"Mowgli is all about how Indians eat at home and on their streets. She was born to feed the raw need Indians have for tiffins full of fresh bright intense flavour. Mowgli is not about the intimate, hushed dining experience. It is about the smash and grab zing of healthy, light, virtuosic herbs and spices. The simple dishes of a Mowgli menu are a million miles away from the curry stereotype. These dishes convey the truth that real Indian food is extremely healthy, often vegan and always packed with fresh flavour."
If I could give this minus ratings I would. The food was awful awful awful. We paid 25 per person for a sharing meal and had 3 starters and 2 curries with rice (and supposed to get roti but that didn't turn up) the curries were cooked like a child was experimenting in a kitchen and attempting to make it for the first time without parental supervision. The flavours were not combined well, no thought was given to the ingredients and I tried a spoon of each curry feeling more and more resentful that I subjected my taste buds to a vile dish. The mains were substandard. Too much liquid in the chaat bombs meant it was falling apart before we could even pick them up. The fries were cubed squares with a drop of tamarind sauce and the gunpowder chicken tasted like nothing. I tried to wash it down with mango lassi but it was not working as that too was way below acceptable. The service was terrible. Took ages for this horrendous meal to be served. We gave feedback to the waitress on how the food was and she just silently passed over the card machine charging 60 odd quid for this sickening meal which we barely ate. No apology or offer to speak to the chefs/ manager. She saw we hadn't touched the mains much but didn't seem surprised. Afterwards, I had to go get a sweet dessert from outside to get rid of the taste. The decor and seating is also weird. Why was my cutlery inside a ghee tub? Why was I sat on a swing? There is not enough words in the English dictionary to describe this. Please don't eat here if you value your taste buds, wallet and sanity. I wish someone gave me this warning beforehand!
Disappointing Christmas Lunch I visited this restaurant with a colleague for a Christmas lunch, filled with high expectations. The interior was stunning, with beautiful lighting that created a festive ambiance. We were warmly greeted by a friendly waitress, which started things off on a positive note. To begin, the waitress offered us a free taste of Yogurt Bomb Chat, which was quite good and gave us hope for the rest of the meal. However, things took a turn from there. We ordered the Christmas menu, but the wait for the food was far too long. The starter arrived after a delay, and we had to wait even longer for the main course. When the food finally arrived, it was a complete letdown. The chicken ginger curry, in particular, was incredibly bland and did not taste authentic. I doubt it was prepared by an experienced Asian chef. The portion sizes were shockingly small, especially for the price. To make matters worse, we were informed that we had to share a single serving of rice between two people. This felt unreasonable and added to the overall disappointment. I’ve had much better Indian street food elsewhere, both in taste and value. This experience left me feeling distressed and let down. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning to this restaurant and cannot recommend it to others.
3 of us came here on a Saturday evening in opening week. When you enter, you’re hit by the most beautiful scene of fairy lights heaven! The staff were very friendly and efficient. Manager Randeep was so hospitable and professional. Everything we ate was delicious, particularly the Temple Dahl, Mowgli Panner, Mowgli Slaw and Bunny Chow. I had never tried ‘ground plant protein’ before and was sceptical but the Mowgli Keema Karma blew my mind!!! This place is perfect for all occasions. The querky swing chair tables for a date, work do, dinner with friends, it covers it all. My only request is they put prices on the online menu so that people can plan their events. Very highly recommend this place and will definitely be returning with family and friends!
We decided to grab lunch here on a Sunday and decided on the sharer platter that offers some of their best curries with bread, potatoes and rice endings with a dessert of salted caramel. Unfortunately the Naan bread was available so an alternative was provided. Also it seemed service was a bit slow as we had some items missing that we had to ask for and waited a while for our dessert and bill correction as we were incorrectly charged for an item that was included in the platter charge. We arrived and there was only availability for the swing chairs though in hindsight should have waited for a more stable seat as this takes some getting used to. There’s an amazing selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails that are enjoyable.
