanks Meraki for a wonderful everything!
Everything is delicious. Service took a while to see us to order water or drinks. But the rest of ten
I love this restaurant! Food is amazing and the service is great!! Many thanks Delia for making our night special
New favourite Greek fusion restaurant in London. The food was tasty with well-balanced flavours! The Greek style Rosti and the black cod risotto are must-orders. So good!
Not only the Best Greek restaurant in the UK but also the best restaurant in London. Not only is the food a 10/10 but the service is absolutely fantastic - brilliant staff and overall a lovely experience. Would recommend the lamb Sunday Roast, lamb chops, kings prawns and baby squid. The tomato salad is a must try! For dessert the frozen yogurt is sensational and the cheesecake is always a favourite! If you haven t been to this restaurant you are missing out!
Absolutely shocking service, potentially racist and genuinely a horrible experience. Would not recommend.
Really good experience. Netalia was really nice and served us well
A really cozy place with friendly staff and yummy food. A lot of vegetarian options there.
We spent over £200 and were left hungry; portions were tiny, had substantial price tags, and did not taste good either Greek.
Very pretty environment, I have been in the same restaurant in Mikonos and I have to admit that London is not at the same level. The food is ok, service nice but the atmosphere is actually really good.
Food was exceptional. Highly recommend the Mushroom Rice. The service could be better. Waitrons not attentive.
I dined at Meraki in Riyadh so my expectations were rather high coming here as the food & service in their Riyadh branch is EXCEPTIONAL! The menu wasnt the same and the waiter did explain to me that it is different in Mykonos, London & Riyadh. There was a delay before the servers took our order. Its understandable that the restaurant was busy, but we did wait around 15 minutes for someone to come to our table and as the evening progressed the service was slow which was a tad bit disappointing considering we were there to celebrate my mothers 50th Birthday. On the positive side, the food was delicious and full of flavor, and my favorite dish was the Rosti Greek Style. If youre looking for delicious greek food in London I would recommend Meraki.
Unbelievable restaurant! Everything was 10/10! We took clients here and the feedback was immense. Highly recommend
Amazing food that is different to the way Greek cuisine is normally presented and tastes. Recommend trying... - Rosti - Baby chicken - Lamb chops - Bougasta You will pay above average price do make it a treat!
One of my favourite restaurant in London !
We ate here for our anniversary, such fantastic food and the staff were so lovely. We were served by Sumayea who was so friendly, helped us with the menu and was super attentive to our needs. Would highly recommend this place. Thanks for the great food and service. We will be back for sure.
Delicious food and wine. Great sommelier. The wait staff were amazing - so friendly and helpful.
Nice Greek food and atmosphere
Food is forgettable and service was a complete mess, not coming back (visited in Jan 24)
Great food and service ! The staff are amazing ! Hamid was welcoming us and he is an amazing host! Looked after us and the whole team ! In the end of our booking they brought us a birthday cake for my missus! Thanks guys
We came with 22 people for a professional seminar, we had an incredible time at Meraki! The dishes were delicious and the team very professional! The boss is very kind! Really well done and thank you!
Dietary restrictions: Lots of gluten free (GF) options. Food
One of the favorite places in London! Really cozy, good food, friendliest service, Great DJs for later hours Absolutely love it
Food was good, but I felt cheated by a 15% service charge. For a mid-range nothing special restaurant this feels like dishonest pricing.
Went straight to their bar - the Bar man s reco was the thunderbolt - absolutely loved it Nice Ambiance too but a small one. If you love some whisky cocktails- highly recommend. Not much of single malts though
Went a bit after they opened on a Saturday and we were seated and served quickly. Mains were very good, the fish was fresh and had great sauces, the lamb chops had a lovely smokiness and the beef was good. The starter dip mix, the aubergine and the artichokes were all very salty, but we luckily had a jog in the park before and needed to replenish our sodium! Great, attentive service by our waitress.
Service always on point even though a little slow as busy! Great personal touch helps.
The food was very disappointing. The salad was old as the tomatoes were grainy and onions soggy as this is what happens when one stores a salad overnight for the next day. The cod and spanakorizo was so salty, like it was reheated. We had the Sunday £39 pp set menu and it tasted like it was all leftovers from the week. Not impressed at all.
Had the 3 course lunch menu on Sunday, great to try 3 meze then fish, baklava.Food delicious and service excellent.
Greta cocktails and service. Super recommended
The restaurant is beautiful, the menu is varied and elegant, the service is beautiful and good, and the general atmosphere is elegant and soft... It is worth visiting and listening to the taste.
