Five Guys Westfield Stratford in London

Some of the staff seemed very unfriendly and the woman who served me seemed to have trouble understanding that I wanted one large vanilla milkshake with whipped cream on top, and nothing else. She kept asking if I wanted anything else, and then asked if I wanted whipped cream even though I had said just one large vanilla milkshake with whipped cream . One would think that that instruction was quite definitive: a) I wanted no other product, and b) I wanted whipped cream in the milkshake. Other than that, in spite of the restaurant being very spacious, there was hardly anyone there at all, apart from a couple of confused looking kids. The staff way outnumbered the customers when I was there, and they seemed to be busy with their banter. For a place called Five Guys, it was amusing to see that there weren t even Five Customers and way more than five guys working there. The whole place probably had a total of five people. Maybe that is the curse of this place, that they will never have more than five people in here. I did see people walk in, look a the menu and walk straight out, and I think it had something to do with their inflated prices, and not having enough products on the menu that could be considered food. In the Westfield Mall, you already have several burger places such as Gourmet Burger Kitchen, TGI Fridays, McDonalds, so it is easy to ignore it. Anyway, so what did I think of the milkshake? It was OK, but for nearly £6 it should age been much better. It tasted of syrupy sugar and felt like an invitation to a sore throat. £6 for a shake this average? It was just like the McDonalds Vanilla milkshake so why does it cost twice as much. I doubt whipped cream is worth £3 extra. As long as places like this charge this much for very assembly line style products, they will continue to lose money. Charge a reasonable price, and people might be willing to pay. Judging by the emptiness of this place (compared to GBK and TGI Fridays), this place looked so empty it was painful to watch. Maybe they get some of the city yuppies on corporate away days , or football fans when West Ham play at home, but I have been past this place many times, and the only place that looks sadder and more lonely than this is Burger King in Leyton Mills. Now if that put down doesn t burn, the owners of this place should head down to that Burger King and see how bad things can get. Update: Reader, I went back! I was at Westfield anyway, so I thought I might get a burger. All the other places were busy so I thought if one place that is guaranteed not to be busy at all, it is Five Guys, and I was right. I got the milkshake again, which I still feel is overpriced and nothing special. Gourmet Burger Kitchen ones are still better. What was a revelation was their grilled cheese vegetarian burger. I forgot what it was called but it was full of cheese, veg, and mushrooms. Very messed presentation, but it was so good and for the first time I found a chain restaurant like Five Guys offering a truly well thought out vegetarian burger which seems to have been designed for people that like food, and not just the usual stodgy veggie or fake meat pattie. This means I am likely to go back for this burger alone and I have now raised my score for this place just because of it. My second impression of Five Guys is that it is worth a visit and not being busy actually works to the customers advantage as you get served quickly. I am not sure if that is good for the restaurant but with all the other places being overcrowded, you can quietly sit in this huge diner and contemplate the meaning of life or something. Wheelchair accessibility: This place is so spacious, so empty, wheelchairs will have no trouble moving around. It is probably the best restaurant for wheeelchair users in the whole of Westfield.

Service ain t great however the shake was nice. Why don t they have peanuts anymore?

Food was rubbish . Had the mussels omg was horrific and chips.. Waited for 30mins to be serve and it was weekday around 3pm. Staff was useless beside the girl who was making the drinks and cleaning the bar .. well done. The manager was a planky useless person as well as the waitress. No service at all and prices are expensive for frozen food. Dont waste your money here...

Amazing services, very clean and friendly staff always well maintained and foods piping hot. hits the right spot everytime!! Cannot recommend it enough!

Fantastic burgers and fries with free refill sodas. Was difficult to find as the Google maps location was wrong. Have suggested an edit to put it in its correct place next to Zizzi.

My food was perfect, huge portion, and the quality was great. Sid was a huge help, and hes the main reason the food tasted so great, great vibes and personality.

Guys behind the counter were doing their best, but all the bloody delivery drivers just barge in, push their way to the front and immediately start demanding their orders be serviced immediately. I get that delivery is a model here to stay, but maybe sort out somewhere else they can wait, so other customers waiting for a single burger and fries can get a look in! Food was excellent as always, just a shame on the service. Again, 5 Guys staff were awesome, just the rudeness of the drivers.

Lovely burger, what a team

I got the service from Siri and sid very helpful and supportive, too kind and made a wonderful sandwich for us. Its full of with stomach. Come again. Thank you so much Vegetarian options: Cheese grilled Sandwich so delicious.

Veggie option was disgusting, tasted like tinned mushrooms in a burger roll, I couldn t eat it. The chips were nice though. Staff were polite. Five guys need to work on their veggie option!

Best milkshakes and really good fries. Nothing else to say as I havent tried anything else from there - also staff were really good to me. Dietary restrictions: Meat is not halal here.

I had a the Little Bacon Burger but was missing the bacon from it, I ask a team member for bacon and offer me extra bacon free of charge, that was a kind gesture from the staff.

We had a great experience at this place. Food is good , service is great . staff are very friendly especially Zainab . She is so helpful and polite . Definitely we will come back again .

Was very busy but burger was nice, chips were very salty but a good portion. I think price is abit too high.

Seriously unhygienic, even for chain fast food. Staff wiping multiple tables with the same, damp cloth (no cleaning chemical), wiping the bin and going back to wipe more tables. Others wearing their disposable gloves to the bathroom and elsewhere off the kitchen station. Just gross.

It is a very nice, clean, and spacious place. Staff is polite, and the food is also amazing. Will come back soon.

The food is immaculate - as always. And the atmosphere also lives up to the standards. The one problem is the price. £19 for a little cheeseburger, little chips and a shake.