The small plates pandemic continues. I understand the concept but it feels like you're spending a lot of money to get bits and pieces of things - which admittedly are quite nice just not my vibe. The food is not as spicy as I was expecting it to be and a little too sweet for my taste. They had opened recently so they're still getting used to service but the staff were all very good and helpful and a special shout out to Kishon, the very helpful and accommodating bartender!
The food was very tasty. Yoghurt chat bombs are must. The lamb chops nicely cooked. The various sides were on point. Also the Dahl needs a special mention, it might be a simple dish but I did particularly enjoy it. I need to mention the decor there is thousands of LED lights, which brings about a nice vibe.
Beautiful Decor & great hospitality but ends there as it falls short on the flavour of the food and service from the kitchen. Birthday dinner disapointment. Very disapointing and expected much much more. social media is very much misleading and they have a great marketing team on board for sure!!!! we went for the Xmas feasting menu as we wanted to try a lot of the specials. we ordered the mango lassi to start with.. which was abit salty than ur usual Lassi. starters of the menu we went for gunpowder chicken.. very dry . Yogurt bombs in Puri parcels were mouthful of Yogurt and no other flavours coming through at all. filled with plain yogurt right to the brink and was overly sickening after one or two. Fenugreek fries were okay. nothing exceptional. Cheese toast or with pickle on the side.. Very strange combination. We Never got our mains sadly which was the office tiffin to try and was served the Dessert followed by the bill ( which was then waived as it was rather embarassing).. awkward situation for the customer and the manager. we barely ate anything and was 10pm and still hungry!! sad ending to a birthday evening. want to give this place the benefit of the doubt as it was day 3 of opening but then again based on the starters and the fact we left hungry .. i’m not sure if i want to risk a repeat!
I would say this is one of my top Indian restaurant. Went with my work colleague for lunch. The decor was beautiful and staff were brilliant. Staff were attentive, polite and always appeared happy to serve us. The food was delicious, tasted fresh, and served at the right temperature. We tried a bit of everything. My Asian colleague said it tasted authentic. I’m not a vegetarian, but the vegetarian option was so tasty. We were not left disappointed at all. Can’t wait to come back, I will definitely recommend it.
Dont order a lassi from there, because quite frankly they dont know how to make one, however the place itself is really nice, so was the service.
I am an Indian, India is known for spices and flavours and that s exactly this place was lacking. The ambience was amazing, decor was good, concept of swing seating was great. We were welcomed. We asked for tap water (free) it never came. I have never ever heard or seen a restaurant not having salt & pepper on the table. Upon asked some lime and peppers, 2 slices of lime was brought on a tissue paper (disappointing) I understand the restaurant may have their taste and speciality but you have different tastes, different cultures people come in the restaurant and customers should be given a choice to add salt, pepper, chillies (it s very common) . We ordered a bottle of wine, not once anyone came to top it up. Very disappointing
My daughter went to restaurant for her bday with friends. The service, food and management were excellent. Thanks for making her day special.
had a great time would definitely come again!!
Beautiful place, so pretty inside and the staff were great, daisy served us jokes and lovely food. She was amazing. Customer service 10/10
The service is just brilliant which is a huge plus with the very beautiful design
Came here for xmas lunch with colleagues paying £25.00 per person. The restaurant and decor is really nice. Unfortunately, the food was really bland and most definitely not authentic indian/south asian food. All the dishes were really bland, sweet and tasted the same. They all tasted watery and lacked flavour you would usually get in indian dishes. The dhal tasted like it was boiled with tumeric only. Why on earth would you serve potato cubes as a starter? Gunpowder chicken tasted like kfc popcorn chicken. In all honesty Ive had better tasting ready meals. I had high expectations and to say I was disappointed would be an understatement. Would not visit again or recommended it to anyone if you want authentic taste. What a waste of money!!
Food amazing! Staff were lovely would come again.