Meraki is an absolute delight, offering a captivating escape to the enchanting flavors of Greece right in the heart of London. Our recent visit, accompanied by family, was a true culinary journey, made all the more memorable by the attentive care of the staff. From the moment we stepped through the door, we were welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we were well looked after throughout our dining experience, making us feel right at home. Now, onto the food - each dish was a work of art, meticulously crafted and bursting with authentic flavors. It was evident that the ingredients were fresh and thoughtfully sourced, adding an extra layer of depth to each dish. What truly sets Meraki apart is not just the outstanding food, but also the impeccable service and inviting atmosphere. The staffs knowledge and passion for Greek cuisine shone through, enhancing our dining experience and leaving us eager to return. We would absolutely recommend this restaurant for a visit and will definitely be back.
Meraki Greek Restaurant & Bar in Fitzrovia is an absolute gem! From the moment you step inside, youre greeted with warmth and hospitality that makes you feel like family. The ambiance is cozy yet chic, perfect for any occasion from a casual dinner to a special celebration. Now lets talk about the food - its a culinary journey through Greece with each dish bursting with flavor and authenticity. And lets not forget the drinks - their cocktails are expertly crafted and pair beautifully with the menu. The staff are knowledgeable, attentive, and truly passionate about providing an exceptional dining experience. Overall, Meraki Greek Restaurant & Bar is a must-visit destination for anyone craving a taste of Greece in the heart of Londons Fitzrovia. Highly recommended!
We had a great evening at Meraki. The authentic atmosphere and the warmth of the staff came across as soon as you walked in. The food was fantastic, beautifully presented and very tasty. The ingredients were fresh and well put together. We devoured the appetizer, which is why no picture was taken of it. An additional plus point for us, there was a sugar-free dessert, which we have never found in any other restaurant (except for a cheese plate). The only negative for us was that the restaurant wasnt very bright, which made it a little difficult to read the menu, and the waitress spoke very quietly, which made it difficult for us to understand her. Maybe this was because we were sitting close to the kitchen and therefore there was more noise. But, that didnt affect our visit to Meraki. Well come back when were in London again. We really enjoyed our visit
Elegant atmosphere, delightful service and flavorful fresh food incredible. Primarily shareable plates are the way to go but they do have main offerings as well. I especially recommend the roasted cauliflower and tuna tartare. Seasonings are perfection. Our service was excellent. The restaurant is a titch loud though which can make conversation a little tricky with a slightly larger group. Perhaps request a corner area if this is needed. Overall a tremendous experience! Highly recommend.
An amazing balance of ambience, great food and service. Highly recommend. Dietary restrictions: Extremely well catered for/communicated. Gluten free. Food : 5/5 |
Very tasty food! We were here on Sunday and live music started at around 3pm which was very nice! The ambience was so nice, the service was very good and food tasted amazing. We also had Greek sparkling wine, Karanika, which also was very nice. Salt crusted sea bass was very soft, tomato salad very fresh, we will definitely be back
Sadly, wasn t impressed by the food. We chose the spinach pie salad which turned out to be raw spinach between pieces of filo slices. Defo misleading to be called a pie . We assumed the pie would be baked. Out of the raw dishes, I was recommended the yellowtail which was covered in a mayo type sauce and wasn t anything like yellowtail you re served normally. The souvlaki and kebab sticks were small and unforgettable. The only thing that we liked was the potato rocks. For a side to be the best thing we tasted merits a 2* rating. Expensive meal for the quality you received.
Great food and great ambiance and great service! Delicious lamb chops and potatoes, and mezze. Very thoughtful and considerate waitress. Thank you!
Great resturant with great service, Stela, Maria and Alex were amazing with getting me in to getting everything I needed for the night. I enjoyed my time so much and so greatful for the night.
Oh Meraki, been to this place a few times, the vibes and food are off the charts, I was disappointed to see some of their dishes removed last year, especially their lamb pasta (wowza), but nevertheless, Kitchen is stellar, atmosphere gets a rare 10/10, the staff are attentive and they have this lovely little discreet bar at the back where you can enjoy the rest of your bottle of wine in style! This is def one of my favorite Greek spots in London!
Food was ok, nothing that I would go back for unfortunately. Store bought pita bread was not what I expected. A fair bit on the expensive side esp. for the size of portions. An underwhelming lunch.
