Really nice Indian takeaway food, the guy on the desk was so friendly, checked for us if there were any nuts in dishes, and they made our takeaway really quickly. Even gave us a free poppadom! Highly recommended.
I'm very critical of indian takeaways. Especially as I always stick with my mums food and have had bad experiences with indian takeaways in the past. But my wife said go check out the local indian takeaway, give it a chance. And boyyy did this place live up to my expectations. I kept it safe with a lamb biryani and it tasted great!! The portions were big, the amount of lamb was generous!! The service was great and the place was clean. I'm going to check out these guys more - highly recommend!
Great food. Good price. Fast service. Would recommend
The best Indian food I have had the pleasure of eating in my 22 years on this earth! And affordable too, with nice and polite service. 5 stars!!!
With so many India restaurants it's very hard to know which one is good. After several failed attempts came across this one, and so far so good. Love the biranyi, peshwari naan, tandoori chicken and samosa very tasty and great portions
Really excellent food. The signature dishes and house specials are great, the lamb norjahani is so well spiced and is a personal fave. Decent price and they offer delivery too which has always been fast.
Takeaway Delight: A Wonderful Indian Culinary Experience I recently had the pleasure of ordering a takeaway meal from an exceptional Indian restaurant that left me thoroughly impressed!! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, guiding me through the menu and providing recommendations based on my preferences.. Each dish I ordered was really lovely - and authenticity Indian! The ingredients were fresh, the spices were well-balanced, The menu has a wide variety of options, with plenty of veggie options The staff ensured that my order was accurate, and they even included thoughtful extras like complimentary condiments. If you're craving authentic Indian flavours , I highly recommend giving this takeaway place a try.
This was our first time in Stratford and being typical Indians, me and my partner were in search of some desi (home food). We were super hungry and when we reached the place we realised this was only take away as yet, however seeing how hungry we were and knowing that we stayed in airbnb the management not only served us food thier but thier hospitality was just awesome. Also food quality and quantity both were superb. Highly recommend this place if you love desi food.❤️
On a rainy night I ordered from the trusty Fat Chef, like many a times i have in the past - its always a hit! However on this particular night I specified in the notes how I was missing home and they were considerate and kind enough to not only write me a beautiful message but also send me a complimentary dish that not only turned out to be the best thing Ive tried from fat chef but also truly made my night! Thank You to the team and happy holidays
The food here is so tasty and my family really enjoyed it.
Food was excellent, good portion sizes and fairly reasonable. Will be my go to Indian takeaway from now on.
Very nice and good customer service make me very pleased
Excellent food. Really good. Cant say it enough. Yum!
Have just moved to the area and have now found my go-to Indian takeaway. Wasn t exactly how I like it, but it was absolutely charming & delicious, would highly recommend and will be ordering again. Bombay alloo: - incredible flavour, delicious! The spices used very well balanced. Loved it. - texture of the inside of the potatoes was great, nicely cooked - moist but fluffy - but, for my own personal preference, I would have preferred the potatoes to have been peeled. I know the skin is said to be more nutritious, but it adds an unexpected waxy /chewy texture - the pot could also have been a little fuller, I d say it was about 75% full Pilau rice (aka Saffron Biryani Rice, learnt something new!) - piping hot, super fresh - lovely flavour & texture - a little longer and fatter grain of rice than I ve experienced from Indian takeaways, but was very pleasant - also, liked how the rice didn t all clump together in the pot - and the pot was very full, decent size, was great Coconut chicken tikka masala: - was the deep shade of red you expect from a decent masala - was absolutely delicious - chicken was moist and tender, whilst full of flavour. Could tell that it had been prepared / cooked fresh. Loved the chicken!!! - there was a decent amount of chicken. And the pieces were on the smaller to medium size. I wouldn t exactly say it was generous, especially if like me you expect two meals out of it (like with all other takeaways ), but it could be just enough if you re more disciplined than me. - the sauce wasn t quite as thick as I m used to (think other places use a type of blended coconut maybe instead of coconut milk perhaps?) but to be fair, it did make it feel lighter and healthier - whilst not 100% what I was expecting, I would definitely order this again. I didn t feel sluggish or lathergic after eating an Indian; this never happens! And the flavours, the textures . Very nice. Good job overall. - downside was that the menu is a little confusing. There