Fabulous place. Delicious food. Friendly staff
Not able to rate food as no one has come to take my order since forever :(
On 8/12/24, my wife and I were shopping at Westfield Stratford City and came across Mowgli and thought we d try it. The decor and atmosphere was 10/10 and the staff were prompt, pleasant and helpful. In terms of the food, I have never eaten such poor quality Indian food and I am from a south Asian background. We ordered a Bhel Puri which was just about OK, the sticky chicken was edible but tough. The lamb curry was a disgusting watered down mess, it had no flavour or spices whatsoever, the rotis were tiny and tasteless, the mango lassi was seriously disappointing and straight out of tin and left a horrible after taste. Overall, the portions were very small and if you like your food, you would have trouble sharing a portion of anything with anyone else as they were simply too small! Whilst was happy to pay the 10% service charge as the staff were genuinely really nice, I was not happy to pay for the meal and was preparing to leave my details and dispute the bill. My wife stopped me and didn t want to make a scene and especially as the staff were really nice. The food in this establishment was truly poor and how they can even claim to serve authentic Indian cooking is beyond me and it actually spoilt what was a really nice afternoon. I have thought about this and I would like the manager at the Stratford restaurant to provide an email address in the return comments whereby a full refund can be provided (I have my receipt) which I would then happily donate the money to their chosen charity as there is no way the company should be able to receive and keep the payment for such poor quality food! I look forward to a reply and a contact email address to be provided!
Great food and amazing service, would highly recommend!
Terrible food. How can this be called Indian food? Bhel Puri; terrible. Fish curry; too sweat. Dahl: overly boiled, looked like baby mashed up food. Paneer; too hard and sweet. How can Chai Masala tea (in an Indian restaurant) be a ShiBui tea bag in a teapot!!? Complete waste of time, money and a meal going to this place. Just dont bother. Go to Dishoom, the original best place for this kind of food. Only a few stops down the Jubilee Line for Dishoom Canary Wharf branch.
Amazing street food, no frills. The chaat bombs were to die for. The set menus are great and the daal and chicken curries were lovely. The service was not great, quite slow. Decor was very pretty and great location.
Great Food
Great food
Really nice food, wonderful atmosphere in the restaurant with all the lights and staff friendly, portion sizes were filling and we will be back soon :)
Amazing Indian food, lovely service, highly recommend!
Great service and amazing food, nice and quick
The food was not very flavourful. Not authenitic. Quite bland. Whitewashed type of stuff. When you go to an Indian restaurant you want the atmosphere to reflect that but this wasnt the case. The music they were playing was pop hits. Not the vibe. This is a great Indian restaurant for people who dont like Indian food so much. If you really like south Asian food you are better off elsewhere. Having said that the staff were really nice and we got really good service its jdut the food and the atmosphere that let it down which is a huge issue. Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly although by there door there are a bunch of glass jars that are very tempting for toddlers but you just need to be aware of that yourself and watch your kid.
Service and atmosphere really nice. Food is so poor. Really really bad. I am south asian and have had a variety of Indian food throughout my lifetime so I can appreciate different flavours and styles but this is not authentic nor is it flavoursome. It is really bland and so bad that I would advise no one to come here for food. I hope they will redo their menu and recipes.
Food was fantastic - staff made accommodation to our walk in, and were super friendly. We were served by Vinay who was wonderful, if you are in the area definitely drop in.
Good visit. Seated quickly, fast and efficient service. The food came out promptly and was of good quality. Lovely decor and a good atmosphere. No issues.
Its not just the food... We have eaten in MANY Mowglis up and down the country. Always starting with their chat bombs and never forgetting the tamarind sticky fries, absolutely superb. Today we were hosted by a wonderful trainee manager at the Stratford restaurant, extreamy polite and very accommodating. I managed to catch the general manager as we were leaving who was delighted to have a loyal customer sing her staffs praises. Excellent service.
We were looking forward for Mowglis since it had opened. We had the sharer menu. Disappointed does not even cover it. The yogurt chat bombs were cold yogurt and soggy. The butter chicken was bland, I don t understand how this could be described as the real deal . The gunpowder chicken and fries tasted the exact same - also flavourless. Someone else commented/reviewed that the food tasted straight from a tin - this could not be a better description. A frozen meal has more flavour. We will not be returning.