The experience last night was so dissappointing. Being lead through a lovely restaurant through a door that said Staff Only to a downstairs dark and dingy bar. Being in the basement there was a slight smell. The tables were low bar type tables with a cover put on top. The seating was bar stools uncomfortable for eating. This area is called the living room and seems to be either a seperate bar that has linked premises or some kind of after thought as no aesthetics linked to the upstairs bar. Furthermore the toilet was a crammed toilet that opened straight to the dining area (no lobby as required with eating establishments) and was too small with a sink you had to navigate round to get into. And then as we had a late booking at 10pm a DJ came on and the lights went low destroying any chance of ambiance and conversation. It s such a shame cause the food was lovely.
Excellent food and lovely atmosphere x
loved it and will go back time and time again Food
Good Greek cuisine. All recommended dishes excellent. The restaurants kitchen is open, which seems like a positive plus in my opinion. It has several spaces such as dining rooms but they are quite noisy and generally very little light on the tables which has left me poor. Outstanding in the culinary sense but various things have detracted from the gastronomic sense.
Used to come here for the lobster orzo but they started replacing some of the lobster with squid / calamari. Strange and obvious they re trying to cut costs. Why don t you increase the price and keep the lobster orzo as it was. Delicious !!
Pricey fornwhat it was, waitress pleasant,
Service was appalling, felt like we were ignored the minute we walked in. Food did not live up to its expectations and very pricey. Don t recommend
Visited Meraki today. The food was excellent, very delicious and well cooked. Must order: lamb chops, beef tagliatelle and of course the bougatsa for dessert (serves 2). Great tzatziki aswell. The atmosphere is very cosy and warm. The service was excellent, Diogenis was very kind and very helpful. 5 stars on the service aswell.
We honestly had the most wonderful experience. We were greeted by the most friendly staff and the waiters were so attentive and helped us to understand the best way to order off the menu. The food was out of this world delicious and we couldn t stop talking about it afterwards! Everything was divine from start to finish and we loved the extra touches you did for our friend who s hen do it was. Thank you so much. Would 100% return and recommend to everyone. Emily :)
We had the perfect meal here with excellent waiter service and fabulous food. The food flavors were amazing in all dishes we ordered. A must place for dinner with a stylish yet relaxed atmosphere.
It was amazing Atmosphere service a true experience. I wouldnt say is an authentic Greek restaurant but definitely worth the visit. Food : 5/5
We had the set menu yesterday, and honestly I m still daydreaming about the mushroom risotto. The food here was absolutely incredible; will definitely be back.
The food was amazing, and delicious. The lighting and the ambience was also lovely, and there was a particular waitor who was very kind. However, we were sat at a table next to the stairway, and it really smelt of sewage. I raised this to a waitresses attention at the end when getting the bill, she said it s just the smell of the cleaning. She didn t offer much empathy and I thought it would have been courteous to offer us a discount or something to make up for the extremely unpleasant smell whilst eating.
Mediokre greek food A plate in the Menu called Horta(wild herbs in Greece) and coming spinach which has nothing to do with Horta. £8 for 100 gram pita bread Overpriced
I was very excited about coming to this restaurant, I love Greek food and the place itself is beautiful. Unfortunately the food was really bland, our chicken and pork souvlakis were dry and quite tasteless I don t think I will be back.
Weve been here twice now, and both times we had an excellent experience. Food and service both terrific, lovely wine list, interesting cocktails as well as classics. Not a cheap meal, but then again the quality befits the price. We will go back any time we can!
We had to wait 45 min for our starters. Then, Some of the dishes never came so I had to re order them. And because of that the ceviche was served after the main course. I ordered the whole sea bass and clearly the fish wasnt cut properly.. most of the bones were still there. Bad experience !
Food was good but not great, to be honest, it really lacked Greek authenticity. Service was very good so I left the included 15% Service Charge on the bill (watch out for that). Overall, Id wouldnt say this was a value for money experience.
Such a superb dining experience. I went with my family and friends to celebrate my birthday and absolutely adored everything about it. When I came in until I left, we were completely looked after and every dish that was served was perfect. I will definitely be coming back in the next month or so. Thank you, team Meraki. Kid-friendliness: My nephew under 2 dined with us, we found the staff very accommodating to his requests.
Amazing food and service. Felt like I was in Mykonos again. Would highly recommend
The 2 female receptionists were quite rude.