are two chicken tikka masalas on the menu; one is coconut and the other is punjabi. I wasn t sure which one I wanted (I naively didn t know there was more than one type), but I called them to ask. Turns out the Punjabi one is a little spicier. The coconut one, understandably, a little milder and sweeter (perhaps more typical of a chicken tikka masala found in the U.K.?) - no issue with portion/size, was as you d expect Peshwari naan: - Devine. Hot, large, moist, soft. Perfect. - no issue with the size of the pot, was as you d expect Onion Bhaji: - crispy outside, soft inside. Perfect - flavour balance was spot on - onions were interesting; nice and long strands which made for a messy but very enjoyable eat! - there are four in a pot. - they are a little on the smaller side vs other places. But they are a good size to fit in the pots of sauce I guess. Popadoms & mango chutney: - the chutney was awesome!!! So light, fresh but still thick and full of flavour. It actually tasted like mango, and not like a sugary jam concoction. I wish they sold this in jars! - the normal popadoms we re awesome. Decent size. They were very fresh. Great crisp to them. Not at all stale or chewy. Couldn t have asked for better - but they were impossible to find on the website / just eat thing, so had to call up for them - they came in a deal; two normal popadoms, one spicy popadom and a mango chutney. - was lovely to be able to try the spicy popadom, but it wasn t my cup of tea Other feedback: - customer service was excellent. The guy I spoke to on the phone, and the delivery guy, both super sweet and caring! - timing was impeccable. I ordered on New Year s Eve. And it came super quick. Was very impressed! - whilst above I find minor developmental feedback in some portion sizing elements, it was still really great value for money. Especially when the quality is so good. - I predict this place will be super popular. My only hope is that they can sustain these standards; they ve set the bar high. - driver told me they opened 6 weeks ago. Rather impressed - see you soon!
Fabulous fresh curry - you can taste all the different spices. Arrived hot and in good time. Highly recommended!
Very good food & taste is just awesome.definitely recommend to all my friends & family. Kid-friendliness: Better option for kids meal & tasty.

Food is super fresh and yummy. Arrived hot. We had a selection of veggie dishes and the chicken jalfrezi, all packed full of flavour!
Wow - the best Indian takeaway ! 5 star quality and more like a fine dining restaurant experience
Excellent customer service: I had ordered a punjabi samosa and paneer makhani for dinner. The punjabi samosa was one of the best I have eaten, however the paneer makhani was too sweet and seemed like tomato puree. I called My Spice and a very kind gentleman named Reza explained to me that paneer makhani is very mild and another sabzi will be best for my desi tastebuds. He offered to send me a replacement with no additional cost. Thank you for listening to your customers reviews @MySpiceStratford. Looking forward to having the replacement dish: Bindhi Bhaji
Tasty! Good quality ingredients and every dish flavoursome without tasting all the same. We ordered the chicken pasanda and the achari king prawn masala and paratha.
Took 2 hours to deliver (to Stratford). :-/
Very good Indian food, good portions and very fast transportation.
It was bloody gorgeous. As was the company.
New favourite place. Great good. Good value. Excited to try some different dishes!
Excellent service and tasty food. Specially recommended
Great place, have take-away from there regularly. The food is delicious, piping hot and delivery is quick. Highly recommend.
Great food. Ordered from here a couple of times Edit: Food is great, but a shame that the service is awful. During the day there were 2 offers (buy 1 get 1 free and 25% if u spend 35). In the evening when I was trying to order they removed the 25% off one and told its bcoz no 1 was ordering. But now I wanted to and got them to put the offer again As a customer I wanted to make use of both offers but the guy cancelled my order saying u can only make use of 1. Never had this with any other restaurant. Why am I not allowed to use 2? Why do u even have 2 there in the 1st place. I understand its nor profitable for u guys but dont lie saying u removed it coz no orders were coming. Now ur saying u removed it coz people would take adv of 2 offers. Am a regular customer ordering at least once every week but no more from now. Wasted more than half an hour and lie too
chicken was so weirdly sweet and tasted like pure sugar. :( i wish international restaurants would stop catering to white tastebuds and make their dishes authentically. disappointing
Really great. Well spiced, generous portions, really fast.
Amazing lamb noorjahani. I wasnt a big fan of the tikka masala though, because of the sweetness. Not quite Willy Wonka levels of sugar but definitely a bit sweeter than the average
This place is decent, lived in the area for years, other curry houses are a bit hit and miss, mostly miss. Tasty curry, not too expensive and don t take that long to come. Best curry place I ve found
Food is not testy and very very expensive also. I do not recommend.