Really disappointed as the food was extremely bland. The butter chicken did not taste like butter chicken, the prawn curry tasted like Heinz tomato soup with added prawns. Honestly avoid this place if you are looking to have a good curry.
I had such a nice time at Mowgli! Everything was just perfect. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and the staff were super friendly and attentive, especially a girl named Moyan, who went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. I tried a variety of dishes, and honestly, everything was delicious each plate beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. I left feeling completely satisfied and happy. I highly recommend.
great new spot in West Field. warm welcoming staff and just soo helpfull!
I was extremely disappointed with the food. It lacked flavor and authenticity. I had the Mowgli House Lamb, which was particularly underwhelming tiny pieces of lamb in a watery sauce with no spice or depth. The roti bread tasted like it was shop-bought and reheated rather than freshly made. I also had the Angry Bird, which was basically chicken with Mowgli Slaw. The Mowgli Slaw made up three-quarters of the dish, and the chicken was dry with no tandoori spice at all. The menu was printed on pieces of paper and looked like an essay. Overall, a very disappointing experience.
Service was lack luster. Went on a Saturday evening, it took 30 minutes for someone to come and take our drink order. It then took 25 minutes for 3 drinks to served to us, I should add the restaurant was not extremely busy. When I attempted to order additional drinks, I was told that the bar was closed and kitchen was closed?? I then asked why I wasnt ask for last orders if they were aware the bar was closing & nobody informed us the kitchen was closing either after waiting almost 50 minutes for 3 cocktails. Save your money and go elsewhere in Stratford
Mowgli Stratford is a hidden gem. The moment you step in, youre transported to the bustling streets of India. The food is a symphony of spices, each dish a masterpiece. The staff, friendly and attentive, added to the overall delightful experience. Dont miss out on their halal delights!
Where the spices dance on your tongue and the flavors sing! A foodies paradise, with halal options that are simply divine. Trust me, your taste buds will thank you. Must visit
A flavor-packed adventure awaits at Mowgli Stratford. The dishes are simply divine, and the service is top-notch. The best part? Halal options that are just as delicious as the rest of the menu. Dont miss out!
Not much good food Very slow service No one care about us Very bad experience Food : 1/5 |
Exceptional Indian Fusion Street Food in East London I recently discovered an incredible spot in East London serving Indian fusion street food, and it was a delightful surprise. The dishes were creative, flavorful, and refreshingly different from traditional Indian cuisine. Cheese Toast: A fusion twist on a classic, perfectly cheesy and satisfying. Agra Chicken: Juicy, tender, and packed with spices, offering a unique flavor profile that stands out. Temple Dhal: Rich, comforting, and aromatic a perfect balance of textures and spices. Each dish was a testament to innovation while staying true to the essence of Indian flavors. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a modern take on Indian street food!
Amazing service, extraordinary food and a cool concept.
Best restaurants in East london
The atmosphere is good, food is not great. Service takes forever. Portions are very small, food is sweet. When asked about why Indian food is sweet, the waitress said that s how it s here but she knows Indian food is not sweet. Not a great experience
Came down here yesterday! Gabby was amazing! Super attentive and helpful! Food was great too! Will definitely be coming back!
Simply brilliant!
The food was great. Staff very pleasant and kind. Perfectly complemented by the indie atmosphere.
Super
Really enjoyed our evening. Service and food was outstanding.
Went to Mowgli for lunch. Me and my mother ordered three curries off of the menu to share. We got the Mother butter chicken (love the play on words), Goan fish curry and the vegetarian picnic potato curry. Each dish had such fragrant, powerful flavours which we enjoyed immensely. Each dish had its own unique flavours which was delightful and refreshing considering most south Asian restaurants use a common curry base for all curries. The Sweet Delhi heights cocktail was so nice and the price point made it even better. It had a lovely vibe with so many beautiful lights and decor though one tip would be that the swings, although comfortable for me, may be uncomfortable for others due to the lack of back support so do keep that in mind. Service was great and everyone was so friendly and helpful. Overall I recommend this place 100% Vegetarian options: The vegetarian and vegan options are marked very clearly. As the partner of a vegan, I can say that this restaurant has so many options compared to most places and the food is just as delicious. If you are vegan/vegetarian I very much recommend this restaurant.