I havent been to Five Guys in a long time, but I recently visited the Stratford Westfield branch. Ewuraamas warm welcome and helpfulness reminded me why I love Five Guys so much. Keep up the great work!

Efficient, friendly staff took and prepared my order in next to no time. The food was so good it seemed like everyone in the restaurant was in a great mood, which is no mean feat for such a busy shopping centre. Round of applause to all involved in such a delightful and tasty experience

Coming from India this was my first five guys fries experience. The fries are better than almost anything we have tried in london so far including the fancy ones. For an Indian perspective u can safely order small and share between two people. Regular fries are a lot for 2!

Almost all seating areas were full of student like creatures eating mc Donalds takeaway.

Music inside is too loud. You need to stand next to the counter to hear your number which could be better resolved by using a display showing completed orders. Food and service are good.

If I could give it 0 stars I wouldnt think twice about it. Ordered a delivery late at night with my hubby from Five Guys Stratford London and everything was a disaster. First I wanna point out the fact that Im in love with your pistachio milkshake and for that reason especially we decided to go with Five Guys (lets be honest, theres so many restaurants options) and I didnt receive my milkshake and the food was terrible, couldnt eat anything...and, the presentation was awful so we called in the restaurant (wish wouldnt have done it because the staff was very rude) .so....we had to order from somewhere else... Would NOT recommend

Absolutely disgusting fries, tasted rotten, the burger was way below average, and the place is overpriced. For over £22 for a menu, couldve gotten a nice lunch in a non-fast food restaurant. Goes to show a known chain doesnt mean quality products.

The food was top quality and tasted amazing 10/10. The staff were friendly and the service was excellent. Also there was always someone on the shop floor ensuring the tables were clean. I would definitely be recommending five guys to my friends and family.

Such a long wait to get just small fries and a milkshake. It wasnt that busy either.

Had a little hamburger around 1pm and had food poisoning later that evening. Didnt eat anything else that day so unfortunately it had to be the burger. Would suggest that the burger must of been contaminated as there is no way i should be getting food poisoning from red meat. Horrible night and its will put me of 5 guys for a long time

Ive had a pink burger twice in two visits

A girl name ketaki was very kind and helpful with the order. The food was delicious also have to say milkshake was so yummy - suggested by Ketaki a girl at the till. Excellent service & make us leaved satisfied with the service, Suggestion and food.

Great usual five guys burgers, however the service was slow at this branch. The worker who was constructing the burgers was more interested in doing other jobs than the one he was meant to be doing.

No free peanuts in here

Overpriced. Got order mixed up which could have caused a serious allergic reaction but thankfully the reaction was mild. Told staff but they didnt really want to know!

Great burgers as ever and plenty of chips!!! My grandson 16 and his mate loved it as well. We call it the 5 guys challenge at Westfield!! Can you finish it all We did this time, had 1 large chips between us. Did not have milk shakes, which makes it very difficult to finish!!! Food

At Westfield Mall. For 40 GBP we were more than full, with the addition of a milkshake. The regular fries are a lot and the regular burgers also have a double patty. So if you want a normal burger, its best to get the Little Cheeseburger. The burgers are some of the best Ive ever eaten. You can choose 15 ingredients. Highly recommended !

Customer service was poor from the lazy woman on the till point, no hygiene was in place too, very overrated as it is not worth the money plus its not Halal or kosher, at least tell your Jewish and Muslim customers this...Its a one time off really not a place to go back over and over. Not worth it at all

Overpriced for what you get compared to McDs. Nothing special. Tbf we did visit at a quiet time but the atmosphere and decor is very sterile. At least it was clean!

Fries were delicious and burger was good. It was my first time trying five guys and the young guy at the till was extremely helpful and explained how everything works in a lovely manner.

I make my complaint mainly because there are no peanuts available for the customer. I only go there to eat some peanuts that they have throughout the store. But the box was closed and even though I asked, they didnt open it.

What s not to love about Five guys this branch was good and within the shopping centre. Loads of seating and delicious food

Number one fast food in Britain Their place is on the second floor and the sweet one gets drunk late. The small, large-sized meal is frankly very filling and satiates the appetite, and is refreshing and delicious at times. My order was meat, approximately 21 pounds. I tried Sprite with berries. I do not recommend changing it, but it was without a better flavour.

Its a glorified mcdonalds, but a good one. They are always generous with the fries too.

Heard a lot about this brand and decided to try it out; but was disappointed on my very first visit. The staff gave no options of what I could add, when later I discovered it was free but I wasnt informed. Also, the size/portion is too small for the price/amount charged.

Always going there to eat.

We had lunch here on Sunday 11/11/23 and despite being packed because West Ham game was on at the Olympic Stadium, the guy at the till was very helpful, patient and kind to us. His name is Felipe O. according to the name on the receipt. We were so pleased with the whole experience and burgers were amazing, they aren t cheap but definitely worth the money they charge for them. Will come back! Kid-friendliness: Lots of space, my son loves coming here. When I ordered a cheeseburger for him, the server kindly informed me their burgers are quite big and suggested me to order the kid s version. Thank you so much

They are very slow to take orders and cook the food. Unfortunately the quality of the burgers has gone really down (no flavour, missed condiments, very dry) and my chips were old - normally I love five guys but this was very disappointing :(

The chips are amazing and the portion size is very generous. Service is usually quick.

I like the Cajun style fries generally and I usually go to Liverpool Street one. This is the first time at Stratford and almost all fries are soggy except the skins. I regret visiting this place and changed my view about Five Guys.

Nice chain burger restaurant. Seating inside and out. Parking on site but not free parking. Food is made fresh so takes a little while. It is a lot of money for what it is but the menu is small which makes for easier choices. Milkshakes are nice but the queuing system is a bit weird