Im sure we are in the minority of experiences with service at Meraki judging by other reviews posted, but unfortunately last night for my wife and I we were left feeling forgotten all night while dining. Our initial orders of two cocktails and starters were certainly forgotten. From ordering it took 30 minutes for the cocktails and 45 minutes for the Merakis Spread to hit our table. The original waiter who took our order requested us to order our mains with our starters as he would be very busy and it would be better for him. While it did feel pushy, we obliged, only for him to never visit us again and our order be unattended to. The food however was absolutely stellar and would be reason enough to come back. Still, a feeling of being shoved away in the corner increased over the evening as we soon had the wine ice bucket for the table 3 down placed next to our table. For our experience paying the service charge on the bill felt silly in the end. We would definitely come back for the food, we just wont be sitting at the corner table again.
It was a great experience with marvelous food. I highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for good food.
The service was amazing, from the wonderful hostess to our waiter and all the supporting staff who came by our table. Had the Elia cocktail which was delicious. Loved the food - recommend chicken kebabs, grilled ribeye, the dips/spreads - can t really go wrong.
Decent food and atmosphere. The worst cocktails ever.
I visited the restaurant for the first time and what could I say, the entire experience was 10/10. The manager Kostas Sausdravas was possibly one of the best managers I ever had to deal with! His attitude towards the restaurant and customers was best to none. What a great experience thank you Kostas and hopefully see ya soon Rocky
December 2023 Amazing food but specially amazing service, weve been served by an Italian waiter called Davide, he was always available for our requests, he was very professional and friendly enough to make you feel comfortable. We were very happy to spend our evening there and i think i ll go back there for sure one day and I will suggest this place to anyone I know who wants to have a nice piece lamb and a nice glass of win
The food isnt great! Drinks are lovely. ambiance and service are wonderful
Excellent experience, amazing food, atmosphere . I will definitely come back again. Thanks Meraki Food : 5/5
We recently celebrated my daughters 21st birthday party at Meraki, hosting a party of 17, and could not have enjoyed it more. The service was fantastic, the team are so happy and charming. The selection of dishes was perfect and all delicious. I highly recommend!
We came for Saturday lunch and between the three of us, we shared the spread platter (hummus, tzatziki, kopaniski (feta) - all decent), saganaki prawns (good), octopus (slightly dry and small portion), lamb chops (good but smaller portion for price point), greek salad (nothing special), potato rosti with fried egg and truffle (rich flavour but great texture and crunch) and the bougatsa for dessert (made fresh). The service was attentive for most of the time but became slow towards the end of the meal.
Amazing service and food! We were a table of 7 and everything came at the right time, we didn t have to wait a minute. Antonio too great care of us. 100% recommended
Service and atmosphere were incredible, would go again just for those. I wasn t very impressed with the food especially for this price, but as a person who grew up in the Mediterranean I m not impressed with Greek food often Food
Lovely place, Giannis & Sumayah excellent service! Well done Food : 5/5
We went there on a Thursday night for dinner. The food was excellent, exceeding every expectations. We had 2 starters and 2 mains and they were all amazing. The wine was very good and our waiter (an Italian guy) was very helpful and nice. The atmosphere was lovely, just a tiny bit dark and loud from time to time but overall would 100% recommend. I had high expectations of this restaurant as looked nice on their website and booked it to celebrate my sister in laws 40th birthday. I booked for 7pm and was 15 mins late. I called the restaurant to let them know we would be late and they informed me that we would still need to leave to table by 9pm as they had another booking. This is fine, it was my bad as I had not seen this notification when I booked but it must have been there, right? . . . Anyway, we arrived and were seated promptly at the back of the restaurant where there was quite a draft. We ordered wine straight away to warm up (it worked) and then once food was ordered we settled into the evening. Food arrived quite quickly, all good, apart from plates and cutlery arriving a good 3 mins after our sharing mains had arrived. Staff/service became chaotic once our mains were finished and I could see the panic in their eyes as we needed to leave on time. At this point we had 30 mins until we had to vacate our table. Dessert menus were put on top of our almost finished mains. I asked our server if they would mind taking the plates away first. She said we needed to pick quickly and she rushed off. Then we were left for 15 mins and I had to call someone to take our dessert order and remind them about a previous wine order we had placed. Wine eventually arrived after desserts and coffees and with 2 mins to leave the table. Another person came over with the card machine as we were finishing our last spoonfuls of dessert. Honestly, the whole experience was disappointing and if you are going to charge people so much per head, service should definitely match. Food was ok, but no where near worth what was charged and not anything that original either. In fact, I would be willing to overlook the cost of the food if the service was way better. If you charge premium prices, you should give premium service. Order of service was all over the place, staff did not look trained and were a little heavy handed when placing plates on tables. As I said at the beginning, we were 15 minutes late, so I suppose they were thrown by this, but they could have handled the whole experience a lot better. Also make it clearer that we only have 2 hours when we book!
loveddd this restaurant. one of the best in london. the food was delicious. every single meal. the risotto is to die for.