The food was the worst I ever had. Taken from the tin directly. Very bland and no taste. I hope they get good chefs for them to survive. Service was good with very pleasant atmosphere.
The atmosphere was charming from the entrance itself, got some warm welcome from the host. Tried Christmas Feasting menu, Office worker. Those tiffins really made me amazed. Delicious food with good portions. I highly recommend this place, will visit again.
I love it there. The food is really high quality and tastes amazing. If you ever wanted to go somewhere to eat a good meal and have a gastronomic experience, this is exactly it. The service is amazing and nice. Theres a great atmosphere there. I love when the restaurant lives and works like a family.
We found the food far too sweet, each dish seemed like it was cooked in the same sauce there was just no distinct punchy flavours. It s a shame because the restaurant is so beautiful and the staff were super attentive.
We managed to grab lunch here on a Saturday without booking. Excellent decor inside. Been wanting to try this for ages and knowing how filling and rich Indian food can be, we went for just the gunpowder chicken, angry bird, roti and goan fish curry. The gunpowder Chicken was rather disappointing (just fried chicken) while the angry Bird and goan fish curry were very good. Two final points, the swing seats on the left look great, but are totally impractical to eat on. Also, the masala chai was nothing like it! Just a teabag in a pot - for an Indian street food place, this is abysmal!
Very cool looking restaurant with a great atmosphere. Our server Paige was fantastic. The food was really nice and not overly spicy. Would definitely visit again.
ABIT to much of Christmas vibes with the lightings Portion size was extremely small for what Ur paying Chat bombs was nice but 2chops for £13 was ABIT of a joke Currys were not to my likings lacked alot of flavour was more for ppl that liked bland food Overall was okay
The design of the restaurant is nice. Food is average not authentic at all, portions are quite small and service takes way too long, we were waiting for our food for about 35 mins
went to this restaurant through the visual, there is a really good atmosphere, where I garland - always blows romance and comfort. But the pluses end there. For me, this is not an excuse that the new institution, the service can be bad or still get used to work. You should open an institution with good, smart staff, and not people from the street who were not waiters in life. The waiter brought us drinks put a delivery on the table, put bottles on the table and turned to leave, then the manager ran up and told her to open the bottles. After the snack, which we did not milk from us, a plate and our plates were taken from under our noses, although another dish was put on the table in front of it. The officer continued to clean up, did not offer us other plates, just turned around and left, after 10 minutes she came and began to take another half-full plate of food, we stopped her, after a few minutes she came again to take.. it seems that the institution lacks dishes for dishes and is simply taken from the tables. Horror, I did not want to pay the bill at all after such a service.
lovely food and drinks (small plate style), friendly service. The vibe and style of the restaurant are lovely, especially the swing like seats.
An unfortunate experience. The food and wine were overwhelmed by the sheer inadequacy of the training for staff prior to the open. The service was rushed, without need. There were many open tables available and we were well within our time slot when requesting the bill, within about 15 minutes of our food arriving we began to be approached by runners attempting to plate clear when large portions of food remained. From the insistent manner of the approach I have to assume new members of staff were being encouraged to look busy which sours the experience for those of us trying to feel relaxed and well catered to. Many restaurants offer shorter bookings, if turnover is priority I would advise shortening booking time so as to set expectations. Otherwise, dont be hasty and dont neglect to train your staff on the fundamentals of service.
Great atmosphere, nice food. Really lovely lighting and swing seats were very fun. Lovely welcoming staff. Could have been a bit heavier on spice with a few dishes but everything was super tasty. Our waiter Vinni was really great, very friendly and recommended several dishes and sides. The only very small downside was that other staff were little over zealous with clearing plates that werent finished. We had a great meal, thank you.
Instagram worthy ambiance heightens the experience of an otherwise mediocre meal. We ordered the set menu for £25 per person that came with 3 appetizers, 3 curries of the chefs choice, rice, roti and dessert. Appetizers: The yogurt chat bombs while heavy on the yogurt, were delicious. The fenugreek kissed fries had potential but unfortunately were very dry and not enough toppings meant more than half the dish was simply dried out potato. The chicken while tasty, was mostly batter. We did not finish either the fries or chicken because of this. Curries: We chose the veggie option. We got one chick pea dish, one lentil dish and one potato dish. We were disappointed at the lack of awareness being served with 2 potato dishes (first an appetizer and now a curry). Had we known there would be no other vegetables served (cauliflower or spinach perhaps?), we likely would have opted for the meat option. There were too many heavy ingredients used in this meal, served with heavy sides of rice and roti. We did not finish any of the curries, rice nor roti. Dessert: salted caramel ice cream. It was a delicious flavour, although it didn t not match the vibe of the meal. Disappointingly, it arrived half melted. Overall the set menu was ok but overpriced for what felt like a cheap ingredient list of of beans and potatoes. Service: Service was friendly but attention to detail was lacking. It took quite a while to get the dirty plates off the table after our meal and the table of 2 next to us was sitting there with 8 empty glasses on it. We found it odd that upon ordering another round that their empty glasses were not removed. We weren t sure who our server was as 5 different people approached our table at different times, which would explain why we were offered dessert menus 3 times by 3 different people despite having ordered the set menu that already comes with dessert. To top a mediocre experience off, a £1 donation is automatically added to the bill. While you can ask for it to be removed, this feels a bit presumptuous to assume patrons have read about this on the menu.
What an amazing place, Mowgli never ceases to amaze! From the warm and friendly greeting from the manager, to the taste-bud tingling sensation of the Chili Fandango Margarita, to the Chip Butty, everything was fantastic! Can t wait to return!
Love the food and servers are really nice and helpful, over 10/10 experience
Had an amazing experience at Mowgli Street Food! The food was incredible, and our server was so friendly, making us feel really welcome. It really feels like home Can t wait to come back!
Loved the food, Mowgli is not like other restaurants, they have a 25% off deal if you download the app and get 6 stamps you get that amazing discount, I live local so I m definitely coming back because the food here is not like other Indian restaurant, the food is absolutely immaculate and the servers are so lovely
Nice looking restaurant, the food was just ok in my opinion and the portions were a little small for the price. Loved the cocktail I had it was very tasty.
Wow
The food was 10/10 and the service was top tier . Beautiful atmosphere and nice vibes , recommended my Moyan and it would be good choice for birthdays , work gatherings etc
Fabulous find! My husband and I happened upon this spot for dinner last night, and I am so glad we did. The food was delicious, the staff were so friendly and helpful, and the ambiance was gorgeous! We started off with the Yoghurt Chat Bombs, which were a tasty, unexpected flavor bomb. Then we each had the Tiffin Roulette; my husband had the Office Worker s Tiffin and I had the Indian School Tiffin. Both were outstanding, with a lovely sampling of flavor profiles. I highly recommend this spot for a fun, delicious meal out! Kid-friendliness: Our four-month-old son joined us for dinner in his pram. The staff could not have been more friendly and welcoming to us and our son.
The restaurant offers a visually stunning ambiance with thoughtful decor that exudes a premium feel. The use of swings as chairs is a creative touch that adds a unique charm to the dining experience. The service was equally commendable staff members were friendly, welcoming, and ensured we felt at ease throughout our visit. However, the food fell short of expectations. I only tried the vegetarian dishes, so I can t comment on the meat options, but the dishes I sampled seemed tailored to British palates rather than staying true to authentic Indian flavors. The paneer dish, for instance, was overly sweet, which masked the intricate spice balance one expects in traditional recipes. The roti was thick and lacked flavor, and naan wasn t available, leaving bread options disappointingly limited. While the restaurant impresses with its decor and hospitality, focusing on delivering a more authentic Indian culinary experience particularly for vegetarian dishes could elevate it significantly.