Entire experience of the restaurant is amazing right from you enter the restaurant. Waiters are very kind and friendly helping me explaining the food taking care of my requests and when the food arrived it was looking amazing and tasted amazing as well. I will be getting even more friends next time.
Absolutely delighted by my dining experience at this Greek gem! The quality of ingredients was unparalleled, creating dishes bursting with authentic flavors. The exceptional cooking showcased the chefs mastery, and the staffs service added a warm touch to the overall delightful evening. Highly recommend for a taste of Greeces culinary excellence!
Sat at chefs counter and talked to the chef. Amazing person. Also, our favorite restaurant on our London trip. Fantastic food.
Meraki Greek Restaurant offers an outstanding Greek dining experience with exceptional dishes and friendly waiters. The atmosphere was perfect for a date night, and the cleanliness was impressive. Highlights include their amazing hommous and a delectable chicken plate. Its a must-visit for a delightful Greek culinary journey.

Amazing, authentic but somehow unique Greek cuisine. The food, service and atmosphere have been far above my already high expectations. Food

Wonderful atmosphere! The staff are delightful and the food is stunning. Exquisite baklava desserts.
We were seated 40 mins after booking (which was annoying) but they made up for it in drinks / appetisers. Food is actually very good quality, would have order the ceviche again. Would recommend for a birthday / group
Great selection of food. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free Food : 5/5 |
Very hard took know what to rate this, and what to say. On one hand, at least over Christmas, their service is absolutely ghastly, despite having a lot of staff. On the other the food is pretty good. Its just a shame it takes so long to arrive and you sit there with finished plates for a long long time. And you sit there waiting for any attention whatsoever when you first sit down. Its a complete shame that the management (I use the term very loosely, they couldnt run a bath) dont really know what they want to be. Some sort of night club? Christmas party venue? Called in the night before the booking as we had an allergy in the party. Utterly clueless receptionist who didnt really know what I was asking. Some sort of manager said yes no problem but they had forgot all about this when we arrived the next day. Clueless receiptionist actually pretended to note something down too. Had to stand outside when we arrived, a big party (assume office do) arrived and pushed straight in front. Front of house unable to cope with a few coats. Finally got seated opposite the kitchen and it was immediately apparent how noisy it was. Lots of shouty people from Essex. 20 minutes later we finally got asked if we wanted a drink. The waiter genuinely thought he was better than this, and looked entirely disinterested. Maybe find a different career, if you can. Couldnt hear a word he said over the hubub. He finally deigned to speak up a bit and lean in. Yeah, putting a cocktail in a head is nice. But it was actually fairly average and took ages to arrive. And the wine arrived before the cocktail. Had to ask, all over again, about allergies. Again, largely disinterested. Managed to get the fairly warm Greek Rosé (really good) in an ice bucket. No idea why they wanted to open it before we even had water. It was kept by the door for reasons unknown. Clueless service again, they dont know what they are doing. Asked for hummus. Apparently it only comes with two other dips so rather than explain this they just didnt bother to give it to us. That says everything about this place. The people that run it genuinely believe they are some high end dining experience. Mostly it is people getting pissed and eating chicken kebabs. They are totally deluded. It is not a nightclub on a high end greek island. So, to the food. Tasty chicken kebab. Average crab salad which wasnt vaguely greek. Octopus salad was a bit chewy. Main courses good. Very decent fish. Excellent prawns. Beef kebab very well cooked. Sat for 30 minutes waiting for plates to be cleared. Would have ordered pudding but everything was so hopelessly late we gave up. The absolute most telling thing of the night was that we we refused to pay the 15% (yeah, 15%, absolutely deluded) service they didnt even bat an eyelid. Quite a few other people not on work nights out also unhappy. But hey, Meraki made some money for Christmas by ignoring the other people in the room. The parties wont be back for a year. The people who might come back before next Christmas are unlikely to either given the awful service.
Really shocking service. Waited 1.5 hours for our food. Starters came sporadically and took an hour for them to all come out. Mains were shocking. Average food, shocking service. Don t know how this place has 4.4 star average but I m guessing it s bots.
Antonio the best! he make our night unforgettable