Eating here was a great experience! I m so thrilled they opened a Mowgli restaurant in East London as I used to go to their spot in Charlotte Street. Now I can enjoy my favourite Indian food closer to home! The quality of the food and service exceeds any expectations and the decor of the restaurant is the perfect backdrop to the experience!
Amazing food, explosion of flavours! The only piece of feedback I have is that you should make real chai tea. After trying all that delicious food it was quite disappointing to be given teabag chai tea...
Very beautiful restaurant, definite Diwali vibes. The ambience and customer service is excellent. We tried the veg tiffin, yoghurt chaat bomb and fenugreek fries. The food was nice but we expected slightly better overall. Everything was a bit sweet for and not as authentic and flavorful.
Amazing service , beautiful atmosphere and very good food , I m happy with everything .
Amazing
What a refreshing experience, not that often you experience never before tasted flavors Well done Food
We decided to check out the newly opened Westfield branch and we re so glad we did! The food was excellent - every dish unique and delicious - the only issue was deciding what to order from the menu! Luckily the format is sharing/small plates so we got to order 6/7 dishes between us which along with a bottle of wine (a very decent Pinot Noir for £27) came to around £80. The space was bright but not overbearing with fairly lights galore, the vibe buzzy but not overbearing. The service was spot on, Daisy our waitress in particular a star - engaging, funny and personable - as someone with 25+ years of hospitality experience, I d hire her at the drop of a hat! I ll be back for sure and often! A welcome addition to the area and ignore the fact it s technically in Westfield - once inside you re oblivious to the fact Dietary restrictions: Lots of appealing veggie and vegan options, easily accessible allergens info
We loved our time at Mowgli! Amrin was so welcoming, friendly and on it! Fantastic service and even better food.
I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Mowgli! The food was nothing short of exceptional. The Bunny Chow was rich, flavorful, and perfectly spiced-a real standout dish. The Angry Bird brought a delightful kick, and the lamb chops were tender, juicy, and seasoned to perfection. Every bite was a celebration of flavors! The service was equally impressive. Amrin, our server, did an amazing job making us feel so welcome. She was not only efficient and attentive but also incredibly friendly with a great sense of humor. She really added to the experience, making it feel less like dining out and more like being hosted in someones home. The food came out surprisingly quickly, which was a pleasant surprise, and the rest of the staff were equally warm and accommodating. The ambiance of the restaurant is beautiful, with thoughtful decor thats both stylish and cozy. It truly felt like home. Well done, Mowgli! Youve got an incredible team and food that leaves a lasting impression. I cant wait to return!
Overall very disappointing Positives: Ambience and aesthetic Negatives: Food was incredibly bland. None of the dishes had any authentic flavours and the butter chicken tasted like airplane food. Portions were small for the price. 2 chicken thighs for £10. Service was friendly but slow. Tap water didn t arrive and we were left at the door for 5 mins when arriving before being greeted.
Amazing visit, so lovely to see a Mowgli open in Westfield. Cant wait to go back
Delicious food, stunning restaurant and lovely service. Will definitely be back.
Absolute loved it! The food, the service, just everything. What an amazing restaurant!! I can t wait to come back with all my friends, everyone needs to try Mowgli
Had lunch in here with a friend...fantastic
Lovely atmosphere, the big tree was really pretty. Ate and loved all the food, basically had to roll me out afterwards
What a lovely experience we had at the new Mowgli in Stratford, London celebrating our friends 25th Wedding Anniversary. We have visited both restaurants in Liverpool and and Stratford did not disappoint. The atmosphere created by the lighting and design is beautiful, the food was amazing as it always is and the staff attentive. Will definitely visit again
Mowgli, you have done it again!! Ate here whilst visiting my friend, she was a Mowgli virgin, but not anymore after our visit. The food was delicious, the service was spot on, friendly and welcoming. I shall definitely be back when Im visiting my friend again.
